00:00:00--> 00:00:07

Ah, has the most beautiful names and he is the most, he is perfect and he is perfect.

00:00:09--> 00:00:23

And Allah Subhana Allah free of our defects, and the loss of Hamlet, Allah, of course has the most beautiful, have names, and we ask them by every single name,

00:00:24--> 00:00:31

that he has some major big enough that you have named yourself.

00:00:32--> 00:00:59

Oh, oh, alimta, who hadn't been healthy. And I'm asking you by I'm asking you a law by every name that you have ever taught anyone of your creation. Oh anzaldo see key topic, or names that you have revealed. And also the names ask you by the names that you have revealed your names that you have revealed in your book.

00:01:02--> 00:01:02

Or

00:01:04--> 00:01:06

I will start 30 bV

00:01:09--> 00:01:18

or those names that you haven't even taught anyone yet, and haven't revealed to anyone yet. have kept it with you.

00:01:19--> 00:01:24

I asked you So look, this is very powerful ideas are very powerful.

00:01:25--> 00:01:32

Because you're asking ALLAH, you know, when we ask Allah we say, Yo, man, oh, Lord, who is All Merciful.

00:01:33--> 00:02:01

You when you're asking for forgiveness, you asked for mercy. And you mentioned them the name of Allah subhanho wa Taala Rahman Al Rahim, when you're asking for forgiveness, you call upon a law for the one who loves the one who loves forgiveness and you call upon Allah subhanho wa Taala by his names, but here in this ID, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is teaching us to ask him by all of his names,

00:02:02--> 00:02:15

every single one of them, even those that he has not even revealed. And that's we know that Allah Subhana Allah, that from this, Heidi, it's clear Allah, Allah has more than 99 names.

00:02:16--> 00:02:21

And so there are names that he hasn't even taught anyone yet. And then we ask.

00:02:23--> 00:02:24

And remember, when you make this,

00:02:26--> 00:02:26

this

00:02:28--> 00:03:16

will help you will help alleviate you of your concern and sadness and worries. So what you're saying here is related. What you're asking is related to your concerns. And thus if a person knows that he's a servant of Allah, that everything that is happening, Allah knows and Allah has all wise and if you know the names of Allah and if you know who Allah is, then it keeps you strong and keeps you firm. Why because if you know Allah is merciful, if you know Allah subhanho wa Taala strict and punishment, if you know Allah subhanho wa Taala is our role. Our Rahim Allah for

00:03:17--> 00:03:18

Claudia.

00:03:19--> 00:03:25

And he's you know, he's all knowing and all seeing you also know that whatever you may be going through,

00:03:26--> 00:03:34

you know that Allah knows what you're going through. And you also know that Allah would never burden you with anything you can't handle.

00:03:36--> 00:04:01

And so sometimes Allah subhanho wa Taala tests us worth a test. And you have we have to realize that whatever we are afflicted with, we are able to handle it because he will never test us with anything that we can't handle. But sometimes Allah wants us to be stronger and he gives us no option except to be stronger so that we can be stronger

00:04:05--> 00:04:06

and Allah knows

00:04:08--> 00:04:13

and that's why when you know a lot then you also realize that you should never lose hope.

00:04:14--> 00:04:17

Well, I so Mira Ella

00:04:18--> 00:04:22

in a hula yasumi rohilla lol powermill can

00:04:24--> 00:04:39

never lose hope in the comforting Mercy of Allah. For none loses hope in the comforting mercy of a law except for disbelievers. Why is it that one who loses all in the comforting Mercy of Allah why is it that he's a cafe?

00:04:40--> 00:04:44

Allah says lol common casual and only those were cafe.

00:04:46--> 00:05:00

Coffee room. Those are the ones who fall in despair and lose up and give up totally. Why is it that they in this verse, Allah calls them Cafiero Why? Because

00:05:00--> 00:05:17

Cuz as if they're saying you're a law, you don't know what I'm going through, I can't handle what you're going through. No, Allah knows what we're going through and he knows we can handle it. But as I mentioned, sometimes he gives us no option except to be stronger. Because he wants us to be stronger.

