Zahir Mahmood – The Day of Judgement #14 A light reckoning

Eventually, the reckoning will start and Allah will

come.

And your Lord will come and the angel

will come row upon row and Allah Subhanahu

Wa Ta'ala will bring the anbiya,

the shuhada, the siddiqeen

and then the reckoning will begin. Imagine

that day where every single person is now

waiting for him to be called out. They

will say, come

out.

Come out. When they call your name Falah

ibneflaah,

even if there's a million individuals

who have the same name and the same

father name as you, you will know it

is you. And the angels will come and

then they will take you toward Allah Subhanahu

Wa Ta'ala. Imagine

that moment

where you will have to stand in front

of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Imagine that moment

where your name will be called out, your

legs will become like lead. Your heart will

begin to throb. Your heart will want to

jump out of your mouth. Your mouth will

begin to dry. You will begin to perspirate.

You will shake and you will shiver

and then you will stand in front of

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and Allah Subhanahu Wa

Ta'ala will begin to question you. The Messenger

of Allah Sallallahu Wa Salam was once praying

salah and once he was praying salah he

made a dua. Allahumaha

sibnihisaaban

yaseera.

Oh Allah, when you reckon me then give

me a light to reckon me. Aisha radiAllahu

anhu heard this, she waited for the message

of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam to finish

the salah. After salah he said, oh, Messenger

of Allah, why did you make that dua

for? The Messenger of Allah in reality wasn't

making the dua for himself, he was showing

the

Ummah. Said, O Aisha,

the hisaabun

yaseelah,

that light reckoning

is when Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala calls his

servant

and he says to him, did you do

this? And he says, yes, and he overlooks

it, and he overlooks it, and he overlooks

it, and he forgives him, and he enters

him into Jannah. As Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

speaks about the hissab and yaseera in the

Quran.

He

who has given his book in his right

hand

will have a light

reckoning. Let me give you an example of

a light reckoning. On the Day of Judgment

the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said

Allah will call one of his servants

and Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala will move forward so

nobody else can hear what Allah is saying

to the servant. And Allah will say, oh

my servant you committed this sin on this

day. He will say yes. And then Allah

will recount all his sins and then Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will say, oh my servant

like I hid your sins in the duniya,

I am gonna hide your sins today. I

was actually thinking

why would Allah do this for this individual?

Maybe this was the individual

who hid the sins of other people in

this dunya and on the day of judgment

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

hid his

sins.
