compiled in terms of ahaadeeth, various ahaadeeth that became famous as as much as the book of Imam and neverwet, his 40 ahaadeeth.

And

obviously, the right thing to do is to cover each and every single one of these bodies.

And so every single Muslim should,

you know, go through this entire book,

from the first Heidi to the last. And that's because

the topics that are covered in these ahaadeeth basically cover everything that a Muslim needs to know

everything

concerning the Muslim and what he needs to know, for his Deen and for his dunya and his Ashura.

But obviously, that's not possible in the time that we have. And so

the ahaadeeth that have been selected, have been carefully selected to basically

help the Muslim to

you know, tread his path in this dunya such that it will help him

to reach gender in the era.

And so I asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to reward the brothers and the sisters who have been behind the scenes working hard to put this conference together. And we ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to grant us benefit through what we learn.

I mean,

the Hadees that we have

tonight is Heidi's number 36.

a people who assemble gather in one of the houses of Allah reciting the book of a lot learning it and teaching it

there descends upon them, tranquility, and mercy covers them. And the angels flock around them. And ally mentions them in the presence of those who are near him.

And so this is the Hadith, the entire Hadith, in this Hadith,

we see that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned at least six

different things that if a person does, he will get six different rewards. For each of the six things, there is a reward. And so the first of these things is to remove a difficulty from the believer,

your Muslim brother or sister who's in a certain difficulty, whatever kind of difficulty that be,

for you to come and help them in that difficulty, relieve them of that difficulty, the reward, Allah will remove one of your difficulties

on the Day of Judgment, and the reward here has been delayed. Until the day of judgment, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not say that Allah will remove for him a hardship in this dunya.

He could have said that, but he didn't.

So why did he say that?

Allah will remove

a difficulty for him on the Day of Judgment. That is because the difficulties

of that day are much, much more severe than in this dunya. And so what a great reward. What a great reward for the one who helps his Muslim brother or sister who is in a difficulty that Allah will remove a difficulty from him on the Day of Judgment. The second

is to relieve

a Muslim who is drowning in debt,

and they can't pay off their debt.

And so you come and you help them to pay it off. Or, for example, you may be the one who who lent them that money. And so you forgive them, you pardon them, you say, you know, don't, you don't have to pay me back. These are all different kinds of examples of how one can relieve a Muslim who is in debt. The reward of Allah subhanho wa Taala will make things easy for him on the Day of Judgment. So just like he made things easy for his Muslim brother, or sister in this dunya then Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Judgment once again

highlighting the fact that a low will make things easy for him on that day, because the hardships of that day are 100 1000 times more than the hardships of this dunya. The third is covering up covering up the faults and the sins of a Muslim.

And so you see a Muslim who has committed a certain sin, and nobody else knows about it, or it hasn't become well known.

And so you come, and you make sure that it stays that way.

You'll make sure that it doesn't become known, you cover up their faults and their sins, you don't go around

talking about this person that he did this, and he did that. And so the one who does this, the reward or loss of Hannah Montana will cover him up, Allah subhanho wa Taala will cover his faults and his sins, in this dunya. And in the next.

And this is specifically for those Muslims who are not known for their evil.

And so they may have slipped, they may have made a certain mistake. And,

you know, they asked for the forgiveness of Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

As for those who they are known for their evil and their persistence in evil, then especially in the open and in the public, then they should be reported, where there is a Muslim government

that actually, you know, cares about these things. And so

they should be, they should be reported in that sense, but only in proportion to what they did, and not more than that. And so, one should not go around gossiping about this person saying other things about him that are not relevant to removing that evil, removing that evil that has taken place, the fourth,

being supportive of your Muslim brother,

being supportive of your Muslim brother or sister always coming to the help of them. The reward, a loss of Hannah who went to Allah will support you allow a loss of Hannah who will always be helping you. The fifth, treading the path of seeking knowledge,

treading the path of seeking knowledge, and this obviously refers to Islamic knowledge. This obviously refers to Islamic knowledge, and the reward for that Allah subhanahu wa taala makes the path leading to gender easy for the student of knowledge. And this includes both in this Jr, and in the era. And so as for this dunya, Allah subhanahu attallah guides him to the path

of doing the deeds of the people of

Allah subhanho wa Taala guides him

to do the good deeds of the people of Ghana.

