biologically, geologically, the fact that you can understand the how does not tell you the why

does it you understand how it works, but it does not tell you why Allah created it this way. Why is it that Allah causes eclipses to happen? Why is Allah causes volcanoes to erupt and the earth to shake?

Why is it that Allah has even put it exactly in that same in that particular area? For this particular person, but not the other to be affected?

The Y can only be explained by Allah azza wa jal. So understanding how does not exclude or negate the why. But if the thing causes you to rebel and be angry and stray away from Allah azza wa jal, then that was not good for you. And it is a calamity. But It all depended on how you reacted to it. So rather than focus on What did Allah want from this focus on how we react to it, and that is in your hands, if you ask Allah for assistance and patience and insight,

that is the first thing that should be noted, don't be stuck with this, but move on to that. The other thing is, is that that question is this punishment or a test

assumes that the two are separate. And in fact, a punishment could be at the same time as sine of the Mercy of Allah azza wa jal.

You see how

What are you really asked when you ask this question? Is it is it that Allah hates me? Because of this? What does he love me? That's the real question. Not the punishment, or the test.

So when you see something like that happening, and in fact it keep can keep happening or repeating an affliction after another, you need first of all to revisit yourself and say, I need to repent. And as an individual, and we say, we need to repent and ask Allah azza wa jal for his forgiveness, to be righteous, to be able to do what he pleases and stay away from the Haram because if not, then Allah's reminders will keep coming one after the other one after the other. And if we do not pay attention, then a greater calamity can come and visit. Now I reminded of something that is attributed to Aisha Radi Allahu anha. When somebody came and he asked her about the calamities that people witness and she said that of the Allahu anha she said that these are reminders that Allah has sending to people so that they understand that they need to

quit their sins. And if they do not stop Allah will demolish them. So that person asked he says, oh, Aisha Oh, Malmo meaning is this other, a punishment from Allah azza wa jal. She said, What are the Allahu anha it will be Rama and motori. The for the believers and a punishment for the Kufa is that there will be mercy and a reminder for the believers and a punishment for the kuffar. So even the same thing could be two different things for different individuals.

So when we witnessed that we nearly add need to ask ourselves How is my sada?

How was my Zika? How was my Ramadan? What are my plans for Hajj if I did not go? How am I with the haram? How am I with Allah's obligations? Because here Allah is telling you that the most secure thing that you have in your life, the land that you step on, that's not secure. He tells you that the things that you can trust in your life you cannot trust. So how are you with Allah azza wa jal before your soul departs?

Sometimes when you're religious, you think I've got it all. I've memorized the Quran I've done this and I've done that and you do not witness that you have hidden neglected sins in your life and mind.

You have hidden sins in your

Heart in mind, you have cable you have hesed you have to have one. You have envy you have this and you have that.

You neglect certain duties of Allah azza wa jal because no one sees you, and you excel at certain duties because they are public.

You don't notice the mistakes that you have until Allah forces you to look again at your life and say, You're not as good as you think. You're not as good as you think. Humble yourself before Allah azza wa jal and know that without Allah, you're a batter will be nothing and your righteousness is nothing and it is he who blesses you with that path, not you. You're not righteous because of you. You're righteous because of Allah has his origin, so attributed all to him. And Allah azza wa jal also wants you not to depend on rely on the dunya

Imagine yourself again, trapped under the Bri. And no one can assist you except whom

see how trivial and small the dunya is, see how quickly it can collapse. See how everything that you own can turn into dust.

Now understand that the only thing that remains is your iman Allah for Allah azza wa jal and understand that rather than focus on this dunya this world spending for it, living for it, worrying about it, and ultimately it's going to perish. Allah azza wa jal wants to pull you away from that, and into the akhira.

That's the thing that lasts. And that's the thing that matters. And that is the thing that deserves most of your attention, and most of your money, and most of your time, spend time on the dunya. But understand that everything that you're working for are all you building, if this dunya ultimately will collapse. So you want Allah azza wa jal to guide you to the hereafter. So think about what you have seen. And think about a person who's pleading with Allah azza wa jal and be that person before you're actually physically that person who'd only had our stuff in Allah and he would have.

But sometimes these thoughts creep into our minds, especially if we are very emotional, and the person who's asking these questions. It's like a person who has read the first part of a book the first half of the book, but stopped before ending and

reaching the conclusion. You cannot understand the intent of the author. You cannot understand what the book is about. If you read for only the first few chapters, and you don't follow the plot.

You don't follow the book until you read and understand the conclusion itself and what happens at the end and only then would you understand the entire book and the entire intent of the author. So, when you see somebody die or see somebody suffering, and that is the only thing they can think of, or the only thing that you can see and imagine, of course, you will be sad and of course, you will be destroyed. But if you understand that a person who dies in a manner like that is a Shaheed in the sight of Allah azza wa jal, then the story is very different.

Are they going to be regretful, you will be crying, but they will be happy with Allah has did you do not see the whole story? When you see what is happening on this earth? That's why at the time of Rasulullah sallallahu Alia was in them when some of those Sahaba were killed. And the Sahaba were so sad because of it. And those Sahaba they spoke to Allah azza wa jal, those who passed away they spoke to Allah azza wa jal, and they said, Let our people know that we have met you and you are happy with us and we are happy with you. Let them know that we are happy, so that they are not sad anymore. So the sadness is not the sadness for the dead, if they are martyrs with Allah azza wa jal,

and the sadness is sadness for the living, who have not yet achieved this who are being tempted by the dunya who may not reach that level. Every one of us wants to be a Shaheed is if Allah chooses you if he selects you to be a Shahid is that a cause for sadness?

Of course, right? You feel sad for those who are left behind? And that is where you and I have to intervene? It's a why do these things happen? Because Allah wants to extract mercy from you and me. He wants to see what are you going to do? And what I am going to do?

Are we going to sit behind and do nothing?

And Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said to me, you will move to California and you should do Babu Baba, the believer to the believers like a building they support each other culture said, it's like the single body. If one part is hurting, the other part aches for it, it moves for it. It tries to save it.
