Why does Allah affirm that
he knows all of those intricate details about that individual, there are limits, they say here, this is where Allah subhanho wa Taala tells the Creator, or is telling us that not only do I pay attention to all the major things, but I also pay attention to all the minor details in your life, those things that you might think I would just overlook, because there are more important things to deal with in this world. Allah is saying, I don't do that. But I am also aware of be that to sudo. I'm also aware of the things that are happening inside your chest, inside your heart. There's a practical way of looking at this.
You know, sometimes, like if you want to update your status on Facebook, okay, I use this example all the time, because that's where you get a lot of interesting people, right, with a lot of interesting methods and thoughts and ways they like to project their ideas and that sort of thing. Imagine if you update your Facebook today, right now, at this very moment, and you put a picture of yourself, or something else, you put a picture that you just cooked a meal, let's say you cook like some chicken fried rice or something. And you place that on your Facebook and you said, I just made this and you posted it.
Now, a guy might come along, or you one of your friends or some random person might come along and say,
here you are placing a picture of chicken fried rice. But we have children dying and suffering all over the world that don't have any water that don't have any food and don't have any drink. Isn't there anything else that you should do? We'll just go on Stop wasting your time. Stop wasting, stop misguiding the Oh man, it all started because you did you put a plate of chicken rice on your Facebook. And suddenly now you have ignored the entire dunya because of that plate of food for some people. This all goes back to the same concept here.
The reason why I mentioned this is because there is a greater picture, there are more important things to worry about. But you cannot forget yourself. You cannot forget all of the little things that you do that lead you to accomplish the greatest things in your life. You cannot expect to fail all of those small tests. And then when at the grand finale exam. You see what I'm saying? You cannot expect to ignore all of your minor responsibilities with Allah azza wa jal like for example, sometimes, you know, I'll occasionally even update my own Facebook and I'll just remind the people, the prophecy seller encouraged us to smile because smiling is charity. Then I'll have like the Billy
Joe Bob that will come on my Facebook and be like, I was a bit lame initiate on origin, what's your problem? You're supposed to be a die your scholar this and that. And you know, we have our brothers dying all over the country, you know, everywhere in the world. Like what do you want me to do? You know, what do you want me to say? You think if I put a Facebook post about all the problems in the world, I've really created a change. I've really done something like what do you expect from me? But the point is, is that you don't want to lose sight of those smaller things in your life. Because those are the things that will allow you or lead you to accomplish all the great things.
in your life, it's true with anything that you do. It's true with anything that you wish to to perform any task that you want in your life, you will want to make sure that you start off with the little things first. This theme is right here in this one verse, Allah azza wa jal doesn't have to tell us that he knows what's in our chest. He doesn't have to say that because He created us. So we already know that when you create something, you know everything about the mechanics of that thing, you know how it works, and you know how it's going to operate, but a lot of firms is because he wants us to know, even those little things that you do in your life, I'm watching you, even those
little things that you're performing, I'm taking those things into account. So the next time you do go and you smile for the sake of Allah azza wa jal to someone else, just so that you can get that charity, I'm counting it for you. And that one setup or that one, charity is an edge little reward for you. That one reward can pass you over from the wall between the Hellfire and into the agenda of Allah azza wa jal, and then the whole ripple effect happens. So Allah says in the hora de moon be that to sudo, this verse here when I look at it, I don't know if some of you might see the same thing. But it's terrifying for me. Allah doesn't just say I know what's happening in your hearts.

He's soft, he's gentle, he's kind he's courteous, he's loving. Why would you tell us that? Or what? What's the connection between this and what just happened here? Allah just finished telling us the secrets of the disbelievers. And sometimes they do it in secret sometimes doing in public, then a lot tells us I know exactly what's happening in your
heart. It's almost as if he left the image that this is like a real horrific scene that just happened. But then the next verse, Allah Yaga, woman hudec wahoo, a lot riffle habia. Again, Allah calms the emotion down, what Allah is doing subhanho wa Taala here in this particular verse, is Allah is breaking himself out of the evil thoughts of these group of people. Allah is saying, I'm not like them. Even though they may think evil of you, they may think evil of themselves, they may think evil of life in general. I am the complete opposite of that. I am an Latif and I am the hub here. I am soft and I'm kind and I'm courteous and Allah azza wa jal is far from all of these
individuals, a lot of people who have like depression and anxiety This is the parts of the quarter n that you got to pay attention to. This is how the poor and solves depression and anxiety and bipolar stress and all of these things. One of the ways the poor and solves this problem is the way Allah describes himself at the end of certain verses. You remember I told you, one of the most classical ways of studying Tafseer is to study how verses end and why they end this way.
Right now Allah could have said, well who realizes will hacking? Well who will have fooled Rahim? Well, who will Aziz will Kadir or something else out of all the 99 names and see fat of Allah so Allah can be chose any one of them. But specifically Allah chooses these two. This is the therapy of the Koran and how it works. Allah is calling those people who might get depressed and feel horrible after the worst days of their life, just dealing with the pressures each and every single day with work with children with stress with their e men, all of these different things. Allah is saying at the end, look. I am Latif and I am the hubby. I know what you're going through. But just remember,
I'm always here for you. Some of them are lemma they use this one particular verse and any verses that are similar to it. This is how you become a good counselor. People ask me all the time, how do I counsel? Because I've never gone to school to counsel. I've never taken a course learning how to counsel. But Alhamdulillah I've been doing it for almost 15 years now. And people ask me all the time, what's your training? Like? Where did you go? What did you study? I didn't study anything, except exactly what I'm studying with all of you. And that is the ending of these verses thinking about and really trying to contemplate why Allah ends off versus you because you want to know what's
the final message Allah leaves you with? After discussing whatever he discusses in that particular statement? What's the last message Allah leaves you with? That's how you become a good counselor. You become a good counselor, what's the message that you want to leave with those individuals that you're left with? Do you want to leave them with something positive? Do you want to leave them with something with hope they come to you with the quote unquote jahannam feeling that I'm going to the Hellfire, I've done everything wrong. You want to let them leave with that general feeling. You want them to leave your office and leave your you leave your circumstance that they always have hope, and
things will be okay. And that makes you also a person who has a lot you have that courteous is that softness in your heart. When you're soft. When you have all of these things in your personality, you become a person who listens, you become a person that understands the silver of their hole, and the gel of their cold. You're a person that you can understand and you can say to somebody you might be telling me that but I know inside of you you're probably thinking something else. You can start to make those kind of statements because you can start to read certain behaviors, certain words that you can start to look through. If you ever you ever hear like people they say you know, you got to
think outside the box. This is one of the reasons why when you look at Eben Tamia, his work and his work, these are the things that they do. I didn't develop the way that I would look at a verse like this. I didn't develop this on my own this this came from a lot of reading a lot of immunity Mia's works, train your mind to look at verses this way. This is why their work is so classic. It's so clean.