And so, that is how

the path to gender is made easy for him in this dunya. As for the Ashura, then there is a path, a syrup

in the asteroid that we will be made to pass. And so, on that day of horror and hardship, Allah subhanahu wa taala will make it easy for the believer to find that path and to tread it to reach.

And this shows us this shows us

the importance of seeking Islamic knowledge and how it is

the source of every good in this life and the next. And that's what a blocker you mentioned when he said that the source of any good that a person gains in this dunya and in the era, the source of it is two things.

Just knowledge and justice. So, this is the Baraka, the blessings of seeking knowledge, that it helps you both in this life and in the next. Finally, the sixth

thing that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned and mentioned its reward.

And this is what we will be focusing on.

Gathering assembling in one of the houses of Allah in one of the massage of Allah reciting the book of Allah the Quran, learning, teaching it

what will be the reward for such people for things

their descends upon them Sakina tranquility

or Rama mercy

covers them

and the angel

flock

around them.

And the loss of Hannah who is Allah mentions them in the presence of those near him, meaning in the presence of the angels that are near Allah subhana wa Tada. And so here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned

the virtue of coming together

to remember Allah subhanho wa Taala

but he restricted it, when he mentioned that it is in the in the masjid fee baiting mingle Utila in one of the houses of Allah

and he restricted it when he mentioned that they are reciting the Quran. So not just any Vicar, not just any remembrance, but specifically the hora

and he restricted it when he said, learning the Quran and and teaching it.

And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made these restrictions, why did he make them because, as for domesticated, then there is no doubt that it is the most beloved of places on this earth to Allah subhana wa Tada. And so the masjid is a place of the dhikr of Allah. It is the place of the ADA, the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And so the massages are the best places on earth.

As for the Quran, why did he specifically mentioned the Quran because the Quran is the best form of Vicar. The Quran is the best form of Vicar to recite the Quran.

And as for restricting it to learning it and studying it and teaching it,

then that is because that is the best thing a person can do. That is the best thing that a person can do as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned when he said how you hukum men pty limited or an O Allah, that the best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.

The best of you are those who will learn the Quran, and teach it.

And learning the Quran and teaching it studying. It

includes not just learning how to read it, how to pronounce it properly, but also learning its meanings and its teachings. And so it's all common, it's comprehensive of both of these two things, and not restricted to only learning how to recite the Quran.

And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned

for rewards for these people.

He mentioned for rewards for each for these people who do these things, who come together

in the masjid

for no other reason than to recite the Quran

and to learn it, and to study it and to teach it what is the reward for things.

And so, let us look at each one of these four things and then let us

mention other Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned these four things. And so the first is that Sakina descends upon them.

And as Allah tala hemos, Sakina

Sakina, tranquility, serenity, this sense of peace descends upon them.

And so we have a hadith in this regard.

And this is the hadith of Al Bara, even as a

rhodiola one that can be found in body and Muslim, the Prophet salallahu or abroad, even as it mentions, that there was a man once reciting surah to calf, and a horse,

a horse was tied with two ropes beside him.

So as he would recite,

a cloud would overshadow shadow him.

And

as it as it began to come nearer and nearer that cloud, as it started to come nearer and nearer to him, the horse that was tied up, would all of a sudden start to trample violently, because he's seeing this, this cloud coming down.

And so this man, he came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam in the morning, and he mentioned to him what had happened. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that was a Sakina

That was that tranquility, which descended as a result of your recitation of the Quran.

And so this shows us that reciting the Quran, it causes tranquility and serenity and peace, to descend, to come down upon those who are involved in this great act of a bat.

The second

virtue that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned is

well has yet to mourn,

that mercy envelopes them, mercy surrounds them, mercy covers them up. And so, a little washy in the Arabic language

it means to completely cover something and and the washi is basically a covering like a blanket. So at night when you take a blanket, and you sleep in it, and it completely covers you, likewise, this mercy, it completely covers you.

And so, in this regard, settleman are the Allahu and he narrates that he was among a group of people who were remembering Allah subhana wa Tada.

