Trip to Pakistan – Short reminder

And inshallah I'll try to cover as much as I can. And hamdulillah I went to Pakistan for the calf when I reached there and hamdulillah the people in Pakistan are amazing. People were

saying to me, don't go to Pakistan, the you know, this is going to happen, that's going to happen and you're going to get killed, you know, the combined they're going to kidnap you and ask for money and bla bla bla bla bla and I was a nun and and I just went, and you know, when I actually went there, and I realized that people actually respect you for being an Imam, or for being a share, however, maybe they actually respect you. And they don't only respect myself respecting anyone with a beard. But my thing is that the day that you have to go into your grave brothers or sisters, you're going to have to go into your grave, it doesn't matter where you are, how you are, you can be

in the safest place in planet Earth. But when you need to die, you're gonna die. cologne of sin that I get almost every single person on the face of this earth is going to taste death. So how can we run away from us? Oh, boy, it packs up because you think you're going to die? I don't think it's the case. We should go to Pakistan, it is our country, we should go there and see our people there our culture and our so certainly people think that Pakistan has no religion. I think that's false. Pakistan has a lot of religion. Other thing is that, from the recent incident that took place in the hallway, or you know, it was made out as if Muslims went and killed all the Christians in that

famous little place in Lahore where they were there was a bomb explosion. I also think that was incorrect news, which we were provided with. But that's something that happens every time the news come out or something. But however, what I realized, and the reason I'm saying this about the bomb explosion is because when I went into a place called Johnny Rockets, there was a nice burger place.

Our friend, my really good friend, we call him out of love honeybee. He took us to Johnny Rockets. And when I went there, it was the month of Ramadan. And there was some quality type of thing playing. I had music in the back, and I asked the brother, I was this month of Ramadan. You know, we're about to do Sorry, can you just switch it off? And he replied to me in English, and he went, Okay, brother, brother, no problem. So I looked at him and I went, Okay, I was where were you from? He was I lived in America for a couple of years, and I've moved back to Pakistan. Why did you come back from America? He goes, I just didn't like it there. So I came back to Pakistan. I don't Okay,

and it goes. And then he goes,

I'm Christian. And I looked at him as shocked. And as a warm up Christian, and you came back to Pakistan, apparently, you guys were killed the left Ray center, he was not alone. And he was, he goes, we live amongst them. And they they're nice with those just as much as nice with.

They're nice with us and be nice to them. And he actually said to me that there's a village somewhere in Pakistan that in their neighborhood, there's more Christians. So what the neighborhood the Muslim population, Muslim people in that village have done is that they had a mosque, but the Christian people didn't have a place to go to worship. So the Muslims helped the Christians build the church within Pakistan. So this shows you that we are not all criminals. We are living by tolerance, peace, which our religion teaches us and Pakistan I believe that that's what I seen. There may be some cities or some villages that we go to we don't see that. But if you need to go

when you go to Pakistan, don't go tiller to India, to tailor to villager. Go to somewhere, which is a city where people are neutral. Like for example, going to Glasgow is one thing and going to Loch Lomond is another thing. Glasgow you meet everybody, Loch Lomond, you meet a certain man or a certain amount of people that have the night live the way they live, and they all live like that but Glasgow is like multicultural of USA they everyone lives according to the way they want to live and it goes on etc. So that is something when you go to PAX and go to these places, so many people you can meet. The other thing that I've seen there in insha, Allah May Allah subhanho wa Taala Give me

the opportunity to do something about this, which we are trying inshallah I'll bring it later on in the coming years. Is that in Lahore?

You have people traveling from Jayla milipol. You have people traveling from all parts of Pakistan, to Lahore, to work to provide for the families. And you know how where they sleep. They sleep on the streets, there was a massive roundabout, and believe me, I'm not exaggerating, there was approximately over 500 people sitting on the roundabout.

Want to ask them in quiet? What are they doing? They're all homeless as they got jobs, but they don't have enough money to get somewhere to stay because they sent all the money back to their wife and children. So there's a lot of hard working people in Pakistan. And the reason now we're going to the reason why I went to Pakistan I went to PAX after it took off or hamdulillah I spent time with my chef as a minor as a Rahim diamond barakato. I spent time with him and I felt really really good. I learned a lot from him.

