Ramadan with Allah – Episode #6 – Al-Ridha Billah – Being Content with Allah

We previously spoke about a very important aspect of our relationship with Allah subhanho wa Taala.

that drives us to want to worship Him.

Another important aspect of our relationship with Allah, Lake love is what we call

and so the reason why many of us do not find and do not taste the sweetness of a man or pleasure in our Habad

or

we allow doubts concerning our Dean to overtake us.

One of the reasons for that is because of our lack of a river, our lack of this

satisfaction and contentment for a lot in our hearts.

And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said

da da Malema

will be Mohammed in Rasulullah.

He has found the taste of he man, the one who is content with a lie satisfied with a lot as his Lord, with Islam as his religion and with Mohammed as his messenger.

And so what this means is that your Eman

is based on contentment, and satisfaction in what you have decided to believe in.

The reason why you believe

and the reason why you are a Muslim is because you're happy, you're content, deep down inside, you're happy, you're content, you're satisfied. And it's not something that you're dissatisfied with.

It's not something that you know, someone is forcing you. Or, you know, I'm simply Muslim because because I was born in a Muslim family, you know,

you believe and you are a Muslim because you're satisfied.

You're content with this Deen and you're content with Allah is your Lord.

And so, the reason why many of us don't find that pleasure in our rabada in our worship,

or, you know, we have doubts and we allow doubts concerning Islam to overtake us is because, you know, we don't have this level of satisfaction.

And so, the one who does

he willfully

willfully submits

to Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

And that is because he has contempt, he is satisfied with a lot and with what Allah has legislated, and with what Allah has decreed.

Whatever Allah has legislated, of laws and rulings,

I'm happy I'm content. I'm satisfied with it. Whatever Allah has decreed, whether it be a calamity, a catastrophe for me.

I'm satisfied. I'm content

because this is the

order of Allah

Ibrahim,

he mentions how this rank of Riba

have, you know the satisfaction and contentment with Allah. It is something that is easily cleaned by many. But it is the hardest, the hardest thing. It is the hardest thing to prove when tested, especially when something comes, that goes contrary to the Hauer and the desire of one's knifes.

And what he said is true.

And this is why

it's one thing

to be patient over what Allah has decreed of calamities.

That's one thing to be patient. And that's what's required of us.

But it's another thing and it's another level to

after being patient, to then being satisfied, and content with what Allah has decreed.

And that is a true test of one's email.

You know, something terrible happens in your life.

You lose a loved one, you are faced with a certain calamity, a certain illness, you've lost your job, you've lost your spouse, maybe you've lost your child, maybe, you know, whatever, whatever painful calamity comes into your life.

To Be patient, this is what Allah wants from us.

But it's another level showing your Eman to then be satisfied and content with what Allah has decreed.

And that is a true test of one's email.

And so it is this level of river

that the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had achieved which is why Allah in turn, became satisfied with them.

It's one thing that you know, we are satisfied with Allah. But it's another thing and you know, that we're going to an even third level

for a lot to become satisfied with you for a lot to become pleased and content with you. That's a whole different level. And it was a level that the Sahaba had reached, and Allah attested to in the Quran. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala said, was sadly, una una manera mahadji read and will unsought one lady in the room v San, or how do you Allahu?

Allah says, and the first four runners from among the mahadji rune and the unsolved

and those who follow them in good conduct,

Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with him.

And Allah subhanahu wa tada said regarding the companions

when they passed the test on the day of who de de

And they were forced into this treaty with their enemy with Pradesh. that prevented them from being able to proceed to Mecca. And they had to return to Medina. They were on the outskirts of Mecca.

And many of the companions if they found it extremely difficult to compromise, and to enter into this treaty,

but they did in the end. Why? Because they were satisfied with the ruling of Allah and His messenger. And so as a result, a lot from above. From above the seven heavens, he testified that he subhanho wa Taala became pleased with them. Lacan, Ravi, Allahu Anil, Nina. If you buy your rune aka, Dr. shujaa.

But the question is, why did they gain this law of Allah subhanahu wa tada because when their email was tested, they proved that they were satisfied and content with a lot and His Messenger so

True contentment is when your heart is at peace. When your heart is

content

with Allah subhanho wa Taala as your Lord,

as the legislator,

as the one who is the only one deserving of our worship of the one who has control of everything in this universe,

you are content with such a Lord subhanho wa Taala.

And you are content with

Islam as your dean.

