00:00:21--> 00:00:22

00:00:23--> 00:00:24

00:01:12--> 00:01:13

do Muslim brothers

00:01:16--> 00:01:22

and respected guests from the non Muslims who are seeking to understand

00:01:24--> 00:01:25

the purpose of life

00:01:31--> 00:01:33

must be species concerning.

00:01:35--> 00:01:36

The purpose of life,

00:01:40--> 00:01:43

as I always mentioned is simply

00:01:45--> 00:01:47

a means of communication.

00:01:49--> 00:01:50

00:01:52--> 00:01:54

it's a very powerful, critical,

00:01:56--> 00:01:57

vital subject.

00:02:02--> 00:02:08

And before I enter the main point of the topic, let me first ask you

00:02:09--> 00:02:12

a question that may stimulate your mind.

00:02:17--> 00:02:21

Now many of you are and most of you

00:02:22--> 00:02:23

are educated.

00:02:27--> 00:02:29

well endowed

00:02:30--> 00:02:32

leaders in your own fields,

00:02:33--> 00:02:35

fathers, mothers,

00:02:37--> 00:02:38

00:02:40--> 00:02:42

sophisticated human beings.

00:02:47--> 00:02:52

But did you ever ask yourself the question, or a set of questions?

00:02:54--> 00:02:59

Do you know why you are here on this earth?

00:03:03--> 00:03:10

And when you die, and of course, there's nobody that has any doubt, regardless of what persuasion, what denomination,

00:03:12--> 00:03:16

what gender, what background, what church?

00:03:18--> 00:03:23

What religion system ideology, or Islam that you belong to, there's no doubt

00:03:25--> 00:03:29

that everybody in this room, one day will die.

00:03:32--> 00:03:35

Now, if there's anyone that has a doubt about that,

00:03:37--> 00:03:43

they then you're the only one that doesn't have to answer the question. What is the purpose of life?

00:03:47--> 00:03:55

Because you may be able to circumvent the consequences of the responsibility of that question.

00:03:57--> 00:03:58

Of course,

00:03:59--> 00:04:02

no one has any doubt about death.

00:04:03--> 00:04:10

For if the benefactor of life, the cause of life,

00:04:11--> 00:04:13

the creator of life,

00:04:14--> 00:04:15

the owner of life,

00:04:17--> 00:04:27

if that source of life had no other power over the creatures that have life, death would be enough evidence.

00:04:32--> 00:04:36

Where's your destination? I don't mean where you leaving from here.

00:04:39--> 00:04:41

But where's your destination?

00:04:42--> 00:04:48

You don't know where you came from. You say you were born. I mean before that.

00:04:50--> 00:04:51

Where's your destination?

00:04:56--> 00:04:57

Think about this question

00:04:59--> 00:04:59

and ponder it.

00:05:00--> 00:05:01

00:05:03--> 00:05:05

as we continue this presentation

00:05:06--> 00:05:26

now in the world that we live in, there are many beliefs, many religions, many philosophies that have been offered to satisfy or respond to this question, because human beings are the only creatures on the earth, or in the heavens.

00:05:28--> 00:05:30

Of course, we're speaking about

00:05:32--> 00:05:34

based on scientific fact,

00:05:35--> 00:05:36

we're not talking about

00:05:41--> 00:05:43

Metro Goldwyn Mayer

00:05:45--> 00:05:47

or Steven Spielberg,

00:05:48--> 00:05:55

or Disneyland, they have some other philosophies that they will give us the indication to believe.

00:05:56--> 00:06:10

But until now, there is no scientific evidence that there are any other creatures in the heavens on Earth, who has the intellect or the faculties of the capacity of human beings.

00:06:14--> 00:06:19

And because of the faculties that human beings are endowed with,

00:06:23--> 00:06:26

they have the exclusive ability,

00:06:27--> 00:06:28

the freedom

00:06:29--> 00:06:32

to think and feel,

00:06:33--> 00:06:35

and to say, I, me,

00:06:37--> 00:06:40

and to express what we call ego,

00:06:41--> 00:06:43

no other creatures have disability.

00:06:46--> 00:06:51

However, we know that, that even that ability is limited.

00:06:54--> 00:06:59

Because when the human being is a child, there is less ego.

00:07:01--> 00:07:07

And as the human being becomes older, there is even less ego.

00:07:10--> 00:07:20

The height of the human beings ego is at the height, of their strength, their development, their endowment, what they have what they call strength, possession.

00:07:22--> 00:07:25

But it lasts only an afternoon.

00:07:27--> 00:07:34

That afternoon might be in some cases, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, 60 years, 80 years.

00:07:36--> 00:07:41

But inevitably, the years of the human being passes quickly.

00:07:43--> 00:07:45

As the Quran says,

00:07:46--> 00:07:55

Well, holopainen in Santa PHY, a sanitec when summer that nahu, as Fela saffire.

00:07:56--> 00:08:12

And we created God says he created by his own power, the human being and gave him or her the faculties perfect balance, complete faculties of intellect,

00:08:14--> 00:08:24

intelligence, seeing, hearing, feeling, taste, touch, thinking, and the apparatus of the body.

00:08:26--> 00:08:28

We gave the human being a complete

00:08:30--> 00:08:35

set of faculties, that is created that human being with a mold

00:08:37--> 00:08:53

Filmora no as far as afni, but after that, after giving them endowing that human being with that perfect set of faculties from that now, as far as suffering, then we return him or her to the lowest of the low,

00:08:55--> 00:08:57

they lose the eyesight, they lose the hearing,

00:08:59--> 00:09:13

they lose the smell, they lose the touch, they lose the taste, they lose and depreciate even the physical composition, that is what the court said 15 almost 1500 years ago, is this the case? It is?

00:09:17--> 00:09:23

It is only human beings that have the ability to think, feel, imagine and explore,

00:09:26--> 00:09:28

to propose and to determine.

00:09:31--> 00:09:53

This these human beings have over their period of recorded history developed and put forward many different concepts and answers. And many writers, poets, sages, philosophers, prophets, and messengers, peacefully upon all of those prophets and messengers have come to tell us you and I

00:09:55--> 00:09:57

What is the purpose of life

00:10:05--> 00:10:06

Now to be literary,

00:10:10--> 00:10:11

we need to define life

00:10:12--> 00:10:14

as it applies to the universe.

00:10:17--> 00:10:28

And we don't mean to define life universally, because we cannot. It's too wide of a subject. It's too far and we haven't explored that much.

00:10:30--> 00:10:35

The time that man has been on this earth, man has come to discover a few things.

00:10:36--> 00:10:42

But relative to the size of the universe, man hasn't covered even a pin drop.

00:10:44--> 00:10:50

But man has discovered a few things about himself, his environment and the world.

00:10:55--> 00:11:03

So, let us define life as it applies to the human being, his society and his environment.

00:11:05--> 00:11:15

And then let us consider the purpose of our existence in disrespect. Generally, we find in the dictionaries, the following definition of human life.

00:11:16--> 00:11:19

One, the phenomena of existence,

00:11:21--> 00:11:24

the phenomenon, this means something which is unsolved,

00:11:26--> 00:11:27

00:11:28--> 00:11:39

profound, and scientific facts yet have to be able to explain it phenomena. Another word for phenomena is called miracle.

00:11:42--> 00:12:10

The phenomenon of existence as it applies to one biological development to social dynamics during psychological and mental processes, for the interdependence and interaction with the external environment, and finally, the complete synchronization of the many micro and macro systems that support human existence and the universe as we know it. Isn't that a profound definition?

00:12:13--> 00:12:20

Next, let us define the word purpose. Because we said life, now let's define purpose.

00:12:21--> 00:12:23

Purpose means objective.

00:12:24--> 00:12:25

00:12:26--> 00:12:31

significance, meaning, Target,

00:12:32--> 00:12:36

mission, reality, its purpose.

00:12:38--> 00:12:46

With these general definitions, let us surf the web. Let us approach our topic,

00:12:47--> 00:12:50

the purpose of life. Now,

00:12:51--> 00:13:00

in our discussion, the purpose of life, let's keep it all in context. What do we want to do? We want to know that as human beings,

00:13:02--> 00:13:03

what is our objective?

00:13:04--> 00:13:08

in respect to why are we here? And where are we going?

00:13:09--> 00:13:21

And who is our benefactor? Who or what is our common benefactor that is responsible for us being here, because when we define that, then we know who we are accountable to.

00:13:23--> 00:13:33

It's very simple. Those of you who work on a job and you're not the boss, you understand the issue of subordination.

00:13:35--> 00:13:44

And those of you who work on jobs, and you are the bosses, you also understand accountability, and you exercise it.

00:13:49--> 00:13:55

Now, some facts that we need to think about and talk about the creation of the world

00:13:56--> 00:14:06

is the creation of this world, in all of its complex forms is the result of the thinking of human beings. I asked you, yes or no?

00:14:11--> 00:14:12

Yes or no.

00:14:15--> 00:14:17

I just want to make sure we're in consensus here.

00:14:20--> 00:14:27

Another fact man is the most sophisticated creature in the known and explored universe.

00:14:28--> 00:14:30

Now we heard about et.

00:14:41--> 00:14:50

But there is no evidence, no scientific evidence, with all the theories and sightings of

00:14:51--> 00:14:55

extraterrestrial beings and sophisticated

00:14:57--> 00:14:59

civilizations outside of

00:15:00--> 00:15:04

This universe that Star Trek has come in contact with.

00:15:09--> 00:15:10

It hasn't been documented.

00:15:13--> 00:15:20

Until now, man is the most sophisticated creature

00:15:22--> 00:15:33

in the known and explored universe, therefore, if he is the most sophisticated, just like the boss on the job, he is the most What? responsible

00:15:38--> 00:15:44

that there are inherent laws, both physical and metaphysical, that govern the universe and also government.

00:15:47--> 00:15:50

And to make sure that we're not getting too abstract.

00:15:52--> 00:15:57

Law is as simple as what you witness.

00:15:59--> 00:16:01

If you go to the top of a building,

00:16:02--> 00:16:11

male or female, rich or poor, of any color, you go to the top of building and lean over, you are witnessing the phenomena of law.

00:16:12--> 00:16:18

It comes in the form of fear and apprehension. But it's the law of falling.

00:16:19--> 00:16:22

Because you will not be able to deny gravity.

00:16:24--> 00:16:43

And if you cannot deny gravity, you also know that falling from a distance will cause you some home trauma. That's a law that's inherent. Another simple law is that if you are a functional human being, and you eat and drink, you will also from time to time have to use the toilet.

