Allah subhanaw taala in these three verses and this is not continuing one from the lecture that we had last time, which spoke about the situation of the Arabs in general and duration in particular, before the coming and the birth of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the political, religious socio economic situation that the Arabs used to reside in.
In the Quran, Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't allude much and doesn't mention much of the early years of the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam the early years referring to the first 40 odd years of his life, before he became a prophet of Allah,
those 40 years in the books of sila, you will find narrations and you will find many generations and you find an outline and details concerning those 40 years where the profits on a low while he was selling was born, how he grew up his marriage to Khadija rhodiola Juana and a number of other incidents that took place in those 40 years. But in the Quran, the Book of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is very interesting, Allah subhanho wa Taala. Nowhere else in the oramo very rarely, anywhere else in the
Quran is mentioned made of those early years from the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And there may be many reasons for this and Allah subhanho wa Taala knows best. But perhaps from those reasons is because those 14 years are not really important in terms of the context of the Quran. Because the Quran came to establish the tawheed of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And he came to establish all of the principles and all of the things that are important in order to achieve that objective and that goal, the tawheed of Allah subhanho wa Taala and so therefore, those first 40 years because there was no Islam, there was no Nobu, where there was no Prophethood there was no
message that was given to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam there was no and they are less important. And so therefore Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't really mention them, he skips them by in the Quran. Allah subhanho wa Taala perhaps from the other reasons and wisdoms that they are not mentioned, is because Allah subhanho wa Taala does not want to detract from the focus of the remaining 23 years of the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam because there is those 23 years that we as Muslims, as an oma, those are the 23 years that we need to focus on concentrate on what took place from the moment that he became a prophet of Allah, until the moment that he would
pass away salallahu alayhi wa sallam, these three verses in Surah to Doha, and there is a context behind them. And so they give the different order of how chronologically the Quran came down from the earliest revelations in Makkah, in the early period of Islam from the earliest revelations was sort of to Doha. And the reason why those first five verses of surah to Doha will reveal Mashallah will mention in a different lecture of forthcoming election insha Allah, they also pertain to the life and the scene of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam but generally, just very
briefly, they pertain to a time when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam thought that revelation had ceased, Revelation had stopped, for no apparent reason. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to seek contentment and used to enjoy receiving the revelation of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And as you can imagine, just for us to recite upon on when you understand and contemplate the Quran, the sweetness that you feel, the contentment that you take within your heart, just from being close to the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala imagine how much more it would be worth those verses to be revealed upon you directly from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam used to enjoy and look forward and yearn for the Quran to be revealed to him. But a time came and stopped, seized for a number of days. And then Allah azzawajal revealed those first verses of surah to Doha. After those first five verses Allah subhana wa Taala to show how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would never be abandoned by Allah. Allah will never forsake Him, let alone doing worse than forsaking him hating him or leaving him or abandoning him. Allah subhanaw taala says alemi aged care team and for our did a lot of find you as an orphan. And then he gave you shelter. Did you not find you as an orphan referring to what the childhood of the Prophet sallallahu

These three things that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned are the three things are the three roles that any guardian or parent or carer plays when it comes to their children. For those of us that have children, our role as parents falls under these three things. Number one, is to give our children a safe environment, to make sure that they have a good home, to make sure that they
have everything that they could need that is comfortable in their home a place to sleep, make sure that the house is heated, warm, make sure that they have enough, enough of those things that they need to make it a comfortable living place. That's the first thing that a parent does. When it comes to a child, you provide them a suitable and a safe environment from which they can grow. The second thing that a parent does when it comes to a child is that they give them guidance and advice. When your child grows up, and they go through especially their formative years when they get old enough to understand and comprehend. They reach the ages of 789 and then other growing up. That is the time
that as a parent to impart your advice on them. Do this, don't do that. Take this option, don't take that option. We from our parents believe this is better for you, this is not better for you. And you give advice you try to guide you try to help. And the third thing that a parent does is that they provide for their children, food,
