On the Day of Resurrection when mankind is brought out from the graves and the people are made to stand and be judged before Allah subhanaw taala. The reality is that if you can't listen to these Ayat of the Quran that talk about the Day of Judgment, and if these are Hadith that talk about the Day of Judgment, don't stir you. And it takes in a sheet in the background to do that, that's a very sad situation to the Muslims find themselves in. The reality is that this subject is not a subject just to be made up by the media to make it look really interesting to make everybody feel really good about themselves and then go home and forget about it

And at the end of the day, we shouldn't be replacing the fear that we that we have when we hear the ayat of the Quran being recited with something which is less than that. And the reason I say that is because I think a few of you know, there are many, many sort of people who've approached this topic before, and some of them who have approached this topic before. Unfortunately, they don't seem to see the need to stick to the authentic ahaadeeth as a messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam, one of the longest and the most detailed Hadith. And the easiest thing for me to have done today to come here is to

So it's extremely weak Hadith, it would be very easy to come and read you because it would fill up my whole 45 minute lecture. And it has a lot of very interesting things in it. The second important point before we begin the topic, and I'm sure this is something that will have been touched upon before, is that everybody's judgment begins when they die. So we don't want anyone to sit here today. And to think about what's being said, and to think this is something far away. Because no matter how far away the Day of

Judgment is, or no matter how close it is, everybody's judgment begins when they die. So the beginning of this judgment, the grave and seeing the angels of, of glad tidings of the angels of punishment, and then being put into the grave and seeing what happens in the grave and having the grave constricted, or the grave opened up, this happens to you when you die. So it doesn't matter. Even if you think that Alhamdulillah, the biggest of the major science has not happened yet. I have some time, you don't have any time jandola, your time is up because your time finishes, when Allah subhanaw taala has written that the angel of death will come to you. experience some of these things, the blowing of the horn and the raising of the souls and so on and so forth. But the judgment of a person begins when they die. So the beginning of this process, the beginning of this journey into the afterlife begins at the moment, even if we say it begins the moment before death, because even in the moments before death, even in the moments just before a person dies, there are signs of what they are going to receive, whether it's going to be glad tidings or whether it's going to be something different. So it is important for us to bear in mind that as much as we talk about this great day, and as much as we may, we might put in our minds as

sort of a distance between us. And eight. First of all, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam clearly said that I have been sent me and our incentive is our have been sent like this, and he held his two fingers together. So there's no doubt that the Day of Judgment is very, very close, but also that everybody's judgment begins when they die. And everybody will begin to answer for what they have done from the moment that they die. And that's something which is extremely important.

The purpose behind us talking about this today is not to tell you a story or to give you some knowledge about that particular day, but something much more urgent, much, much more urgent than the Day of Judgment, something which is extremely urgent, which needs to be done right now. And that is that the hearing these things, hearing these events, hearing this huge, huge calamity that befalls the people, drives you and makes you change as a Muslim, and to do those good deeds and to strive to be from the people of gentlemen, that's what this has to do. It's not a story to tell you something so that you know, I can tell you what happens on the Day of Judgment. Because by that time, by the

time you have reached what happens on the Day of Judgment, your deeds will have ceased, and you will not have anything to be able to put forward in your defense. So the only thing you can do is to learn about this in order for it to make you a better Muslim today. And if it makes you a better Muslim today, then this is what is going to save you basically later Allah from the events of that day and make you from those people who are from the Armenian from those people who have been given safety and security on that day. Otherwise, you can't wait until that day comes to hope for safety and security. And you can't wait until that day comes to hope for guidance from Allah subhanaw

This is the kind of situation that a Muslim should find themselves in in this dunya we know that the angel who has been commanded to blow the trumpet has put on the horn has put it to his mouth. And he has inclined his neck to listen and he has bent his ear to hear the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala when that command comes.

he's ready for this trumpet to be blown. How can then we find any ease in any sort of relaxation or how can we feel that there's no need for us to be

when the situation is so desperate that the angel has already prepared to blow the horn, that's how close these events are. And if this was the statement of the Messenger of Allah salallahu alayhi wa sallam, how can I be at ease when the one who blows the trumpet has put it through his mouth, and bent his forehead and inclined his ear? waiting to see when he will order to be blunt, when he will be ordered to blow it, then what about those who are less in status than the Messenger of Allah civil law? What about all of us? How should we be if the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was like this.

To move on to the topic itself, we'll start by just setting the scene by talking about some of the signs and how they all link into each other, just for a couple of minutes.

Of course, we have the lesser signs of the hour. Those signs that are happening all around us, and many of them have happened already, if not, most of them have happened already. And they keep on coming in greater and greater frequency like an earthquake. It just keeps on getting, it's getting stronger, and it's getting stronger, such as the decline of knowledge, to spread of ignorance, the drinking of wine and alcohol, competition in the construction of tall buildings and many others. These lesser signs are all around us today, and they are there to wake us up into waters. And the frequency now has reached such a point where a person fears for themselves, because the frequency of

these less assigns has become a time where you look left and right and you can't see anything but a lesser sign of the Day of Judgment.

