Salam aleikum. Che I would like to ask you about qurbani when we go to the Hajj, any specific things to do? Smell our hamdulillah salatu salam ala Rasulillah Salam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatu.
When it gets close to Hajj, you will find that many Muslim charities and many Muslims are aware that the importance of a particular act of EVA which was an emphasize sunnah at the very least of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and that is to offer a sacrifice, the qurbani or the Oba here.
Now, there were some rulings important readings for us to be aware about the affordability but before we get into that, we want to think about the Hajj itself.
And if you think about the Hajj, that great pilgrimage, there are many things, many elements and practices of the Hajj, which go back to and have the origin connected to the Abu Ambia. the fault of the prophets, Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam, Ibrahim, who was an ummah, who was an individual who was a nation unto himself, Subhan Allah, Allah He salatu wa sallam, in that he with his son, Ismail Elohim, salaam, they established the power, or the routing of the building of the cabin itself, the establishment of the house of Allah subhanaw taala. We know that when the dream came, and the command came to Ibrahim nslm, to sacrifice his son Ismail, for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala.
Only for a larger level Allah to change that at the very last moment, knowing and seeing, of course, the Ibrahim alayhi salam was going to fulfill the commandment of Allah subhanho wa taala. So when this sacrifice is made during the Hajj, we remember the sacrifice that Ibrahim alayhi salam, the sacrifice he was willing to make. And we remember the SOP the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the sacrifices that he made during his life. So when the sisters when thinking about the Carboni, those who are able to financially have this done, we would say that it is not befitting for any Muslim to leave it. It is one of the great acts of a bad for us to arrange, or for us to engage
in ourselves during the days of Hajj.
So the hadith of Abu Musab al Ansari or the Allahu, and that the Prophet alayhi salatu salam would have they would hear slaughtered at a particular time, and that he would eat from some from it. And he would give away as a gift, the other part of it.
And we know that the Prophet Araiza Salam in the Hadith, which is certain Buhari as well,
that the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam told us that we should perform the order here
for the one who was able to do so, even though there was a strong view Subhanallah to say that it is could be an obligation, if you have the financial means to have the Quran arranged that you should have it done. So this is concerning the ruling. Now, as we mentioned before, that the order here is the sacrifice of an animal and that is to be arranged. We're not talking about the one who is performing Hajj by the way, we're talking about the one who's not performing Hajj the one who does not perform Hajj the one who's performing Hajj has their own rulings inshallah Tada, but the one who is not performing Hajj, then they themselves if they purchase an animal, and then they sacrifice the
animal themselves to keep some for themselves and the distributor others to maybe some poor people, that is the optimum situation, but if they cannot do that themselves, maybe there are some restrictions, then they can arrange for a Korbinian over here to be done in another country where the sacrifice is done after salata eat, and then that meat is distributed to the for oral and Moroccan, it is distributed to the poor and destitute. Now, whatever situation that you are in, that it will involve you purchasing an animal. Now what animals will be purchased and will be slaughtered? Well, we want to three animals, but we either will consider them one type a goat or
and then it is either a cow or a camel
as for a sheep or a goat that it has to be at least six months old.
And that this one sheep or one goat that is sacrifice would be sufficient for one household. So that household is made up you know a husband and wife and some children for example, it is considered one household that one sacrifice is sufficient for them or if it is the father who has arranged that then he is the one who is subject to
refraining from clipping his nails and his hair as further away from the children, they would not be subject to that, because it is the husband who arranged it.
What about if the household they want to arrange more, more than one, maybe to do two or three, that's absolutely permissible in China to add, they can do as many as they wish and shadow Tyla bearing in mind the animal that is used.
I also mentioned that a cow and a camel can be used. But remember with regarding a cow SPL is two years old, and the camel that is sacrificed has to be at least five years old. Now with a cow. It is of course for greater in size as as a camel than a sheep or a goat. So a sheep or a goat is enough is considered like one share one animal one share. As for a cow and a camel, they are considered to have seven shares is enough for seven. So you could participate and purchase one share from seven in that cow. And similar to a camel, okay, and that one share is equal to in terms of its fulfillment as the goat or the sheep. So there are a number of a number of options that a Muslim can offer the
court Bernie or the other here, whether it is a sheep or goat, or a cow, or a camel, and remembering that if you buy a share in a cow or a camel, that's one of seven shares.
So these are the types of animal that are going to be used even later either. And these are the ages concerning
the particular animals and remembering that the one who arranges it, the one who's sorting it out that
they are subject to refraining from you know, taking any hair or cleaning or clipping their nails during the days of lewd hedger. Up until that it is done I that the sacrifice has been complete after the Eid prayer prior to that, they should refrain from clipping the nails and removing any hair from their body. This if you like is just like the person who's you know, they're making their hedge when they're in a state of haram they have certain restrictions. And from those restrictions is that they don't trim their nails, nor do they remove any hair for the person who's not making Hajj. But you can get as close to it as you possibly can not performing the hajj just as the person
who's making hajj and they make Hajj tomato with adjoining Amara, and the Hajj or Hajj Iran which also is joining whereas there's no separation between the two. A sacrifice is made.
As the person who is not making the Hajj they will do something similar that you make the sacrifices well the Kobani has done that you refrain from you know clipping your nails and take any hair from your body, which you know further reminds you about the sacredness and the blessings and mercy that is on these particular days. And as we know that these are the very best days of the year. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us that there are no days in the year which are more beloved to Allah subhanaw taala which actions are done that are more beloved to Allah, Yahweh Allah than the days of lowly hedger.
And unfortunately, we find many Muslims are a little bit
I'm gonna say ignorant or absent minded, but I'm not aware of the status of these particular days, that these first 10 days of hedger are better
or greater in the sight of Allah subhanaw taala than the last 10 days of Ramadan, the last 10 nights of Ramadan, they are different. So we make a differentiation between the days and nights brothers and sisters. So the first 10 days of duel hedger are the best 10 days of the year. The last 10 nights of Ramadan are the best 10 nights of the year. Muslims we go out and try to do as much as we can, searching for Leila Takada and mashallah the whole Ummah is aware of this particular time, but for some reason, we find many Muslims, we just allow these days to pass by ie the first 10 days of gold hedger not exerting ourselves extra, doing more during these days to get more reward. And one
of the great things that we can do during these days within NATO is offering liquid burning when Allah subhanaw taala accept from us. Oh, mean, was salam. Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