00:05:19--> 00:05:33

And he wants to raise our status. And sometimes he wants us to return to Him for sometimes when we are in a state of prosperity and ease, we don't come to the masjid

00:05:35--> 00:05:36

and then we lose our job

00:05:37--> 00:05:45

Mashallah, you wake up early in the morning, you come to the messages, and the brothers have Mashallah we haven't seen you here in a while.

00:05:48--> 00:05:52

It's nice to see you, brother. I just lost my job.

00:05:54--> 00:06:02

But that's sometimes that's a loss of Hi, reminding us sometimes he's testing us by taking something away from us so that we wake up

00:06:03--> 00:06:06

and come back to a loss of Hiawatha Allah.

00:06:08--> 00:06:08

And so

00:06:10--> 00:06:24

Allah knows what we're going through. And he's all wise. How often have we asked for something and later on? We say yeah, Allah hamdulillah you didn't give me such and such things because I have something but so much better now.

00:06:26--> 00:06:27

Allah is all wise.

00:06:29--> 00:06:35

And sometimes Allah doesn't give us something right away because he knows that we're not ready for what we're asking for yet.

00:06:37--> 00:06:38

Allah is all wise.

00:06:40--> 00:06:43

Melvin vocalic, adlam vipava

00:06:44--> 00:06:51

as Allah Gabby, goodness, min Koo Anak, he asked you buy every name that you have,

00:06:52--> 00:07:05

that you've ever named yourself with, or have ever taught anyone of your creation, or have ever revealed it in any book of yours, or kept it back.

00:07:06--> 00:07:12

In the knowledge of the unseen with you, I ask, by all your name

00:07:13--> 00:07:16

that you make or an integer.

00:07:21--> 00:07:22

So what's the first cure

00:07:23--> 00:07:25

for sadness and depression?

00:07:27--> 00:07:30

It's the recitation of the poor.

00:07:32--> 00:07:33

It's living by the poor.

00:07:35--> 00:07:40

So when you're asking Allah, Allah, make the Quran the life of my heart.

00:07:41--> 00:07:44

And Allah makes the core and the life of your heart

00:07:45--> 00:07:59

then it gives you the strength to be able to handle those concerns. Those worries and that's why the sadness will go away. You're asking a lot to make the plan the life of your heart.

00:08:02--> 00:08:06

And if you return to alarm

00:08:07--> 00:08:08

and you recite the Quran,

00:08:09--> 00:08:14

Allah subhanho wa Taala starts to cleanse your heart. And then you start to

00:08:16--> 00:08:20

enjoy the Quran and digelar are an robbia

00:08:22--> 00:08:25

like the growth in the life of my heart,

00:08:26--> 00:08:26

and then

00:08:29--> 00:08:29

you will be

00:08:31--> 00:08:34

connect to the ore and to the point where you don't want to stop reading

00:08:36--> 00:08:40

and that's why if you want to see your email, you want to test your email and test yourself What

00:08:43--> 00:08:48

do you want to know why you're so sad? so depressed, so concerned?

00:08:50--> 00:08:51

See how you are with the

00:08:54--> 00:08:57

awesome I have not a fan rhodiola was the fourth halifa

00:08:59--> 00:09:06

the third Khalifa, third holy fell of Islam was man of now fondo de la and he said la hora una

00:09:07--> 00:09:12

la la hora de una Mattia de un mn kalami rabina.

00:09:13--> 00:09:18

If our hearts were pure and clean, we would never get enough of the word of our nor

00:09:19--> 00:09:42

many we would want to read day after day, hour after hour, every moment that we have an opportunity, we will have to recite the Quran. Because this is the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so you ask a lot to make the poor and life the growth of your heart will neurosurgery and the light of my chest switch.

00:09:44--> 00:09:50

And the remover of my sadness with a hat

00:09:51--> 00:09:56

and the alleviation of my, my concerns and my worries

00:09:58--> 00:09:59

if you say these words

00:10:00--> 00:10:21

mentioned this device, and this device, you can find it in almost every major book, like Heston Muslim, you'll be able to find it in Sharla, alleviation of sadness, and anyone who does that a lot well and have a low hammer will host whatever Abdullah who makhana who follow.

