why we are looking at it and why we call it
leaving Islam is because Islam is the name of our practice.
Islam is not merely the name of a theology. Islam is not the name of a philosophy. Islam is not the name of a theory. Islam is the name of a practice. Like Judo is the name of a practice. karate is the name of a practice.
Taekwondo is the name of a practice. If I read 20 books on Judo, and I memorize all the 20 books, and then I am in a street fight, that knowledge of judo will not save.
Even though I am the half is of the Kitab of judo, not I can learn all about the history of judo. Where did you start from who started it? What happened? What didn't happen? It will not save me. What will save me in the street fight is if I know how to practice judo.
And for that one, what do I need to do? I need to go into a dojo and I need to learn how to fall 10,000 times. That's where it starts. They teach you first how to form.
And that's exactly the system and the issue with Islam, which is that if I want Islam to benefit me, I have to go in the dojo which is called the budget and I have to for 10,010, which is called to you.
Unless I practice Islam, Islam does not benefit me. I will know about Islam, there's no doubt about this. And in this country, we have so many scholars in the American universities, many of them heading departments of Islamic Studies. And they are not they're not Muslim, the Christian they are Jewish, the atheist, they all kind of see but they are scholars of Islam. They are fluent in Arabic, they will quote Hadith.
In Arabic, they will quote for Al and they will translate but they are not Muslim. They don't pray. They don't believe in Allah subhanaw taala Islam for them is a
field of study they are studying Islam. Many of them write some good stuff as well. books which are beneficial, but when they stand before Allah subhanaw taala what will be their state laws best bet as far as we're concerned, and also, it will not be law.
It will not be accepted from anyone who comes to Allah subhanho wa Taala
with a deed other than Islam.
When you have the VEDA Islamic dnn for
it will not be accepted.
So that is why we talk about leaving Islam. And as I have said many times before, if you look at the Sierra Club, look at his biography, look at his life

That is why we need to learn to practice Islam in our lives.
to whatever we learn, whether it is one single thing for example, we know the value of Salah in the masjid.
Knowing the value of the Salah in the masjid is not important whether if we know that then are we praying

This is the meaning of practicing Islam. So you are not simply sitting with this knowledge. If somebody asks you, if I pray at all, how much reward do I get? If I pray in the masjid? How much do what do I get the right answer? But where are you praying in the home? No, you are hamdulillah practicing what you know.
If we do that with everything else in Islam, whatever. Now the beauty of Islam is Islam covers all aspects of life. Islam is not simply a bunch of practices relating to worship.
Islam covers worship, obviously. But Islam also covers your domestic life. Islam covers your relationship with your spouse's Islam covers your businesses and business practices. If you are the head of a state, Islam teaches you how to run the state.
Whichever situation you might be, Islam teaches us how to behave in that situation in a way which is beautiful, which is graceful, which will buy us friends and influence in the world and which will get us Jannah inshallah.
That is the reason why it is important for us to learn is very important. Now,
there is a confusion that seems to happen in the minds of a lot of people where they confuse information and knowledge.
I want you to think about this information and knowledge. So I read a book and I say, Well, I have knowledge
I take the Quran I read the Quran, I read the translation of the Quran if I don't understand Arabic, then I read the translation, whichever language and I say I have read the Quran, I have knowledge.
I submit to you that what you have is information.
What is the difference? What is the difference between information and knowledge? Now in order Luisa mamilla, maluma and L. Two different things.
Information is information, you know about something?
Knowledge is to know that thing at an experiential level.
So how does knowledge come? knowledge comes by practicing the information

the knowledge that there is the information that there is a dangerous dog in this house did anything change in that?
You understood what is your connection with that information? That is the meaning of knowledge.
Intuition you already had it the dog is not the dog is still a dog is not a bear. You didn't see no Sunday the Tiger Tiger. So beware of dog I knew there is a dangerous dog in this house. That piece of information didn't change is the same thing.

So please understand this information converting to knowledge means you understand your connection with that. And you prepare, there is some action involved with that.

The whole meaning of leaving Islam is to convert this information to knowledge.
And the sign of that I'm giving you a sign, not to monitor others, but for ourselves. If I want to monitor myself, What must I do? look for signs of action. I mean, in my own life, if I find that action and rely
on that, if I don't find those signs, then I must look at my life and say what changes do I need to make?
How must I change my life in order to become
to benefit from this information and convert this into knowledge? Right? older sisters?

We named people individuals. Now, this does not mean they are not good people hamdulillah they are good people, we can say, Well, you know, 100 as far as I know, he's a very pious person and so on. But to specifically name somebody and say so and so is a
valley of Allah. This is not permissible in our religion because we don't know this. Only Allah subhanaw taala knows the reason I'm saying as an aside from this is because there is also correct some of our actions and beliefs. Let me give you an example from the Syrah

and if he asked my protection, I will protect him.
And I do not hesitate to do anything, as I hesitate to take the soul of this believer because he does not like to die and I hate to disappoint.
And this is a perfect as I think about this, how beautiful this is and what it means. Allah subhanaw taala loves you. And because Allah loves you, Allah says I become the site with which he sees. What about the site with which is the site

We are doing all of this we are making so many months so bad and so many strategies and how would we deal with this and how will we deal with that and so on and so on. The question I ask is how
Many of us are saying, what do we need to do to correct our own lives so that we get ourselves to a point where all we need to do is say, yeah, Allah protect me and Allah will protect
us. What is the best strategy? The best strategy is to get protection from Allah will only Allah can protect la la, la la la la la la, there is no one who can give any benefit or any harm.
