sir, we saw before will agenda. So you asked us to rate to rush and run and raise those agenda and to seek your forgiveness from Allah Subhana Allah. So Allah wants you to always come first. Because what about race anyway? Other than coming first?

If I ask you a question, I'm sure that all of us had this opportunity when we're younger. I don't know about you guys living in the city, maybe you don't have that opportunity to get together very often. But living in a space where you have lots of kids in one neighborhood, we always enjoy this kind of

the kind of game that we have to establish in the community. And one of these beautiful games we all had is race. We used to race. How many of you played the game when you were younger? veterans? Come on, don't be shy.

Boys and girls, perhaps boys, they love that more than the girls. Why? Because the girl the boys they love.

They love to come first. Sister they might you know, run together. But the guys they want to be first. Eventually. What is the best part of the racism and can you tell me what's the best part of the race? When incoming first right. And what is the worst part of the of the race?

Can you tell me coming class, right? Wrong.

Coming second. That's the worst part of the race. You know why? Because you're all you're almost there. Barely in there. And you missed

And you start blaming us if I just pushed one more, if I've done one more, if I don't know,

So the prophet SAW on his right side, which is a priority, in this case, a young boy, he took permission from him to give it to the city. So he asked him, he says, Yeah, hello, my dear God, do you mind if I can disrupt your scene? So the point he said, Yes, I do.

And the professor said, eventually, why is that he goes, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna make it up. I'm not gonna give up all of this opportunity drinking after you tell anybody else.

So the professor says, Let it be done, and he gave it to him.

I am what you might say. But this is disrespectful. How can he do that? How would we do this? It's an opportunity for him to take the blessings after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Wiley, and he took his chances. The brothers are gonna be happy with it, just like that. But he took his chance because he did not want to waste that opportunity. Because you wanted to be the first person to take after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. In another example, the same vessel, along with the Prophet saws and passed away, he was a young boy. Now Now imagine now you had the opportunity to visit Medina, after the Prophet services passed away. And you did not attend, you

didn't have the leisure, of seeing the process or about the levels. And if you go to Medina, whom you would be looking for to ask you questions. Can you tell

you we're looking for him to ask you a question.

Are they older or the younger?

You look for the seniors, such as you.

And those now names that we all hear about being the seniors

who's going to be gone to an ambassador home on one day, we're still 1918 years old. Now we know them by name, because they became very famous for us. But back then, they were just they have kids. And if anybody wants to ask a question, they would go to the elders, not to these young ones,

was one of those Sahaba young ones who make themselves busy learning and go on to to the seniors. So you would go and spend the day sleeping by the door.

And when my dad wakes up, and he sees out in our past, perhaps, without seeing it as he walked out of his door, and he says the cousin of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said is sleeping there and this with the one that sweeping the dust over him, he was surprised. He says, what do you do? And he goes,

why don't you call me I will come to you. And

he said, No.

We were taught that we should come and travel to the knowledge, the knowledge of medical interpreters. So he

said that example as one more as I've been

This is how we should learn from our teacher or Allah. at yourself. People gonna ask you any questions. He said when I heard this statement from them, I left him. I stopped my contention with him because he's not discouraging me. All these senior Sahaba they just passed away. And now the people they got to come and ask questions. They're

the ones who had the knowledge of the seniors.

So he saw that I pass surrounded by hundreds of 1000s of people around him asking questions, and he was answering and so on. And that I'm sorry, but if not take that initiative with that opportunity. He just like anybody else on this block. So when he looked at him, and he looked at him, and he says, In the this young boy, hello, Hola. He was very clever. He was very clever, because he knew what's going to happen in the future. Basically, he knew that this would pick up a virtual reality, people were going to come and learn from them. So you take opportunities and chances never missed it to those of

you go and you listen, you learn, you grow in knowledge, and you don't really manage all of the work.

Another example to show you this now edited was a habit

of taking chances.

You guys know that the story of Aladdin. And that magic lamp

wasn't about animals. It's basically Europe, that old lamp, and the genie comes out. And the genie gives you gives, let's say one wishes granted. If you are given this opportunity, what would you wish for?

I'm sure all of you probably would maybe will be hasty and you rush into something. Or maybe we'll come tomorrow someone to think about the services.

That's a wish granted, means you don't have to think it over and over again before they give you that wish. Otherwise, if you choose the wrong one, because whatever this opportunity, here's this young Sahabi his name was Carl Rogers.

Lastly,

he was a freelance, but he was an attorney with the province of Ontario. And we took an opportunity to serve the province of a lot of salon for free. He wasn't asking for anything, he just the prophets, Allah, Allah Subhana, Allah, it's an honor to have that opportunity to serve the prophets of Allah, it was in him. So he was serving the prophets, Allah who said, I want you throughout the entire journey. And then one day, just like on the journey about to end, he was bringing woo for the prophets and the water for the prophet to make the purification. Now, when the rubber sauce, I'm finished, he looked at him. And he said, he asked him, he says, sell, which means ask for something

I want to, I want to reward you. And that's exactly the meaning of I want to give you our grant your wish, what would you like to have asked me for something? Now, if you were in that position, whether it was sort of like a salon salon, what would you wish, oh,

that was just like 1 billion, trillion dollar opportunity. It's not even you can't even give it any value.

Now that the prophet SAW said was given this young man and opportunity, you can ask whatever he could ask, you're sort of like, I want to have this camera. I want to have this house. I want to do this, I want to do that. He could ask whatever you want to ask for. But he has such a very high aspiration.

