My dear brothers and sisters, when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent by Allah Subhana, who were to Hydra

as a prophet, and messenger for mankind.

When he was first sent, he was alone.

He was one man.

He was alone. He was a stranger.

He was a stranger filled in a world.

He was a stranger in a world that was filled with ignorance, that was filled with disbelief, that was filled with *. And that was filled with oppression, and injustice. And so Allah subhana wa tada sent him

to change that reality,

to change the oppression and the injustice, to justice, to change the disbelief and the shift to the tawheed of a loss of Hannah who had the honor and belief in him.

My dear brothers and sisters, when he first received the revelation, from a loss of Hannah, who went to Allah, only a handful of intelligent people, accepted his message.

And so in the beginning, there were very, very few believers,

a handful of believers who accepted the message, and so they too became strangers in the society in which they lived in. They were strangers, to their own family members,

to their own society, in which they were born and grew up in.

And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

Along with these handful of believers,

they continued to strive hard and to struggle,

until many entered into the fold of Islam, but they were still persecuted and tortured, when they were in Mecca.

Until a loss of Hannah, who had to Allah commanded His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to migrate to Medina where they moved and established, a society

established a state and then

one victory after the other, against their opponents, against their enemies. Until Islam spread throughout the Arabian Peninsula.

And the tribes the Arab Christ came into Islam one after the other. And so Islam spread, and that strangeness

vanished. And so those strangers we're no longer strangers. And so Islam spread with the death of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam as his companions radi Allahu Allah whom took that Deen and spread it throughout the world. And so Islam was no longer something strange

until many, many centuries later.

And until our current time,

where Islam is once again looked at as being something strange

and its followers who truly follow Islam, as revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam are looked at as strangers

This is something that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam foretold. This is something that he told us. So he said, better and Islamorada worse iaru do horiba can I better for to the little Harada

he said, salatu wa, he was Allahu LA, that Islam began as something strange. And it will once again return to being something strange, the same way in which began, and then what did he say, for to ballyhoura

so glad tidings for those strangers.

And so, in every era, in every land, these strangers will appear.

They are those who look odd,

who don't fit into society. Why? Because they have left the norms, the customs or traditions of their people, the religion of their forefathers, and they decided to change.

And so in our times, especially in the society we live in,

there is no doubt that Islam is something strange. And its followers who adhere to its teachings are looked at as being strangers. And this is how it has always been.

And so these followers of Islam have always been like

a black cow,

which has a white patch on it, standing out, small, few in number,

or like a birthmark on your body, it stands out. It's small, and yet it stands out.

And so these are the strangers that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam spoke about,

when he said that there will come a time when Islam will return to being something straight.

And so a Muslim, he lives his life in this dunya

the true Muslim lives,

and yet, he is different.

He is different and distinguished from the enemies of Islam.

Although he may physically be living with them, in this life in this world, He's different.

He's distinguished

his religion, in his beliefs, in his customs, in the way he carries himself. He's different to all the others. And so, this distinguishing feature isn't something that we have come up with ourselves.

Or is it something that Allah Subhana who Allah gave to us?

And I asked this question because many Muslims are confused today. And so they think that we shouldn't draw these lines between us and the others. And that we Muslims are no different than the others. Let us all unite, let the Muslim stand beside his Christian brother or his Jewish brother. There's nothing wrong with that. However, I'm here to tell you today that Allah subhanho wa Taala from above the seven heavens, he is the one who made these lines between us and all the others. Allah subhana wa attallah tells us that the difference between the two camps

There is no longer any meaning to the struggle that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam went through, and his companions, what they went through, in order for them in order for that Deen to reach us today.

My dear brothers and sisters,

the Muslim is distinguished

from the non Muslim in many different ways. And so in his aqeedah in his belief, he worships a lot alone.

Unlike all the others, who either do not believe in Allah subhanho wa Taala, or they associate partners with Allah subhana wa tada directing their worship to other than Allah.