00:16:45--> 00:17:01

All human beings, no matter who they are, how smart they are. Keep this in mind, no matter how arrogant they are, what kind of clothes they wear, what kind of talk they talk, what kind of weapons they have, they're all just human beings.

00:17:02--> 00:17:09

When you know that, you can still deal with them and keep everything in context, because some of them would lead you to think that they're different.

00:17:12--> 00:17:26

Everyone, and everything in this life will inevitably be subjected to erosion, depreciation, annihilation, and death, everything.

00:17:27--> 00:17:31

And as we sit here, everyone here is getting older,

00:17:33--> 00:17:40

another day towards death. You can call it older, but it's a little closer towards death.

00:17:41--> 00:17:43

And even as we say, here,

00:17:45--> 00:17:48

it's already there. We say now.

00:17:50--> 00:17:52

So ready, then.

00:17:53--> 00:18:13

So even present is something that eludes us. We only know the present by virtue of how the sun moves, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years. And we wouldn't know that if we didn't watch the calendar, or the clock.

00:18:15--> 00:18:16

It's called time.

00:18:18--> 00:18:27

We also know that the earth is equipped with a perfectly balanced environment, for the existence of human life, and that until now,

00:18:28--> 00:18:42

with all of man's instruments instrumentalization, with all of man's sophistication with all of his exploration, man has yet to find another planet, or star

00:18:44--> 00:18:50

within his reach, that has an environment suitable for human life. Isn't that ironic?

00:18:52--> 00:18:55

The earth is what planet from the sun.

00:18:58--> 00:19:00

The third planet, isn't it.

00:19:01--> 00:19:07

If it were the fourth planet, it would be too cold. for human life wouldn't it

00:19:08--> 00:19:17

would not harness service human life. If it was the second planet, it would burn up. Human beings could not live they would suffocate from the heat.

00:19:19--> 00:19:26

But the Earth's atmosphere is maintained and balanced perfectly from where it is, if it was just

00:19:27--> 00:19:51

five miles closer to the sun, or five miles away from the sun, it would fall out of its orbit, and we would all die or disintegrate. Who keeps the earth in that perfect balance in orbit and who put that Earth there and who put the ecosystem around the earth so that everything on the earth would complement it and also serve human beings who did that.

00:19:55--> 00:19:59

The intelligence of human beings is specially designed and endow.

00:20:00--> 00:20:01

For administration,

00:20:02--> 00:20:09

accountability, organization, development of technology and industry. So it's no

00:20:11--> 00:20:15

accident that human beings build things

00:20:16--> 00:20:24

that human beings are able to figure out things, from the time that they rub sticks together and find and was able to build a fire.

00:20:26--> 00:20:32

From the time they were able to find out they can float on the water, or fly in the air,

00:20:33--> 00:20:47

or produce their basic needs such as growing things. From the beginning man learned that he had the intellect to implement, improvise, create design.

00:20:49--> 00:21:03

But one of the unique things that man should always keep in mind, whatever he's able to invent, design, engineer, improvise, create, it's always from something, isn't it?

00:21:05--> 00:21:07

Always from something.

00:21:08--> 00:21:13

Can man create anything, design anything, maintain anything?

00:21:15--> 00:21:21

engineer anything, from nothing, with no materials? No, he cannot.

00:21:24--> 00:21:32

Throughout the recorded history of humanity, there have been outstanding personalities for the last at least 5000 years that is

00:21:33--> 00:21:46

2000 years since Jesus Christ and 3000 years before Jesus Christ, the son of married for 5000 recorded years there have been human beings came calling themselves prophets, messengers,

00:21:48--> 00:22:15

most of you, and most of all human beings, whether from China, or from Africa, or from Europe, or from Asia, or from America, North or South America or anywhere in the world. They know the names of these human beings, because they were outstanding human beings, extraordinary human beings, at their time, because of their behavior and their impact upon society.

00:22:17--> 00:22:19

Men like Noah,

00:22:21--> 00:22:22

Abraham, Moses,

00:22:25--> 00:22:29

men like Solomon, David, Jacob, Isaac,

00:22:31--> 00:22:31

00:22:33--> 00:22:37

john the baptist, Jesus Christ, the son of Mary and

00:22:39--> 00:22:53

Mohammed, bin Abdullah, peace and blessings be upon all of them. These extraordinary human beings over a period of 5000 years stand out from all of the human beings. Now they will not industrialists.

00:22:55--> 00:23:12

They will not professors of universities, they will not sophisticated in terms of their academia. But it was the commitment to human behavior and their insistence upon worshipping only God.

00:23:14--> 00:23:19

The common message was this whole phenomenon, man

00:23:21--> 00:23:35

in his his environment, man, and his challenge and his drama, man, the life that's given to him man and his responsibility. Man is the beneficiary of whom,

00:23:36--> 00:23:43

God all those prophets said that, that doesn't matter which one of those prophecies you prefer above the other doesn't matter.

00:23:44--> 00:23:51

They all said the same thing. They came at different times different places to different people, but they all said the same thing, man.

00:23:52--> 00:23:55

Think about your life

00:23:57--> 00:24:08

and what gift has been given to you? It is God that gave it to you. And you are responsible to acknowledge the one that gave you this gift is what these prophets and messengers said.

00:24:10--> 00:24:12

Recognize, conform

00:24:15--> 00:24:37

and worship God Almighty God without any partners, diversities associates, without any idols without any pagan practices for God wants you to recognize him, worship Him and conform and obey directly

00:24:39--> 00:24:40

00:24:43--> 00:24:48

through education, worship and the acceptance of global moralities.

00:24:50--> 00:24:55

Human beings are able to establish civilized behavior. Now this is a very important point.

00:24:56--> 00:24:58

Global morality

00:25:00--> 00:25:11

Now, one of the global globally accepted moralities is that one should not take the life of another without justification is another global morality.

00:25:12--> 00:25:16

One should not take the property of another

00:25:18--> 00:25:23

one should not covet the wife, husband of another.

00:25:25--> 00:25:28

One should not slander, one should not

00:25:31--> 00:25:32

00:25:34--> 00:25:58

one should not do these things, these are called Global behaviors, one should act decently towards their fellow man. These are called Global behaviors for if you go to China, if you go to Africa, here in Australia, if you go to Europe, if you go to Russia, you go to anywhere there are what they call globally accepted codes of conduct.

00:26:00--> 00:26:38

No matter what religion they are, or no religion at all, they still observe these globally established codes of conduct, we call them good and bad. Because if that were not the case, there will be no way to establish what is good, and there will be no way to establish what is bad. And people who thought whatever they thought was good, would have their people and the people who thought whatever it was good on another side would have their people and there will be wars just based upon the perception of good was not based upon the perception of good wars are based upon the perception of personal interest.

00:26:39--> 00:26:44

But good and bad is well established. Male and female used to be clear.

00:26:52--> 00:26:54

sky and earth is clear.

00:26:58--> 00:27:02

water and ice are clear. Salt and pepper are clear.

00:27:04--> 00:27:20

There are some very clearly established radicals, differences that even animals recognize. But humans when their faculties become clouded or distorted, they are the only creatures that forget these radicals.

00:27:22--> 00:27:31

Because things that animals don't do humans, when their sense of morality becomes distorted. They do what animals don't do.

00:27:37--> 00:27:38

I want you to consider

00:27:39--> 00:27:50

the complex organization of this universe and think to yourself, could man or group of men had anything to do with it? I think you answered before, absolutely not.

00:27:51--> 00:28:02

I want you to consider the phenomenal diversity of the earth systems and its environment. Think for a moment, think about the mountains, some which have never been climbed.

00:28:03--> 00:28:05

Think about the oceans.

00:28:06--> 00:28:15

That man has been able to build machines to cover deserts that man has been able to build machines to cover but still

00:28:17--> 00:28:18

they exist.

00:28:20--> 00:28:20

Think about

00:28:23--> 00:28:25

the ecosystem, the atmosphere,

00:28:26--> 00:28:28

the stratosphere, the ionosphere.

00:28:29--> 00:28:34

Think about the atmosphere, just our universe, which is a small universe

00:28:35--> 00:28:36

within the Milky Way.

00:28:38--> 00:28:55

And Milky Way's a very small galaxy and the Andromeda and Andromeda is only one of millions or billions clusters. Think about that. How then, significance is man how significant is the human being?

00:28:56--> 00:28:58

When we think about this vastness,

00:29:01--> 00:29:17

think about the recently discovered characteristics of the Microsystems existing within substance itself that is, it has been discovered recently, that the atom is not the smallest

00:29:18--> 00:29:22

part of substance. Now there are what micro atoms isn't it?

00:29:25--> 00:29:27

Something now called the quarks.

00:29:29--> 00:29:33

They say which is a millionth of an atom a split of a millionth of an atom.

00:29:34--> 00:29:40

We have discovered that every part of creation that has been discovered is inside of a drop of water.

00:29:42--> 00:29:50

Or the Quran already said that to us 1500 years ago, that we created everything in every single thing from water. The Quran said that.

00:29:52--> 00:29:59

Think about the anatomy of the human being and the intricate and complicated systems that are necessary for its functioning.

00:30:01--> 00:30:08

that you and I, we can only go, maybe 28 days without water, and then we die.

00:30:12--> 00:30:30

That you and I, if we are put in a room, and we are fed and giving water and everything of support, but no one to talk to, we will go crazy and we will die. Because we're social beings. And without somebody to communicate with, we will go crazy and die

00:30:31--> 00:30:32

from depression.

00:30:34--> 00:30:41

Think about the anatomy of the human body. And it's complicated systems that are necessary for its functioning. Think about the kidneys.

00:30:43--> 00:30:46

Think about the brain. Think about the tongue.

00:30:48--> 00:31:00

How is it that a person catches a stroke? And when they catch a stroke, they lose the ability to taste? How much would they pay? How much would they pay just to be able to taste the apple?

00:31:05--> 00:31:17

Think about the stomach. And when a person catches cancer of some sort, and is unable to digest their food and as a bag outside of their body, what would they pay to have that repaired?

00:31:19--> 00:31:20

Think about the lungs.

00:31:22--> 00:31:27

Think about the skin, how it functions, how it breathes how it intakes.

00:31:28--> 00:31:33

Think about the fingers. Think about the 360 joints of the body how they function.

00:31:36--> 00:31:48

Just think about all the different functions and phenomenons of the human body that man is still discovering. And if he has to investigate, research and discover certainly he did not create himself isn't nuclear.

00:31:53--> 00:32:11

Think about the discoveries of forensic science, genetic research, laser technology, quantum physics, atomic and nuclear energy, fiber optics, global telecommunications and medical research. And still man lives like an animal.