clothing, money, those things that a child needs in order to grow up and live that life. These are the roles that are apparent please. Allah subhanaw taala obviously isn't the parent to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Allah subhanaw taala isn't in that relationship with any of his creation, for Allah subhanho wa Taala is far above and high and far above all of this. But still if you look at those three verses, and the three aspects that Allah subhanaw taala mentions, as Allah azza wa jal cared for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in these three ways. They still fall under that same remit, and that same type of discussion. Allah subhanho wa Taala is saying that he
is the one forget his father, mother, grandfather, uncle, anyone else before all of them or any of them. Allah subhanho wa Taala was the one who protected His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and Allah zildjian was the one who guided the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and Allah subhanho wa Taala was the one who provided for the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam protection provision and guidance. They
came from Allah subhanho wa Taala before any human hand had a role to play in it. So Allah subhanaw taala tells us and gives us a glimpse at the early years of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as Allah says was an orphan. When he was born, his mother passed away. She died at the age of 39. His mother, his father passed away whilst his mother was pregnant with him. Amina was pregnant with the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam. His father, Abdullah died before he was born. And so he grew up or he came into this world he was born as an orphan. Because in the Arabic language the word year team often means the one who has lost their
father. In English, we normally call an orphan, someone who's lost both parents, but in Arabic, your team is someone who has lost their father. So even if their mother is alive, they're still considered to be an orphan. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was born as an orphan, and he grew up as an orphan, and his mother would die whilst he was only six years old, and then he would come under the guardianship of his grandfather, Abdullah McCollum, only for two years and he too would die when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was only eight years old, and then as we know, he came under the custodianship and the guardianship of his uncle Abu Talib, in those early
years wants to his mother was still alive. And this shows how Allah subhanaw taala when he is saying in this in these verses, that he is the one that gave shelter and protection to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is not the way that a parent would give shelter to a child, meaning that Allah subhanaw taala didn't build for him a house or do anything like a normal parent would do. When Allah subhanaw taala gave guidance to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it doesn't mean that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was upon shirk, because the prophets of Allah even before they become prophets of Allah are safeguarded from schilke, the safeguarded from that type of evil,
but he means that Allah azza wa jal please things before he made his path, easy for him, so that he would reach that position where eventually Allah would bestow upon him the prophethood and the message of Islam and Allah azza wa jal provided for him not in the way that a parent would give you food or drink or clothing, but a larger which are provided for him in Fall greater wings. him to the path that he wanted him to follow. subhana wa Tada. larussa withdrawal says that he was an orphan during that time, and he was an orphan, whilst his mother was still alive. It was the common practice of the Arabs,
that they would send their children to the desert so that the Bedouins could look after them. And they would stay in the desert for a year or two. And they would grow up and be educated at the hand of the Bedouin alums. Why? Because the Bedouin Arabs used to live in the desert. We're known for the eloquence and the pristine Arabic language. And they were known to follow the ways of the old Arabs. They didn't live in cities, and they were overcome by the city ways and the way that the city folk normally live their lives. They used to live on their own, and so the Arabs will send their children and they will be successful there. And at the same time, they would grow up learning the pristine
Arabic language. So as young children, two three years old, this is what they will do for two or three years. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was no exception. His mother sent him to a woman by the name of Halima, Saudia haleema became his witness. And she had other children as well. This was her job, this is what she did. She had other children also that came from different families, and a group of those children were under her care. In Sahih, Muslim, the hadith of nsep man he called the Allah one. He says that was the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in the care of haleema. And he was playing with one day he was playing with the other boys that were also
under the care of that same woman Halima. As they were playing Jubilee rally his salatu salam came to them in the form of a man and we know from the Quran and we know
Authentic Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that Allah has given the angels at times to take the form of men. They have that ability. They can come and they can appear as men, on more than one on more than one occasion. After Islam the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam met gibreel and Sheba his Salaam was in the form of a man. Anyway, gvrd Sanam came in the form of a man to these group of children, these boys once they were playing,
and he came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he picked him out. And he came to him, and he made him lie down, I placed him on the ground. And then he opened up his chest, and he took his heart out.
And then he said, and he removed from his heart, something black, a black substance, and he said how the how blue shape Bunnymen. It's traumatic at the best of times, they go and run to the wetness, their mother Halima and they say to her that Mohammed is dead, someone just came and killed him.
