Taala but we are saying that why am I doing this and what am I getting out of this?
		

			And that's why in Islam and within our deen there is so much emphasis upon the concept of intention.
That's why Subhanallah when you study any book of FIP the concept and the idea and the topic of
intention is relevant across the board. You study Kitab Salah, the idea and the topic of intention
is irrelevant there. You study Kitab Iman and faith intention is found over there you study Kitab
was sown Kitab was Zakah Kitab al Hajj and any other kitab. In the books of FIP. Across the board,
the subject of intention comes up over and over again. But what happens is that in life, we don't
pay attention to the things that are invisible. We don't pay attention to the things that are behind
		

			the scenes. That's why Subhan Allah, the example that has been given of intention is like a seed
that we planted into the ground. When we put a seed into the ground, we make sure that it is
surrounded with layers of healthy soil that will that will ensure that the this
		

			Seed is able to sprout a healthy plant. And so after we put that seed into the ground, we look after
it. But what happens is that when that seeds when that seed began to sprout, and you see a very
beautiful plant on top of the ground, none of us we began to think about the work and the effort
that went behind the seed with the person who planted that seed, but what we see is what is in front
of us, which is a bush of very beautiful roses.
		

			And so we don't pay attention upon the invisible thing. The invisible thing here is that seed, and
these and these scholars, they give this example, that that seed is like the intention in your
heart.
		

			That seed is like the intention in your heart, we don't pay close attention to the intention, we
always play, we always pay close attention to what comes after. But if we do not pay close attention
to the intention, then this will have a very this will have an effect upon the outcome. It's like

			Having a proper intention and when the intentions are not there, how does it affect us?

I'm reading Quran then there is no benefit behind that. But that is why we are required to think
about before I read the Quran, why am I doing this? How many of us have been for Hajj and Umrah? How
many of us have been for Hajj and Umrah so many of us the purpose of Hajj as many Ahmadi agree is
that you have to change your life. Now if we go for Hajj and we go for ombre and we boast about this
		

			that I have done multiple genres I've done multiple Hajj. But if I'm the same exact person that we
really need to reflect upon the intention that we made before we went for hij before we went for
ombre if I went for ombre because this is going to be a great time with my family, then yes, you
will have a great time with your family because that is what you intended for and we're in America

			If we go for heights with the intention, that I'm going to change my life, I'm going to make this an
experience of a lifetime. Then insha Allah it will be an experience of a lifetime.
		

			We do so many things every single day. As I said, we go to the restroom.
		

			When I go to the restroom, I'm going there not because to have fun. No one goes home no one goes to
the bathroom like let's have fun. We go to them we go to the bathroom because we need to. We take
care of our needs and we get out. But if the intention
		

			if the intention is I'm going inside and but before I do that, I will follow the Sunnah of
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. There is a mess known dua dua that we find in the life of

			We all go to work. Someone asks you why you're going to work. I'm going to work because I have to
earn an income for my family. I have to provide food on the table for my family. I have to provide a
roof over my own my family, I have to take care of their needs. That's why I'm going to work. So
that is your intention. So your intention is to go and earn money. So what happens we're in an
equilibrium manner where Allah gives you exactly what you want and what you intended for. But if we
change the intention here, that I'm going because taking care of my family is a religious obligation
		

			is a religious obligation. And I'm going to go I'm going to earn money with from a halal source to
please Allah subhanho wa Taala that you could be sitting in Cisco for eight hours during the day,
but you will get the reward of a bother for eight hours during the day.
		

			This is how
		

			intention changes everything.
		

			There are many youth over here who are studying, they're going to school. What is your objective
when you go to school, let's just say you're becoming a doctor. If you become a doctor and you're
thinking back in the back in your mind, or you're becoming an IT professional, like you're going to
involve, you're going to get involved in coding, whatever it is. So you're thinking that I'm going
to go study, if you're a doctor, you know, I'm studying why, because I want to earn a six figure
salary.
		

