So we're not just going to look at certain areas of the surah or focus on a particular subject. We're going to go literally every single verse of this beautiful surah and we're going to do our very best to explain to you all the lessons whatever narrations and ahaadeeth and ESA or statements of the stuff that pertain to specific verses, we're going to share as much information as we possibly can be the Lehi, Tyler, every single episode in sha Allah will have the A yet that we're going to explain. So some episodes might have more than one

yet, but the point is, you'll have that as a reference for you. Secondly, today is going to be an introduction to the sutra as well as a verse number one. So verse number one in shout, Allahu taala. We'll get to that, but it requires a ton of different things that we have to talk about. So with that being said, We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to put Baraka in our time, put Baraka in this journey in sha Allah and cause it and cause it to be a means for you and I in sha Allah, Allah that we uplift ourselves, we learn something about this beautiful way of life, and most importantly, we gain the pleasure and forgiveness and love and acceptance of our Creator. subhanho wa Taala will be

Now I do have my poor and with me so if you ever from time to time see me glancing downwards, obviously I'm looking at the most half I have a table set up in front of me. So let's begin. So if any of you have any tips of how to catch a bee, without getting stung, then by all means, share some of that inshallah. Now the second name for suta nahan is sorta near and sorta neram. So it's a sutra with noble praise and noble reward and blessings. So two main names. Now here's the thing about names with sodas. Usually, when you find when you come across a

name, the name is connected to a reference point in the surah. So it could be a specific subject that's unique to that surah. In other words, there's no other chapter of the Quran that we'll talk about that reference point except that Sora. So immediately, you use that as the name. And secondly, the names vary. And so scholars all have different names for different suitors. So just because if you hear a different name doesn't mean like Oh, what is he doing? He's making up a different name. No, their reference points. So you capture something unique and special about that sorta, and that's what you name the sort of after. And of course, all of these names come from the Prophet alayhi

salatu salam, which ultimately comes from a last panel with our item. So they started this propaganda against the messenger, or they saw it was so um, so essentially, that's where Islamophobia began. And so that was the setting that

was the stage that was set for this particular sort of, now, scholars differ when this sort of was actually revealed, but it seems like when you consider the content, that it was revealed closer towards the hijiri period from Mecca to Medina, so we're looking at somewhere between maybe the ninth 10th 11th 12th or 13th. So at least somewhere on the last five years of the Mexican phase, this soldier was given, we don't know an exact specific date or year of the scholars had different on them. Now, here's what's really interesting about disorder. And this is where you're going to understand why I chose this sorta suta Tannahill gives us all of the tools that we need to cope with

hardships that are associated with being Muslim, not the hardships of just life in general, specifically, you are part of this oma, you are Muslim, you pray you fast, you dress a certain way, you have certain choices, you live a certain lifestyle, but as a result, that has brought on to you a sense of discrimination. You've been marginalized, you've been targeted, you've been the central focus of media and propaganda. Does this all sound familiar? It almost feels like that this surah was revealed in 2020. But that's why I chose the sorta so that it would help all of us to understand that everything that's happening is part of a loss plan. I mean, that's easier said than done. It's

easier for you to say that to understand what that means. But secondly, here's what I have to do. And here is how I cope, in the midst of all of that hardship, if I want to be Muslim. And keep in mind, I've met non Muslims, many times who had an interest in Islam, but they were afraid. They were afraid because of the negative attention and the propaganda and all of this sort of thing. So they were just simply afraid. And it was just something that, okay, I'm not ready for it. I don't want to do that anymore. Or maybe later on in my life when I'm just about to die or get old or what have what have you. So that's what this sutra is going to be all about. Now, there are some narrations

that talk about specific incidents, why this chapter of the poor end was revealed. So I'll share with you a couple of them. Number one, some of the scholars mentioned that with respect to specific individuals that were being tortured in Mecca. So you have Bilal, you have the mayor, you have oral haber, you have sohaib, or the loveline home like these individuals, when they became Muslim, they were tortured, they were beaten, they were brought out under the sun and all kinds of things were done to them. So the point here is this, when they were going through this torture, in the back of their minds, they would think about and the Prophet alayhi salatu. Salam was told about this, right?

And when you spoke to Bilal and others, they would tell him yellow sutala, when is this going to end? Like, when are we going to When is it going to come to an end that we're treated this way? You know, we want to just practice our religion, we're not harming anyone, we just believe in one creator, and we want to pray and we want to express that spirituality that we have from within we want to show that in our life. So why when when is all of the hardship and the pain going to stop? And this is when the soldier was given. So the sorter was given in response to the question, when is this going to end? So that's the first seven bit news or reason of Revelation. The second one is the

would say, well, we don't see any indication that the end of the world is coming anytime soon. Then a third incidents happen, the same thing continues. First and foremost, Allah says, Atta, those of you that know Arabic, you know, eta is a past tense verb. So the future is already the past with Allah. So in other words, Allah is saying the Day of Judgment, the command has already been put, it's already in the record. Books, it's already been specified at a particular time. CASE CLOSED, it's happening, it's coming. And that's why you don't see it tomorrow, or you don't see it next Friday, or you don't see it any other, you don't see it

when you want to see because why it's been already situated and recorded at a specific time. And that's it. That's what Allah subhanho wa Taala chose. Now, there are a number of things that indicate in this world that the day of judgment is coming, the most obvious of them is time, we don't have control over it. And time only has one direction, it just goes forward, we can take back one second, we can just stop it for a minute, you can do nothing. And so scholars say that the one of the most obvious indicators that the day of judgment has been appointed at a specific date and time is the fact of how Allah designed time itself, the concept of time, you know, the concept of

