a Muslim who is drowning in debt,

and they can't pay off their debt.

And so you come and you help them to pay it off. Or, for example, you may be the one who who lent them that money. And so you forgive them, you pardon them, you say, you know, don't, you don't have to pay me back. These are all different kinds of examples of how one can relieve a Muslim who is in debt. The reward of Allah subhanho wa Taala will make things easy for him on the Day of Judgment. So just like he made things easy for his Muslim brother, or sister in this dunya then Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Judgment once again

And so, one should not go around gossiping about this person saying other things about him that are not relevant to removing that evil, removing that evil that has taken place, the fourth,

being supportive of your Muslim brother,

the virtue of coming together

to remember Allah subhanho wa Taala

And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made these restrictions, why did he make them because, as for domesticated, then there is no doubt that it is the most beloved of places on this earth to Allah subhana wa Tada. And so the masjid is a place of the dhikr of Allah. It is the place of the ADA, the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And so the massages are the best places on earth.

As for the Quran, why did he specifically mentioned the Quran because the Quran is the best form of Vicar. The Quran is the best form of Vicar to recite the Quran.

The best of you are those who will learn the Quran, and teach it.

And learning the Quran and teaching it studying. It

includes not just learning how to read it, how to pronounce it properly, but also learning its meanings and its teachings. And so it's all common, it's comprehensive of both of these two things, and not restricted to only learning how to recite the Quran.

And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned

for rewards for these people.

He mentioned for rewards for each for these people who do these things, who come together

in the masjid

for no other reason than to recite the Quran

and to learn it, and to study it and to teach it what is the reward for things.

And so, let us look at each one of these four things and then let us

mention other Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned these four things. And so the first is that Sakina descends upon them.

And as Allah tala hemos, Sakina

Sakina, tranquility, serenity, this sense of peace descends upon them.

And so we have a hadith in this regard.

And this is the hadith of Al Bara, even as a

rhodiola one that can be found in body and Muslim, the Prophet salallahu or abroad, even as it mentions, that there was a man once reciting surah to calf, and a horse,

a horse was tied with two ropes beside him.

a cloud would overshadow shadow him.

as it as it began to come nearer and nearer that cloud, as it started to come nearer and nearer to him, the horse that was tied up, would all of a sudden start to trample violently, because he's seeing this, this cloud coming down.

And so this man, he came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam in the morning, and he mentioned to him what had happened. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that was a Sakina

That was that tranquility, which descended as a result of your recitation of the Quran.

And so this shows us that reciting the Quran, it causes tranquility and serenity and peace, to descend, to come down upon those who are involved in this great act of a bat.

The second

virtue that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned is

well has yet to mourn,

that mercy envelopes them, mercy surrounds them, mercy covers them up. And so, a little washy in the Arabic language

it means to completely cover something and and the washi is basically a covering like a blanket. So at night when you take a blanket, and you sleep in it, and it completely covers you, likewise, this mercy, it completely covers you.

The third reward is, we'll have fun when women are eager that the angels flock around them, their angels descend upon them and

sit with them.

And in this regard, we have ahaadeeth

mentioned in Bukhari and Muslim,

they call to one another. The angels, when they see a group of people remembering the law, they call upon one another upon the other angels. So this shows us that the angels come down

and surround those who remember Allah subhanho wa Taala had the fourth

the fourth reward of these people is that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions them or de kado, or that Kalra whom Allahu female, and that Allah mentions them in the presence of those who are nearest to him. subhanho wa Taala.

And so what greater reward can a person possibly get, then for Allah subhanahu wa tada to remember them, and to mention them among the best of the last creatures the angels.

And in another Hadith narrated by Maha We are the Allahu and he says, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once he came out upon a circle of the companions, and he said, what has caused you to gather here today and sit together

like the way you are sitting? So they said, We have gathered for the sitting, to remember Allah subhanho wa Taala. And Tim for having guided us to Islam, and for having bestowed what he has bestowed upon us of blessings.

So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam asked them by Allah,

nothing else, cause you together for the sitting, except that. So they said, Yes, by Allah. Nothing has caused us to gather and come together and sit the way we are, except for that. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

I did not ask you this out of suspicion, meaning, I didn't ask you this because I was suspicious. What are you guys doing here? You know, you're up to no good. No, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, I did not ask you out of suspicion.

But only because gibreel came to me and informed me that Allah subhanho wa Taala is boasting about you to the angels.

