Aisha Radi Allahu on how she reports the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in prayer. He always concluded his re citation in Salah in prayer with Surah to the last one who Allahu Ahad say He is Allah the one Allahu Samad Allah the self sufficient Lamia did what a mule that He begets not nor was he begotten, what am Yahoo Local one I had, and there is no one equal to Him. The man is not reciting to shorten his conversation with Allah, or that this is all that he knew, because it clearly wasn't. It was because he truly enjoyed engaging with the word of Allah subhanahu wa taala. The question we have to ask ourselves is the following. Why do we love to recite certain Surah of the Quran? Are we rushing? Are we seeking convenience? Are we pondering over the sword with attention, the attention that they deserve? let's reframe our intentions when it comes to the short chapters in how we pray and how we recite