I mentioned a few points which he kept emphasizing on the people in the masjid Mashallah, they were brilliant. The winner the way to not only for me the winner the way for anyone that was a person in the Gulf, there was no kind of chaos, there was nothing It was all actually very organized. And it was amazing. Actually, we had the place to play that RV which was it was opened from the top. So we had one day sunny and then we had complete thunder. So we had rain and thunder at the same time. So Alhamdulillah dude, these things were happening in Pakistan and I really enjoyed my time I went to GLM as well my family my family were shocked to see me and you know I went different places and 100

we went around everywhere. Now

as a chef further Rahim Damnit, Ricardo mentioned a few points I mentioned some one was in it the coffee kept mentioning to us is that read as much as quote on as you can read as much as Quran as you can. And you know the love I seen that He has for the Quran. Do you want something Are you not feeling well, like the full Quran you're going to stand next to me really will take me hours and when really seriously, you won't hear it will take me hours. Then we started Allahu Akbar. These are hamdulillah have been alameen all the way to oneness. We finished that one last eight hours. It took them to complete the whole Quran in surah. And, you know, he didn't do it because he wanted some kind of fame. He done it because he wanted to please

his grandfather, that Look, I know the whole Quran by heart with only a few mistakes. It was amazing and the boys only 1617 is absolutely amazing. Absolutely amazing. So that's the love he had for the Quran. The other thing he also kept mentioning us mentioning to us devote yourself to Allah subhanho wa Taala ask Allah Subhana Allah for forgiveness. keep on asking Allah Subhana Allah for forgiveness, never miss your five daily prayers. We have situations in Pakistan. And today, I will narrate a small story to you. And the story is a woman came to me at my mom's house.

She came and asked, Does

mowlana zohaib or shoot zohaib live here? And my mum said, Yes. And I was in the bathroom. But just by coincidence, I was at my mom's house that day. And I went out, I didn't recognize women, but she had a suitcase. She had just came from Birmingham Airport, she got a lift from one of her cousins. And they came to Glasgow, and she came with a chopper. And you could tell that this woman has been through a rough ride. And she's came to my door. And now she's asking me that this is a person that used to live across the road from me. Where is that person today? Do you know? So I looked at our, our Auntie, why do you want to know who lived there? She goes, listen, very carefully. She goes,

there is a woman that used to live in that house.

That is my daughter. I have not heard her voice for 14 years. I'm here to see if she's alive today.

I am not lying to you. I'm not making up the story. It brought tears to my eyes. I then made some calls of where that family went, I actually knew I knew them. Find out the move just down the road. I went to the house. First I spoke to the father of the house,

as in the father in law, and I said to him that, you know, breaking family ties, and joining Family Ties is the biggest reward in front of Allah subhanho wa Taala. We should come close. And I was this a woman that's claiming that there's a daughter in your house that is her daughter? And she's no Sina. Is this true? And he said, No. You can bring the women out. So I went okay, maybe the guy's been genuine. The women seen the man pushed me pushed him went inside, the daughter came running down from downstairs, and they hugged and kissed for about 15 minutes. I don't think that women, that daughter left any part. She kissed him on his feet or hands or face or hear everything. It just

didn't stop. And they were crying and crying, crying. And then the whole house got heated and the family was swearing at me. Why did you bring him here? Why did you bring her here and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, Look, I'm just here to bring families together. And that was it. And then I just left. And at the end, the mother came back to me after five, six hours of conversation with the family. And she said, Well, son, I just wanted to know if my daughter was alive which Allah subhanaw taala through you got me to that source. And now I know she's alive. But that the decision that the family came to, if you want to be with your mother, leave your children

and go back to Pakistan. And if you want to be with your children, tell your mother to go and have no contact with her and stay with your children. Why are we putting our mothers, our sisters in these positions today? Allah subhanho wa Taala Singh himself, whoever joins families together, whoever brings families together, Allah subhanaw taala say wait till the Day of Judgment and see what your reward is an a person that breaks family ties and is sitting in a gathering because of that one individual. It can be the case that no one's do or may be accepted because the person is breaking ties with family and there are other stories which can go on with but I just wanted to tell