In the Mohammed and Mohammed is dead, someone's killed him. So she's obviously worried because this is a child under her care. She ran and she found that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was alive and well, but he was pale. Something that happened but she didn't know. And the only thing that she had to go by was the testimonies of four and five year old boys, six, seven year old boys. So she became afraid and she took him back to his mother and she said, I don't want your son with me anymore. I can't look after him, take him back. jal was preparing him for revelation and preparing him for the message of Islam. And this is why when a large visual says that I found your way you will not an orphan. And a large soldier is the one who gave you protection, where you will not miss guide and Allah is the one who guided you. Will you not poor impoverished and a large student is the one who provided for you. It doesn't just mean in materialistic terms, doesn't just mean in terms of sustenance of food and drink, and the way that we would normally look after our children. But rather Allah subhanho wa Taala is saying that a large majority is looking after him in far greater ways. Allah subhanaw taala his care and protection for
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam began many, many years before he received revelation and he became a prophet of Allah. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala prepared him for Prophethood one of the other reasons and wisdoms behind the story and behind this incident is so that many years later on when the prophet SAW Selim did become a prophet of Allah, the orange would have no excuse to reject Him, because they wouldn't be able to fault his character. And that's why from an early age, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was safeguarded from sinning and safeguarded from evil, the evil acts that the people of grace would normally perform, and he was safeguarded from shock. Because he
for the first 40 years of his life, he had performed sharp worshipped idols, worship those Gods alongside Orosz, then all of a sudden one day, turns up and says, No, that's wrong. This is something which doesn't make sense. How can you worship these gods? Perhaps those people would have said to him, but you used to do exactly the same thing. For 40 3040 odd years you've done exactly
To be the same thing, and now all of a sudden, you've had some light bulbs switch on, they could have said this to him. So Allah subhanho wa Taala protected him from this. They could have said, for example, that for 3040 years, we know that what you've been up to drinking fornicating doing this doing that this is what you used to do. And now all of a sudden, you claim to be a pious man, you claim to be a changed, man, we don't believe you. So instead, Allah subhanaw taala preserved the honor of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And he safeguarded him from this evil.
And that's why it's mentioned in some narrations of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam never partook, he never took part in any of the lewd and evil actions that the people have or issues to do, and what was prevalent amongst them. And there is even a narration that says and there is some difference of opinion over the authenticity of this narration, but some scholars said it is authentic, where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that I never did any evil that the people of Piraeus used to do, except that on two occasions, I was tempted to do so. And the process of settling before he became before he reached the age of 1011, he used to be a shepherd, as
mentioned in Sahara behati, where the prophet SAW Selim said that every prophet of Allah that came was a shepherd, used to herd sheep for a period of time. The brothel center was a shepherd for some time, he said that whilst I was a shepherd, there were other boys who were shepherds alongside me. So I said to one of them one day, that tonight I am going to go to Makkah, and do as the other men of McAdoo, meaning engage in their evil actions. And so he said that I went to Makkah, and I saw that the people were celebrating a wedding. And in this wedding, they would have music and they would have drinking and people will fornicating around the boiler, they will do all sorts of evil.
And so he said, the proper setup said that I heard and he was a young boy, I had all of this commotion going on, the people were celebrating. And he went to have a look like a curious boy, he does goes to look to see. And then perhaps if things are carried on, partake, but Allah subhanaw taala had preserved and saved him. So the Prophet Solomon said that when I heard the music, I sat, I sat there listening to it, I fell asleep. Didn't even go into See I just fell asleep. And the only thing that woke me up was the heat of the sun of the morning. So we just slept through the whole thing. And he just slept there. And it was only because the day became so hot that he woke up and
realized where he was. So he went back to the ship. And his friend said, what happened last night, the professor sent him said nothing. But I'm going to go back tonight. Second occasion, you went back again and again, there was a celebration or some type of festivity. And again, the process and the Monte to see and hear, but again, as soon as he heard the music and the sound, sleep over came in, and he fell asleep. And he only woke up when the sun of the morning the heat of the morning came and struck him and saw the process and then went back and his friend said what are you doing what happened? And the Prophet seldom said to him, nothing happened and he ignored it. So this is one
narration that says that shows that the Prophet is seldom was safeguarded in this way, he will save God and Allah subhanho wa Taala didn't allow this to become an excuse late one. But both of those reasons, were non existent when it came to the Quran and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. The Orion made complete and perfect sense to them from the point of view of the Arabic language, and from the eloquence and the beauty and the poetic nature of the Quran, and they were unable to rival it in any way nor take any mistake from it. And the man who had bought the message meaning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They knew him and they knew his father before
him and his grandfather before him and his great grandfather before him, and they knew where he came from, and they knew how we grew up. And they knew how he came to be a man. And they used to even attest to his character and his honesty and integrity, and truthfulness. But now all of a sudden they rejected him. And so a lot so Intel says MLM yadi for so long. Did they not know this man who came to him didn't or know where he came from? Do they not know his family, his background, his upbringing? What reason do they have of suspecting him of being a liar of bringing false speech to them, of asking them to believe in something which is wrong? And so Allah subhanaw taala shows how
by preserving the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam throughout his early years, Allah subhanho wa Taala will take away this excuse from the people of Porsche, but not only from the people of Piraeus. In fact, throughout the Quran, we find that Allah subhanaw taala mentions that the prophets of Allah who came before him, they predicted and they prophesized that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would eventually come.