If you look to your left, you see the children being disobedient towards their parents. You see the children treating their parents like slaves. When you look to the right you see people declaring the drinking of wine and alcohol and music to be permissible.

We see this amongst the Muslims let alone amongst the non Muslims. We see people competing in the construction of tall buildings, we see the decline of knowledge and the death of the LMR and the spread of ignorance. everywhere we look we see one of these lesser signs and these lesser signs will increase in frequency as they have until the greatest signs come.

And the greatest signs that come we mentioned or have should have been already mentioned in sha Allah, the MACD the dead jaal, the coming of aisyah even a Malian allihies salaam, the appearance of juge and juge the swallowing up of the earth, the smoke, the rising of the sun from the west, and the color that the appearing or the appearance of the of the beast that comes out from the earth. All of these would have been discussed with you guys previously.

There is one particularly that I want to focus on, because it is the one that most relates to what I'm going to talk about, which is the fire and the fire kind of leads me on to what I'm going to talk about. But in terms of these greatest signs, what you must remember when it comes to these greatest signs is what Allah subhanaw taala says at the end of solitude and on that on that day, it will benefit a person the man that they had very man will not benefit them anything if they had not believed before a full time they had not believed in a time before or they had earned some sort of good with that human okay service fee money manager hierarchy or they had earned some sort of good

The fire is perhaps the most important of the signs that I'm going to talk about because it leads directly to the blowing of the horn, which is the topic that I'm going to talk about today. So the fire it starts from hadramaut, which is a city in in Yemen. And in some durations, it starts from the sea, which is beyond the Yemen.

And this fire, which was mentioned by Ava in the major signs of the hour from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. The last of these major signs, the very last of them, will be a fire which will emerge from Yemen and it will drive the people to the gathering place. So this is the last of the major signs, the fire is driving the people towards that place where they will be gathered towards the place where they will be gathered together and where they will hear the sound of the trumpet being blown.

And the meaning of the first sign here is not the first of the major signs, but the beginning of the resurrection. The first real beginning of the resurrection. I will hurry over your law and narrate the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that people will be gathered in three ways, either willingly or by force, whether they want to come or whether they don't want to come to on a camel or three on a camel or four on a camel or even 10 on a camel. The rest of them will be gathered together by the fire which will stay with them wherever they stop or rest or sleep no matter whether it is day or night. Can you imagine being chased by a fire that doesn't stop the can't be put out? That is moving and chasing the people circling the people and forcing them to not towards what towards what they know

What they know is coming. The fire is gathering them it's surrounding them and it's driving them forward ahead of it. They have to stay ahead of it all the time, until they reach the place of gathering.

Some of the companions asked the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, what should we do or messenger of Allah. And this is a very important point because we look at the attitude of the companions, even though the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had explained that the believing souls would have been taken by the wind that comes and takes away the souls of the believing people, that the Quran would have been raised up, that nobody would be left on the earth except the most evil of the people. But the companions would they still had that desire that desperate and thirst for knowledge, tell us all messenger of life we find ourselves being chased by

this fire, what should I do? He said alikum Sham, go to Sham stick to Sham go to the area of Syria and Palestine and Jordan that is broadly known as Sham travel towards it. And it is narrated in some of the other Hadith, that they will be gathered towards this direction, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam said, you will be gathered on foot and on writing beasts, and you will be dragged along your faces. And then he pointed until you reach over there. And he pointed in the direction of, of Syria in the direction of Sham. So in this is narrated, that this fire will chase the people until they reach that place, and it is in that place or it is while they are being chased to that

To take a moment out just to sort of put this into context and look at some of the names of the Day of Judgment. I'm not going to mention all of the names of the Day of Judgment. But these names are very important because they are not they're simply repeated for no reason. They are mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because they tell you something about that day. For example, Allah Subhana Allah says that it is yo la ye Buffy. It is a day in which there is no doubt. So we know for certain that no matter what you do to run back this way or that way, you will not be able to escape it. It is a day in which there is no doubt it is

your deen the Day of Judgment The Day of Recompense, the day when everyone will have to face what they've put forward. It is

a Lost Planet. Allah says that

Allah subhanaw taala calls it that it is a day of Yeoman Hakim, it is a day of disaster. He calls it upon me to recuperate the day of the great calamity. None of these names are the names of happiness. None of these names are names that give you confidence. They are names that give you fear, and they are names that are meant to terrify a person to make them certain that they are going to have to stand before a Lost Planet Allah. And so it comes back to the topic of what has equal emphasis or comparable and to take yourself to account before the day comes when our last panel what Allah will take into account. Allah, Allah says that it is a hot day. Today it is a day of Yamuna zeal, that it

is your will have the day of truth or Lost Planet Allah says it is yom, Yom route. It is the day which is promised. Allah has promised you a Lost Planet Allah has told you about it. Allah subhanaw taala calls it the Deal of

And Allah subhanaw taala calls it

the day of the overwhelming all of these day all of these names, they show you what kind of experience that people are going to go through. It's not going to be an easy day except for those who Allah has mercy upon. And none of us deserve that mercy. As a Lost Planet. Allah tells us, none of us deserve the mercy of Allah subhanaw taala for those who Allah have mercy have mercy upon they'll be the only people who will be saved from this calamity and this striking event is going to happen.

