The pantry is empty, the fridge is empty, there is nothing there except for water.

And so the province is on the line and setting them goes to his next house.

And his wife says by the one who sent you with the truth, I have nothing except for water.

we don't have anything except for water. And so the province of Elijah said it um then goes back to the message after having gone to each one of his houses and he said May you leave who had that who is going to host this person.

And he was looking to the right and to the left, he was in need, even though he was riding on a mountain. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he says,

failure would be here, I'm in love Allah, Allah, the Prophet salaallah alayhi salam says, Whoever has a mount,

then whoever has an extra mount, then let them give it to the one who doesn't have a mount.

The prophets of Allah Islam is so amazing in his emotional intelligence, because there is a man who inspired his statement who has a mount, but he's in need. And so the prophets of Allah they sent him gives an example of something that will not make him feel embarrassed.

So Rasulullah sallallahu send them uses the example of a mount even though he has a mount. So then people are looking, who is he talking about? Well, this guy has a mount so he couldn't be it. And so the province of Elijah said them says, Whoever has a mount that let them give to those who doesn't have a mount.

beyond the religious literature about giving, is that the freeing thing about giving is that you are telling yourself that you have enough

And these are problems of extravagance and these are problems of surplus. And so in increasing in our sacrifice increasing and benefiting each other, always thinking of the other person. The province of Elijah send them says in the Hadith as reported by Abu Musab Ashanti.

And these concepts are very nice to hear about.

But they become very difficult to practice. But when they would find want and need, what they would do was they would gather a cloak, and they'd spread it.

And everybody would come and put whatever they had a food and they would put it on the cloak. Everybody would put it together. And then they would distributed amongst each other, be Surya all equal together. And so the province of Allah, Allah who sent it to me says, For whom money or enemy No, he says I am from them, and they are from you.

When there is a lack, that is when our show becomes very, very powerful. I want you to think back to the beginning of COVID. And everything that people stored, we were storing toilet paper, and we were storing all sorts of supplies. That's because of sugar. That's because of greed. We're not talking about that. The Prophet sallallahu sallam was the least concerned with the dunya and the prophets Allah light SLM, taught the Sahaba a spirit of sacrifice. Something beautiful that I remember one brother once told me years ago, that of the habits that he would do every Ramadan with his kids, is that every year they sit down, and they all pick one of their favorite items of clothes. is sacrifice something that's beloved to Allah Subhana Allah Absolutely. The amount mentioned, there's some levels of sacrifice that are forbidden, there's some levels of sacrifice that are mcru, there's some levels of sacrifice that are mobile, and there's some levels of sacrifice, or manifestations of sacrifice that are recommended. So what is the Mikado of the forbidden the forbidden is when a person sacrifices that which they are obligated to do religiously. So I have water.

And I need to make will do.

And I say to somebody to the next to me, no, you have the water, sir. I don't need it. I'll just make them know you have water. And so because you have water you're obligated to make will do. He doesn't have water. So he's allowed to make them. But I don't pass over what I have access to. So they mentioned that with regards to forbidden sacrifice, then they mentioned sacrifice that is mcru. It is disliked. And that is when a person offers up what is recommended religiously. So you have for example I have I'm I'm I'm in the first row,

I'm in the first row, and then I decide to the person behind my say no, no, you come you come to the front, I'll just go to the second row. So now you've opted out. And what is more rewarded with ALLAH SubhanA Tada. And so the scholars say you don't do that. If I am put in a position where I that I deserve, where I am to be rewarded by Allah subhanaw taala more like being in the first row, then I don't opt out of that for anybody unless they say, unless it is a scenario where you're going to cause harm. So I'm in the first row, and behind me is my dad, and my dad is going to be upset that I didn't let him come into the first row, right or someone of that where it's going to cause feelings

to be harmed or hurt or what have you, then they say there's no problem with that. So that's the second where it's it's mcru hits disliked. Then you have the third with difference of opinion. Some scholars consider it to be macro and some don't. Then the third is where it's MOBA. And that's your general. No, you go ahead of me in line, if I things with regards to the dunya. Basically, as you notice the macro and the Haram are both with regards to the deen as for sacrificing for the dunya it generally falls under the category of MOBA it's permissible, or it's recommended if a person is doing it for a virtuous reason, like the examples that we've seen with regards to the Sahaba of the

law and home. So we ask Allah Azza to make us of people who love to seek Allah Subhana Allah is pleasure. We ask Allah to make us of those who the dunya is insignificant in their eyes in seeking the Hereafter.
