Alhamdulillah,
All praises to Allah
for all the blessings, the bounties that he
has provided for all of us.
Until today, we are almost coming to the
end of Ramadan 2024.
We believe we have benefited from the 1st
day of Ramadan
until today.
We know there's a lot of things that
we have
to do
to become a better Muslim.
The surah
in the 2nd
set of PM tonight
was chosen by the imam
to recite the whole surah of Surah Al
Hujarat.
Surah Al Hujarat is known as
Surat Al Adah,
teaching the believers,
all of us to have the right adah,
the right manner towards Allah.
None of us can be a Muslim
without the declaration
of faith.
That is
Even
you are giving a lot of donations,
even you have been fasting,
even you are praying, but if you do
not want to make that declaration
from the beginning,
all the deeds that you are doing have
no value.
Everything must be guided
by the shahada.
There was shahada is the first pillar of
Islam,
so that everything you do
will be guided
by the intention.
Everything
belong to Him.
Everything
will return back to Him.
So anything you want to do, make sure
that your intention is.
You are not doing for any other purpose,
to please anyone except number 1, to please
Allah,
because
He is the first,
and that is why the ayat start
Oh, you who believe you are not supposed
to put ahead
the saying, the opinion
of anybody
before Allah
and the saying of prophet Muhammad,
When you accept that,
you must submit to Allah.
Why do we pray? Because Allah
commands us to pray. If Allah does not
command us to pray, you don't have to
pray.
It's a waste of time,
and that's why at the beginning of Islam,
there is no prayer.
It is just to believe in the shahada.
That's all.
2 years before hijra,
then only Israach and Miraj
took place.
Then only prayer was being made compulsory.
Just to guide us to understand,
anything to do with religion,
ibada,
You cannot do
as what you like to do.
What you want? No.
Because ibada belong to Allah,
that belonged to us.
The law of Ibadah,
Please remember
this basic law.
You can't do until there is an order
from Allah.
You don't fast until Allah said, Fast.
Anything to do with ibadah.
You can do
until Allah
commands you to do.
Anything to do with adaat,
our tradition,
you just do what you love to do,
what you used to do,
until there is
an order to say no.
Stop
against
Allah,
against the prophet, then you stop.
Whatever you want to eat, you eat.
Until Allah said, this one haram, then you
stop.
If Allah now says haram, keep on eating.
Whether you
use it to death or not. You want
to eat lizard, eat lizard.
If there's an order saying no more lizard,
then no lizard.
And alhamdulillah, there are so many things that
Allah wants us to eat. Only few, He
mentioned.
But human being human,
we still find it difficult.
There's no other food except
that particular food.
There are so many drinks that you can
drink.
In the beginning of Islam,
everybody
drank alcohol,
wine,
liquor,
until they get drunk.
And then Allah said, do not
come to the prayer
in the state of drowsiness
until you know what you are saying, what
you are doing.
So people start to understand, okay that means
before
prayer, no drinking.
After prayer,
you can drink.
Then later on,
Allah make it forbidden.
No more drinking.
Which drink
drink
that intoxicates
you? Stop.
Then you stop.
This is just an example. At that you
like to drink, at that you like to
eat anything you want to eat, you want
to drink. What you are used to eat,
carry on until Allah said, no, then you
stop.
But ibada
don't do until there is
an order from Allah
because it belongs to Allah and
Allah created us
from
1 papa, 1 mama,
Adam and Eve,
and He decided to make us into nation
and tribe, the ESO.
One of the aya that was recited in
Surah Hu Jura.
Not for you to fight against each other,
to belittle one another, to humiliate one another,
to say that I'm better than you because
because I
am taller than you,
because I am whiter than you,
because I am richer than you,
because I'm calmer than you. No, no, no,
no.
Allah said, the best among you have nothing
to do with them.
The best among you
in the sight of Allah, not in the
sight of you or
the people,
is
taqwa.
Brothers and sisters,
one of the reasons Allah makes us different,
alhamdulillah,
in our
maracas. Yeah, you can see you have different
races.
