And the man that we are covering today, is probably one of my favorite biographies in the entire series, because he has literally become a footnote in the story of the most prolific narrator of Hadith in history of the Hodeidah alone the amount of time. But his story in and of itself, is absolutely legendary. And we're going to learn Subhanallah

so much from the twists and turns in his own life and the miracles that happen in his own life as well as his dedication. And I think before I get into his story, it's just a reminder that it's one thing to have noted influence, it's another thing to have noble impact. And this man likely gets the budget in our lives on a daily basis, and most of us do not know anything about him except maybe the story of how he called a war aid or the Allahu Taala and hope to Islam. And that man is to fail even amor a dosi, or the Allahu Taala and how to fail even a dosi to fail in your armor. The no rain, the possessor of two lights? Why was he called the possessor of two lights?

Primarily because he's the only man in history to have married two daughters of the Prophet salallahu Salam he married okay got all the one hand she passed away. So these are things that we're going to reflect upon, obviously, when we see it, but it's it's specific to this tribe that the Prophet slice I mentioned, a sign of the Day of Judgment in them. And of course, that could be in their descendants and their larger tribes, so some of their descendants still reside in Arabia. the chiefs that are coming from the neighboring tribes, take them to the side, tell them all these horrible things about the prophets of Allah Azza wa sallam, so that they will not be affected by the Quran. Now, he in particular, was very feared in regards to his Islam, because if he becomes Muslim, obviously he gives a certain Heemeyer a certain type of protection to the prophets lie Selim. it severs an alliance with Qureshi, he also is an eloquent spokesperson for Islam. Should he embrace this? No. So he comes from Yemen, he comes from Amazon. So he said, So I removed the the cotton from my ears, and he said, I started to listen closer to what the Prophet slicin was saying. So he said, firmer InDeck What do you have? What is it that you're actually teaching? What are you reciting? So the prophets lie some recite it to him. So little fella Subhanallah think about that. So he read to him some of the Quran and obviously parts of the Quran are seeking refuge in Allah subhanaw taala from the things that the prophets like some supposedly was. So he read to him some of the Quran and to fail around the Allahu Taala and who was completely blown away

I said to him, how do I accept your religion? How do I become one of your followers? So the Prophet slice and I'm told him the shahada taught him how to see a shadow Allah and Allah shadow under Muhammad Rasool Allah, and he put out his hand he said, I extended my hand to the prophets I said, I'm I held the hand of the prophets. I saw them and I gave my

harder, and I gave my pledge to the Prophet sallallahu Sallam until fail is an intelligent man. He's also a powerful man. And he also assumes that once he gets back and tells us people's people are going to become Muslim to because of the presence that he has. So this is still earlier on in the Meccan period, where it's really, you know, verbal propaganda against the Prophet, slice alum, whereas they're attacking his weakest followers, only his sloth was stolen.

So he says, I'm having an argument I had I mean, do you have anyone who's Muslim back there? Do you? Do you really trust that you've got people back there? So to fail Rhodiola and who said I thought about it. And I said, some I said to myself, now I really don't know. If I'm being honest with you. I don't know if I have the protection for you if you come with me to number one. So he said that let me go back to them. And let me call them to Islam. Call Allah and Allah and yeah, dear home, so it may be that Allah will guide them and he said, y'all rasool Allah, odor Allah and yadgir Annalee Aya, O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to give me a miracle to give me a sign for Karla salAllahu

alayhi wa sallam, Allah Azza wa Jalla who I attend to her in who? Oh Allah, give him a miracle by which you will support him.

