And though we don't say it in those brutal terms, our attitude reflects that at times where we go through these phases in life. And we failed to take into consideration the people that loved us through all of those phases. The people that stood with us through all of those phases, and with the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there is no shortage of examples. is the love and the consideration that you give to those people. And by the way, a lot of times we restrict this and we only talk about the parents and the parents have a position that no other person can possibly have. Allah subhanaw taala associated his right to be worshipped with the right of the parents to be respected and honored. Why because just as Allah brought you into absolute existence, your parents brought you into existence in the partial sense. And just as a lot guided you in the absolute sense, your parents guided you in the partial sense they were there for you, when no one else was there free. So no matter what you never have the right to not show them that

love in that respect in that honor. Even after they pass away, you still owe them you still have to show loyalty stuff, you still have to make do out for them. You still have to give charity on their behalf every single day of your life, you should not allow them to escape your memory but you know what, what about everybody else in life.

And unfortunately, we live in this age of narcissism where it's all about your own happiness and your own happiness whether that makes the entire world unhappy, it's okay as long as you're happy. As long as I'm happy and we go through these phases and we torture people through our phases Subhanallah we torture people through our phases you go through a midlife crisis and then instead of wanting to buy a new car you want to go get a second wife

not because you want to you know take care of a widow or fulfill any type of meaningful sooner but hey you know I need a change in life I need to move on almost all the a lot of times I'm a woman wants a man once came to a model the allotted time everyone says that you know I want to divorce my wife or mother with the low tide and who says you know why? Why all of a sudden Do you want to divorce your wife? He says that

you know, it's no longer those people. That's not the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu. It was Sunday. That's not who he was. And there were people that loved you. And that stood by you, when there was absolutely no reason for them to benefit in this world. Nothing.

And they prayed for your success. And all they wanted to see was goodness in you. And the only thing you can give them is that I would die for you. And you know what, if you're ever in a car accident, and you ever need a kidney, I'll be there for you. Doesn't work that way. It's a daily form of respect and appreciation and consideration. It's a daily recognition. It's a daily form of sugary, but the prophets like Selim used to give to the people around, he never wants to the mount has an unbeliever hang on Allah to Allah says that because of one week of torture that beloved, the law and who faced Missoula say some never let him see a sad day in his life after that.

But there's this just this this sense of respect and love, and companionship.

Why? Because yeah, it's not exciting anymore. But you were there for me when times weren't so exciting in life, you were there. Don't ever fail to appreciate those people. Don't ever fail to take them into consideration. As you go through your dark moments, don't drag them into your darkness.

Continue to protect them and protect their happiness the way they try to protect yours. And don't stop making your art for them. And just as you say that you would die for them live for them as well. We ask that we ask Allah subhanaw taala to grant us that quality and to make us have people that show gratitude to our parents that show gratitude to our spouses that show gratitude to our siblings that so gratitude to our children that so gratitude to our friends, to our teachers, to those that stood by us in our difficult times. We ask Allah Subhana Allah Allah to grant us the opportunity to repay them in this dunya so that we are not held accountable for them on the in the