So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam passed by?

And he said,

what were you all saying?

I saw mercy Rama descending upon you all. So I wanted to participate with you in that.

And so this shows us that mercy depends that mercy descends upon those who remember Allah subhanahu wa tada and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sight with his own eyes.

The third reward is, we'll have fun when women are eager that the angels flock around them, their angels descend upon them and

sit with them.

And in this regard, we have ahaadeeth

mentioned in Bukhari and Muslim,

narrated by Abu huraira rhodiola.

Who said that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said that Allah subhanho wa Taala has teams of angels, who go about on the roads, seeking those who remember Allah subhanho wa Taala.

When they find some people remembering a lot,

they call to one another. The angels, when they see a group of people remembering the law, they call upon one another upon the other angels. And they say, Come Come, come to what you were looking for. And so they surround them with their wings, until the space between them and the lowest Heaven is fully covered.

So this shows us that the angels come down

and surround those who remember Allah subhanho wa Taala had the fourth

the fourth reward of these people is that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions them or de kado, or that Kalra whom Allahu female, and that Allah mentions them in the presence of those who are nearest to him. subhanho wa Taala.

And so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, In this regard, said the COO Rooney, as the korakuen fedco Rooney as the korakuen. So remember me, and I will remember you.

Remember Allah subhanho, wa Taala with your heart and your tongue, and a loss of Hannah, who

will remember you as well by mentioning you.

And in this regard, a Buddha or Viola who narrates in a hadith also found in audio Muslim, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

that Allah says

and I'm the one the IDB

what Ana ma who he that, that.

He said, that Allah says, so this is a hadith could see that Allah says, I am as my sleeve as my servant expects me to be. And I am with him when he remembers me. And I am with him. When he remembers me.

If he remembers me inwardly, I will remember him inwardly. And if he remembers me in the ring

and in assembly, then I will remember him.

In a better gathering, in a better assembly, and what is meant by that is that a lot remembers this person by mentioning him to the angels, to the gathering and the assembly of those who were with him so Hanna who attalla and these are some of the best angels, those who are in the Presence of Allah Subhana who etana next to Allah with Allah Subhana who What?

And so what greater reward can a person possibly get, then for Allah subhanahu wa tada to remember them, and to mention them among the best of the last creatures the angels.

And in another Hadith narrated by Maha We are the Allahu and he says, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once he came out upon a circle of the companions, and he said, what has caused you to gather here today and sit together

like the way you are sitting? So they said, We have gathered for the sitting, to remember Allah subhanho wa Taala. And Tim for having guided us to Islam, and for having bestowed what he has bestowed upon us of blessings.

So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam asked them by Allah,

nothing else, cause you together for the sitting, except that. So they said, Yes, by Allah. Nothing has caused us to gather and come together and sit the way we are, except for that. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

I did not ask you this out of suspicion, meaning, I didn't ask you this because I was suspicious. What are you guys doing here? You know, you're up to no good. No, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, I did not ask you out of suspicion.

But only because gibreel came to me and informed me that Allah subhanho wa Taala is boasting about you to the angels.

And so once again, we see that those who remember Allah Subhana, WA Tada,

Allah subhanho, wa Taala, remembers them, and mentions them and boasts about them to the angels, saying, Look at these servants of mine, look at how they are remembering me.

And so this is the idea that we have Heidi's number 36.

And what we'll do now is we'll go through some of the lessons that we can learn from this hadith. And there are many, but we'll focus on those lessons that

are specific to this part of the Hadith. And so,

as we mentioned, there are many things mentioned in this hadith.

But we only focused on, we only focused on that part of the hudy there's a last part of the study that we did not mention, and that was the Prophet sallallahu. How do you sell them statement, women bought Barbie,

lamb use Rio de nessa boo, that's the last part of the Hadith. It basically means that

whoever lags behind in doing good deeds,

he will not

he will not be able to move forward and to go ahead meaning on the Day of Judgment, because of his noble lineage. Meaning that there are some people who think that because of my noble lineage, because of of my ancestors and who I go back to,

that will benefit me, even though I lag behind in doing good deeds and doing the deeds of the people of Jen.

