There is no contradiction between the recommendation of eating the fingers, three fingers or if you have spoons if you have forks, as long as you eat with the right hand. So it is permissible to use these utensils, the forks and the spoons in eating provided you eat with your right hand. What about the matter of licking the fingers or licking the spoon or the pot that you eating and

there are two things number one,

when the Prophet sallahu wa sallam recommended using the three fingers, not the whole hand. Obviously it was very common that people use to eat with their hands. They didn't have any of these utensils. So they used to eat with their hands. But the prophets Allah Allah Allah said and recommended that you should use or three fingers in order to eat a little bit by little bit and not to eat your fell, which is a source of most diseases. somehow there is an overlapping all these are Hadith share some advice. So instead of repeating what we say whenever we speak about the second or the third Hadith, I'll quote the following Hadith and inshallah explain them all together. good practices and etiquette. Number one to say Bismillah or Bismillah AR Rahman AR Rahim to mention the name of Allah in the beginning of your food and before eating or before drinking. Number two, use your right hand eating or drinking. Number three, eat from what is right in front of you. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi salam mentioned that the baraka is in the center of the food. So if any of those who are eating from the same dish happen to pick it up, eat from the middle, this is lack of Islamic etiquette. And it causes withdrawal of the baraka and this is lack of respect to the others who are eating with you, each one should eat from right in front of them.

Number four, if the person is eating, whether with a group of people all by himself, that the person is recommended not to fill his hand with food, rather to eat with the three fingers, again, I don't use my fingers. I eat with a spoon, or if I'm eating spaghetti eat with the with the four. Is it permissible shear, yes, it is definitely permissible, should you say Bismillah in the beginning it from right in front of you. And after you finish, you say Alhamdulillah and make certain you don't over eat. And actually the

prophetic advices in this regard is not to eat that you felt rather than to eat enough to fill 1/3 of your stomach or approximately 1/3 of your stomach with the food. And you spend 1/3 of the stomach for the drink. And you leave the third part of the stomach empty for the air. So now, the prophet Salah Salem is teaching us

in a nice way to be in good shape, through observing how you eat and how much food you eat. And by mentioning the name of Allah in the beginning, a little bit of food will be sufficient versus when the person

Eat everything that you have served in your plate, from an Islamic perspective, besides the ticket, and learning that you only serve what you're going to consume. And keep in mind that there are a lot of people

who literally die out of hunger and out of thirst. While on the other hand, a lot of people who waste tons of food, you see the trash can the dumpsters next to some of these fast food restaurants, or some of these open buffets. It is very scary. You know, the trash cans of these first ones are enough to feed some people in a whole country who are suffering of starvation. So eat every food that you serve in your plate. From the Islamic perspective, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam has said there is what is known as Baraka that we discussed it in the previous episode, in the food. The Baraka could be in this part of the food could be in the spirit could they be in this bite could be

in the bite that while you were eating, you drop this piece of bread.

Most people when they drop the bread basket or even the meat, they trash it, or the push it with their foot. This is a blessing. And as Joseph said, we as we're talking right now, we're fully aware that our lot of people are suffering of famous suffering of hunger and thirst, and undergoing a great deal of starvation. Yes, we know that there are some of those rich countries who brag about how many

variety of food grains, rice, milk, condensed milk, milk in powder forms, eggs, they dominate in the ocean

1000s of tons of food, why? They say according to their own programs, the documentaries showing why these countries dumped that much food in the ocean, which cost them 10s of millions of dollars to get the food to pack the food to ship the food. And then in the middle of the ocean, they dammit why? They say according to them, in order to keep the prices at a similar rate so that the farmers would not lose. So why don't you just

export that food to the countries which are in need for an affordable price? Or for the sake of God? For the sake of humanity? Why don't you feed those who are starving, instead of throwing the food in the ocean? Those who eat we've got to teach our children that whenever we serve the food, they gotta contemplate the idea and ponder over the fact that mashallah this is you know, this great variety of food, rice, bread, fruits, meat, chicken, different types of food, you know, it's all risk from Allah subhanho wa Taala remember while you're eating, that you got to say thank you Allah for providing us with this food. Thank you and Allah subhanho wa Taala could be simply say by the tongue

without realizing what does it mean without paying attention? Because it has become a habit good food good meatless eat. No, it is not like that.