			I want to earn a six figure salary, I want to do it because I love it. Hey, that's your intention.
But let's just say if we were to change our intention, let's just say a person is going and studying
medicine. But the intention is that Allah subhana wa Taala will insha Allah provide me and give me a
certain skill set? Allah subhanaw taala will provide me knowledge, and through this knowledge, and
through this skill set, I will help the Muslim community and I will help those who are in need, and
I will help those who need my who need my assistance. Why only to please Allah subhanho wa Taala
Yes, money is part of the I'm not taking away the aspect of money, money can stay there, the
		

			intention of money can remain there. But you also change your intention that you're doing it to
please Allah subhanho wa taala. In the long run, then what happens is that every single time you're
sitting, you're sitting there, you're studying, you're in class, you're in residency, you're
studying anatomy and physiology, and whatever you're doing, you're getting the reward as if you're
engaging everybody that because your intention is to please Allah subhanho wa taala. If your
intention is to become an IT expert, or IT professional, and the idea is that I'm going to help,
yes, I'm going to earn a salary from this, I'm going to earn an income from this, but at the same
		

			time, if my Muslim community needs my help, I'm going to provide my services my valuable time to
help the cause of Islam. I love Islam, I'm going to help the cause of Islam through my skill set,
that you can be sitting there and you could be just coding away, but you'll get the reward all this
time that you're doing that this is the power of intention. So the question is that what what is our
intention? Before I get married, why am I getting married? Am I just getting married? In my having
kids because this is just a life. This is how life goes on. You know, we study we grow up, we get
married, then we have kids, then we become old is that what life is no. At the time of even
		

			marriage. The idea and the intention in our hearts should be that I'm getting married to a righteous
spouse, that through this righteous spouse, I will come close to Allah subhanho wa Taala we will aid
one another to come close to Allah subhanho wa Taala we will wake up each other for salt and Fajr we
will help each other to to please Allah subhanho wa Taala we will produce children that will please
Allah subhanahu wata Isla, then in that case, your marriage is not just a part of life, but then
your marriage becomes a burger.
		

			How many of us as men, we babysit at home, the wives are at home, taking care of the children. The
wife comes home one day and says, You know what, I have to go to a certain event, I have to go to a
seminar, I have to go to a conference, you're gonna sit at home and take care of the children. So
the men at home is sitting down there taking care of their children, they're babysitting, someone
gives you a call, what are you doing? I'm babysitting the children. And let's say you were to change
your intention when you babysit your children to when you are at home taking care of your children,
you change your intention, I'm at home, I'm going to give time to my children. First of all, because
		

			that is what was was Allahu alayhi wa salam did. Number two is that hopefully the time I'm giving to
my children, I'm going to modify and I will see if there's anything wrong that they're doing. I'm
going to change that. I'm going to make them into better people. I'm going to teach them o'clock I'm

So that's why we have to pay very close attention to our intentions. What are we doing it for?
		

			Always ask this question to ourselves, why am I doing it? So this is one thing what happens? Well,
this is the first benefit that we get when we make the proper intention, everything becomes
meaningful. The second thing is that we're able to achieve more when a person's intention is in the
right place. Allah subhanho wa Taala helps that person to achieve their goals. I want to share with
you the story of once again, the person the author of the other side of me might know we document

was so immersed into his books, he never gave them any attention. He says that when he inquired,
they told him that this is this is who the child is, his father is the owner of that grocery store.
So he says that the scholar says that I went to the grocery store to talk to the father and tell him
that you're you have a very gifted son. And I believe that you should dedicate him and get let him
		

			go and study and pursue his studies in Islamic sciences. And he says, Absolutely not. I need his
help. He's gonna stay here with me. But he said that Imam No, we don't need to lie, they then
reached the age of approximately 19 years old. And at that time, 19 years old, you're considered as
an adult, like a really developed mature adults. So what happens is that, hey, the father sees his
dedication. And he says, You know what, if you want to go and study, go and study, I give you