And so,

this is a distinguishing feature between the believer, the Muslim and non Muslim in his al Qaeda, in his worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is exactly what Allah subhanho wa Taala told His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in an entire surah that he revealed to him. Could you help Kathy rune?

Allah subhanho wa Taala commands His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Say,

say to them, oh, disbelievers.

Oh Kathy rune. Unlike many Muslims today, who don't even want to use this term anymore, they say we should not make any difference between us and them by using such terms. will be doing good stressing on those same meanings. Allah Subhana Allah says, and I shall never worship what you worship, and You will never worship, what I worship. And then how does Allah subhana wa tada conclude these verses, let them do what God for you is your religion, you keep your religion, and I will keep mine.

And so this is the difference between the Muslim and non Muslim. he worships Allah alone.

And he does not associate partners with Allah subhanho wa Taala in his worship. And so the Muslim distinguishes himself in his Akita. And he just he distinguishes himself from others in his worship of Allah subhana wa Tada. And in his character, in his manners, the we the way he conducts himself, with the best of manners taught to us by Allah subhana wa tada and His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he distinguishes himself in his customs, and in his way.

And so my dear brothers and sisters,

the Muslim is not like the calf ear, the disbeliever in everything that he does, especially in that which he believes in. And so today

in the West, in this part of the world that we live in, we currently have two kinds of Islam that are being offered.

One type is that which fits

is that which fits with the people's current understanding their current lifestyles,

the way in which they are currently living in

this Western lifestyle

and it's

Lamb

that is concerned with only

being able to get along

in the world in which the West dominates,

giving people an Islam

that is compatible with their lives in which there is no distinguishing features. The second kind of Islam is that, which teaches people, how Islam came to change the reality, how Islam came to change the norms of the people, not how it is compatible with the ways of the people in which they currently stand.

And, of course, the first kind, the first type will be promoted,

it will be taught,

the core ad will be twisted, in order for this version of Islam,

to be made acceptable by the Muslims. Why? Because it is the Islam that the people want. It is the Islam that makes the lives of the people easy for them.

That doesn't make them stand out. That doesn't cause them any difficulty,

any so called difficulties. And so the second kind of Islam

will be denounced. It will be fought against its people will be labeled with every kind of label.

And so I want you now to bring your minds back from this current

picture that we have back to the first strangers,

those few Sahaba

who were strangers

in their society?

Don't you see the similarity?

Every single kind of attack they faced verbal, physical.

They were told that this is a new religion.

They were told that this man has come to change you from the ways of your forefathers. And so they were persecuted. They were tortured.

And the media was all over the Muslims announcing to the various tribes around the Arabian Peninsula, to be aware of this man. Why? Because he's either a magician, or he's a poet, or he's a madman.

And so, this is what we face today. My dear brothers and sisters. This is a reality of what we face today. But who are the successful ones? The ones who the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he gave them glad tidings for to ballyhoura so give glad tidings to the strangers. My dear brothers and sisters.

It's not easy to live as a stranger, as a prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam described to us who the strangers are.

It's not easy, and that's why you find many Muslims

giving up and not persisting, not remaining steadfast upon this theme.

However, there are certain ways that if we were to focus on it'll help us

To rise from the ashes, and to once again become true strangers, those strangers who the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave his glad tidings for the first is by understanding that this Deen of Allah subhanahu wa tada

is the truth and there is no other truth besides it, no matter what they say no matter what theories they bring forth, to try to disprove Islam, or to try to disprove the very existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah is the truth and this Deen that he has revealed to us it is the truth and the way you find out is by firstly attaching your heart to Allah subhana wa tada begging him to show you the truth as it is. And then secondly, to studying this deal, and to understanding that this Deen is based upon not myths, but rather it is based upon evidence, sound arguments that coincide with the sound intellect. Secondly,

understanding that this Deen that we have it is that which Allah subhana wa tada is pleased for us.