Me and you are different too,
and among us, we are different again. You
have locals. You have foreigners.
You have Arabs with us,
we have Algerians,
you have Pakistani,
you have Indians.
I think among us, at least we have
how many nations?
United Nations.
Alhamdulillah.
We are all united,
worshiping 1 God.
Alhamdulillah.
But there is one thing that we have
to improve before the end of this Ramadan.
Improve
in getting to know each other. Read ta'arafu.
Allah said, I made you into nation and
tribe.
For what? I never created anything without a
purpose.
I don't do things without a reason behind
it.
Even Allah said,
Allah said,
I never created anything without a reason, for
fun, for play. No.
I created all of you different in color,
race, culture,
so that little are of fools get to
know one another.
Understand
each other's culture.
Nothing wrong.
One thing we have to succeed
is that we may
enjoy all types of food.
Chinese food, alhamdulillah.
Indian food, no problem.
Japati,
jalan.
Japchai,
jalan.
Everything,
Alhamdulillah.
Mandi,
okay.
No mandi,
okay.
Alhamdulillah.
This alhamdulillah, we do not have to teach
anybody.
Everybody
will look for the food that they like
and Malaysia is known as
a country
of food heaven.
Anything you want, you get it. Especially Ramadan,
you have Bazar Ramadan.
Allahu Akbar.
Brothers and sisters,
one of the important things in the beginning
of the ayah,
you are not supposed to put the saying,
the opinion
of anybody
ahead of Allah's command
and the teaching of Muhammad
Then Allah continued.
You are not supposed to raise up your
voice
above the voice of Prophet Muhammad.
What do you understand about this? I mean
if there is a saying of the prophet
that is very clear
or authentic,
you cannot argue anymore.
You have no right
to show
yourself that you know better.
I disagree.
When the prophet says something,
it is your duty who make shahada, ashadu
Allah illallah,
wa ashadu anna Muhammad,
The danger
of
disagreeing,
ignoring the saying of the prophet, and put
your opinion ahead, that you know better about
Islam than the prophet,
Allah said,
all your good deeds can be wiped off.
You have been doing a lot of good
things, but because of your arrogance,
no adept with the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam,
then your deeds can be wiped off
and the worst thing without you realizing.
Allah said it in the Quran.
And talk about
So please, brothers and sisters,
there are so many things for us to
learn about this beautiful deen.
Don't play
around, don't joke around,
don't ever think there is somebody who knows
better than Allah
and somebody
understands Islam more than prophet Muhammad
None of us.
Today
religion becomes a joke.
The way we treat our own religion,
we have no respect. How can not yet
Muslim respect us?
If we ourselves don't respect what Allah said,
what our prophet said,
how can the not yet Muslim respect
our religion,
Respect Allah
if we are not careful.
The same goes to the saying of the
Prophet, some of them,
and also
Allah talked about those who in the time
of the prophet,
if you want something from the prophet, you
have to wait.
You don't call him like you call another
person.
And do not call him
behind
what?
Behind
the chamber.
When he is in the room, for example,
you cannot shout,
You Muhammad. You Rasulullah.
You cannot do that. Just wait
until he comes up to you.
It's very important this ada
Because you must know who is prophet Muhammad
Samuelsa.
We don't worship him. Please, we are not
supposed to worship Him. He forbids
us but this is that Allah is telling
us how you should behave with the prophet
You want anything from the prophet? You just
have patience and wait.
That is why there is a place known
as Rawdah,
min al jannah.
Allah
created this place,
and the Prophet said, between my house
and my member where I give kutba,
there
is a rauda, an area known as rauda
It is like the garden of paradise.
Have you ever been to the?
I think most of us who have
been in Medina,
you will visit raodah.
Is there a special prayer for Raouda?
Is there a special prayer for Raouda? Is
there a special prayer for Raouda? Is there
a special prayer for Raouda? Is there a
Sunatan Roada, Allahu Bar Turakan.
No, please.
Please don't go into nonsense there.
You know you're just beside Prophet Muhammad.