feast, or for dinner, they consider a shame if they prepare food in not barely enough for the guests. It is not right. And what happens after you see this huge pan of rice, and you see a camel sitting on top of it that only five people how much are we going to eat? And we've been invited to some of these seats and I feel ashamed. What we're going to do.

How much are we going to eat a small piece of meat, a few bites of rice, then then what? You know we have seen on video clips how much food is wasted. this is my food, I'm going to enjoy it today.

If no one is around, just invite somebody to eat with you. You will enjoy the food more, there will be more Baraka in the food. As the number of the leaders of this food will increase. He said Salah sent him the food of two

is sufficient for three, and the food of three is sufficient for four and it is even sufficient. For more. that forgetting all about how bad or guys were shipping cars fire and stones selling their best were the cheapest

hobby.

Doo doo doo Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and then we're settling one marhaba Meachum brothers and sisters, sometimes you have stories related, be it from the people of the past, be it with regards to certain cultures. But at the end of the day, we should focus on the moral of that story and not so much get lost in the translation with regards to that story. Brothers and sisters there's a story related with regards to this pious individual Masha Allah and he had this

New servant with him. And so they on the journey during that hour for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa taala. And this pious servant of Allah, He had three roaches with him three rolls with him that he carried for himself and the servant on the journey, they stopped to eat. And when they take out that bag with all of the food, he finds that he only has two rotis two rolls in that bag. So he asks his servant, you know, when I left home, I packed three, I only have two now, do you know what happened to the other roll? Man says well, like Yeah, I don't know. I don't know at all. And so they continue, they eat and they continue the journey. Later on. This pious individual sees some people

who are ill, and he kills them. He placed his hand over them made dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala and they were cured. Then he says to his young Sati, he says to his young servant, that you've seen this miracle that Allah subhanahu Atila caused to happen upon my hands. Tell me what happened to that extra roll. Man says Wallachia I don't know, I'm amazed by a miracle. But I don't know what happened to that roll. No problem. They continue the journey. They come across this river, and they need to cross this river. And so this pious servant of Allah subhanho wa taala, this alum, this Abbot, he says, hold my hand and the pot and the servant holds his hand and he steps onto the water, and they

just walk across the water. The servant, the student, he is amazed by this, he is shocked, he is amazed. And so this the color the Alim the abbot says to him, you've seen this miracle of Allah subhanahu. It's either which occurred at my hands. And so tell me what happened to the role. It says Allah, He, I don't know what happened to that role. The scholar ignores the matter and continues until eventually they come to a place where they find these three bricks. And the ILM, the IB, the scholar, the pious worshiper puts his hands on it, and three bricks turn into three bricks of gold. And this student is amazed and Subhanallah he's obviously greedy. And so he's amazed and you know,

he wants maybe this gold. And so the pious servant Abbey, the philosopher who Allah says to him, tell me, you saw this miracle, what happened to the, to the role, and if you tell me, I will give you some of these gold coins, I will give you some of these gold bricks, one for me, one for you. And the remaining one will go to the one who knows what happened to the role. And so eventually, the students said, Yeah, you know what, I'm the one I was hungry, I took that extra role at the beginning of our journey, and I ate it, and I did not want to tell you and I was embarrassed, and I kept you the secret and aligned to you, etc, etc. And so the pious worship of Allah subhanho wa