00:32:14--> 00:32:28

Man has not come up with a formula to be able to deal harmoniously with other human beings and to resolve differences without slaughtering the rest of his human beings. Man still hasn't come up with that ability.

00:32:34--> 00:32:54

Think about the many food substances and the Aqua marine substances that make up the common air that we breathe every second and minute of our lives and the many sources of fundamental energy that human civilization depends upon think about the many different types of energy that the human being needs just to live.

00:32:55--> 00:33:17

Tell me, how is all of this possible without a power and an intelligence outside of the universe and the human phenomena? At this point, I'd like my brother to recite a few verses from the Quran. And I just want you to be patient because when we give a proof from the Quran, we want you to hear the medicine.

00:33:18--> 00:33:28

Now you won't know what he's saying right away because it's an out of it. But out of respect for the revelation, I want him to recite it then I'm going to translate it for you because it's relative to my topic

00:33:31--> 00:33:35

though Billahi min ash Shea banyuwangi

00:33:36--> 00:33:37

00:33:39--> 00:33:41

00:33:53--> 00:33:54

Well, hello, gentlemen.

00:33:58--> 00:34:00

00:34:10--> 00:34:11

00:34:59--> 00:34:59

00:35:00--> 00:35:02

My name was Stefan when

00:35:04--> 00:35:05

00:35:07--> 00:35:13

disease ilani one comma robot

00:35:18--> 00:35:21

00:35:37--> 00:35:38

finicky Yes.

00:35:42--> 00:35:44

I want to remind you or tell you

00:35:46--> 00:35:48

that this revelation the Quran

00:35:49--> 00:35:53

was revealed 14 124 years ago

00:35:54--> 00:35:57

to an illiterate, that means

00:35:59--> 00:36:00

a man

00:36:01--> 00:36:02

who had no schooling,

00:36:05--> 00:36:06

a man born in the desert,

00:36:08--> 00:36:09

and out of

00:36:12--> 00:36:27

chosen by Almighty God to receive a revelation, a man like Jesus, a man like john the baptist, a man like Zachary, a man like Isaac, a man like

00:36:29--> 00:36:46

a smile, a man like Moses, a man like Abraham, a man like Noah, a man like Adam, Alisa them piece of blessing be upon him, a man, a messenger, and a prophet.

00:36:48--> 00:36:48

Now, this quarter,

00:36:50--> 00:37:03

that he recited, is recited by 1.4 billion people in the world, and memorize from cover to cover 6626 verses,

00:37:04--> 00:37:20

by literally millions of Muslims, not a few, but millions. And it is the ambition of every Muslim, to have a son or a daughter in their life that memorizes this entire book.

00:37:22--> 00:37:39

So it's not a phenomenon, except that this book was memorized and preserved in the life of the one that he received it from God. And in his lifetime, it was memorized, and it was retained and never change, and intact. Until now.

00:37:40--> 00:37:41

Look what it says.

00:37:43--> 00:37:48

I gave you some statistics. And the basis of it was from the court and

00:37:49--> 00:37:52

the Quran says, and assigned for them

00:37:53--> 00:37:54

is the dead Earth

00:37:58--> 00:38:00

is brought back to life.

00:38:02--> 00:38:05

And then from it springs,

00:38:08--> 00:38:13

fruits and grains of all kinds which they eat.

00:38:15--> 00:38:26

And we placed there in gardens and palm trees and grape vines and cause them to burst forth. They're in some springs that come from the ground that man doesn't control himself.

00:38:27--> 00:38:29

And then he creates his industry

00:38:33--> 00:38:42

that they may eat of the fruit created by God, and their hands have not produced it at all. So will they be grateful?

00:38:43--> 00:39:20

Exalted is He who created all life in pairs. So the Quran establishes that everything in life, everything in life has been created in pairs, while the plants were the animals were the insects were the fish or bacteria. Has science ratified that? That everything in life has been created in pairs? Yes, the Quran said that 1424 years ago. And of course the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon he wasn't a botanist.

00:39:23--> 00:39:24

He wasn't a geologist.

00:39:26--> 00:39:40

He didn't have a microscope. He had no way of knowing that the only way a human being 1424 years could know that is to the help and inspiration of the one who is the creator from the beginning.

00:39:42--> 00:39:48

Because that fact that everything has been created and Pass was only discovered 78 years ago.

00:39:49--> 00:39:50

00:39:53--> 00:39:59

Exalted is He Amara God who created all things in pairs from what the earth bro

00:40:00--> 00:40:10

And from themselves, the human beings and from that which they do not know, that means here the Quran is establishing that there are some creatures,

00:40:11--> 00:40:17

maybe micro creatures that are also created in pairs that the human being doesn't know about.

00:40:19--> 00:40:20

and assign for them as the night

00:40:21--> 00:40:44

that we extract from the light of the day. Now this is the phenomena itself, that we have now discovered from going out of space. When we go out in space, we realize that the night we realized that the day is extracted from the night, not the night from the day, we realized that night is first and day a second, although we say day night,

00:40:45--> 00:40:50

we realize now that time is really inverted, but you have to go out in space to be able to see it.

00:40:51--> 00:40:58

That's why in Australia, we're sitting here at 930 in the evening, isn't it?

00:40:59--> 00:41:04

In London, it is now 1030 in the morning, but yesterday.

00:41:06--> 00:41:10

And in America, it's 530 in the morning, yesterday.

00:41:12--> 00:41:16

But we just discovered that dimension of time recently, didn't we?

00:41:17--> 00:41:22

We didn't know that before. But the Quran is establishes that, because listen to this.

00:41:23--> 00:41:41

And the sun runs its own course, towards its stopping point. And that is the determination of the Exalted in Might the knowing and the moon, we have determined for it phases until it returns appear in like a date stock. Now think about it.

00:41:42--> 00:41:56

Here the Quran has established that the sun runs its course, along with its other bodies which carries it. What bodies of the Sun carry with it. It's nine planets, is that correct?

00:41:57--> 00:42:03

based upon the movement of the Sun and the planets around it, we establish what time isn't it?

00:42:04--> 00:42:11

And based upon the movement of the moon around the Earth, we establish what another set of time

00:42:12--> 00:42:21

now how's the Quran established this 1424 years ago, while the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, he didn't have any

00:42:23--> 00:42:24

00:42:25--> 00:42:36

He did know that he could only have known that through the aid and the assistance of revelation or inspiration from the one who created

00:42:38--> 00:42:41

the Quran says it is not allowed listen to this

00:42:43--> 00:42:44

lesson Zoo

00:42:46--> 00:42:48

00:42:49--> 00:42:53

and to trickle tomorrow. wallet ladies arbequina

00:42:54--> 00:42:56

fee for nothing Yes, bone.

00:42:59--> 00:43:04

nakulan fee for nothing. Yes, balloon is not allowed for

00:43:05--> 00:43:08

the sun to reach the moon that is to outstrip it.

00:43:09--> 00:43:11

Nor is it allowed

00:43:12--> 00:43:19

for the night to overtake the day, but each one of them swims along and its own law and orbit. When was that established?

00:43:21--> 00:43:28

How long was it that Copernicus gave us the theory that man was in the center of the universe? Did you remember that?

00:43:29--> 00:43:35

That man was the center of the universe. We know now that man is not the center of the universe at all.

00:43:36--> 00:43:39

But 1424 years ago, the Quran established

00:43:40--> 00:43:51

that the sun cannot outstrip the moon. And the night cannot outstrip the day, but each one of them are engaged in a pre determined law and audit is the Quran.

00:43:55--> 00:43:56

The brothers and sisters,

00:43:57--> 00:44:26

all of this is to establish in your minds, all of this dialogue, all of this evidence, all of this proof is to clearly establish in everybody's mind here that you and I know all of us together know all the human beings in other places throughout the earth, none of us individually endowed unimed out intelligent or unintelligent, educated or otherwise rich or poor, black or white, male or female. None of us are benefactors, who's the benefactor

00:44:28--> 00:44:29

who's the benefactor?

00:44:30--> 00:44:47

God, the Almighty, the creator, your Lord, my lord. This was established by those prophets and messengers, those extraordinary human beings that I spoke about a few moments ago, that was already established. I didn't need to come here and establish that I just need to come here and remind you of that.

00:44:48--> 00:44:59

Now those extraordinary human beings were the ones that came to tell other human beings who thought at that time that they were somewhat sophisticated, isn't it

00:45:00--> 00:45:06

You know, this is unique about humans. At every age, even 5000 years ago, they thought they were modern.

00:45:14--> 00:45:32

At every age, human beings no matter what stage of development they're at, they think that they're modern and more sophisticated than others. This the nature of human beings, yet, all of them don't seem to ponder on the fact that they're only here for a moment.

00:45:35--> 00:45:40

And some of them during the moment that they're here, they become so arrogant.

00:45:41--> 00:46:05

They begin to say, that we we, we are the owners. We are the peacekeepers, we are the organizers. We are the administrators, we are the ones who created ourselves, determine for ourselves, legislate for ourselves and others, and we own everything, and we determine everything. Isn't there some people who say that you either with us?

00:46:17--> 00:46:26

No, give man don't give man a few tools that he can use a few things that he can throw off some missiles that he can shoot, he really becomes arrogant then.

00:46:31--> 00:46:34

Well, you know, when Moses

00:46:36--> 00:46:37

when he went to Pharaoh,

00:46:41--> 00:46:44

Abraham, when he went to Pharaoh,

00:46:45--> 00:46:48

peace and blessings be upon when Abraham went to Pharaoh,

00:46:50--> 00:47:01

and talk to Pharaoh, Pharaoh, so Abraham, why should I worship your God? Why? I have command over life and death.

00:47:03--> 00:47:07

Anybody I want to die will die. Anybody I want to live will live

00:47:09--> 00:47:11

with Abraham say to Pharaoh,

00:47:12--> 00:47:13

what do you say to him?

00:47:15--> 00:47:17

If you really got some power,

00:47:19--> 00:47:22

the one you're the one that you kill, bring him back to life.

00:47:24--> 00:47:30

The one you kill, bring him back to life if you got power. And if you got some power.

00:47:31--> 00:47:36

When the sun sets in the west, you caused the rise and make it set in the east.

00:47:37--> 00:47:44

Was Pharaoh able to do that? He wasn't able to do that then. And the pharaohs today can't do it today.

00:47:51--> 00:48:05

Because throughout the span of man's interaction with man, there has always been the confrontation between the arrogant, the worldly, the boastful,

00:48:06--> 00:48:11

those who feel that they are the owners, the administrators, the materialists.