You know the companions
honours and respects the prophet, not only when
he was alive,
but after his departure,
they would honor and respect him.
They don't raise up their voice when they
are close
to the
maqam of our Prophet, Subhasa,
with Adam.
You can
visit Aroda.
It so happens that it's Doha time, you
may pray turakat,
rakat, doha prayer.
It so happened that you never pray tarot
music, you are just coming in the month,
then you pray turkat
tahiatamishik,
but don't create
your own prayers.
No. None of the companions
performed it. The prophet also never taught us
this.
It's just a reminder
because there are people who
fight for Rouda,
you know,
very impatient,
But those who have a space in order,
he refused to move.
If possible, 1 hour, 1 hour he wanted
to stay there. It's very selfish.
Gives people some space.
Alhamdulillah. We Asians, the Malaysian, is very respected.
Alhamdulillah. You know,
when I travel
for Umrah or Hajj,
especially the non Asian when they see it,
I say Malaysian, Malaysian.
Oh,
good,
good. I also don't know what they mean
good. Nation food is good?
Nation people? I don't know. You see, nation
people are very polite.
Soft people, we are the soft ones.
They are the hard ones.
They come like a bulldozer.
They push you. They don't care. If you
don't move, they move you.
But we, Malaysian,
we give way.
When people push, we give fear. That's why
we got split very fast, you know.
We are not strong. We don't hold,
yeah, strongly.
We can't. I have been
bringing Jum'ah
for Hajj for more than 30 over years.
Umrah
also more than that.
I always remind my group, stay strong.
Hold on.
Don't let anybody break our defense.
Just 2 minutes, gone.
I have a different strategy now.
I said, when you come in, I show
you point
areas.
Now anything happens, we are going to continue.
We will meet you at this point.
Okay?
Because our people are very soft. What can
I do?
I'm also soft.
I'm not the one who push and then,
no no, I don't do that.
But I just want to help the jama'ah
the first time,
You know, there are people who
just cannot tower off anymore
because they are first time father
and daughter, father and or mother and son.
I have a brief earthing.
Just the second round, gone case, and the
son just cannot continue
looking, mama, mama, where's my mother? I said,
carry on. No no no. Mother,
my
mother.
Well, hamdulillah, he loved the mother, Shukur.
So we just tried to stop at one
corner, take about a few minutes to look.
How can you see?
You can't see them anymore.
It's gone.
You see the heat. If you keep on
one day, you'll get migraine,
you know. The heat is moving so fast,
but because I have briefed them, the mother
was very very alert.
She just continued.
I said, anything happens,
we will meet at Safar.
That far.
When you finish your tower, you have makai
Ibrahim, pray to her, go towards Safar.
The mother followed.
The son stopped the tower.
I said to the son, you can stay
here
and keep on searching. I am going to
tawah. I'm not going to just
stop because of you. No.
Alhamdulillah, he followed my command. He stayed at
one point. I looked for him later on.
Of course, he cannot finish his tawah.
I said, let us go now. I have
to bring the other
to sign.
Can you imagine
the mother
has done the 2nd round of sign?
Mother has self confidence.
He just moves on. Alhamdulillah.
That experience I had, I was
almost
arrested.
Why?
When I saw the mother from Safa to
Marwa, the other side, I'm just coming in
here to go to Safa.
Now she is from that side going to
Marwa.
I forgot about who is in front of
me.
There is
some Arab leader
with all the security.
I forgot about them.
I just rushed.
I wanted
to contact the mother.
Then the school Jesus cracked me.
He thought that I was trying to ambush,
you know.
I also got caught. Why they stop me?
But alhamdulillah, they hold me tight. They call
the security. They put me aside. They thought
that I'm a terrorist or anything.
I said, I'm sorry, I'm sick. I'm just
looking for somebody.
So they bring me to one corner again,
asked me to check with me. I said,
I'm very sorry. I saw a woman, an
elderly like her mother, is around there.
They look at me, I think this guy
is a good guy.
He's not a terrorist.
Alhamdulillah.
I'm just sharing, yeah, how
when we do things, you must argue that
Malaysian
are known for their softness.
