The researchers have clearly indicated that they will be using the term problematic internet use to describe a range of similar online addictive compulsive and or excessive behavior. And by the way, this was the first study to investigate the direct and indirect relationship and associations between dark personality traits, the ones that we have listed earlier, and problematic internet use through specific online activities. What are these activities, social media, online gaming, online gambling, online shopping, and online sex, which is pornography and as we said

traits like the one we have listed, may develop problematic internet use. They have also suggested that problematic internet use may lead to dark personality traits.