00:10:23--> 00:10:29

Allah will take away the sadness and the worries, and he will replace it with happiness.

00:10:31--> 00:10:35

He will replace it with happiness. And that's why

00:10:36--> 00:10:47

even when you have faith, you might get tested and you will might be you might fall into sadness. Because the loss of hanworth Allah will test a people and he will test you according to your faith.

00:10:49--> 00:11:01

And so the people who are stronger in faith or they get the greater tests, and that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said, I shadow nasty, Bella and some of

00:11:02--> 00:11:10

the people who are tested and tried the most are the prophets and those who follow in their footsteps accordingly.

00:11:13--> 00:11:13

And that's why

00:11:15--> 00:11:19

the likes of Prophet Yeah, Oh Allah, he set up

00:11:21--> 00:11:23

a prophet and messenger of God.

00:11:25--> 00:11:25

Yet

00:11:26--> 00:11:27

he was

00:11:29--> 00:11:32

he had concerns and he had worried he was worried.

00:11:33--> 00:11:39

So much so that Allah subhanho wa Taala says, we'll be up but I now who mean Allah

00:11:41--> 00:11:43

will be up with it now who mean

00:11:44--> 00:11:45

for who can leave,

00:11:46--> 00:11:56

his eyes became white and many mini became blind. As a result, meenal herzan as a result of sadness,

00:11:57--> 00:11:59

the sadness of the loss of use

00:12:00--> 00:12:02

the sadness,

00:12:03--> 00:12:12

of the disobedience of his beloved children, he loved them so much, but he was though they were the ones harming him the most.

00:12:14--> 00:12:18

That is very hurtful when you love someone so much.

00:12:20--> 00:12:23

It's so much harm is coming from them.

00:12:26--> 00:12:49

That's something hard to take. Sometimes you'd love for your children. But your children sometimes are a test for you. And some parents go home and come home from work tired. They want to sleep. But they can't fall asleep because on a Saturday night, they don't even know where their children are.

00:12:51--> 00:12:52

They're worried

00:12:54--> 00:12:55

they love them so much.

00:12:56--> 00:13:01

Yet sometimes they causes so much grief.

00:13:02--> 00:13:11

It's hard to take, you make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala you supplicate to him, and sometimes the relief does not come immediately.

00:13:14--> 00:13:23

And so we and you say I pray five times a day on time. Most of the time in the messaging, I'm excited.

00:13:25--> 00:13:26

But all of this is happening.

00:13:27--> 00:13:30

Maybe Allah subhanho wa Taala wants us to be stronger.

00:13:31--> 00:13:33

And he wants us to

00:13:34--> 00:13:36

have a higher status in general.

00:13:37--> 00:13:42

And he wants our sins to draw up from our bodies like leaves.

00:13:43--> 00:13:46

On a went on on the wintering that day Listerine

00:13:48--> 00:13:53

and thus, Prophet yaku a prophet and messenger of God.

00:13:54--> 00:14:01

He cried and cried and cried until he became blind.

00:14:04--> 00:14:08

You know how hard it is how difficult it is to lose a child.

00:14:09--> 00:14:11

Especially at a young age.

00:14:13--> 00:14:18

For those who have children and their toddlers and their six, or seven or

00:14:20--> 00:14:35

you know how much of a connection you have with them, and to lose someone like that. That's very hard to take, you know, that is so difficult. And the society knows how difficult it is. You know, in America we have what's called Amber Alert.

00:14:36--> 00:14:38

If a child is advocating

00:14:41--> 00:14:43

on the highways,

00:14:45--> 00:14:49

on the roads and on TV, and my phone,

00:14:50--> 00:14:52

there's a message that comes to my phone

00:14:54--> 00:14:59

and it comes to everybody in the area and sometimes it comes to everybody in this

00:15:00--> 00:15:13

date. Sometimes it comes to everyone in the West Coast, millions of people are getting this message. If you see such and such a person or a car, report or report it to the police officer,

00:15:14--> 00:15:16

call the authorities.