You're happy and your content and you're satisfied that this is the deen that Allah subhanho wa Taala wants me to follow and you are contented and happy and satisfied with Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as

your messenger

and so regarding babila being content with the law, we've spoken about this, how about being satisfied with Islam as your religion, Allah says,

I am pleased with Islam for you as your religion. So Allah is content with Islam for us. And so we should also be content. As for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

being content with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as our Prophet and Messenger. Allah says, follow our bigger law. You mean Luna? Had you had chemo caffeine or sugar or

by your Lord, they will never believe they will never be true believers until they have accepted you or Mohammed as the judge in their disputes. And then they find no resistance within themselves against your decision. And they submit wholeheartedly. Who does that? The one who's obviously satisfied with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as the one who we should obey.

And so when your heart

becomes content with all of this,

you find no objection whatsoever to anything that Allah subhanho wa Taala has either legislated or that he has decreed.

Why because you are content, you are satisfied and you are happy.

And the reason why

many end up with so many doubts concerning our Deen

especially those that the enemies of Islam target us with

so many different accusations concerning our Deen.

Like for example, you know, Islam restricts our freedoms, or Islam is a bloodthirsty religion. It's a violent religion, or for example, that Islam

treats women unequally.

All of these are doubts.

One of the reasons why many of us we fall to these doubts

is because we are not fully satisfied with a lot as the one who has legislated this Deen for us. Because if we were satisfied, we would accept it wholeheartedly. And we would say you know what? The wisdom behind certain things that Allah has legislated.

Maybe I don't fully understand, but because I'm satisfied with Allah as my Lord, I accepted

this this is the meaning of a river the law.

A river, Islam a river been B Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam This is the meaning of it.

And this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, no one tastes the sweetness of a man until he is satisfied with a lot as his Lord with Islam as his religion and with Mohammed Salah Allahu Allah as his messenger.

Likewise, this is regarding what Allah has legislated. Likewise what Allah has decreed the reason why

many of us

We object to the decree of Allah,

the color of Allah, when Allah sends a certain calamity, a certain crisis upon us,

we're not patient.

And we start to object or Allah, why did you? Why did you decree this for me?

And it is sometimes these catastrophes in our lives, that leads certain people to become atheist.

And then they refer to this as the problem of evil.

That, you know, how could there be a God who is All Merciful, if we have suffering and calamities on earth?

Once again,

what led these people to such a conclusion? It was because of a lack of belief,

a lack of satisfaction and contentment with Allah subhanho wa Taala, as my Lord.

Because if you are truly satisfied with a lot as your Lord,

then you would say, if a calamity hits you, you would say, you know what,

maybe I don't see the wisdom in this, maybe I don't see any good in this.

But

I know there must be some good in it. And I am satisfied with what Allah has decreed. Because I know there must be some good event. Because whatever Allah decrees,

he decrees it for something good.

But many times that wisdom is concealed from us, and we don't see it.

And so, once you reach this state, of river, of contentment, of satisfaction, you will taste the sweetness of man. And you will be driven to want to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala and seek the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And so, this is something important for us to instill within our hearts in this month of Ramadan, so that we could find the pleasure of our a battle, I want to conclude

with a very, very beautiful Hadeeth.

Speaking about

a lost river

and contentment and satisfaction with the believers, who end up in general.

So, this is a laws river

with the believers,

after the believers became satisfied with a law

This is what we have spoken about throughout this session, speaking about our satisfaction with Allah. Now we look at a lot of satisfaction with with the believers. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says

in this Hadith,

Are you satisfied?

Allah will say,

That's it. From this day forward.

I will never be displeased with you.

And so there is nothing greater than to achieve the Rebbe the pleasure and the satisfaction of Allah subhanho wa Taala. It will call him He says, the river of Allah with his servant is greater than Jenna and everything in it. Why? Because the river is an attribute of Allah. While Jenna is a creation of his Think about it.

Gender is something Allah has created

as a reward for us,

but a river

the pleasure of Allah the satisfaction of Allah. This is

an attribute of Allah, uncreated.

is a reward for their law.

Their river of Allah in the dunya and since this reward is the greatest reward, the means to achieve it

is the best of deeds.

And so here it is Nakayama. He says that the river of Allah, Allah being satisfied with you.

Is the reward of the people of Jenga.

Why did it happen? Why did they gain the river of Allah? Because

because they

had become pleased with a lot. They were satisfied with Allah subhanho wa Taala.

They had this

meaning in their hearts, that we are satisfied with Allah. Once they were satisfied with Allah, it led them to do that. Which is only pleasing to Allah subhanahu wa tada and that is what led them to gain the riddle of Allah in the dunya and eventually into Allah. We ask Allah subhanahu wa tada to grant us the real law in him and in his Deen and in His messenger Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. We