Now an opportunity he didn't want to pass up. He said jasola holding the Monaco gotta test it and gentlemen, I want you companionship,

which means I want to be with you. And

you know, what does that mean? If this was granted to him, what would that mean? He would be in the highest level of agenda, ultra doses Allah the 100 level of agenda, he would be in the capacity of not just Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam

in the highest level of reward

for the prophets of Allah to send them looking at him. Perhaps he did not see the quality that qualifies him to that level. And he didn't want to embarrass them will say no, I can give that to you. He told him

Is there anything else that I can really get a grant for you is simply basically I don't have that in my hand. It's not in my hand to tell you

You're gonna be here over there. So can you ask me for something I can either give you? He said, Yes, Allah, that's what I want. Which means whether they give me this or Thank you very much.

Now civil law,

he couldn't give

me the last time, but he gave him an answer that helps me and you and because of the Baraka of this man, we all enjoy the same equal opportunity to be with a man of gender. And what was the answer to this? He said, so

he then banned me, because of this helped me to assist you get there by making a lot of stuff. And that means to pray a lot. Praying a lot. How can you pray for them? They're only five obligatory prayers. It's not about the Salah. It's about the optional one. How much nightmare? Do you mean? How much do you have during the day? You do great. How much sooner do you make? That's what it counts as extra courage for you so that you will be qualified to get to that level was sort of like

this young man, he was given this golden opportunity he didn't ask.

And hamdullah we are getting the blessings of that answer.

Another example, the mother of kindness for the loved one, the prophets, awesome. Allah Medina.

He didn't have an official sermon. So Oman's he had she had her young boy and us and he was only 10 years old. So she took him down. So a lot has a lot to do. So.

There's no speak of you.

Why don't you make him your server? So the professor said, We accepted that. Now he's a young boy. And he's now a free man, a free boy, actually, how could you just enslave yourself to this? Now she knew that this will be the blessings that she didn't want to pass off to anybody else, she took an opportunity. And the prophets of Allah kind of accepted that he accepted us to serve the purposes and for 10 years, 10 years, it was in the service of Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam as a reward. The problem is

that metal last time put Barack and his age and his offspring. Anna's was one of the seven Sahaba were the last to die. From the generation of the companions, he survived the past 100 active age almost. And he they say that he died during his lifetime, we've added more than 100 child of his own offspring, when he gets children, grandchildren, and so on. Don't ask me how perhaps they have triplets and and more than that, but eventually he had some money. And that's part of the moniker the last half list in this young boy.

Now, what we learned from this, actually, that we see these consistent values, like us,

and others, they became the leaders of the community afterwards. And we have learned some qualities from them. Or the other model, which I would like to share with you over here. If you really would like to get to that level, if you would like to get to that level of being all was first, then you have to learn these three things, these three techniques that we learned from them. And that's these are the qualities of the true leaders, through leaders, they actually they share these three qualities. Number one, they are action takers, means they take actions, they don't react, they have. So they always look for opportunities. They don't wait for a person to come to them. They always

look for these things, and they go after them. And I just said at the beginning of this talk, I said there are two opportunities, you have two chances, one you've already missed. And the other one you don't want to miss, as well, the one that you already have, is no longer a chance. It's reality. So in other words, if you're going to be satisfied with reality all the time, you're not going to move forward with anyone. But if you truly would like to advance, then you're gonna have to focus on what is next. And how can I make my next step actually more profitable, and more important, I also have been challenged. And so you need to take an action. Look at yourself. You're in school right now,

it's time for midterm exam, or take an action or just waiting for the exam to come to.

If you're not taking their actions, then eventually if you don't do well, don't blame anyone but yourself. Many of you come to me and they say chef, does that come up? Can you help me get married?

The first question, I tell them, are you ready for marriage? And for them? This question is just like an abstract. Because they have no idea. What does that mean? So they say I think

so I said, Tell me what does it mean to you what it means to be ready. I asked them, did you finish your school? They said no. Okay, they have a job that is stable. Well, I can I can shout out a word part time, you know, with McDonald's.

So okay, Michelle, number three. Do you have this? Do you have that eventually, one day

Talk to me, they don't even have any clue. What does it mean to be ready? Why? Because they're not taking action.

Perhaps they don't know how to take action. But at least the point is that they're not taking the right course of action to move on forward, they're not trying to be first ahead of their game. They're just satisfied with like anyone else, most of these guys actually come to the school, and they spend it for years, and then two, three more years after

graduate school and so on, and waiting for the right time to get married. They don't try to make it, they don't try to make it, they don't try to create the opportunity by the will of Allah subhanho wa Taala. By taking that spouse, if you would like to have a better opportunity for life, I've been talking to many people about, you know, moving down south where it's warmer than near New York. And many of them, they seem that they don't like to move out of their comfort zone. I said, if you don't take action, then and you see that situation is deteriorating is too expensive for you over here, it's too cold for you, you don't know how to grow too much, and so forth. And guess what, you're

gonna die like anybody else who did nothing. But if you would like it to grow, you need to seek opportunities and take chances. And those who take the chance, the first chance, perhaps there will be always ahead of the game, instead of just waiting for opportunities to come their way. So number one, you would like to take an opportunity Always remember to be an action taker, you take the action, you don't react to things because when you react, you're not going to be the first person to take that action, the cause of action after that. But if your goal was ahead of the game, then

you will find out yourself follows ahead of everybody else, that's an indication that any bother in marriage, in finances and everything tied to their tax ID. Number two, what we learn from this, when it comes to taking actions.

One thing that is very important is to learn the etiquette and the techniques of the art of making decisions.