And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made clear,

made clear here, in this last part of the Hadith, that

this is not true. And no one will benefit from anyone else, no matter who they are related to. The only thing that you will benefit from or deeds, what you did in this dunya whether it be whatever good you may have done in Estonia. And so that's why even the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will not be able to benefit those who he loved, who ended up passing away upon Cofer, such as his uncle Abu Talib.

And unfortunately, there are Muslims today.

Who

they claim that their lineage goes back to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And they boast about it. They take pride in it, even though you find them to be some of the most distinct from the teachings of Islam.

And so they think that

That lineage alone will help them on the Day of Judgment, and will help them to enter agenda. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made it clear that that is not the case. And so coming to the lessons of the lessons that we learned from this hadith

The first is a general lesson

related to each of the six points that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam mentioned, where he mentioned a deed and action. And he mentioned its corresponding reward, what do we notice? What do we notice with each of these actions?

What we notice is

that a reward, with a loss of kind of with data is always proportionate to the deed that we do.

And so notice how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned the reward being similar in kind to the action that was taken by the servant.

And this is known in the phrase algiz our origins, Allah Hamad,

that

the rewards that you get is like, the action that you

the reward that you end up getting, is no different than the action that you took. And this goes both, this goes both ways, in good and bad. And so whatever good you do, you will see a similar kind of reward for that good in this life and in the next. And so you help somebody, then Allah will help you. You relieve a hardship for someone, Allah will relieve a hardship for you. You remember Allah, Allah will remember you and so on and so forth. Not just what has been mentioned in this Hadith, but throughout the Quran and Sunnah you find that the reward is always proportionate and similar in kind to the action, the good deed and likewise with regards to with regards to bad deeds.

And so, there are various punishments mentioned for various kinds of bad deeds, especially the major sins

and you find that they are similar in nature, to, to the action the evil deed that the person did. The second lesson that we learn from this hadith

is diverse true of the massage it the virtue of

the

houses of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam described the masjid as being the house of Allah

and

in the Quran and Sunnah, whenever, whenever something is attributed to Allah subhanho wa Taala. It is one of two things.

Whenever something is attributed to a lot that this is something of Allah,

then it is one of two things, either it is an attribute of Allah,

such as Rahmatullah, the mercy of Allah

or it is not an attribute of Allah but a creation of Allah.

A creation of Allah and the reason for why it is being attributed to Allah is out of honor for that creation, out of honor for that creation of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So the Kava is referred to as Baitullah,

the house of Allah, out of honor for the Kava.

The same with all of the massage, they are referred to as Will you have a loss of Hannah who were to Hannah? They were referred to as the houses of Allah.

And so this shows us that the masjid is honored by Allah subhanahu wa tada when he attributed it to himself.

The third lesson that we learn

from this hadith is the virtue of coming together in the masjid

to remember Allah subhanahu wa tada

to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala had

to learn

to study and to teach the book of Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

And

it's obviously with a lot of grief that the current times that we are in we're not able to do that

where we had the first lockdown many months ago and now as we speak right now

Now we are we are in the second lockdown that has been extended. And we asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to

relieve us of this hardship and this difficulty that is coming that has come in our way.

But the question now here is, and I'm sure this is a question on the minds of many of you.

Do we get the same reward mentioned by the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam in this hadith

while sitting at home,

listening and watching,

you know, this conference and benefiting and learning

or not.

And so, she has been hurt. I mean, Rahim Allah,

He used to have classes via tele link.

And

once he had a class via tele link to a neighboring city,

Buddha, he used to live in onaiza.

And he had a tele link with

this city Breda, which is where I used to live. And

they asked him on that telelinks, they asked him

about this very question. They asked him that look, yeah, sure.

We are now far from you, distant from you, and we are hearing you and you know, we are benefiting from you.

Are we included in the virtue that is mentioned in the Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, that those who get together and remember a lot and you know, in one of the houses have a lot in the masjid?

and so on and so forth. Do we get that same reward? So the shares, he replied by saying, Yes, he replied, by saying, Yes, we hope so. Because you have gathered together, and you are listening from the speaker.

Just like people who get together.

And they hear from the loudspeaker, meaning in the masjid, there are people who are sitting next to the chef's listening, but then there are people who are sitting

further away who can't hear him except through the microphone. And perhaps they are in a different room in the masjid.