Around the
Nile.
Indonesian
colors or we are like Indonesian.
Indonesian no more.
They are so met with the Indonesian, even
their small size,
but they are tougher than the Malaysian.
They hold on like a dragon, you know.
Move.
No way. Small,
and they keep on going like that.
These gods, the the high people
get so upset, keep on hitting them,
You know, they are small,
but they are prepared to get all this.
So no problem.
Jihad is the jihad, you know.
Sometimes when you don't have a proper
adab, many things can happen.
So brother and sister,
look at the adab. The companion,
even the prophet Muhammad is no more alive.
When they are near to His maqam,
never one of them reach out to the
world. Nobody argue in front
of the prophet, subhanahu wa sallam.
So let us
check our iman because
if you don't show respect
to Allah and the prophet, and you respect
people more than Allah and the prophet
and you respect
scholars
more than what Amal said want
the prophet, all of us, is going to
have a problem,
you know, because Allah said,
No, you are not supposed.
You respect them
but there is a limit.
As long what they say is not against
Allah and the prophet, respect them.
When they say something against,
you have to
have your own stand.
You don't have to fight if you are
not ready
but at least
you hold to your principles.
I will not compromise.
This is how I train myself, brother and
sister. When I talk to my family
who are not yet Muslim,
my
uncle, my auntie,
they want to come comment about me. They
want to criticize the Muslim. I don't stop
them.
The minute they criticize Islam, I stop them.
Please don't talk anything bad about this religion
until you read
this book of the Quran.
Don't talk anything about my prophet until you
read his life history.
Then we discuss.
If you talk bad about me, I can
accept because I'm just a human.
I can be a bad Muslim.
You're Muslim also, you have the good, the
bad, and the ugly. Correct?
Have you experienced bad Muslim before?
No.
No.
Sometimes
doing business with Muslim and doing business with
not yet Muslim, which one is easier?
Not yet Muslims is easier.
Straightforward.
We are great, agreed upon us.
We have most names, Insha'Allah,
Insha'Allah.
Here's Insha'Allah,
You Allah.
May you so set.
When is Insha'Allah?
Buqra. Buqra. Go done. Buqra is tomorrow.
His tomorrow can be 1 year.
Yeah, I lived in
with the Arabs for at least 8 years.
One day I was so upset, I talked
to my friend.
I said, I think
in the day of judgement, the first group
people will go to hell is the Arabs
because they use the name of Allah Insha'Allah,
Manja'a,
you know, Bukra.
Oh, the word of Allah not to do
it.
They misused the word of Allah. They swear
with the name, Allah, Allah, won't learn. Never
happened.
But I think the Arab also is getting
better, inshallah.
Ramadan
always everybody getting better.
We hope we don't take anybody
as an example except
our prophet
He is the best model. Look at him.
Yeah.
May Allah protect us, brothers and sisters. I
know it's late.
Yeah. I have no intention to prolong my
the scarer. Hope that everybody
is getting more prepared
before Ramadan end.
Ends. Those
who have been informed about our
NMC Eidolifitry
Modlak
announcement,
please contact
Sister Anish.
I think she's still around for Lualapu Alam.
If she is around, yes, she is around
behind.
Look for Sister Anish if you are ready
to help
us to prepare
a potluck
for the river's
gathering after
8 prayers on 8th day.
Yeah.
Insha'Allah.
So
see you again
tomorrow. You know
not many nights,
yeah? Tomorrow
will be almost there.
Yeah. Tomorrow will be the last one?
Yeah, maybe tomorrow will be the last night.
Maybe.
Australia confirmed, the Fatou Amazis Australia said
Wednesday.
We Malaysia, not yet.
Because we have the committee to cite
the new moon.
Yeah.
So anyhow,
at least tomorrow we'll see
some of you again.
And for those who have been travelling,
because last night a lot of people said
to me,
we are travelling today.
I said, have a good safe journey back
home to your family,
and may Allah unite us again, inshallah.
wa bihamdiq,
wa bihamdiq,
