bla Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah. While early he was on the agenda in a Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato. Mighty brother brothers and sisters, when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made that great journey from Mecca to Medina, the hijra, this news reached to the Muslims who were readily anticipating the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for the vast majority of the people who were residing in El Medina, who are known as the unsought, the helpers, many of them actually had never actually met or even seen the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They had just heard about the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam and

believed in him and loved him and had submitted to Allah Subhan Allah to Allah. So the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam on his journey from Mecca to Medina, a journey which took about 11 or 12 days, very, very difficult, very harsh conditions going through the desert. We were coming closer to the time. The Muslims of course in Medina, were unaware, when actually that the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam was going to arrive in Medina. So every morning after salata, Ferdinand, the sun had risen, the Muslims, they went out and they looked in the direction that they thought that the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam was going to arrive, and they remained there, women and children,

everybody waiting there to see the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, only when it became too hot when the sun had reached, you know, maybe 10 or 11 o'clock in the morning, it was too hot for them to remain out, they went back to their homes. And then they did the same for the following day. And then the following day, they used to be residing in Medina with the two tribes who have embraced Islam, and also when the huzzah Raj, these were the two main tribes who have embraced Islam in in Medina. So alongside the two tribes that accepted Islam and also will has a lodge there were three other tribes who also resided in Medina been Takenaka Benadryl here, and Benno Cordova. Now

Well, how it happened is that Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Anhu happened to be in front of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi salam had taken a rest just underneath a tree, the people thinking that Abu Bakr because they had never seen for many of them, they had never seen the Prophet salallahu Salam. They thought that Abu Bakr was Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam so many of them rushed towards Abu Bakar embracing him addressing him we are so happy for you to be here. Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Allah.

He said, It is the messenger of Allah. So I tell him that you were looking for he is there resting underneath the tree. The people were so happy and so many of the Muslims mentioned. We have never seen a happier day in El Medina than the arrival of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam in El Medina.

Everybody came out of their homes everybody, women and children and men, old and young. They came out to greet the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, this was a defining day for all of them. This was a day that they had been waiting for for so long. Those tribes who were previously upon polytheism then Allah subhanaw taala revealed in Quran that Allah subhanaw taala mentions in Surah too early and marohn with Kudo Nitin Matala, he Alikum if Koon to my mother, and remember the blessing that Allah subhanaw taala gave to you that one day, once upon a time that you were enemies fighting amongst yourselves for a leper vainikolo become that Allah subhanaw taala joined your

So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he greeted the Muslims and the first thing that the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa salam did was what was to build a place of worship, to build the Masjid. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered the Muslims to build a masjid Kuba which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam informed us that up to raka in this particular Masjid to deal with Amara. The first Masjid in Al Islam is Masjid Kuba, in which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said the praying to raka inside it is equal to the reward of one

As you have been the Medina was once a very very small city and it was not connected to Masjid Kuba. However nowadays we find that the houses and the roads everything is joined together. So it is as though mustard Kuba is actually part of Medina. However, at the time of rasool Allah so I still am these were two very separate places. So the Prophet alayhi wa sallam arrived in Kuba area and stayed there for about just over 10 days and built the Masjid. Then the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam arrived in El Medina, the center of Medina and again the first thing that he did sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was the ordering of Mr. Du nibbly, in which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

informed us that praying in it is equal to alpha Salah is equal to 1000 Press. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam acquired the land from two young orphans who wanted to donate the land as a gift to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the Prophet sallallahu anisum did not want to accept it as a gift. But the Prophet SAW Selim then of course, built the masjid on top of that, this is how willing the Muslims were Subhanallah to dedicate their wealth, their survival for Allah subhanaw taala sake, whatever property they had, they wanted to give it for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala and dedicated to the cause of Islam. While the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam was