But they are listening through the microphone, and this and the loudspeaker. So he said, you are hearing right now,

you are hearing right now by the phone.

Like people who hear by microphones and the sound system, so we hope that you will get the reward, inshallah. And so, I say the same thing today that, I hope that

the reward mentioned in this Hadith,

that we all get it. And especially because of the times in which we're living in, where we are not able to even come.

So what the chef mentioned, was, in a time, when those people they could have made their way to, you know, the city where the chef was teaching and, you know, benefited, but they didn't and yet, the chef mentioned that inshallah, we hope that you will get the reward. So how about in the current times in which we're living in where we are prevented from from doing that? And so the bounty of Allah is very vast. And so we ask Allah subhana wa tada to include us in that bounty, and in his virtue and reward.

The fourth lesson that we learned from this

hadith is the virtue of reciting the Quran, and learning it and teaching it.

And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam specifically mentioned that they are people who come together in the houses of Allah, to recite the Quran, to recite the book of Allah subhana wa Tada. And there are so many virtues mentioned in various ahaadeeth

for those who recite the Quran, and so reciting the Quran itself, is an act of a bad even if you don't understand a word of what you're saying, you are getting reward, as long as you do it sincerely for the sake of Allah, to get nearer to Allah, and to attain the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

And so as a prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned for each letter that we recite, we are getting 10 rewards. And then he said, I don't say that Elif Lam meme is one letter.

No. Elif is one letter, lamb is one letter and mean is one letter, meaning that just by seeing Alif Lam Meem. by reciting, you know that one verse, a person goes away with 30 rewards,

and also learning the Quran

and teaching it as mentioned in this hadith. And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said how you can mentor Holloman, or Anwar Lama, the best of you are those who learn the Quran, and then teach it to others. The fifth lesson that we learned from this, from this hadith is

that Baraka

and Sakina

and urashima

these meanings

of tranquility, descending the mercy of a law, you know, covering us, the melodica, the angels of a law coming, all of these things, what we notice is that they are

part of the world of the unseen,

they are part of the world of the unseen, animal Hawaii.

And this world of the unseen is not something that we human beings can detect.

on our own. It's not something material that we can prove

science or through logical reasoning.

But rather, the only way to prove anything from the world of the unseen is by a law informing us of it. That is the only way no one can claim that something exists in the world of the unseen without having proof from Allah subhanho wa Taala, from either the Quran or the authentic Sunnah.

And at the same time, we cannot see that that world does not exist,

as many people today are in don't do angels exists.

Is there such thing as you know, Sakina descending, or the mercy of a law coming and covering us when we can't see these things?

And so,

they claim that because we cannot prove these things, therefore, we can't believe in these things. And so to answer that, we say that there are some things

that are proven through other means other than science, the realm of science, is this physical material world.

And that is where its limit ends.

That is where its limit ends, the limit. And the realm of science is this material and physical world. What is beyond this physical and material world.

science doesn't have anything to say about it.

But rather, the only way we can prove it is

through information coming from Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And it's very important for us to basically teach these concepts to our children, you know,

things like the angels

Sakina, existing tranquility, descending, merci, shaytaan, all of these things are from the world of the unseen, that we need to instill Eman in these things in our children. Because in the world that we live in, it's a materialistic world. And people are, you know, doubting these concepts based on what I mentioned. And so if we want our children to, you know, survive, survive this current atmosphere of doubts concerning Islam and the fundamentals of Islam and its beliefs, then we need to instill these concepts in them from a very, very young age. Finally, the last lesson that we learned from this hadith is that when the angels come and surround us,

it indicates that we are being chased on

because these two creatures, the angels on the one hand, and shaitan on the other, these are two opposites that repel one another. It's impossible for them to come together and be together in one place. So when the angels are descending, and covering us, as mentioned in this Hadith, and the other Hadees

It indicates that shaitan

is, you know going away from us and we are now being protected from shaitan. And this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned how angels, they stay away from certain places such as the washroom

such as houses where pictures are hanging, or the house in which there is a God and so on and so forth.

Also, we have

in the Battle of bedroom,