He doesn't know what it is. So he said, For Karatsu so I left I didn't talk to Abu Lahab I didn't talk to anyone else in Makkah, so he didn't cause any commotion, right so they're making the assumption that he's done his Hajj he's done his shopping, he's done when he has to do and now he's going back to to Yemen. So he says, I went back to my people, and I went alone, hut, hut, Ashraf to Allah Thani Yachty call me until I got to the Valley of my people. Wherever you who Naka che Han Kabir, WA, Marathi. Well, well are the so he mentioned that, you know, I had my father and old man, my wife and my children and they're there. They're, you know, over that valley. And he said that

So what was his nickname? The news, the possessor of light, that's his nickname. So imagine he gets to the valley. And suddenly there's a light that's shining from his head. And this was the idea that the Prophet slicin made you out for now he said to himself, as powerful as that is, and obviously you wake up and suddenly you have a light that's shining from your face. He understood what was happening. He said, Hola. Hola for you, Lady when she Oh, Allah let it be an other than my face. Why? He said for any action, and you'll know and Muslim. If Irati Dini him, he said, I'm afraid that my people will think that this is actually a punishment or something that was given to me because I

left their religion. So I'm afraid they might actually misinterpret if I have a light that suddenly shining between my eyes, that something bad has happened to me that I'm being made an example out of, because I left their religion. So he said that to hell, Willa, for water Phyrexian solidly So it moved, the light moved from my face, and it moved to the top of my cane. So he had a stick, and he had a light on it. And this is one of the Catamounts one of the miracles that can happen to people obviously, count on that. salaam had a similar miracle, and you will find that righteous people, sometimes Allah azza wa jal has blessed them to have a miracle as a proof in in a way that resembles some of those. So he explained to him

And then my mother, as well. She came in, she found my father. And she said, what happened? What is the slight I explained to her what had happened? And she became Muslim as well. So both of my parents had become Muslim. He said, I went to my wife, and the same thing happened.

I said, Let's do it. Whereas the money, I'm not from you, and you're not from me, she said, Why? Why are you saying that? He said, I became Muslim. And I followed the religion of Mohammed slice I'm she said, what is that? So I told her about Islam? She said, But will the shut off? Which is an idol that they had? Will he harm us? If we embrace Islam, see, there are superstitions. So if I leave the religion of my people, are we going to be harmed? And he said, Well, Allah, He lent you the key, I swear by Allah, it will not harm you. And she repeated it again. And I repeated it again. And she repeated it a third time, and I repeated it a third time, and I said, Go and bathe yourself, and it

will not harm you. So she went and she bathe herself. She did the wholesome, she came back. And now his father, his mother, his wife, and his children, were still little at the time, they're Muslim. So he thinks now, now let me go to my people. And they're going to become Muslim to so far this is going exactly as you'd want it to go to fail over the allotted time. And who said somebody out there was an ill Islam? I call those to Islam. And all of them rejected me.

except for

a handful, or except for one, just a handful, like a little bit. Few people that listen to my message.

And one of those was a young, poor Shepherd, orphan Shepherd, named chumps. Who is that

of what he called the law? I know, isn't his name was actually the slave of the son of the chumps. So he embraced Islam with me, everybody else rejected and the implication of the narrations that maybe one or two other people, so he's got his family, and he has an orphan Shepherd, poor orphan Shepherd, who will be allowed to go to the shops. And that's it. So he kept trying with them.

And it didn't work. And he is getting frustrated with his people. And he keeps on trying different ways. And he's and he starts mentioning his favors, you know, me, you know, my standing amongst the, you know, my nobility amongst you, I'm telling you, this man is a prophet of Allah, I'm telling you this religion is the religion of truth. They did not want to embrace Islam, not because they didn't think that to fade had a compelling argument. Why didn't they want to embrace Islam? Because they were afraid of the moral implications of embracing Islam. But what about the party? What about all the stuff that we do? So we're not going to give up all of these other things. And obviously,

certain things are haram at that point, certain things are not but you can tell this is an ethical religion that's going to require you to change your ways as a tribe. And so dose rejects to fade.

They don't reject Him as their Chief, but they reject the religion.

And to fail, said I tried for some time. And then he comes back to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he's got this little orphan boy, shepherd. The only thing he has to show for himself is his father, his elderly father, his elderly mother, his wife and this little orphan child that he's coming to the prophets lie Selim ovaherero, the Allah Tada and who he says, I met the prophets like some of the first time he said, Where are you from?