00:48:13--> 00:48:25

It's always been that confrontation between the materialists and the faithful, the prophets of God, whom I mentioned some of their names, they will always the godly, the faithful.

00:48:26--> 00:48:28

The people having faith and belief,

00:48:29--> 00:48:39

knowing that this world and all its tangible resources are the result of whose command god

00:48:40--> 00:49:04

those people who are godless, mindless, heedless, arrogant, rebellious, wanting to own everything, wanting to expand from their place throughout the world, and even control everything in the world and even want to control outer space. And look how, look how God send science. And that man doesn't seem to want to heat it. Did you know that?

00:49:06--> 00:49:10

The space exploration project that

00:49:12--> 00:49:24

the USSR or they don't call it that anymore? It's called now the Soviet Union or the Soviet states. They got it now. They change the name. Didn't they change the currency? I think they're in bed in bed with the capitalist now, I think.

00:49:29--> 00:49:45

Anyway, the Russian are the columns of Russians now. Right? So the Russian American space exploration project that has now expanded itself to include the State of Israel. And that's wonderful. That's a nice addition.

00:49:48--> 00:49:57

Well, they will have a very ambitious space exploration project that included building what they call it that you look up in the sky and see it at night.

00:50:00--> 00:50:01

Yeah, the space station.

00:50:03--> 00:50:06

So they were building a space station.

00:50:07--> 00:50:14

So that they would be able to establish in the heavens of place to prove to us that there is no god up here.

00:50:17--> 00:50:21

And that they would build a new frontier that was Star Trek and his peoples called it.

00:50:25--> 00:50:27

And through their robot tronics,

00:50:28--> 00:50:39

they will create a new race of slaves, that was served them from outer space, spy on those on the earth and control the whole heavens and earth, they led us to believe that

00:50:41--> 00:50:43

Well, after this last failure,

00:50:44--> 00:50:46

this recent failure

00:50:47--> 00:50:50

that they don't speak about anymore this tragedy,

00:50:52--> 00:50:58

this $56 million project $56 billion project,

00:50:59--> 00:51:04

keep this in mind $56 billion of your tax dollars and mind.

00:51:07--> 00:51:10

It's frozen paralyzed the whole project.

00:51:11--> 00:51:25

And you've got people up there at that space station that will die because they got to have regular flights back and forth just to support them. And they don't have any flights right now. And they don't expect to have any more for at least 10 months.

00:51:28--> 00:51:32

So God has shown them just through one sign.

00:51:33--> 00:51:35

That's not where man belongs.

00:51:37--> 00:51:44

That's not the environment where man is supposed to live, multiplied, develop all control.

00:51:48--> 00:52:08

And let me tell you another little aspect of that space station project, they were developing a theory that they could take people that are in prisons, or people that they considered to be dysfunctional, or without any real use, and they could transport them to the space station and just put them in orbit.

00:52:11--> 00:52:24

That was the plan that 12 years from now, they would transfer major prison populations up there and create prison colonies where they would produce things there. But they would be in orbit so they wouldn't have to worry about them escaping.

00:52:29--> 00:52:31

Man Man is something

00:52:33--> 00:53:01

now those prophets and messengers, they had their task, and what was their task, their task was coming to these kinds of people then and also now. The godly people today have the same task to come to those people. Now they say to them that Don't you know that God is the benefactor of the heavens and the earth? And everything that is in it? Don't you know that?

00:53:05--> 00:53:07

Now, how do we know that there's a God?

00:53:08--> 00:53:12

And how do we know that there's a creator, that whom should be worshipped?

00:53:13--> 00:53:15

Well, let me give you a proverb.

00:53:17--> 00:53:18

And Adam,

00:53:19--> 00:53:52

man came to the Prophet sallallahu wasallam peace and blessings be upon him and asked him a similar question. And Adam, a Bedouin? Because these are simple people. He came to the prophet to Lausanne with a question how do we know that there's a God? Or how do we know that there's a creator whom should be worshipped? Let me tell you what the prophet, that illiterate Prophet, that unlettered prophet that's simple man, that messenger and prophet of God, let me tell you what he said. He said, The presence of dung is the evidence that a camel was here.

00:53:56--> 00:54:00

The presence of dung is the evidence that a camel was here.

00:54:03--> 00:54:08

The footprints and the sign is the evidence that a person was here.

00:54:09--> 00:54:19

And the evidence of the earth and all the planets have proof that the same one or some great power has placed them where they are.

00:54:21--> 00:54:22

That's what the prophet said.

00:54:24--> 00:54:25

His proof

00:54:26--> 00:54:29

was good enough that Adam and is good enough for me.

00:54:33--> 00:55:00

Why should we not consider the theories of natural selection or the Big Bang or the concept of perpetual evolution as plausible evidence for the existence of the world or creation or universe, because none of these theories can deny the fact that macro and micro systems are arranged, fixed, portioned, measured, determined, limited, synchronized and given distinct characteristics.

00:55:00--> 00:55:03

And parameters that they cannot go beyond or exceed.

00:55:04--> 00:55:34

Secondly, the fact that they have such predictable and recognizable characteristics, allow for man to study, reflect, perform research that enables him that is meant to read scientific conclusions, and apply certain technological instruments that provide benefit or substantiation to the evolution of his social environment. That's the facts. That's why

00:55:35--> 00:55:46

that these are plausible these concepts of evolution, natural selection, or pre determined evolution are not plausible.

00:55:47--> 00:55:59

The other consideration is that whatever position that you want to arrive at you or I, concerning a divine creator, and Almighty God, one thing is for certain,

00:56:00--> 00:56:01

we cannot deny

00:56:02--> 00:56:05

that all of us exist, do we exist?

00:56:07--> 00:56:15

If you agree with me, that we all exist, that we're all here, I mean, I think everybody believes that we're all here.

00:56:16--> 00:56:17

We're all here.

00:56:20--> 00:56:28

And we are being that we are subsisting and being sustained through a unique balance of environmental phenomena.

00:56:30--> 00:56:42

That we are not the Office of, then someone, some great power, is has to be, must be the author and responsible for all of this.

00:56:46--> 00:56:50

Now those prophets and messengers, all of them, profound men.

00:56:52--> 00:56:54

They all say to their people, that

00:56:56--> 00:56:57

there is no God,

00:56:58--> 00:57:09

except Almighty God, that means there's nothing to be worshipped, nothing to be obeyed, nothing to be adored, nothing to be bowed down to nothing to subordinate to accept.

00:57:11--> 00:57:34

The Almighty, that's what they said. And they said, that, that Lord and creator not only has designed the heavens in the earth, not only has put laws in the earth, but has also created a legislation on morality and a system for the human beings to live. Because would you think that as a parent, that you work as hard as you do?

00:57:35--> 00:57:52

pursue your own education and your own career, and build a house or buy a house and have a family and then you have children? And you don't create an environment? Or you don't set down any ethics or any code of behavior for your children, don't you?

00:57:54--> 00:58:08

I mean, even though some children think that it shouldn't be otherwise, I think most people, most parents feel that they have a right to establish law, principle, ethics and behavior inside their home, don't you?

00:58:11--> 00:58:33

Do you think that you have more right to establish law and ethics and behavior, and a system of what comes and goes in your own home, but that the Creator of the heavens and earth in the environment that you live in this vast universe, that you see and witness and depend upon, that the creator or the benefactor of that would not do the same?

00:58:36--> 00:58:39

those prophets and messengers said that the Almighty

00:58:42--> 00:58:43

has given to man,

00:58:45--> 00:58:46

a system

00:58:47--> 00:59:00

to submit to surrender, a system by which to recognize God, a system by which to conform to God, a system by which to worship God, and we call that system religion, but that's not

00:59:01--> 00:59:08

a comprehensive word. When we say religion, we think that's something we do on Sunday or Friday or Saturday, or sometimes.

00:59:10--> 00:59:15

We say religion, we think that's something that we do only for God when we get afraid, or we get broke.

00:59:16--> 00:59:20

Or when we get drunk The next day, oh my god.

00:59:24--> 00:59:37

See, when you say religion, it has a limited preconditioning type of word. But when you say system, everybody can relate to systems now. If there's only financial system, you can relate to that.

00:59:38--> 00:59:57

system means comprehensive system means an upper apparatus, something that functions that everybody depends upon something that needs to be maintained, something that is set, something that has a criteria, something that is predictable, something that everybody can look at and function and be a part of, that's a system

00:59:59--> 00:59:59

01:00:00--> 01:00:08

Have a system that man but his mind has made? Don't you think that the creator would have a system better than that?

01:00:09--> 01:00:12

Man has made a camera. Look at the eye.

01:00:14--> 01:00:17

Man has made a computer, look at the brain.

01:00:19--> 01:00:21

Man has made nuclear plants.

01:00:23--> 01:00:24

Look at the heart.

01:00:25--> 01:00:32

Man has created apparatuses to do different chemical analysis. Look at the kidneys.

01:00:34--> 01:00:58

Man has created all kinds of instruments to remember to detect to do forensics. Look how the human body functions. And so does man think that he can keep records on other men and on the world and maintain history historical records, this man thinks that he can do all of that, but the one that created him can't keep tracks on him.

01:00:59--> 01:01:16

Does man think that he can be accountable or that others are accountable to him that he can govern you men, government that he can govern you men, that he can create government but that the Creator who has made the heavens and earth does not have the ability to hold us accountable.

01:01:18--> 01:01:20

The prophets and the messengers of Almighty God

01:01:22--> 01:01:31

said to those at that time to their people, that the system in front of the Creator starts with submission.

01:01:33--> 01:01:34

Submission means peace

01:01:35--> 01:01:38

and peace is a part of prosperity.

01:01:39--> 01:01:53

How can a human being have peace with another human being? How can a peace process move forward? How we can find a solution of peaceful solution? How can nations have peace together when they are at war with God.

01:01:57--> 01:02:00

being at war with God is like being at war with your unconscious.

01:02:02--> 01:02:05

being at war with God is like denying your father and mother.

01:02:06--> 01:02:11

being at war with God is like denying yourself telling yourself that you are not who you are.

01:02:14--> 01:02:18

Islam as a system of faith

01:02:19--> 01:02:41

is that system. That is the natural progression of all the prophets and all their messages and all their behaviors that culminated in the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him that culminated in this quote, and that culminated in the system which is called Islam. It is a system

01:02:42--> 01:02:52

of morality is the system of consciousness is the system of discipline. It is a system recognizing laws that regulate human conduct.