00:15:18--> 00:15:21

A child is kidnapped, everybody knows.

00:15:24--> 00:15:31

People are being killed, shot, left and right. And I get no message of it whatsoever.

00:15:34--> 00:15:36

robberies are happening

00:15:37--> 00:15:39

every few minutes.

00:15:40--> 00:15:45

I don't get any alerts. But if a child is taken away from

00:15:47--> 00:15:48

or is lost,

00:15:51--> 00:15:52

everybody

00:15:54--> 00:15:55

is on the lookout.

00:15:57--> 00:16:14

Because they know what the parents are going through. Society knows how hard it is, and the mother and the father. And that's why the prophets and messengers they faced the most hardship. A lot tested them the most. And they went through the most difficult situations. Why?

00:16:16--> 00:16:17

So that we

00:16:18--> 00:16:20

can have an example in patience.

00:16:22--> 00:16:31

So that we can say they were patient. And they went through so much more than Id let me also be patient because they are the leaders of those who are patient.

00:16:34--> 00:16:43

And so reflecting upon the lives of the scholars of before the companions and especially the prophets and messengers of God.

00:16:44--> 00:16:49

They went through the most hardships. They went through the most difficulties yet they were strong.

00:16:52--> 00:16:57

We live in here think that we're going through a lot of hardship because of Islamophobia.

00:16:59--> 00:17:01

Nobody went through.

00:17:02--> 00:17:07

Like the Prophet went through these things like the prophet SAW that landed in Mecca.

00:17:08--> 00:17:09

Nobody.

00:17:10--> 00:17:13

They called him names. They strangled him.

00:17:15--> 00:17:23

They took the fetus, the guts of a camel, the blood

00:17:24--> 00:17:41

and fetus of the camel and they threw it on him while he was praying. And he continues to be in sujood until his daughter comes and she's crying and cleaning it off her father, Fatima rhodiola Juana

00:17:43--> 00:17:44

crying

00:17:45--> 00:17:48

and her father turns over turns to her

00:17:52--> 00:17:54

and says to her

00:17:56--> 00:17:57

I grieve not

00:18:00--> 00:18:01

for the the loss of high net worth

00:18:03--> 00:18:04

will take care of protective

00:18:09--> 00:18:11

he went through so much difficulties

00:18:12--> 00:18:13

and

00:18:14--> 00:18:14

we

00:18:16--> 00:18:17

do not ask for it

00:18:19--> 00:18:21

don't say yeah, no you know test me

00:18:24--> 00:18:35

No we don't we ask Allah subhana wa tada free us from all difficulties that's why he said it's Latvia ask Allah to alleviate you from all things difficult

00:18:36--> 00:18:56

to Manali. Allah I do is laugh Yeah, well, I can either learn to move on fast Butoh Don't, don't ask to meet the enemy. Even if you meet the enemy, then be firm. But don't ask me I remember I was speaking about the job. And one of the students says if I see the dead Yeah, I

00:18:58--> 00:19:05

said, No. Don't ask to go meet the job. If the job see you sees you he's gonna go.

00:19:07--> 00:19:22

Oh, no. You run away. You run away. You don't even know you don't know the trials and tribulations. This is the most difficult tasks that humanity will ever face and you want to face it?

00:19:23--> 00:19:39

No, no ran away. Our Prophet told us if you see you hear about him in the east, go to the west. You hear about him in the West, go to the east stay as far as you can, from our trials and tribulations. Don't ask for but if it comes, then be firm.

00:19:41--> 00:19:46

comes then be firm. And so reciting the Quran

00:19:48--> 00:19:48

is something

00:19:50--> 00:19:51

that we have to

00:19:52--> 00:20:00

make as a daily, daily thing for us. The reward of course is very great.

00:20:00--> 00:20:01

Another Day of Judgment,

00:20:03--> 00:20:05

your companion,

00:20:06--> 00:20:08

the one who will be able to help you.

