Ikram Sanaullah – Confidentiality

Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi salam says Al majali, Seville, Amana, whatever is discussed in a gathering is trust. It is an Amana if something confidential has been discussed. It should remain between those people amongst those people. Unfortunately, today we have this bad habit, someone will come to me and tell me that I am sharing this with you, because you are my best friend, but you shouldn't share it with someone else. I will go to the next person, because I also have a best friend. And I'll tell him that I'm sharing it with you, because you are my best friend, and you shouldn't share it with someone else. And he goes to the next person, and it goes on and on and on.

The fastest way of communication is to put a sentence at the end. What sentence I'm only telling it to you, you shouldn't tell it to someone else.