01:02:53--> 01:03:01

Islam is a system of social balance Islam as a system of integration. Islam is a system

01:03:03--> 01:03:19

that creates balance between the individual and the society that means balance between individual interests, and the interests of the society. Because to have peace and harmony in a society that has got to be a balance between individual interests, and

01:03:20--> 01:03:28

social interest. Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of pure monotheism. Because

01:03:29--> 01:03:39

if we were each of us to worship a God of our own, let's call the God of our own, if you want to call that God of your own yourself.

01:03:41--> 01:03:46

So everybody picks out a God of their own. Therefore, each of us would have our own law,

01:03:47--> 01:04:09

our own sense of right and wrong, how could we possibly agree? It could never happen. But if all of us acknowledged that there's one benefactor and one God, one creator, even if some of us were bad, and some of us were good, but we all established that there's one creator, we still have a way to reach what we call arbitration and adjudication, isn't it?

01:04:11--> 01:04:12

There will still be some law,

01:04:14--> 01:04:17

Islam as a system of social equality, that is,

01:04:19--> 01:04:35

there's no inequality between male and female in Islam. Men are men and women are women. Women are not the same as men. They are the same in the sight of God. They have the same sanctity, they have the same rights

01:04:37--> 01:04:45

in the sight of God, but men and women are not the same. They are similar but they're not the same.

01:04:46--> 01:04:51

The anatomy is different, even if they want to exchange pots.

01:04:53--> 01:04:57

Still, it provides a psychological problem

01:04:58--> 01:04:59

when you find out

01:05:00--> 01:05:06

A male or female that has had a sex change, they also need a psychological change.

01:05:08--> 01:05:08

It doesn't work.

01:05:12--> 01:05:19

Male and female are similar human beings from the same soul.

01:05:21--> 01:05:31

From the same soul, they were created, but they're not the same. They have a different psychology, they have a different anatomy, and they have a different destiny and function in the society.

01:05:33--> 01:05:40

A balanced, natural, normal, healthy family society will admit that and apply that.

01:05:42--> 01:06:06

Although the Supreme Court of the United States, and it's the House of Lords, the House of Commons, whatever they call them in Great Britain, and I don't know, what do you call it here? But in the western civilization's, now they accept that somehow another, a healthy family can be two women that married to men that marry and adopt children, they call it a nuclear family with a salad.

01:06:15--> 01:06:18

Islam says, That's unacceptable to God.

01:06:20--> 01:06:38

Abraham, Moses, David Solomon, john the baptist, Jesus Christ, all the prophets of God, who came from God was a pure message. They said, that that is wrong, that is ungodly, that is immoral. Now, I believe them.

01:06:39--> 01:07:04

I don't believe the human beings that ignore them. And the result of those that don't heed the message of those profits is disease, the pharmacy imbalance, this function disparagement, inevitably despair, suicide. That's what happens to those kinds of people check their lives out in the long run.

01:07:05--> 01:07:06

It doesn't work.

01:07:08--> 01:07:56

Islam is a system that encourages and promotes knowledge and science. Islam as a system that strikes the balance between individualism and socialism, Islam eliminates religious excess and ritualistic innovation, Islam as a religion which is against religious intolerance and extremism. We cannot say that a person is we can say a Muslim is we can say a person who is a Muslim extremist, or Christian extremists, or Muslim criminal, or Jewish criminal or Christian criminal, we can say that. But we cannot say that Islam is an extremist religion, because Islam, by definition means a law that Almighty God is established for equity between the human beings, which is surrender, and submission

01:07:56--> 01:07:59

to His will. And God is not an extremist.

01:08:02--> 01:08:08

And we cannot indict Jesus Christ, for what Jim Jones did.

01:08:10--> 01:08:34

We cannot indict Jesus Christ, for what Charles Manson did. And he said he was the coming back of Christ. We cannot indict Jesus Christ for what Hitler did. We cannot indict Jesus Christ for what Timothy McVeigh did, then how can we indict Islam for what perhaps some Muslims do?

01:08:36--> 01:08:58

It's only fair. What's good for the goose? is good for the gander. You heard that before? What's good for you? has to be good for me to be equitable. You can say one thing for Muslims. And another thing for Christians, that's not fair. I haven't heard any headlines, although all of the murder. As a matter of fact,

01:09:00--> 01:09:02

I was wondering why

01:09:04--> 01:09:05

01:09:06--> 01:09:16

Catholic priests, Cardinals bishops that are very close, I mean, exceptionally close to the pope

01:09:17--> 01:09:30

56, who are convicted pedophiles and have been pedophiles convicted over a protracted period of time. None of them will call Christian criminals.

01:09:32--> 01:09:34

Yeah, they were.

01:09:36--> 01:09:56

They were endowed and entrusted with the lives of young children whom they corrupted over a protracted period of time. It wasn't like a few weeks, I mean, like 3040 years. That's like the fox being in a chicken house for 40 years.

01:10:00--> 01:10:04

is not even really being the chicken house is being the chicken house

01:10:05--> 01:10:06

could even having chickens yet.

01:10:13--> 01:10:27

But not one headline said Christian criminals. As a matter of fact they doctored it up as if they needed some kind of psychological help. It was a little mistake and we just need to work this thing out a little bit. And

01:10:33--> 01:10:44

that's not an indictment against Christianity. This is not an indictment against the Vatican. Those are just some people who were entrusted with religious sanctity.

01:10:48--> 01:10:50

But the nature of human beings

01:10:51--> 01:10:57

to fall into traps like that, when they fool themselves about something called celibacy, it don't even exist.

01:11:00--> 01:11:02

Don't even try to be celibate. Don't even try to tell me that.

01:11:04--> 01:11:06

It's something you're doing to balance it out.

01:11:13--> 01:11:17

Islam is a real religion. Islam says no celibacy.

01:11:18--> 01:11:25

Whether you want to be a Muslim minister, or you want to be a woman that is want to give yourself to God, you still need a husband.

01:11:27--> 01:11:28

If you want to make a family.

01:11:30--> 01:11:38

That's what Islam says. Because Islam is a religion of clear moral social balance and rationale.

01:11:40--> 01:11:56

Islam is a religion of pure and wholesome moral principles. Yes, in Islam, alcohol, drugs, fornication, adultery, gambling, illicit sex, sodomy,

01:11:57--> 01:11:59

child molestation,

01:12:01--> 01:12:11

pornography, all of this is considered to be immoral and unlawful, straightforward. Islam says, We don't dilly dally about it, we have to do no voting about it.

01:12:13--> 01:12:15

It's not a matter of individuality.

01:12:17--> 01:12:23

567 million abortions in Islam is considered to be murder.

01:12:24--> 01:12:33

That's what we call it. That's what the Quran calls it. A life that you do not own, you do not have a right to take because you made a mistake.

01:12:35--> 01:12:39

If you wanted to have free sex, you should know when you get pregnant that is not free.

01:12:46--> 01:12:58

Islam is a religion of research, development and progress. Islam is a religion of high culture, and the development of human civilization, what do we want as Muslims?

01:13:01--> 01:13:24

We want to invite people towards respecting themselves, building a high relationship with Almighty God through the behavior of the prophets of God, through following the law of God, and building a fraternity of godly people, whether they be black or white, or yellow, or red from the east, or the West, or male or female.

01:13:26--> 01:13:41

Whether they are rich or poor, a global fraternity of godly people who will do what use the book of God and the example of God's prophet to resolve their problems wheresoever they are.

01:13:43--> 01:13:51

And yes, if you live in America, in the south, if you like to eat fried chicken, that's okay. You can keep that culture.

01:13:52--> 01:14:28

We don't have to all eat the same food, we don't all have to dressed in the same clothes. We don't all have to speak the same language. We all as human beings just need to do what use the law of God, and the example of his prophets and our worship and our godliness, to establish relationships between each other. This is the proposition of Islam, the proposition of Islam as the first acknowledge God, after acknowledging God, adopt God's law between us. And after that worship God, so you adopt morality and decency, this is the proposition

01:14:30--> 01:14:38

that you and I can find you and I can discover and you and I can maintain the purpose of life.

01:14:41--> 01:14:49

Islam as a system with built in answers, Islam is a system that has solutions to human problems.

01:14:51--> 01:15:00

Islam is a system that addresses the misery of mankind, the degradation of mankind, the debasement of

01:15:00--> 01:15:08

And mankind the problems and the tragedies of mankind, because if a system of life cannot address those problems,

01:15:11--> 01:15:14

it is not suited to be called a universal system.

01:15:16--> 01:15:24

Islam is the system that reconciles the relationship between man and God, between man and woman, and between man and man,

01:15:25--> 01:16:02

human beings. Islam is a system that sets down contracts of behavior, whether in marriage, whether in business, or in worship, and does not separate these things into compartments. It's all under the law of God. And according to the behavior of his prophets, Islam is able to fulfill all of this because unlike other religions, other systems, and other Phyllis philosophical ideologies, or isms, it has, Islam has one, comprehensive and unchanged scripture.

01:16:03--> 01:16:12

The only system of life in the world that has a comprehensive and unchained system, since it was revealed and is memorized,

01:16:14--> 01:16:23

was memorized in the time of the one whom it was revealed to, has been memorized by millions since that time.

01:16:24--> 01:16:36

And the proof is that there are some sitting here that have memorized all 6626 verses, like it was memorized before. It is the only scripture from God

01:16:38--> 01:16:42

that has been retained as such. The proof of that is simple.

01:16:44--> 01:16:49

If all the Christians of the world, all the churches,

01:16:51--> 01:16:57

all the congregations of the individuals agreed one day to take all of their books and throw them in the ocean,

01:16:59--> 01:17:01

to take all the Bibles and throw them in the ocean.

01:17:02--> 01:17:08

And all the Muslims said we too, will take all our books, the Koran and throw them in the ocean.

01:17:10--> 01:17:13

The Christians would not be able to produce another Bible.

01:17:15--> 01:17:18

Because they don't even agree today. What is the Bible?

01:17:20--> 01:17:23

The 354 different denominations.

01:17:24--> 01:17:25

All of them claim

01:17:26--> 01:17:28

43 different Bibles.

01:17:30--> 01:17:36

different books, different number verses, even all the New Testaments.

01:17:37--> 01:17:50

And no one among the Christians, not one, not one in the world can claim that they have memorized the whole Bible because they haven't agreed what is the whole Bible.

01:17:52--> 01:17:53

But there are millions of Muslims

01:17:55--> 01:18:06

maybe five or 10 just in this room, who have memorized the entire Quran so that if we threw all the ends there just books with ink, of course we respected but we threw them all in the ocean.