time is something we will never understand, no matter how we try to twist and turn it. It's just one of those areas that we could never truly understand. We'll never know why in this part of the world, it's nighttime, but maybe for some of you where you are, you're about to go to bed after this video. So and then at the same time, you know, Allah subhana wa tada says in another part of the world, and had these quotes see that he descends at the third part of the night. And he asks for whoever is asking for my forgiveness, let me forgive them, etc, etc. So he's descending in one part of the night. But then in another part of the world, it's daytime, and then in another part of the world,

it's just you know, early night period. So it's a concept we will never understand. Then in the theater, there is no concept of time in the sense in comparison to what we have now. So, one day, the day of judgment is equivalent to 50,000 years. So this concept of time just doesn't exist in the data as we know it. But in this world, it's a concept we'll never truly understand. We just don't know how that works. Now, that being said, a moral law. So we know now it's already been done, the day of judgment is coming. But what Allah tells us next fella to start julu Don't be in such

Rush, Don't be in a hurry. In another soda. Allah says, Holy insulinoma, Nigel, we created human beings of their nature is that they're always in a rush. You know, they're always in a hurry. In other words, it's our nature as human beings that we don't have patience, we have to develop that stuff, we have to learn how to be patient, we have to train ourselves to be patient. So that's why that particular verse as well as this, Allah is saying, just slow down, it's, it's coming, it's gonna happen. And this is why it is verses like this, where some of the scholars said, Do not ask Allah, Allah bring the day of judgment as soon as possible. Yes, it'll be I want to be alive. When

the day of judgment comes, like just bring it to me, it's not a doctor you should make because why the matter has already been taken care of. It's at a specific time. So you asking Allah to rush that and make it quicker is not going to make any difference, because it's been specified already fell at the start, you know, what does this mean to you and I so don't be in a rush. Now, think about what it means and what it feels like to be Muslim in 2020. what it feels like to be of a you know, amongst a minority, so whether it be religion, whether it be race or culture, just the fact that you are marginalized in any way, shape or form in your life, what that feels like, you know, the things

that people say, and just get away with it, the propaganda that's out there, and it just continues leadership, certain leaders around the world that would have targeted individuals, or groups or religions or cultures or certain people.

The point is, is that, even in leadership, they can do all of this creates so much chaos, people's lives are lost. And they life just continues for them. They continue with power, they continue with status and authority, then even on an individual and personal level, if you've been in a bad marriage, and but to your spouse, he or she was able to just move on, but they lied against you. They took you to court, they destroyed your life. They destroyed your kids, your family. Now you have no job. You're a single parent, you're struggling every single day, and they're living the high life off of your efforts. You know, your expense? Like Is that fair? When is this all going to end?

And every time you ask for people like what do I do in a situation? What How do I handle this? They'll say, just have trust in Allah. Make dua to Allah, Allah will take care of this. Just wait, be patient, be patient. And I know that's a hard thing. And no, that's a hard thing. But this area, Allah subhanaw taala tells us to be patient in a different way for that to start you in. So don't be in such a rush. A lot allows the rope to be loose for some time until he snatches these individuals who are unjust to people and to mankind. Their time will come be vanilla. So don't be in a rush. Now, the last thing I'll mention and then we'll finish up this a how do you do that? You know, it's

easy to just say don't be in a rush. But your heart could still be racing, your emotions are all over the place. Your whole life is unstable. So you're just like God, I just, I don't know what to do. I know I'm not supposed to rush. I know the Day of Judgment may not happen tomorrow. But man, I can't live like this. This is just too much for me. I'm going through too much. Well, that's what the whole religion is all about. This entire religion is to keep us calm. Until the Ember until the command for the Saira the day of judgment will come. That's what life is all about. That's what the connection with Allah or God Almighty, that's what that connection does. It keeps you poised and it

keeps you under control. And then finally Allah continues and he says subhanho wa Taala I'm now usually called Praise be to be to Allah. And now you should come because of what they used to do in terms of associating with Allah subhanho wa Taala. So then it gets the A gets very specific here. Now it's directly talking to the machete Cohen, the idol worshipers and it's saying to them, you know, you worship the statue you worship in an item like a tree, you worship an animal, you worship all of these different objects and things. bring all of those idols that you used to worship and tell it to do something now. So if you worship did because it would cure you. Now make it cure you if you worship did because it could help you now

May could help you on this day, if it were if you worshipped it, because it would provide for you or strengthen you and heal you and do all of these things. Now make a do all of those things today. And that will be the challenge on that day. And Allah subhanho wa Taala says, that part of the lezzy I lay him will help. So those who will be given permission to speak on that day will try to respond, but it's, but in fact, what's going to happen is that they'll confess that, yeah, yeah, rob the or my master, I used to worship these things. So we'll go from, don't be in a rush for the Day of Judgment. Number two,

we're going to challenge all the idols and statues and things you worship. But then tomorrow, it'll go into another subject of the angels and their purpose, and then it'll go into certain animals. Now, all of these things are linked together, how, stay tuned in sha Allah, Allah, that's all they want to share with you today. Bismillah hytera Allah. So this is our first episode, our introduction to this beautiful chapter of the quarter. And what I would encourage all of you to do, especially those of you who have the time and you're going to remain with us or even if you're going to listen to this later on, have a translation of the quarter and in front of you. speak, every language you can think of, is online and it's accessible.
