The Story Of Samiry #02

We spoke last about the story of samedi, we didn't really get to samedi actually. And you will think that it's almost two different stories with one common point everything else seems to be so different. And that's because Allah is focusing on different things in different parts of the Quran. So the part that I'm going to recite to you or read from that we started reading from and I'm

That's just not the case. Those are good deeds. Those are good deeds. But that doesn't mean that my search for guidance is over. I already graduated from the school of guidance. Now I need to make sure other

people graduate. No, no, no, no, no, I'm on my quest myself. So actually, as they become better, they become even more concerned with their own commitment to guidance. This is a really powerful thing, because very often in religious psychology, Muslims and other religions, when people become committed to a religion, and they start believing that they have transformed, and they start believing that they are now they're reformed. to make sure everybody else changes.

But there's another darkness that you need to confront. And then another one that I need to confront, and then another one that I need to confront, you understand the horizons of the darkness change, and I have to remain vigilant. You'll see that because actually, those kids failed the test of personal responsibility. Every one of those kids could have sat in and my teacher expects me to be here. I

know where I'm supposed to be. I know why my parents sent me to school. I know what I'm supposed to be doing, you know, with my time here and my purpose here. And then the moment they see the teacher walk away, they're like fruit off. And then you know, you know what that is, they failed the test of personal responsibility. They fail the test of not being able to handle what freedom. Musa alayhis salam keeps a watchful eye on these guys. But when he walks away, now they're being tested with freedom. Now, the idea that the young man recited actually gives us a hint, Musa Ali Salam was kind of worried about leaving. So before he left, he turns to how old are they Saddam? And he says, oh,

You angry, maybe even anger is twofold. He's angry at them. But he's angry at himself for not seeing what was coming, angry at himself for not going sooner. He's really sad that these people Allah has done so much for them. Why won't they just why? Why can't they just straight now? Why can't they do that? And he's also sad at himself. Why did I make this mistake? I shouldn't have come early. He's disappointed with himself. He's also sad. I put one responsibility I tell him to do one thing. I told him not to let the

I just really need to be the number one. I need to be the dairy king of my village. And then it'll

come back down. Because that was guaranteed right there hoping that things work out in this life. That's their relationship with their religion. Musa instead of our religion we turn to Allah not our number one relationship with Allah is not to get what we want in this life. Allah keeps telling us in the Quran over and over again, this life is temporary, it's filled, it's filled with tests. I will test you with good, I will test you with bad he keeps telling us this to give us perspective and the next life is the ultimate life. Why is he saying this over and over again? Because you shouldn't get obsessed with why this life? Mankind Have you read to the agita. even Allah says

people who just want this life, they want immediate results. They want something solved immediately. But two people of the Israelites had seen religions in Egypt. And they have been influenced by other cultures where people go and want their wishes, and they go to their gods and they make their wishes and Musa alayhis salam has gone and he's gone for more than 30 days. You can go to places in the world where some married couple cannot have a child or when they have a child they keep having a daughter a stock for Allah, how can you have a daughter right?