00:20:10--> 00:20:17

It's not your buddy here and there No, is the poor and the poor and is your best buddy on the day of judgment?

00:20:18--> 00:20:28

Because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said if you're an recite the Quran for me know who you are to man up Amma Shafi only

00:20:30--> 00:20:39

recite the Quran for indeed on the Day of Judgment, it will intercede for its companions on that day.

00:20:42--> 00:20:42

And so,

00:20:43--> 00:20:45

of course, recitation

00:20:47--> 00:20:53

but also the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala will help us persevere through difficulties.

00:20:55--> 00:21:00

Allah subhanho wa Taala says, I levena am and what my papa my

00:21:01--> 00:21:04

boo boo boo. Be the Quran.

00:21:07--> 00:21:07

Allah

00:21:10--> 00:21:13

in no poo,

00:21:14--> 00:21:16

those who believe

00:21:17--> 00:21:18

those hearts

00:21:20--> 00:21:22

find tranquility and the remembrance of Allah.

00:21:23--> 00:21:30

For a deed in the remembrance of Allah do hearts it is in the remembrance of Allah do hearts, that hearts find tranquility.

00:21:33--> 00:21:36

Any emotional scar

00:21:38--> 00:21:40

will heal faster with the remembrance of Allah.

00:21:42--> 00:21:44

any difficulties you have,

00:21:45--> 00:21:46

make victory.

00:21:48--> 00:21:49

remember Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:21:51--> 00:21:55

remember Allah And also remember your blessings.

00:21:56--> 00:22:11

The blessings that Allah Subhana Allah has given to us when you concentrate on the blessings that you have, it will help you to persevere through the difficulties that are be falling apart that have afflicted you. And so, think about the blessings.

00:22:12--> 00:22:14

And think about

00:22:17--> 00:22:21

the greatness of Allah subhanho wa Taala. When you remember Allah,

00:22:22--> 00:22:25

Allah subhanho wa Taala puts your heart at ease.

00:22:27--> 00:22:29

Another thing The third thing that we need to do

00:22:31--> 00:22:33

and of course this is something we should do all the time.

00:22:34--> 00:22:41

But especially when you're going through difficulties increase in the amount of profit, the sooner prayers that you do.

00:22:42--> 00:22:48

The prophets of Allah Allah alayhi wa sallam said, Man ideally will end to open heart

00:22:49--> 00:22:50

whoever

00:22:51--> 00:22:56

shows enmity towards mine, when he

00:22:57--> 00:23:00

then I have indeed declared war upon

00:23:01--> 00:23:04

those who are close to Allah subhanho wa Taala. Whoever,

00:23:05--> 00:23:12

whoever shows enmity and or harm towards them, then they're at war with Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:23:13--> 00:23:23

Mata para la Abdi BA in hub de la Mathura to LA there is nothing that will bring you closer to Allah.

00:23:24--> 00:23:28

Then perfecting and fulfilling what is obligated upon

00:23:29--> 00:23:47

him do those that which is obligatory first and foremost, perfect those things. That's the most those are the most beloved acts to Allah subhanho wa Taala are the mandate that which is mandatory upon you to fulfill. And then he says, well, Maria is Allah Abdi kerabu, Elijah

00:23:48--> 00:23:49

had

00:23:52--> 00:24:01

and my servant will continue to come closer to me with supererogatory acts with certain acts. Until I love him

00:24:03--> 00:24:03

a lot. How

00:24:05--> 00:24:06

do we not want to earn the love of Allah?

00:24:08--> 00:24:09

One way is to increase

00:24:11--> 00:24:24

in our life, the sooner prayers, the sooner faster, giving charity, doing good deeds that are not mandatory, the more the more supererogatory extra deeds that you do, the more

00:24:26--> 00:24:30

Allah loves you. And if Allah for either to who

00:24:32--> 00:24:33

and if I love him,

00:24:35--> 00:24:42

then I couldn't do some over lady Yes, ma ob. Then I will be his hearing that he hears with.

00:24:43--> 00:24:48

Well, basado lady, you see Ruby, and his sight that he sees with

00:24:49--> 00:24:56

his hands that he uses with and his feet that he walks with.