01:18:07--> 01:18:33

We could bring 10 Muslims from 10 different countries that didn't know each other. They could all stand here in this room right here and start from the beginning. I was with law humility. tanto rajim Bismillah R Rahman Rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil aalameen Ar Rahman AR Rahim, Malik yo Medina, a yaquina. Buddha yaquina Stein. Deena Serato Mr. Kim Serato Latina and anti la vida mokuba la him wallet.

01:18:34--> 01:19:01

Lin and then they can go to the last Sora altavilla him in a shaytani r rajim Bismillah R Rahman Rahim could also be robinus Melaka ness, Isla hiddenness. men shall read Roswell, Ceylon as the US wish to do the next minute Jannati oneness, the first and the last and the 112 suitors in between and they would all agree and there's a quote on but come right back again.

01:19:10--> 01:19:16

The second demonstration of the superiority of Islam and its system of life is that Islam has

01:19:17--> 01:19:22

a human example. That is the most powerful thing because everybody wants to hear Oh.

01:19:28--> 01:19:35

Now I don't mean that I don't mean that that long piece of bread with some meat and cheese that they have in America. That's that they call it a hero.

01:19:39--> 01:19:57

I mean, a hero means somebody that I look up to somebody I want to be like somebody I can imitate somebody that inspires me, somebody that can guide me somebody that I feel that my life could be like this.

01:19:58--> 01:19:59

Everybody in the world was the hero

01:20:01--> 01:20:02

Almighty God

01:20:04--> 01:20:15

already knows that about the human being. And so the human the Almighty God gave the human being over different periods of time, heroes, but he called them prophets and messengers.

01:20:16--> 01:20:20

But those heroes, those prophets and messengers came to their own people.

01:20:21--> 01:20:26

Then after Jesus Christ, because he said, I'm gonna send you another hero,

01:20:28--> 01:20:32

I'm gonna send you a counselor. His name is the admirable one.

01:20:33--> 01:20:41

His name is the chosen. His name is the Praiseworthy, his name is Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam.

01:20:43--> 01:20:50

And Jesus said, in the upper room, he told his companions, don't be afraid, I gotta go,

01:20:51--> 01:20:54

I have to leave. So be it.

01:20:55--> 01:21:00

After I leave the Comforter, the counselor, that admirable bond, he will come.

01:21:02--> 01:21:04

For if I don't leave, he cannot come.

01:21:06--> 01:21:13

That's what Jesus told him. You will know him because when he comes, He will not speak of himself.

01:21:14--> 01:21:18

But whatsoever he hears from God, that shall he speak, what does that mean?

01:21:20--> 01:21:54

He will not come with his own words. He will not come with his own poetry with his own ego, with his own ideas with his own opinions, he will not come like that. But whatever He hears from God, that's what he will come with, hear from God means what? What God reveals to him by what inspiration, Revelation. Second thing Jesus said, your hearts and your minds are not prepared for all the questions you have. So be it. When that counselor comes, he will relate all things to you in detail.

01:21:55--> 01:21:57

As the second thing he said about him.

01:21:58--> 01:22:05

The third thing he said, You will know him because when he comes, He will speak of me.

01:22:08--> 01:22:09

That's what he said.

01:22:11--> 01:22:12

And the fourth thing he said,

01:22:15--> 01:22:17

that which he hears from God

01:22:18--> 01:22:32

will remain with you for forever, knows the four conditions, not a Holy Ghost, or the angel Gabriel didn't fulfill those conditions. Certainly, Jesus Christ did not come back and fulfill those conditions himself.

01:22:33--> 01:22:42

So the question here is who what came after Jesus Christ that fulfills that prophecy?

01:22:43--> 01:22:44

Only one man?

01:22:47--> 01:22:48

First of all,

01:22:49--> 01:22:50

let me

01:22:51--> 01:22:59

tell you that this book has in it, a chapter called marry. Now who is married?

01:23:01--> 01:23:02

Who who's married

01:23:06--> 01:23:07

the mother of Jesus.

01:23:08--> 01:23:41

So if a book that Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, claims that he heard from God, he didn't say, this is from me, I'm bringing you guys a book that I wrote, that I published that I want you to read. No, he said, I heard a revelation from God. The angel gabriel that visited all the other prophets brought me this revelation. So the characteristic characterization of this book is what he said, what he heard from God, did Jesus say that?

01:23:42--> 01:23:44

The second thing is, he said,

01:23:46--> 01:24:01

your hearts and your minds are not prepared. But when he comes, he will explain all things in detail. The Quran says early this is a book that explains all things in detail. As the second thing

01:24:02--> 01:24:06

that he also said, He will mention me.

01:24:08--> 01:24:18

The Quran has in it a chapter, which is called the sutra called medium, the chapter called medium. And in the chapter millennium,

01:24:19--> 01:24:24

the birth of Mary. It mentioned first the mother of Mary, what's her name?

01:24:26--> 01:24:26

01:24:29--> 01:24:36

It mentions how Hanna prayed to God for a son, and that God gave her a girl.

01:24:37--> 01:24:55

And when she asked God, oh God, you gave me a child that I prayed for, but it's a girl I cannot give her to the priests of the temple for how to become a priests. God said so be it. She will be one of the chiefs of the women in the hereafter.

01:24:57--> 01:24:59

Who is that woman marry

01:25:00--> 01:25:14

But God gave the Hannah, the boy she asked for to her daughter. So God gave her a double gift gave a daughter that will be the chiefs of the women in the hereafter and gave her the son that she was asking for to her daughter, which was who?

01:25:15--> 01:25:34

Jesus Christ. And not only to God given the sun through her daughter, but made her son, Christ Jesus, the Messiah, who was born without a father, the Word of God, and the spirit given to marry from God.

01:25:36--> 01:25:37

The Quran says that.

01:25:40--> 01:26:34

So Jesus said, He will speak of me. Not only does Quran speak of Hannah, not only does the Quran speak of Mary, not only does the Quran speak of the Immaculate birth, the phenomenal birth, the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, but the Quran also talks about his miracles, how he healed the lepers, how he calls the blind to see how he calls the deaf to hear how he calls, those who couldn't speak, to speak, how he calls the dead, to be risen from the grave, how he fed the masses of 10,000, or more people from what seven loaves of bread and fish, and how he blew his breath into a clay pigeon, and caused it to fly how Jesus Christ did these miracles. God says, He did it by the power

01:26:34--> 01:26:56

of whom, himself or whom, by God, to call on does it confirm Jesus Christ. And fourthly, he said, it will remain with you forever. For it to remain with you forever. It has to be intact, from the time it was revealed, is the only book that was intact from the time that it was revealed.

01:26:59--> 01:27:16

So the natural progression of the life of Jesus, the natural progression of the love of Jesus and His message, the natural progression of the gospel of Jesus, the natural progression of the life of all the prophets and the system given by all those prophets, the natural progression of that is

01:27:17--> 01:27:27

the Quran, the natural progression is Islam. And that human example is the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Let me leave you with this.

01:27:29--> 01:27:34

Just tie yourself down a little bit settled good in your seats, I'm gonna ask you a question.

01:27:37--> 01:27:38

The Quran says,

01:27:39--> 01:27:49

certainly, there is for you, human beings and believers, in the Messenger of God, Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam,

01:27:50--> 01:27:54

the most profound pattern of human behavior.

01:27:56--> 01:27:59

Now, that's a challenge that God has made to the world.

01:28:01--> 01:28:14

Now this challenge must mean that it should be able to be proven that Mohammed categorically, is the most profound human being that has impacted upon humanity. That's what it means.

01:28:15--> 01:28:44

Now let's see if we can prove that. First of all, let me see if out of these 1000 or more people in this room, have these intelligent, educated, sophisticated, knowledgeable, endowed mature human beings? Is there anyone here that has heard of anyone that they'd like to stand up and say that they believe is the most profound human being that has impacted upon humanity categorically?

01:28:47--> 01:28:50

Now, we already talked about the Prophet so it had to be probably one of them.

01:28:51--> 01:28:53

Surely could have been Winston Churchill

01:28:55--> 01:28:57

couldn't have been Bonaparte Napoleon.

01:28:58--> 01:29:00

It can't be Michael Jackson.

01:29:02--> 01:29:06

It can't be Michael Jordan. Can't be Michael Tyson.

01:29:08--> 01:29:20

Who could it be? It's not your father, not your grandfather. is not the President or the premier of this country. It's not george bush is not turning Tony Blair. Who is it?

01:29:23--> 01:29:34

Who's the most profound human being that has impacted on humanity and documented history? Who is it? Well, I'll give you a hint. Five biographers of this age

01:29:36--> 01:29:36

01:29:38--> 01:29:46

graduate, premier biographers of our age, all of them non Muslims,

01:29:47--> 01:29:48

did a study

01:29:49--> 01:29:58

to determine the 100 most profound human beings that have impacted upon history. Three of them, conclusively said

01:30:00--> 01:30:02

It is Mohammed bin Abdullah,

01:30:05--> 01:30:11

Mohammed bin Abdullah, and one of them whose name was Michael H. Hart.

01:30:12--> 01:30:16

Now you can go check this out for yourselves, Michael is hard.

01:30:17--> 01:30:25

He said that his choice would have naturally been Jesus Christ because he's a Christian. But he had to admit that Jesus Christ was not a father.

01:30:26--> 01:30:33

He was not a husband. He was not a ruler, and he was not a statesman. So just on those issues, he said that he had to

01:30:35--> 01:30:36

01:30:37--> 01:31:02

to Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him because the competition in that case was only between Jesus and Mohammed. So Michael is hard, who would have chose Jesus admitted that categorically, we're not saying that Mohammed is better than Jesus, we said categorically, more profound impact because Mohammed was a father, he was a husband, he was a statesman, and he was a ruler, and Jesus Christ was not those for

01:31:05--> 01:31:41

my brothers and sisters, my respected non Muslim guests. My proposal, my proposition to you is that our purpose of life here is that one, we need to acknowledge Almighty God. Number two, we need to conform to Almighty God's law. Number three, we need to follow and admit the prophets of Almighty God and adapt their lives in their ways. And we need to begin as human beings to worship, introduce worship in our lives, a worship that is accepted by God, and whose worship is accepted by God, the worship of his prophets.

01:31:45--> 01:31:51

Our purpose in life is to acknowledge God, conform to God and worship Almighty God,

01:31:53--> 01:31:54

I appeal towards you.

01:31:56--> 01:32:16

I suggest to you, I propose to you that all of you, who are non Muslims, whatever denomination that you are, whatever kind of human being that you are, that you acknowledge now that you acknowledge in your hearts, in your seats where you are, that there's no need to be worshipped. Except Oh, my God, can you do that?