When we come on to talk about the blowing of the trumpet, I use the word trumpet and I don't think trumpet is a very good word to use to be quite honest. But it's difficult to find a word for a soul. In English, a horn perhaps is a better word than a trumpet. But the idea is to give you an idea of something which is blown and makes a loud noise when it is blown through whether you think of that like a horn or like a trumpet, but it is the idea of something that if you blow into it, it makes a huge noise.

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam explained when he was asked what is it he said it is a horn that is blown into as for the one who is going to blow into the horn, then we can say that according to the stronger opinion or according to it has been said consensus that the angel who is going to blow into the horn is roughly in reality, there isn't an authentic Hadeeth which clearly tells us that is what I feel is going to be the one who blows into the horn, but it is almost reached a point of consensus amongst the scholars of Islam. So I think we can say that inshallah safely say that it is his Rafi who blows into the horn.

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, as I said, mentioned, that the gaze of the one who will blow the trumpet has been fixed since he was entrusted with it, looking towards the throne, ready to blow it in case he will be commanded to do so before he blinks as if his eyes are to shining stars. He's frightened even to blink because of how close he knows this event is.

In terms of the number of times that the Trumpet will be blown, the correct or the it seems like the safer of the two opinions is that it will be blown twice

on the first time that people will be blown into a state of terror. And we're going to talk about how the Quran describes the state of the people, a state of absolute terror. And this terror will reach such a state that they will drop down almost like death, they will drop into complete unconsciousness, and it is said that they will drop into death by hearing what kind of a sound is it that can drive a person into complete insanity. We're going to talk a little bit about how the Quran describes but to give an example, you will consider the people to be drunk and they will not be drunk, that the woman who is carrying a child will miscarry her child at the sound of the horn.

Because of how terrifying it is, it will be so terrifying that it will cause her to miscarry her child. Because of the severity of this sound. It will cause the people to go into such a state that nothing has been seen like it and like a Lost Planet. Allah says you will think them to be intoxicated and they are not intoxicated, but the punishment of Allah is severe. The punishment of a Lost Planet Allah when it comes is severe.

The event when it happens is something which is huge event that people will collapse as low into unconsciousness. And we said that they will die the Arabic word here used is saya, and it means to be overcome with terror to the point where you fall down, to be overcome with so much terror that you actually collapse and it is said you die out of this, this terror that happens as for the second time, then this is the time when we're going to hear about in the in the following lecture when all of the people will be raised up. So what happens in between this first time and the second time, in the hadith of Al Bukhari and Muslim narrated by Abu hurayrah, or the Allah and the Messenger of

And this again shows you the taqwa of the companions, I will forever remember that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said 40, but he could not remember precisely whether he said 40 years, or 40 days or 40 of something else,

or months, for example. So he said simply between the two is 40. They said to him, or Abu hurayrah, 40 days, he said, I don't know. They said, Oh, hurayrah 40 years. He said, I don't know. They said or Abu huraira, 14 months, he said, I don't know. He said, I am not sure. But I know that then Allah will send down rain from the sky and the bodies will grow like Herbes grow.

So when the people fall down, what is going to happen to them is that they will decay over this period of 40 whatever it is 40 days or months or years, the bodies will decay and all of mankind will be lying decaying their bodies until nothing remains from them, except for the tiniest bone at the base of the spine.

This bone will be the only thing that will remain. And then of course Allah subhanaw taala will command for the horn to be blown a second time and the people will be recreated from this bone that are Lost Planet Allah leaves for every person is born at the base of the spine. And Abu huraira said they will grow rain will fall down from the sky and they will grow as Herbes grow.

In Sahih Muslim it is narrated Abdullah ibn Amma radi Allahu ansaid, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said then the Trumpet will be blown, and nobody will hear it except that he will bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side, as if his entire his entire body will snap. From the sheer terror of what he will hear. The first one who will hear it will be a man who is busy in setting the supply of water for the camels, he will think down or collapse down and all the other people will also collapse then Allah subhanaw taala will send down rain, which will be like do and the bodies of the people will grow out of it, then the Trumpet will be blown again. And

Some of the scholars said that the Trumpet will be blown three times because they base this upon an idea in which Allah subhanaw taala says, remember the day on which the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and the earth will be terrified except who Allah wills and all shall come to him humbled. In reality this is it seems like the more correct opinion is to say that this is a part of the first blowing of the trumpet and not twice, not once to terrify once to make them faint and wants to bring them back to life. But that wants to terrify them which will result in them fainting, and then a second time which will bring

Allah subhanaw taala says and one of the days in which the whole will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens or whoever is on the earth will be terrified except for who Allah wills and all of them will come to him humbled, and you will see the mountains and think the mountains are solid, but they will pass away like the clouds pass away the work of Allah who perfected all things. Indeed, Allah is acquainted with what you do,