And so once again, we see that those who remember Allah Subhana, WA Tada,

Allah subhanho, wa Taala, remembers them, and mentions them and boasts about them to the angels, saying, Look at these servants of mine, look at how they are remembering me.

And what we'll do now is we'll go through some of the lessons that we can learn from this hadith. And there are many, but we'll focus on those lessons that

this is not true. And no one will benefit from anyone else, no matter who they are related to. The only thing that you will benefit from or deeds, what you did in this dunya whether it be whatever good you may have done in Estonia. And so that's why even the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will not be able to benefit those who he loved, who ended up passing away upon Cofer, such as his uncle Abu Talib.

And unfortunately, there are Muslims today.

they claim that their lineage goes back to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And they boast about it. They take pride in it, even though you find them to be some of the most distinct from the teachings of Islam.

That lineage alone will help them on the Day of Judgment, and will help them to enter agenda. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made it clear that that is not the case. And so coming to the lessons of the lessons that we learned from this hadith

The first is a general lesson

related to each of the six points that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam mentioned, where he mentioned a deed and action. And he mentioned its corresponding reward, what do we notice? What do we notice with each of these actions?

What we notice is

that a reward, with a loss of kind of with data is always proportionate to the deed that we do.

You relieve a hardship for someone, Allah will relieve a hardship for you. You remember Allah, Allah will remember you and so on and so forth. Not just what has been mentioned in this Hadith, but throughout the Quran and Sunnah you find that the reward is always proportionate and similar in kind to the action, the good deed and likewise with regards to with regards to bad deeds.

And so, there are various punishments mentioned for various kinds of bad deeds, especially the major sins

and you find that they are similar in nature, to, to the action the evil deed that the person did. The second lesson that we learn from this hadith

houses of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam described the masjid as being the house of Allah

in the Quran and Sunnah, whenever, whenever something is attributed to Allah subhanho wa Taala. It is one of two things.

Whenever something is attributed to a lot that this is something of Allah,

then it is one of two things, either it is an attribute of Allah,

such as Rahmatullah, the mercy of Allah

or it is not an attribute of Allah but a creation of Allah.

A creation of Allah and the reason for why it is being attributed to Allah is out of honor for that creation, out of honor for that creation of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So the Kava is referred to as Baitullah,

the house of Allah, out of honor for the Kava.

The same with all of the massage, they are referred to as Will you have a loss of Hannah who were to Hannah? They were referred to as the houses of Allah.

And so this shows us that the masjid is honored by Allah subhanahu wa tada when he attributed it to himself.

The third lesson that we learn

from this hadith is the virtue of coming together in the masjid

to remember Allah subhanahu wa tada

to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala had

to learn

to study and to teach the book of Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

it's obviously with a lot of grief that the current times that we are in we're not able to do that

where we had the first lockdown many months ago and now as we speak right now

Now we are we are in the second lockdown that has been extended. And we asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to

relieve us of this hardship and this difficulty that is coming that has come in our way.

But the question now here is, and I'm sure this is a question on the minds of many of you.

Do we get the same reward mentioned by the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam in this hadith

while sitting at home,

listening and watching,

you know, this conference and benefiting and learning

or not.

they asked him on that telelinks, they asked him

We are now far from you, distant from you, and we are hearing you and you know, we are benefiting from you.

Are we included in the virtue that is mentioned in the Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, that those who get together and remember a lot and you know, in one of the houses have a lot in the masjid?

and so on and so forth. Do we get that same reward? So the shares, he replied by saying, Yes, he replied, by saying, Yes, we hope so. Because you have gathered together, and you are listening from the speaker.

Just like people who get together.

And they hear from the loudspeaker, meaning in the masjid, there are people who are sitting next to the chef's listening, but then there are people who are sitting

further away who can't hear him except through the microphone. And perhaps they are in a different room in the masjid.

But they are listening through the microphone, and this and the loudspeaker. So he said, you are hearing right now,

you are hearing right now by the phone.

00:37:48--> 00:38:02

Like people who hear by microphones and the sound system, so we hope that you will get the reward, inshallah. And so, I say the same thing today that, I hope that

the reward mentioned in this Hadith,

that we all get it. And especially because of the times in which we're living in, where we are not able to even come.

So what the chef mentioned, was, in a time, when those people they could have made their way to, you know, the city where the chef was teaching and, you know, benefited, but they didn't and yet, the chef mentioned that inshallah, we hope that you will get the reward. So how about in the current times in which we're living in where we are prevented from from doing that? And so the bounty of Allah is very vast. And so we ask Allah subhana wa tada to include us in that bounty, and in his virtue and reward.