00:24:57--> 00:24:59

Were in silence and if he were to ask

00:25:00--> 00:25:00

Meet

00:25:01--> 00:25:14

the man I would give him what he asked, willingness to have any lower ease and and if he were to ask, seek refuge in me, I would protect him,

00:25:15--> 00:25:16

I would give him refuge

00:25:18--> 00:25:19

and

00:25:22--> 00:25:28

thus, we want a lot of lovers, increasing these deeds and the loss of how will guide us

00:25:29--> 00:25:49

and if he loves us, then he will help us listen to not accept that which is pleasing to Him. He will help us look at nothing except that which is pleasing to Him. And it will help us not go to go anywhere and be in any place except that which is pleasing to Him.

00:25:50--> 00:25:54

So Allah subhanho wa Taala will help us do good deeds.

00:25:56--> 00:26:06

The more we come closer to Allah, the more Allah helps us and comes closer to us. And so

00:26:07--> 00:26:09

if you are were afflicted with

00:26:11--> 00:26:14

hardships and difficulties

00:26:16--> 00:26:16

then

00:26:18--> 00:26:21

just know that whatever

00:26:22--> 00:26:24

is happening to us,

00:26:25--> 00:26:29

we will inshallah be rewarded if we're patient

00:26:31--> 00:26:48

and we continue to be patience. And that's why Allah subhanho wa Taala but not just patience, remember increase in good deeds because he says, was there he knew the slavery was Sunnah. Seek help with patience, and prayer.

00:26:49--> 00:26:52

Seek help with patience and prayer. And

00:26:54--> 00:26:55

I'm not going to

00:26:57--> 00:27:00

take more of your time but I'm going to share with you another Hadith

00:27:02--> 00:27:04

the Hadith is from a woman,

00:27:07--> 00:27:08

Ansari

00:27:10--> 00:27:13

he was found sitting in the masjid

00:27:15--> 00:27:16

by himself.

00:27:19--> 00:27:21

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:27:22--> 00:27:26

walks in and sees the sadness on his face.

00:27:27--> 00:27:29

And he says to him, he

00:27:31--> 00:27:35

said, Oh, man, why is it that I see you here?

00:27:36--> 00:27:37

In a time

00:27:39--> 00:27:53

that maybe this is a time that most most most of the time the massages are full, but there's their particular downtimes when people are at work and doing things and he said, why did why is it that I see you and the time that

00:27:55--> 00:27:56

mustard is empty.

00:27:58--> 00:28:01

And so he says, Oh messenger of Allah.

00:28:04--> 00:28:05

sadness

00:28:06--> 00:28:08

and worries have overcome.

00:28:10--> 00:28:14

Never been I have been also overwhelmed by debts

00:28:16--> 00:28:19

and that's why he's there in the masjid. supplicating to Allah.

00:28:22--> 00:28:32

And the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam that says to him, yeah, oh, Mama, would you like me to tell you? Would you like me to teach you allow limca Kalimantan either puto when

00:28:34--> 00:28:41

would you like me to tell you something? The review to say, Allah will take away your worries

00:28:42--> 00:28:49

and will help you to fulfill your duty and we will help you to pay off your debts. Wow, Mashallah.

00:28:51--> 00:28:59

Not only is he going to take away our worries, he's going to help us pay our debts. And by the way, being in debt in Islam

00:29:01--> 00:29:26

is something that is looked down upon. So much so that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam would not pray for a person. If he had debts. He would ask that's how serious it is. But we're living in a materialistic society and a society where they are always telling us to buy things we don't need.

00:29:27--> 00:29:29

With money we don't have

00:29:30--> 00:29:32

at a price we can't afford

00:29:33--> 00:29:37

to impress people we don't even like

00:29:38--> 00:29:49

every day we're being told by this and by that you need this and you need that. The iPhone six comes out and the iPhone five is perfect until the sixth thumbs up.

00:29:51--> 00:30:00

Is there anything wrong with the previous iPhone? No. But oh no, the six if you press it, the pictures move. How often are you

00:30:00--> 00:30:01

going to be using that now.

