That's just not the case. Those are good deeds. Those are good deeds. But that doesn't mean that my search for guidance is over. I already graduated from the school of guidance. Now I need to make sure other
people graduate. No, no, no, no, no, I'm on my quest myself. So actually, as they become better, they become even more concerned with their own commitment to guidance. This is a really powerful thing, because very often in religious psychology, Muslims and other religions, when people become committed to a religion, and they start believing that they have transformed, and they start believing that they are now they're reformed. They're, they're born again, like the Christians call themselves born again. Right? Or we say we've made Toba or, you know, Alhamdulillah, Allah guided me now I'm guided now I've changed now that you feel like you've changed, you start feeling like I need
to make sure everybody else changes.
Because I already I'm past that I used to have this problem many years ago, man, I see myself in you. I used to be like you, but Hamdulillah. I'm here now. And okay, so you you left that darkness. But there's another darkness that you need to confront. And then another one that I need to confront, and then another one that I need to confront, you understand the horizons of the darkness change, and I have to remain vigilant. And then the moment they see the teacher walk away, they're like fruit off. And then you know, you know what that is, they failed the test of personal responsibility. They fail the test of not being able to handle what freedom. Musa alayhis salam keeps a watchful eye on these guys. But when he walks away, now they're being tested with freedom. come back down. Because that was guaranteed right there hoping that things work out in this life. That's their relationship with their religion. Musa instead of our religion we turn to Allah not our number one relationship with Allah is not to get what we want in this life. Allah keeps telling us in the Quran over and over again, this life is temporary, it's filled, it's filled with tests. I will test you with good, I will test you with bad he keeps telling us this to give us perspective and the next life is the ultimate life. Why is he saying this over and over again? Because you shouldn't get obsessed with why this life? Mankind Have you read to the agita. even Allah says
people who just want this life, they want immediate results. They want something solved immediately. But two people of the Israelites had seen religions in Egypt. And they have been influenced by other cultures where people go and want their wishes, and they go to their gods and they make their wishes and Musa alayhis salam has gone and he's gone for more than 30 days. Islam. And a lot of them have to do with getting your prayers and your wishes answered. You can go to places in the world where some married couple cannot have a child or when they have a child they keep having a daughter a stock for Allah, how can you have a daughter right?
