The Persians looked at the casualties now in this one battle, and if we remember the number of casualties Muslim usually suffer, it's usually maximum in the hundreds. Now the largest battle before this was the Battle of Vienna, when Muslim lost that 1000. And the Battle of a desert Muslim lost 4000 fighters out of 10,000 fighters 40% of the Muslim army was killed on the other bank of the river. The Persians despite their overwhelming power, and their victory in that battle, they lost 6000. So the Persians still lost basically more than the Muslims due to the fierce fighting of the Muslims at that river. And because of that, they did not cross to the other side, the Persians did

not follow, and the Muslims and and within that, were ready to defend the other side of the bridge and the other side of the battle, and the Persians did not dare to cross over. And that was also one of the heroic moments of that important battle.