Taala says, hulless This is where we part I cannot be in your company, you cannot be in my company, you see in great miracles of Allah subhanho wa taala. You've been in my company, the company of the righteous and the pious, and you ignored all of that, and you still chose to lie, you still chose to be deceitful. We have to part you can take all of the gold bricks, they are for you. And so this man was super elated and happy. And the pious servant of Allah he walked away. This man super happy and elated. He's got his bricks of gold, and he is moving on his journey. Soon after this. There were three thieves which see him they pounce upon him, and they kill him. After killing him. They find

that Masha Allah, he had these three bricks of gold, they are super elated and happy. Each one of them takes one. And then they say, You know what I think we need to celebrate. So one of us should go to the village, buy some sweet meats, buy some food, come back, and then we will enjoy it. We'll sit together and then we'll go home. And so he heads off. But what does he do? Greed got the better of him. The glitter of the dunya got the better of him. And so he bought some sweet meats for himself. And the rest of them, he poisoned them so that when he goes back to camp, he'll give his friends, two of them will eat they will die, and he will take all three gold bars. And so that's

what he did. In the meantime, his two friends at camp, they plot and plan amongst themselves, that when our friend comes, we will kill him and we will share his last gold bar amongst ourselves and Subhanallah he comes back they pounce upon him they kill him. And then they each have the sweet meats and they all fall down dead. A few days later, the pious worship at the Abbey, the philosopher Hannah who attacked her, he walks past this area, and he finds that student of his he finds that follow of his line they did the one who was deceitful the one who was a liar, the one who was not convinced by the miracles and still chose the dunya over the matches of the hereafter. He was lying

dead, killed by the robbers and then the three robe is all dead. The first one was slaughtered at the hands of the other two and the other two who were poisoned online dead and the three gold bars still

They around them. And so the AVID with the rest of his students who now joined him, he says to them, this is the example of the dunya. Brothers and sisters, he said, This is the example of the dunya. You hanker after it, you will run after it, you chase after it. But at the end of the day, you get nothing out of it. Subhanallah at the end of the day, you are only that which you have of man, that's what you take with you to the hereafter, you will chase after the dunya but you leave it to your kids, and you leave it to those after you Allahu Stein. Whereas, if a person seeks out Allah subhanho wa Taala then you will get the dunya and you will also get Allah and you'll also get the

hereafter. But if you only seek out the dunya you will lose out in all other matters. May Allah subhanahu wa taala grant us insight May Allah subhanahu wa taala grant is understanding may Allah subhanahu wa taala grant us reflection May Allah Subhana Allah grant us a week up alongside A salaam aleikum, wa Rahmatullah to doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo

Allah subhanaw taala revealed the Quran in seven different ways of worshipping Maria Maria Saddam. She's a woman by herself. She doesn't even have a husband who has ever touched her. And Allah subhanaw taala granted a child to Medea Marissa? Look at that. He said that how will I have a child when I'm young since Lee Bashar? And for those who did not go for heads, that Allah subhanaw taala give us all the opportunity to go for heads and to have our deeds accepted by Allah subhanho tan for the heads to be righteous for it to be accepted by Allah subhanaw taala It's a condition that some of us might see it as something that is very heavy heads in Maputo, the righteous heads. This righteous head is

the condition for the person to enter the agenda of Allah subhanaw taala for the head to be accepted by Allah subhanaw taala what is the meaning of the righteous heads? The righteous heads has to do something with our hearts has to do something with the different parts of our bodies has to do something with our hearts when it comes to the deeds of the hearts for the heart to be sincere for the heart to have certain acts of worship, that it would show on the outside appearance. And that's why the physical actions that we do enhance, it has to be according to the way of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to do what Allah subhanaw taala ordered us to do, and to stay away from

sins and from the things that Allah subhanaw taala forbade us in head and at all times. And to stay away from the things that negates had. This is how a Muslim would reach the level of having the Hajj as a righteous head. And again, it's only for few days, and these few days that a person would endure patience and do the best a person would can do for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala the reward is something that would stays with the person till the end of this life in the hereafter fulfilling