01:32:17--> 01:32:18

Can you do that?

01:32:21--> 01:32:28

Those of you who can do that, without any hesitancy just like a blink,

01:32:29--> 01:32:38

just like a knee jerk. Just like if I said your name. And I announced that I had $1,000 here for you. If I called you I'm saying Come on down.

01:32:43--> 01:32:47

That's right. If I told you to come down, you up there, you might fall off that balcony.

01:32:51--> 01:32:53

It would just be automatic.

01:32:55--> 01:32:58

So I'm asking you a simple question.

01:33:01--> 01:33:02

Can you admit?

01:33:04--> 01:33:05

Can you declare?

01:33:06--> 01:33:12

Can you at least raise your hand that is done to be worshipped except the Almighty, can you raise your hand?

01:33:13--> 01:33:14

No Muslim, put your hands down.

01:33:16--> 01:33:26

Now I'm asking a non Muslim See, that's the proposition I'm making Canada non Muslims are sitting here that I can see, can you raise your hand and tell me how many of you can accept that there's nothing to be worshipped except God?

01:33:28--> 01:33:37

How many come out for me? I can't see what this light in front of me. Can you raise your hand for me? Please don't just do like this, raise it up della mechanic

01:33:38--> 01:33:49

1-234-567-8910 1112? Is anybody 13 1415 1617?

01:33:50--> 01:33:59

Now let me say this to you to say that there is none to reverse to accept Almighty God, that itself is to be Muslim.

01:34:01--> 01:34:03

Not in say that makes you out?

01:34:08--> 01:34:19

I didn't say that makes you out. Because all Arabs are not Muslims. And all Muslims are not Arabs. As a matter of fact, only 19% of the Muslim population in the world are Arabs.

01:34:21--> 01:34:25

To be a Muslim is just to acknowledge, first of all, that there's nothing to be worshipped except to Almighty God.

01:34:29--> 01:34:32

And to be a little bit more definite, it means to accept

01:34:34--> 01:34:36

that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.

01:34:37--> 01:34:44

That Mohammed is a messenger. If you can't say the final messenger of God, that's because you just don't know.

01:34:46--> 01:34:59

But if Jesus, Jesus prophesied, Mohammed, and Mohammed confirmed Jesus Christ, and their morals were the same, and they were brothers of the same prophecy that Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. He had to be what he claimed to be.

01:35:00--> 01:35:01

And that is a messenger of God.

01:35:02--> 01:35:14

Now among those who raise their hands, is there anybody here who can also accept that Muhammad is the Messenger of God? Can I see the hand please? One,

01:35:16--> 01:35:18

can you stand for me quickly, just stand for me,

01:35:19--> 01:35:20

come right here, please,

01:35:50--> 01:35:51

I want to make this

01:35:52--> 01:35:55

I want to make this transition or this transaction.

01:35:56--> 01:36:19

Because this what it is, these are human beings is making a transaction with God. They're not making a transaction for us. They're making a transaction with God and a transition in their lives. So I want to make this easy for them, we have a gift for them. And we're going to give them this gift, which includes give each one of them, I'm going to tell them what it is.

01:36:40--> 01:36:43

Let me have one of the packages actually. So I can tell them what it is.

01:36:49--> 01:36:51

Now the gift that we're giving to them,

01:36:52--> 01:36:55

is something that will help them on their way.

01:36:58--> 01:37:01

One, it's a copy of the code n,

01:37:02--> 01:37:04

with the transliteration of the meanings.

01:37:07--> 01:37:08

01:37:09--> 01:37:16

it's a short, easy to read, authentic biography of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

01:37:18--> 01:37:24

Thirdly, it is a set of seven books.

01:37:34--> 01:37:40

It is a set of seven books that have in it, lessons for new Muslims.

01:37:41--> 01:37:47

Now, your acceptance of Islam is your acceptance of God.

01:37:48--> 01:38:10

Not your acceptance of me, or not your acceptance of these people, nor your acceptance of the political dynamics in the world, because it has nothing to do with that. It's just your acceptance of God. And this gift is to help you make that transfer transition. Did everybody receive a copy? You have a copy. Wonderful. I want you to say with me,

01:38:11--> 01:38:12

the simple words.

01:38:14--> 01:38:22

And these words are nothing more than what I have explained. There is no trick, no curve. And we don't have a pool in the back for you to dip in.

01:38:34--> 01:38:35

She's right here.

01:38:37--> 01:38:37

She's here.

01:38:40--> 01:38:41

She's here.

01:38:45--> 01:38:49

My brother, who my brother who is and rightfully so,

01:38:50--> 01:39:03

is very concerned and very inspired about one of the ladies who are here. And I also because she was brought here last night by her son.

01:39:06--> 01:39:15

And I mean, that's profound. That's the most profound gift that a son can give to his mother. And that's certainly the most profound gift that a mother can give to her son.

01:39:22--> 01:39:27

And that's our sister, Pam, that's here. And

01:39:29--> 01:39:30

I'll meet with all of these

01:39:36--> 01:39:41

are all of these fortunate and especial people

01:39:45--> 01:39:52

after we finished our meeting here this evening, but let's say the words, let's just go over the words called the Shahada,

01:39:54--> 01:39:59

the bearing of witness and I'll tell you what it is essentially it is the same of

01:40:00--> 01:40:04

There's nothing to be worshipped except Almighty God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God

01:40:07--> 01:40:24

saying that word and then adding to it, I testify or I declare or announce that there is none to be worshipped except Almighty God and that I testify or I declare or I announced that Muhammad is the Messenger of a God brings you all into the transition of Islam.

01:40:25--> 01:40:32

From that point, it's your sincerity, it's your acts of worship, it is your commitment

01:40:34--> 01:40:35

that will make the difference

01:40:36--> 01:40:43

now whatever you oh god of something you did that only you know and God knows after tonight, your board is clear.

01:40:45--> 01:40:48

Because God has the forgive of those that come back to him.

01:40:49--> 01:40:54

But whatever you owe somebody money rent alone, you still owe that.

01:40:58--> 01:40:59

Is that fair?

01:41:01--> 01:41:04

Okay, please just say after me,

01:41:06--> 01:41:08

the words lab

01:41:10--> 01:41:11

01:41:12--> 01:41:13

01:41:14--> 01:41:15

01:41:17--> 01:41:18

01:41:20--> 01:41:21

01:41:23--> 01:41:24

01:41:25--> 01:41:29

and La ilaha illAllah.

01:41:30--> 01:41:31

Wa eyeshadow.

01:41:33--> 01:41:37

ana Muhammadan Abu

01:41:38--> 01:41:39

01:41:40--> 01:41:41

01:41:42--> 01:41:49

salla Allahu alayhi. wa sallam Ameen.

01:41:59--> 01:42:04

Now what I want to say to to you, brothers and sisters, and honestly,

01:42:05--> 01:42:11

I'm truly grateful in the sight of Allah. Not because I'm going to get paid for each one of you.

01:42:12--> 01:42:17

Because it's not about that. But I'm grateful. Because

01:42:18--> 01:42:23

when I'm looking, when I look at you, I see myself 37 years ago.

01:42:29--> 01:42:41

And I do realize, I do realize that sincerity and commitment, and straight talking can change a person's life because it certainly changed mine.

01:42:43--> 01:43:06

And what I want to tell you is that all of you are fortunate, because certainly someone brought you here tonight. I mean, your own inquisitiveness, your own concern about life sort of navigated you here, or brought you here, but someone, some Muslim, who you have as an associate or relative, brought you here, that person is your sponsor.

01:43:07--> 01:43:12

That sponsor should help you work out your problems and your transition.

01:43:13--> 01:43:36

Now, because I live in the UK, because I'm from America, it means that I'll be a long distance mentor, friend of yours, brother in Islam and open for you to help you resolve your problems. But the Muslims of Sydney, Australia, and in particular, the sponsor that brought you here, your relative or your friend, those are the people that should work things out for you. Yes.

01:43:40--> 01:43:47

That's right. She said, it doesn't even have to be a person that you named because God might have brought you here is not beautiful.

01:43:56--> 01:44:06

Now, unfortunately, tomorrow morning, I'll be going to Melbourne and coming back on Thursday. And what I would like to do is to arrange to have dinner with all of you when we get back, can we raise it

01:44:09--> 01:44:13

so please take your gifts. I can shake hands with you pretty ladies.

01:44:21--> 01:44:23

May God bless you so much.

01:44:44--> 01:44:56

Brothers and sisters normally. Normally when we end our lecture, we usually have some questions and answers but I really think to myself that

01:44:59--> 01:44:59

everything is really

01:45:00--> 01:45:00

01:45:02--> 01:45:10

Now, if there are some non Muslims who are sitting here, who were not prepared,

01:45:11--> 01:45:22

who were not prepared now, to step forward to make that commitment, or to make that decision, that's okay, because there's no pressure involved.

01:45:24--> 01:45:41

And if you have some questions that you would like to ask me, privately, I'll be available for about 20 minutes after this lecture. And the brothers can bring you to that designated place. And I'd be more than glad to sit with you. For those of you who

01:45:43--> 01:45:47

are not prepared to even do that, that's fine. I want to thank you.

01:45:48--> 01:45:57

I want to thank you immensely, just for coming out from your house. And for sitting here just to find out what was our perspective of the purpose of life.

01:45:59--> 01:46:13

And I would like to say that I think now that minimally, if somebody says to you something erroneous about Islam, or our perspective of life, at least, I think what you should do is set the record straight.

01:46:15--> 01:46:19

That we are decent people, that we are God loving people,

01:46:20--> 01:46:43

that we are people who want to be good law abiding citizens, and productive and progressive, and that we just simply want to invite people to or we'd like to hear have our proposition to the world, considered, that's all. And I think that we should have that right along with anybody else that has a system of life or religion, would you agree?

01:46:44--> 01:47:12

And that if anything, we want to compliment Sydney, Australia, or Australia or the UK or any other place in the world where Muslims reside, right reside. That's what we want to do. I want to thank you very much. And I my suggestion is that we don't do a question and answer, because I think that those people that step forward, and the time constraints that we have right now, but what I'd like to ask you to do is that all of you have been given, I think, an envelope

01:47:13--> 01:47:19

when you came in or sat down, now that evelope is not for you to write your name and address on

01:47:20--> 01:47:39

that envelope is for you to deposit what you'd like to contribution towards the Islamic teaching Institute and its work. And the one Islam production studios, here in Sydney, Australia, the first of its kind in Australia.