00:30:03--> 00:30:14

But you know what, you just got one last year or less than a few months ago. But you know what? It's no longer perfect. Why? Because the six just came out.

00:30:15--> 00:30:23

And it has this feature in that or not, it doesn't it has one new feature probably. Sometimes that's high, and then they're saying that you need it. No, you don't need it.

00:30:24--> 00:30:32

And that's why if you can't afford something, don't buy it. If you don't know what it means to live within your means. You're never going to be happy.

00:30:35--> 00:30:39

And that's why in this society, they tell you, it's okay, put it on credit.

00:30:40--> 00:30:43

You know, in America, the average American

00:30:45--> 00:31:00

has over $10,000. In depths, the average American, there's so many people so much more. average american is over $10,000 in debt. Because they're being told it's okay to spend money you don't.

00:31:01--> 00:31:08

But these debts, these mortgages, when you fall into debt,

00:31:09--> 00:31:12

these are the things that keep you up at night.

00:31:15--> 00:31:25

And that's why if you can't afford it, don't buy everything you want. There's a difference between the want and need. Don't mix the two up.

00:31:26--> 00:31:57

If you need it fine. Yes. Buy it. But if you just want it, think twice before you buy it. No, no, no. It doesn't mean that you don't buy everything. You don't buy anything you want. No. Sometimes you if you have the money, it's okay to buy. But if you can't afford it, try to live within your means. And so the Prophet sallallahu wasallam says to him, he says say these words. When you wake up in the morning mean when say these words in the morning you've asked or either

00:31:58--> 00:32:15

in the morning after fudger for example, and the afternoon after us say these words and the loss of Hamlet I would take away your sadness and your worries and help you pay off your debts.

00:32:16--> 00:32:20

What is it? What are these words? Say?

00:32:21--> 00:32:31

aloha my inner will be coming in harmony with us. Oh Allah. I seek refuge from our worries and sadness

00:32:32--> 00:32:34

will be coming on jugni will

00:32:35--> 00:32:36

and I seek refuge

00:32:38--> 00:32:42

from cowardliness and miserliness.

00:32:43--> 00:32:46

There we go. Well, wait, what is mine of being miser have to do with it.

00:32:47--> 00:32:51

People who are miser are the saddest people on earth.

00:32:52--> 00:32:55

People who are generous, are the happiest people.

00:33:00--> 00:33:06

Not just from an Islamic standpoint, even psychologically even studies have been done. In fact,

00:33:08--> 00:33:17

there was a there was a study that was done at Harvard University, they gave some money to a group of people and they said spend this on yourself.

00:33:18--> 00:33:36

Spend this on yourself, treat yourself with this money. And then they gave another group of people, they said spend this on somebody else, make someone else happy. At the beginning of the day, they will you know, from a scale of one to 10, what's your level of happiness?

00:33:37--> 00:33:42

At the end of the day, what's your level of happiness after you spent that money on yourself?

00:33:43--> 00:33:54

And what's your level of happiness here, you guys, those who have taken the money and tried to make other people happy? What's your level of happiness, they found that over 95%

00:33:55--> 00:34:14

of the people who did not spend on themselves, but spent it on others who are more happy at the end of the day. And these guys were still at the same level, even though they spent it on themselves and they treated themselves they were less happy than those who tried to make other people happy with their wealth. So

00:34:15--> 00:34:17

don't believe

00:34:19--> 00:34:26

the saying that says money cannot buy happiness. No. Money can bring happiness, but don't spend it on yourself.

00:34:28--> 00:34:29

Give it away.

00:34:31--> 00:34:40

And then you will see make other people happy. Money can bring happiness, but spend it on others. Be generous because generosity

00:34:43--> 00:34:44

makes you happy.

00:34:45--> 00:34:49

We have been Allah created us to be generous.

00:34:51--> 00:34:53

And if we're not generous, then you won't be happy.