A pillar of Islam of normality Allahu Anoma. He wasn't had given time and someone said, how many people are performing heads this year? Like what we say every time we go for heads of normality, Allah NAMA, he said, how few are they? Those who are performing HUD? So the person that said the first statement was estranged? How can that come from a normal rhodiola, Noma? When there are so many people physically performing had it normal Rhodiola and Houma. He meant how many people are really performing heads that are not the same, as we see in numbers. Only few of them are those who would know the rights of heads. And they would perform heads with the hearts and with their bodies

for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala alone, that he saw a man having a simple right that his writing and caring his provisions in a simple way, someone that doesn't have so much provisions or means. And he said maybe this one is among those who are performing hajj in the right way. Also, when a man in Mecca, when he saw the people, this is among the early generations of Islam, they were going out for Hajj, and they used to go out for Hajj in a group in a huge group, the people, all the people of the city are going out into this journey for head. And he stood there. And he saw this ground and this great number of people going for hands. And he said, how weak I am meaning that he was not

among them. And he felt so much regret, and the wish that he will be among these people that would go for head. And he remembered and witnessed that if this is the regret and sorrow that person would feel in his heart, that he would see others going to perform this act of worship, he would feel that regret that he didn't go with them when he did not get to go to the house of Allah and Metka he said how about the regret when a person would have if he did not get to have this pleasure of Allah subhanaw taala when he is deprived from the Mercy of Allah subhanaw taala in the day of judgment, and this is the goal of our acts of worship, our whole entire life is to seek the pleasure of Allah

subhanaw taala alone is to witness the wisdom of Allah subhanaw taala and to subject ourselves to the Mercy of Allah subhanaw taala How can we perform a righteous head had to that is my broad righteous righteousness, as mentioned in the Quran, it's basically comprises the whole religion of Islam, from the pillars of Eman to the acts of worship to the pillars of Islam, to be kind to others and to be righteous to others to be kind to the poor, and the needy, and so on and so forth. And this is something that Allah subhanaw taala mentioned in the Quran. But we need all of these meanings in hygiene at all times. But there is something specific here. And as we mentioned before

it had been my brother is the righteous one, the one that has no sin. Also one of the early generations of Islam, he said that for a person to have a righteous head, he needs to have three things. The first thing is he needs to have what are what are which they usually translated as piety. But it's not just piety. It's a special type of fire at the highest level of piety. What about when a person would leave something that is permissible out of the field that a person would fall into the Haram not just leaving the non permissible acts, but to stay away from some of the permissible acts that are closer to the forbidden so that he stayed away far away from getting

closer and subjecting oneself to what brings the Wrath of Allah subhanaw taala that is water.

So a person needs water that would make him stay away from sins. Why would I not just to stay away from haram is enough. Because for those who performed Hajj before and those who are performing heads, they would see that it's very easy to fall into sins and Hajj, especially when it comes to dealing with others. So many people from different parts of the world are performing hajj at the same time. And people are doing things together. And people would need so many different things of their provisions. And as a result of lacking the piety and the water. People would fall into sins, raising their voices, arguing with one another, attacking one another sometimes verbally or more

than that, all of that of because of the lack of patience and not understanding the type or the real essence of the journey of head. The person that is going for a journey for heart disease not seeking some form of physical pleasure, some form of physical relaxation, that a person will go for a vacation for example, a Muslim is seeking the forgiveness from Allah subhanaw taala and it's meant for her to be a struggle. This is the jihad of women as the prophet

said Alario Salim said, so that's why we need to witness the wisdom of Allah subhanaw taala and why we go through these struggles, so that we would witness the wisdom of Allah subhanaw taala so that it returns into our hearts, with steadfastness on the deen of Islam. So we need this water not just to stay away from haram. We need to have a barrier between us and what is haram by something that is permissible that we stay away from, like even simple arguments. We stay away from that and this is something that needs patients which is something done by our hearts. So what this is the first thing the second thing is, a person needs his forbearance

to be patient with others forbearance so that a person would not fall into the sins that would make him attack that