01:47:41--> 01:48:00

Now you can do whatever you like with the envelope, you can fold it up, Mellon later on, you can fold it up, throw it away, you can blow in it and hand it to us, or you can put something in it that you think represents your contribution relative to what we tried to do. We want to thank you again. May God bless you and may Allah guide you.

01:48:42--> 01:48:44

What is the purpose of life life?

01:48:50--> 01:48:54

Why is it that when we ask the simple question,

01:48:55--> 01:48:57

what is the purpose of our lives?

01:48:59--> 01:49:02

Why do we get so many different answers?

01:49:06--> 01:49:10

Is because people haven't really thought about it.

01:49:11--> 01:49:13

It's too frightening.

01:49:15--> 01:49:29

Not the question itself is frightening. But what's frightening is that if we answer it clearly, it may change our lives. indelibly and we are afraid of change.

01:49:33--> 01:49:39

And now we have discovered that every part of creation that has been discovered is inside of a drop of water.

01:49:41--> 01:49:49

What the Quran already said that to us 1500 years ago, that we created everything in every single thing from water. The Quran said that

01:49:52--> 01:49:55

we want to talk this evening about

01:49:56--> 01:49:58

Jesus, the son of Mary

01:50:00--> 01:50:01

His phenomenal birth.

01:50:06--> 01:50:06

A birth

01:50:07--> 01:50:13

that very few human beings, whether Muslims or Christians have any argument about

01:50:15--> 01:50:27

we believe, and our Koran makes it clear for us and confirms for us that Jesus Christ in fact, he was born without the intervention of sperm.

01:50:29--> 01:50:36

that his mother Mary, that bless it woman, she became pregnant by the word of God.

01:50:39--> 01:50:40

No man touched

01:50:45--> 01:50:47

eight murders

01:50:48--> 01:50:52

or homicides are committed every 19 minutes

01:50:54--> 01:50:58

and to rates are committed every seven minutes

01:51:01--> 01:51:03

and they are three robberies

01:51:04--> 01:51:06

every 59 seconds.

01:51:08--> 01:51:22

There are 257,000 children that are legally or illegally aborted. That is 257,000 children are killed in the womb.

01:51:24--> 01:51:25

By license

01:51:27--> 01:51:29

21 million children

01:51:30--> 01:51:36

are born every year out of wedlock, who do not know their mothers and fathers

01:51:38--> 01:51:41

or who do not know whom they are fathered by

01:51:43--> 01:52:02

2.8 million suicides every year of human beings who find no reason to live with these kinds of social problems inside of their own boundaries inside of their own governments and their own institutions. How can they

01:52:03--> 01:52:05

bring peace to the world?

01:52:07--> 01:52:08

It doesn't make sense.

01:52:12--> 01:52:13

All Muslims?

01:52:15--> 01:52:28

Allah subhanho wa Taala reminds you and me that whatever good happens, it is from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And if something else happens, this is from our own hands.

01:52:32--> 01:52:40

Allah subhanho wa Taala he has voted you and I to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.

01:52:41--> 01:52:58

And when we cease to do that, we don't enjoy the right. We don't enjoy, enjoy and we don't enjoy on the right we don't forbid the wrong then Allah subhanho wa Taala promise that he will visit us a calamity from himself.

01:53:00--> 01:53:01

So that

01:53:04--> 01:53:13

when the calamity happens, or you are punished, and the receiver comes upon you and you call upon Allah, He will not answer.

01:53:15--> 01:53:17

What do the Muslims of today expect?

01:53:21--> 01:53:27

The character of the Muslim is the most important part of the Muslim.

01:53:28--> 01:53:34

Not what he or she says, not only what he or she wears,

01:53:35--> 01:53:49

not where they come from, or who their mother or father is or grandfather, not the country they live in, or for that matter if they live next to the Kaaba is not important at all.

01:53:50--> 01:53:53

It is the character because the character is the actual fruit.

01:53:56--> 01:54:08

And we can remember on the occasion, when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam invited his companions to make a sacrifice in the way of Allah subhana wa tada

01:54:10--> 01:54:12

and their own model called Bob.

01:54:14--> 01:54:16

He brought half of his wealth

01:54:19--> 01:54:20

and he considered this to have been

01:54:21--> 01:54:23

a major sacrifice.

01:54:24--> 01:54:26

And he was very proud of that.

01:54:29--> 01:54:32

But when Abu Bakr wrote the law and came abubaker

01:54:34--> 01:54:36

he brought all of his wealth.

01:54:39--> 01:54:42

And when the profits on the long line ism asked abubaker

01:54:43--> 01:54:50

what he had left for his family. What was the response of abubaker odilon he said Allahu Allah Sulu.

01:54:51--> 01:54:59

A lion is messengers a lot of sin. And it was by the suggestion of the author of the prophets allows them that abacha took back some of his wealth

01:55:00--> 01:55:01

For his family

01:55:03--> 01:55:06

and this is why the Prophet sallallahu Sallam

01:55:07--> 01:55:08

01:55:09--> 01:55:13

that there was no one from among the Muslims

01:55:14--> 01:55:19

who displayed his loyalty to a lot His Messenger, civilize them similar to that of Abu Bakar.

01:55:23--> 01:55:31

So Allah subhanho wa Taala. He said yes, definitely who, who is better, who is more excellent

01:55:33--> 01:55:40

than the one that calls towards the loss upon Allah tala, not just calling, not just shouting, not just arguing.

01:55:42--> 01:55:51

Well, I'm sorry, but they are acting upon what they are calling, they are setting a precedent for what they are calling to.

01:55:52--> 01:56:06

They have established a behavior of paradigm, an example to what they are calling to. And they openly say, announced, I am Muslim.

01:56:09--> 01:56:20

We're oceans and rivers meet, does the ocean take over the river, it doesn't, although the ocean might be five times six times, eight times 10 times larger than a river.

01:56:21--> 01:56:24

And, you know, if you took two bodies of water,

01:56:25--> 01:56:26

and you put a funnel in between them,

01:56:28--> 01:56:31

what would happen, the larger body would absorb the smaller body weight today.

01:56:33--> 01:56:41

But in the case of the ocean, in the river, it doesn't happen because a LA City put a bus up so they do not overcome each other. And one of our

01:56:42--> 01:56:45

Jacques Cousteau who passed away now he was a marine biologist.

01:56:46--> 01:56:48

He was able to film

01:56:49--> 01:56:58

under the ocean, where the rivers meet the ocean. And the river meets the ocean and the ocean meets the river and they go back.

01:56:59--> 01:57:11

They meet and they go back. So therefore the rivers return back to itself and the ocean returns back to itself. They do not overcome each other. How does the Prophet know that?

01:57:14--> 01:57:24

Islam has five fundamental pillars, the first of which is to bear witness that there's none of you worship except Almighty God, consistent with

01:57:26--> 01:57:30

the first commandment given to Moses, consistent with

01:57:31--> 01:57:41

the first commandment that Jesus Christ also said, is the greatest of the commandments. Here you Israel, the Lord thy God is one. Absolutely one, not the number one.

01:57:43--> 01:57:46

Not the number one that could be divided into 123.

01:57:48--> 01:57:50

Not the number one that could be multiplied.

01:57:52--> 01:58:14

But absolutely one, having no one Besides, no other God Besides, he or Israel, the Lord that God is one and that shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and all the mind and all thy soul, and thou shalt not worship anyone except the Lord that God, no bow down to any graven images in the heavens of the earth or the sea below.

01:58:15--> 01:58:21

Such said Moses, and said confirm Jesus Christ, and such says the Quran.

01:58:23--> 01:58:28

This is what we bear witness. And this is the first pillar of Islam is the most important.

01:58:32--> 01:58:42

If war erupts in Iraq, more than 3000 missiles will be rained upon Iraq in the course of 66 hours, and more than a half a million people will be killed.

01:58:44--> 01:58:45

Can you tell me

01:58:46--> 01:58:48

how the lives of a half a million people

01:58:51--> 01:59:01

are equal to a leader Saddam Hussein if America was able to go into South America and pull out what was the guy's name General,

01:59:04--> 01:59:04

01:59:07--> 01:59:10

America selling drugs with Noriega, but then Noriega flipped on them.

01:59:12--> 01:59:23

So they went in and took this man from his country, brought them out and put them in jail for life in their country. So why didn't we just go into Iraq and pull out saddam? No, they need to go into Iraq.

01:59:25--> 01:59:44

Why? Because you will find that in a matter of six months after the war, the prices in the oil will go down. And as we speak right now, there are 27 mega companies, mega companies who are bidding for contracts for the reconstruction of Iraq, but it does have to do with Saddam Hussein and democracy.

01:59:48--> 01:59:49

If a man

01:59:50--> 01:59:53

had to get pregnant and have a baby, he would die.

01:59:56--> 02:00:00

And then on top of that, if he had to look forward to taking care of that child,

02:00:00--> 02:00:00

For the next

02:00:02--> 02:00:08

10 1520 years, and sometime the mother, she's taking care of a grown child,

02:00:09--> 02:00:12

men who still live with their mothers,

02:00:14--> 02:00:15

you couldn't do it.

02:00:16--> 02:00:18

And still, she's taking care of herself.

02:00:19--> 02:00:20

And she's taking care of her husband.

02:00:21--> 02:00:24

Male loss upon the reward those sisters

02:00:25--> 02:00:27

and male law cover their false

02:00:28--> 02:00:41

male law cause their husbands and brothers and sons to appreciate them, because they are the goodly trees that bear the goodly fruit, a loss of Panama Island mentioned in the Quran.

02:00:44--> 02:00:59

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu sallam, he made brotherhood, very sacred, very important. It's the whole basis of the Muslim society brotherhood. And when there is no brotherhood, believe it, there is no substance among the Muslims.

02:01:00--> 02:01:01

No substance.

02:01:05--> 02:01:11

The first principle and characteristics of Tao is that the die has to have knowledge.

02:01:13--> 02:01:15

Not just ambition.

02:01:16--> 02:01:44

Not just emotional drive, and not just a reaction to some insult that somebody has said, and not just a feeling to want to give down because you know, it's the obligation. All those things are good, and it's all necessary. But without knowledge, what are you gonna do, but always show your composure and your willingness to talk to anybody? Because why?

02:01:45--> 02:01:57

You put your trust in Allah subhanaw taala from the very beginning, the message of a loss loss and he didn't have all the answers, but he put his trust upon law. A law says to him for tobacco Allah in kuntum

02:01:58--> 02:01:59

02:02:08--> 02:02:08

02:02:09--> 02:02:10

02:02:12--> 02:02:13