And that's when the Hadith and read about it Maasai are the Allah and the Prophet said, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that it was written in the Book of Allah, in the preserved tablet of Allah, that I would be the final of the prophets of Allah, I would be the last of the prophets of Allah. And this was written before Adam was even created from clay. Whilst he will still clay before he was even created, Allah had already decreed that the prophet SAW Allah He will sell them would be the final and last of messengers, and then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, and I will tell you where this began from, indeed, my forefather Ibrahim may do for me, and the Prophet rissalah. gave glad tidings that I would come. And when I when my mother gave birth to me, she saw a vision that there was a light emanating from her that would illuminate the castles and the houses of a sham all the way in Syria. She saw this and this hadith is authentic has been authenticated Bashar Al Burnie and others Rahim Allah wa Taala. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is saying that not only do Quraysh know him from his background and his family and so on, but Allah subhanaw taala preserved his mentioned he prophesized that he would come many years before this many generations before this, the prophets of Allah, all of them knew that a messenger that the final messenger would
soon come, they just didn't know when he would come. They didn't know if they if you would come in, in their time in their generation, or whether he would come at some later date. And that's where loss of Hannah darlin Salatu Baqarah, when he speaks about the Prophet, Ibrahim, and he said, I'm the daughter of Ibrahim, that the prophets Allah mentioned in the Hadith. It is mentioned in Surah Al Baqarah, where Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam raised the foundations of the Kaaba, alongside his son is meriel Ali, his Salatu was salam, and the ways that they built the Kaaba, and then Ibrahim alayhis salam made a number of duels for Makkah, and for the inhabitants of Makkah. And from amongst those
vowels is the he made a dua, that a Prophet would come in Makkah from amongst the people of Makkah. Allah subhanaw taala says, or ogburn, our birth fee him rosulip min. Whom you have to know early in your attic, while you are Lima, humulene kita hikmat, our user came in, tell us hours is on hiking, oh, my lord. And these two houses four or five girls that are mentioned in this passage of the Quran, Ibrahim alayhis salam for each one of them. He begins by saying, oh my lord, because in each one of those two hours, he makes two for something new. All of them is all of them pertain to McCann, the people of Makkah, but each one of them is something additional and new for macker, or
for the people of Makkah. And that's why from the etiquettes of dwara, is that when you're making dua for something new, even if the context and subject is the same, you repeat, calling onto Allah by his names and his attributes of Hannah Medina. And so he said, Oh, my Lord, son from amongst them, a messenger who would come from them.
Who would come and he won't we cite your verses. And He will teach the people the book and wisdom and he will purify them. Indeed, you are the one who has all might own wisdom. So Ibrahim alayhis salam made to have a look at how he says over law, send amongst them a messenger who would come from them. Twice. He says this, to emphasize the same point that this messenger on prophet wouldn't come from outside of Mecca number one, and number two, that he would be from amongst those people.
Meaning from the people of Makkah from the tribes of Mecca from the lineage of that same group of people. And so some of the scholars say that the reason for this is Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam indirectly is making dua for his own children. Because it's made out of history, Moses son, and he was settled in Makkah. And he wanted the honor of having this prophet of Allah who would be the greatest and final messengers of Allah, to be from his lineage, to be from his children. And Allah subhanho wa Taala, responded to that.
And he also made the dryer that he should be from amongst them, so that those people would have no excuse to reject Him. This man wouldn't be a stranger or a foreigner amongst them, he would be from them. And so they would have no excuse in rejecting Him. And also at the same time, because he is from amongst them, he will understand them best, and he will know them, and he will recognize them and what they need, and therefore he would be able to give that to them in the best of ways. And that's what Lauren's the witch of whenever he sends a prophet to any nation or any group of, he says in the Quran, he always sent them with the language from them that Prophet came from amongst those