The fourth lesson that we learned from this

hadith is the virtue of reciting the Quran, and learning it and teaching it.

And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam specifically mentioned that they are people who come together in the houses of Allah, to recite the Quran, to recite the book of Allah subhana wa Tada. And there are so many virtues mentioned in various ahaadeeth

for those who recite the Quran, and so reciting the Quran itself, is an act of a bad even if you don't understand a word of what you're saying, you are getting reward, as long as you do it sincerely for the sake of Allah, to get nearer to Allah, and to attain the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

And so as a prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned for each letter that we recite, we are getting 10 rewards. And then he said, I don't say that Elif Lam meme is one letter.

No. Elif is one letter, lamb is one letter and mean is one letter, meaning that just by seeing Alif Lam Meem. by reciting, you know that one verse, a person goes away with 30 rewards,

and also learning the Quran

and teaching it as mentioned in this hadith. And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said how you can mentor Holloman, or Anwar Lama, the best of you are those who learn the Quran, and then teach it to others. The fifth lesson that we learned from this, from this hadith is

that Baraka

these meanings

of tranquility, descending the mercy of a law, you know, covering us, the melodica, the angels of a law coming, all of these things, what we notice is that they are

part of the world of the unseen,

they are part of the world of the unseen, animal Hawaii.

00:41:14--> 00:41:22

And this world of the unseen is not something that we human beings can detect.

00:41:23--> 00:41:29

on our own. It's not something material that we can prove

00:41:31--> 00:41:35

science or through logical reasoning.

00:41:37--> 00:41:58

But rather, the only way to prove anything from the world of the unseen is by a law informing us of it. That is the only way no one can claim that something exists in the world of the unseen without having proof from Allah subhanho wa Taala, from either the Quran or the authentic Sunnah.

And at the same time, we cannot see that that world does not exist,

as many people today are in don't do angels exists.

Is there such thing as you know, Sakina descending, or the mercy of a law coming and covering us when we can't see these things?

And so,

they claim that because we cannot prove these things, therefore, we can't believe in these things. And so to answer that, we say that there are some things

that are proven through other means other than science, the realm of science, is this physical material world.

And that is where its limit ends.

00:42:56--> 00:43:06

That is where its limit ends, the limit. And the realm of science is this material and physical world. What is beyond this physical and material world.

science doesn't have anything to say about it.

But rather, the only way we can prove it is

through information coming from Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And it's very important for us to basically teach these concepts to our children, you know,

00:43:33--> 00:43:34

things like the angels

00:43:38--> 00:44:28

Sakina, existing tranquility, descending, merci, shaytaan, all of these things are from the world of the unseen, that we need to instill Eman in these things in our children. Because in the world that we live in, it's a materialistic world. And people are, you know, doubting these concepts based on what I mentioned. And so if we want our children to, you know, survive, survive this current atmosphere of doubts concerning Islam and the fundamentals of Islam and its beliefs, then we need to instill these concepts in them from a very, very young age. Finally, the last lesson that we learned from this hadith is that when the angels come and surround us,

it indicates that we are being chased on

because these two creatures, the angels on the one hand, and shaitan on the other, these are two opposites that repel one another. It's impossible for them to come together and be together in one place. So when the angels are descending, and covering us, as mentioned in this Hadith, and the other Hadees

It indicates that shaitan

is, you know going away from us and we are now being protected from shaitan. And this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned how angels, they stay away from certain places such as the washroom

such as houses where pictures are hanging, or the house in which there is a God and so on and so forth.

Also, we have

in the Battle of bedroom,

a loss of house Subhanahu wa tada tells us how a police came. And, you know, he had promised to aid the moose raccoon.

And when he saw the angels he fled, he ran away. Why, because of what we mentioned, that these are two opposites that repel one another, they can never be together in the same place at the same time. So when the angels come and surround us, as mentioned here in this Hadith, then it indicates that we are being protected from shaitan. And so

you know, this is one of the this is a great Hadith that mentions the rewards of those who come together

to remember Allah subhanho wa Taala and recite the Quran and study it and learn it and teach it We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make us from among them, and to allow us to get the reward that he has mentioned that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned in this Hadith, that we attain that tranquility from Allah, and His mercy and the angels surrounding us. And that he so Hannah, who were to Allah that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned us among the best of gatherings and that is the gatherings of the angels. With that we conclude whatever