having the masjid built, where was he going to stay? The Prophet sallallahu ala Selim said, Who is the closest of my relatives here, none other than Abu Ayyub Al Ansari are the Allahu Anhu was one of the closest relatives to the Prophet sallallahu wasallam from his mother's side. So the Prophet alayhi wa sallam resided in the house of Abu Zubaydah and Saudi why the masjid was, was being built. Again we see the importance of building a masjid and a place of worship, worship for the Muslims. And we take lesson from this, that wherever the Muslims they are, wherever they are in the world, that the most important place for them to establish themselves in any community is to build a

masjid. It is where the people they will establish the congregational prayer. It is where they will teach a slum is where people will come to discuss the matters of their faith. It is the single most important place that the Muslims come together and as we know, the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam said, The humblebee no deal Allah masajid to her, that the houses of Allah subhanaw taala added the places of worship, that they are the most beloved places to Allah subhanho wa Taala also the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, because we are talking about what the from the first things that the Prophet salallahu alayhi salam did upon his arrival in Medina, is to join the Muslims together. The

joining of the Muslims together is one of the most important acts that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did when he first arrived in Medina, we know that they were the answer. Those people who originally resided in Medina, they are called the helpers and they were from two tribes called and also when Huzzah, Raj and then there were the Mohammed rune, those who had left everything in MK, all their property, their family, everything that they owned, maybe only carrying a few things with themselves. Here they were in in Medina with very little to survive upon. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made and established a brotherhood between these two groups of people. The Prophet

salallahu Alaihe salam to one person from the unsought and one of the more hygiene had made them as brothers.

And one beautiful example of this is the example of a sad ignore a beat, or the Allahu Anhu was from the unsought and also Abdul Rahman or the Allah one who was from the more hygiene. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam commanded them to be equal and be fair with their new brothers, to embrace them and to help them establish themselves in the new lands. if a new brother were introduced to we come across, what kind of feelings do we have to that new brother and that new Muslim? Of course, none of them is asking us to give away half of our wealth or any of our wealth, but what do we put forth for our new brother and our new sister which who may be in need? Just show me where the marketplace is. May Allah subhanaw taala Bless you, bless your wealth, bless your family, just simply chose to show me where the marketplace is. And then Allah subhanaw taala will provide for me Subhanallah this was the sacrifice that this particular companion

are the companions in general, that they were willing to give to one another Allahumma barik. We take great lesson from this, in that we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Allah, you may know that none of you will truly believe. How dare you humbly fe, now you humble enough so that none of you will truly believe until he loves his brother, when he loves for himself, that that person is willing to make a sacrifice from that what they have, and to dedicate it and give it to their brother or their sister. Not because I want to do away with and I want to make a sacrifice, no, but because the love and the brotherhood that has been established between us,

established between us by Allah subhanaw taala in the middle, we know that the Brotherhood of the Muslims are about a brotherhood, a person is from the quickest to establish that brotherhood and to show Allah subhanaw taala the sacrifice that they are willing to make. And we know that shortly after that a Brahma Dibner Oh for the Allahu Akbar, that he got married Subhanallah maybe within a very, very short space of time, he got married to one of the

Sahaba yet from El Medina and eventually became one of the richest people in Medina Subhanallah it said, it is said about him, that he used to give away so much money in charity, and the at alasa panel to add us to replace that wealth that he used to give away. This is from a person who truly relied on Allah subhanaw taala and truly trusts Allah subhanaw taala and whoever does that will never lose and never do without. These are the two most important things that the Prophet salallahu alayhi salam did when he first entered into Medina is to establish

the building of masajid and to bring the Muslims together. And similarly the establishment of brotherhood between the unsought and the MaHA Jeannine so that these two communities then became one community, they became like one body, and this is exactly the teachings of Islam. And we see how straight after that, that Allah subhanaw taala gave them so many blessings in their actions. Allahumma barik May Allah subhanaw taala join our hearts and allow us to establish brotherhood and sisterhood amongst ourselves.
