I Love You

AsSalamu Alaikum and welcome to another episode of forgotten sinners. Today we're going to be talking about loving someone for the sake of Allah.

It is narrated in certain Timothy that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, either I have had a heart failure a limb who Yeah, he said, so I send them if any of you loves their brother than they should let them know also, we have the hadith of Anna's mentioned in the Muslim email, where Anasazi alone says, One day I was sitting with the Prophet sallallahu send them and a man came to us and he said to the prophets, I send them he said, O Messenger of Allah, I love this person. The person who sent him then replied to him and said, did you let him know? And the man said, No, I sent him then said comb for him who he said get up and go, tell him go inform him. So this person he got

up and went to that man and he said to him, will lie in Nila buka Villa, he said, I swear by Allah, that I love you for the sake of Allah and the man replied, a head back and let the above 20 fee meaning May the one for whose sake you loved me, love you as well. So what do we learn here? First of all, we learned that loving someone in our heart is not enough that love should be expressed. And yes, we express love in different ways. But here are seldom is telling us that we should verbally express that love and that is why the person said I'm told that man go and tell him go let him know inform that person that you love for the sake of Allah. We also learned the Sunnah of how to tell

someone that you love them and that is to say, I love you for the sake of Allah. And we also learn the reply to that statement, and that reply is me the one for who said, You loved me love you as well. Now what all this talk about loving someone for the sake of Allah, what does it actually mean to love someone for the sake of Allah even though the topic of loving someone for the sake of Allah is a lengthy topic, but a few things to keep in mind first of all, that you love them for the goodness that is in them, meaning that goodness only increases us in love for them. It isn't just a superficial type of love, but a love that is based on piety, taqwa and goodness. Secondly, it is a

type of love that is tied into our spirituality, our faith, our Eman And we see an example of this in the Hadith of the person, send them where he said none of you will truly believe until they love for their brother, what they love for themselves. Notice here the combination of love and belief and for us as believers that is tied in together that even other human beings when we express our love for them when we love them, that love is tied into our faith, our Eman in our relationship with Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah and Allah subhana wa tada knows best.