00:34:56--> 00:34:59

And say, well, we became in a bit of elevated

00:35:00--> 00:35:02

And I seek refuge in You

00:35:03--> 00:35:04

from the

00:35:05--> 00:35:10

overwhelming debts, overwhelming of debts and the oppression of men.

00:35:11--> 00:35:17

These are the things that make people very sad debts and oppression.

00:35:18--> 00:35:38

So you seek refuge in those things. Never Allah gives you a lot of response to your do I in sha Allah, the sadness will go away and your debts inshallah will have been paid for. Allah will help people to pay your debts by giving you the risk that you can spend, say these words in the morning

00:35:39--> 00:35:41

and say these words in the afternoon.

00:35:42--> 00:35:46

Islam does not guarantee that you'll always be happy.

00:35:47--> 00:35:54

But it gives you the tools to handle it when you're sad, and worried and concerned.

00:35:55--> 00:35:56

And then another thing

00:35:57--> 00:35:58

that keeps people

00:35:59--> 00:36:07

you know, busy and worried is that they're concerned about things that they shouldn't be concerned about. A lot of little things that we're worried about.

00:36:10--> 00:36:25

That don't concern us, caused us to be sad, also, and they shouldn't and that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned the Hadith I you guys know the joke Where have you heard the joke? Why did the chicken cross the road?

00:36:26--> 00:36:30

You heard the joke? Who's heard it before? Why did the chicken cross the road?

00:36:32--> 00:36:34

Do you know that in the center, there's an answer for it.

00:36:36--> 00:36:44

Why did the chicken cross the road? The answer for it and this is like the final answer after this. You don't need to discuss this matter anymore.

00:36:46--> 00:37:03

No more difference of opinion here. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Mr. Snell Islam and Mark Turku melayani of the excellence of a person's Islam. He leaves that which doesn't concern him. Who cares why the chicken cross the road?

00:37:05--> 00:37:23

That's the answer. Don't worry about it. You won't have any problems with it. as Muslims we are not concerned with things that are you know, especially with the internet as there are times when this address comes up. Is it purple, green or blue? What was it color, gold or something?

00:37:25--> 00:37:31

White Gold blue and black Mashallah, one dress can have five others, like all the same at the same time.

00:37:32--> 00:37:43

Like I'm not talking about different spots of it. That dress is one color only, but everyone is saying it's different. And the whole discussion, I wake up one morning, everybody's talking about the color of a dress, I will be like,

00:37:44--> 00:37:47

who cares about the color of this dress?

00:37:48--> 00:37:50

Like, there's so many things that

00:37:51--> 00:38:02

we waste our time with that act take our valuable time. And they're things that we shouldn't be concerned about. Like

00:38:03--> 00:38:10

not saying that you shouldn't play sports or watch sports or anything like that, but you don't need to cry if Manchester City loses to Manchester United.

00:38:12--> 00:38:13

You do have to

00:38:14--> 00:38:15

it doesn't happen often, right?

00:38:18--> 00:38:22

But you don't need to cry. I mean, it's okay. Don't but you know, it's not that big of a deal.

00:38:24--> 00:38:27

You're not losing anything. Right? Just

00:38:28--> 00:38:36

put your priorities straight. Focus on the pleasure of Allah. That because that's where happiness is.

00:38:38--> 00:38:41

When sadness comes, you're strong enough you can carry it.

00:38:43--> 00:38:45

You can handle it and you'll be stronger.

00:38:47--> 00:39:11

So we asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to teach us that which benefits us and benefits from that which has taught us which is eco Haydn or sell a low at any Vina Mohammed ladadika he was so happy with them. Before I go into I just want to remind that I'll be here, myself and community the Muslim instructors will also be here on Sunday, the third for infest. I think some of the brothers are out there also. So I hope to see you all there.

00:39:20--> 00:39:33

circle here to shake up the barrier here for visiting those who shall not take your time I was scheduled to benefits inshallah. And just one final announcement this Friday inshallah the Juma football will be delivered by Shakira Ibrahim encourage everyone to attend inshallah.

00:39:36--> 00:39:36

Allah,

00:39:37--> 00:39:38

Allah, Allah, Allah and