I said DOS, the prophets I said, I'm said not calling to Allah NFE Dosen ahead and V higher I didn't know those had good people in it like people that had good in them, meaning people that were embracing Islam that's what he meant by that slice alone. Like, wow, okay, a child from dose. To Fail comes to the Prophet SAW Selim.

And to fate says to the Prophet, slice Allah, Ya rasool Allah, I called them to Islam.

For Hala Bala Dosen, as Xena would rebel, but dose was overcome by their adultery and their usury and interest basically their dirty practices.

They couldn't see the truth because of their practices. This message is too ethical for them and to fail says to the prophets line Salem, federal Elohim go ahead and make dua for a lot to destroy them.

Now imagine this is a chief of a tribe who's saying I tried everything with them no chance no chance ya rasool Allah make dua against them

now but I don't know the Allah Tada and who is mentioning the Prophet sly sums hands go up

prophets lie Selim was more merciful to people even than their own chief in this regard. And he turns to two fatal the Allah Allah and who and he says to him, Jerry that comic for the room and Allah waterfall could be him. Go back to your people. Call them to Allah, and be gentle with them be lenient, as you call them to ALLAH SubhanA Hotel. So the implication here is that the first time to fade when he invoked his power over them, he invoked his like his status over them like I'm your Chief, why are you rejecting this religion you know better.

So the prophets lie Selim is telling him to go back and call them with riff, call them with leniency call them with gentleness and about I don't know the Allah Tada and who is the one who narrates the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, in Allahu Rafi when you hit bereft, Allah is gentle, and Allah loves gentleness while you're at it he murder your to Allah and Allah gives through gentleness when he does not give through harshness. Allah gives through gentleness when he does not give through harshness. Subhanallah what a lesson in Dawa today.

Right? Shout someone down, humiliate them. What did you What did you achieve? Break them? What did you achieve was that the message of the Prophet sly, Salah Oberth Nana and I was not sent as one who curses in the labyrinth to Rama was sent as a mercy to the people. And that's what the prophets lie some is calling us to be as well. Now did the prophets lie. So don't ever make that against people? Yes, but it was when they were actively in place of oppressing of harming. And so the goal of the DUA is to restrict them in their harm, to hold back their harm to stop their learn to stop their oppression. That's what many of the elements say. And they say that even if that's not the sub, if

that's not the main reason, still, every single time you find the profits, I'm finally making you out against the people. It's when they have reached a certain stage in their oppression, a certain stage in their wrongdoing in their harmfulness, that they are people who put out violation after violation after violation after violation. Prophets I send them said Allahumma had the Dosen what to be him. And Allah gives their gentleness, what he does not give through harshness, go back to your people to feed, try again, try a different way. So go back to them this time, no light in your hand, nothing particularly miraculous, give them Dawa in a gentle way. So he said, so I went back to them.

And I called them again. And this time, the implication is that he spent some time with them, calling them to Islam. It's not easy. We all want the Dawa, to succeed and 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes. It took years, right for him to get his people to come on board. But at the end of it, he had about 90 families from dose embrace Islam.

So he said so I went back to my people and basically he was between the Prophet sallallahu Sallam in Medina and his people in DOS. So he mainly was still amongst his people calling them to Islam, Abu Huraira or the Allah and who still was with him as well and DOS calling them to Islam. And he would go see the prophets lie some occasionally in El Medina. So he said so I missed brother and are hurt and then after 100 Duck, I brought 80 or 90 families with me from dos to the prophets license. So this was the answer to the dua of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Allahumma de Dosen what a TB him Oh Allah guide DOS and bring them to me and so 8090 families is a big deal at that time.

Right for 8090 families to come from a different place. And to resettle in a strange place is very different.

volt And subhanAllah many of them out here when they mentioned this as a side note, they talked about the difficulty of Hijra at the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, back then you don't make Hijra like this, unless you are fleeing persecution or something significant is happening. The trade routes are seasonal.
