We move on to the next parable in sort of Baccarat.

This parable is in verse number 266.

And so here Allah subhanho wa Taala continues on the theme of giving in

sadaqa in charity

and this particular parable is about

the consequence

of giving in soda and then unknowingly

and this is the second parable on this same topic.

here Allah subhanho wa Taala says,

Why? Because it has

It's receiving rain.

There are certain things that we need to be careful of that will cause our deem

Thinking like all that,

Also what nullifies our deeds is,

you know, doing your sins, or doing good publicly, in front of the people, you are very righteous. But then when you are behind closed doors,

you don't care about

about committed sin. So you commit sins in private,

while being righteous in public. Also, what nullifies our good deeds is a little

wronging others.

And

all of these examples of things that nullify our deeds will come, will come across the various hobbies that that speak about.

And so Allah subhanho wa Taala here

tells us that our charity that we give,

if we nullify our charity, then it is like a garden that has palm trees, that has grape vine that has every kind of fruit. And at the same time, it has these rivers gushing beneath it beneath it.

But then you are afflicted with old age and you have weak children. And then this garden of yours, it is hit with this tornado,

and it is burned down. This is what a lot compares our charity to our charity

that we are known, and we allowed to go towards.

And so when it came time to yield the harvest, when it came time for you to go and collect the fruit that you had worked so hard on, you know,

producing this fruit, when it came time to yield the harvest, and collect the fruit. it all became destroyed, after all the hard work and effort.

And this is when

this is when you are most in need of it. Because you're old, you have weak children.

So not only that, but imagine such an individual

who works so hard to his entire life. And then this happens to him.

Even if he wanted to build it all back up again, from scratch. He can't because he's too old. And he has no support

from his young children.

And so this is actually similar to a woman in sort of column. When Allah tells us about how the agenda the companions of the Guardian

And so those who sacrifice their wealth, and they give it in charity, hoping to see the fruit of that on the Day of Judgment, when they will be most in need of it.

And so, when that day comes,

and they look for the rewards of those deeds, that reward of their sadaqa they see that it is all destroyed.

As Allah subhanho wa Taala says elsewhere will Kadima Ilana army luminol ajala, who had the Torah, then we will turn to their good deeds,

whatever they did in this light, and we will make it like dust that is first.

And so some people they will fall into regret, into desperation, worse than the regret. And the desperation of this old man and his destroyed garden, who did who did not, he was not able to benefit himself, nor his children after him.

And so in this dunya, we work hard,

we work hard to build a future for ourselves and our children.

So imagine,

when you spend of your wealth,

let's say on your dunya for the sake of your dunya

you work so hard you save so much

in order to build your future, and the future for your children

like this old man who have this garden

and he became an old man now.

And he should be producing a lot of a lot of fruit.

So he is planning for his future and the future of the children.

He's building it and then all of a sudden it disappears right before his eyes.

That is how these people will come

on the day of judgment on your model piano.

Among the lessons that we learn from this parable is first of all, a warning for the believer, a warning for the believer to keep an eye out for his intention.

Our intention

is the most important thing

regarding our good deeds,

more important than the good deed itself and the effort that we put into. If the intention is not right. The deed will go to waste, all that effort will go to waste. And so we need to constantly keep an eye out for our intention, renewing it, giving special attention to our media.

That's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said intimate

The deeds are based upon pensions.

And a person will only get a reward

based upon his intention.

The second lesson that we learned is that there are certain things that are no our good news. There are certain things

cancel our good deeds that we need to be aware of.

So that we don't waste our good deeds, so that we don't end up becoming like this desperate person who will come on the Day of Judgment, hoping to see the reward of his good deeds. But because of something that he did, they all went towards among these things is,

as we mentioned earlier,

doing your good deeds,

not sincerely for the sake of a law, but to show off to the people.

You pray so that people see you and say that you are

a devout worshiper of a lot. You give in your sadhaka in front of the people with the intention

to show off so that the people can see what a generous man

you didn't do it for the sake of Allah. So Aria is extremely dangerous.

And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that it is one of the most

one of one of the most

fearful things that he feared for his own.

And he referred to it as the subtle, the hidden kind of shift.

Also, what destroys our good deeds is an origin, as we mentioned, self admiration,

which is to do a good deed and then afterwards,

having this sense of pride

and attributing

the hard work to yourself

and not attributing it to Allah Subhana, who

also

what are knows our good deeds is, as we mentioned previously, and men when other and so this parable that we're discussing right now is the second parable,

talking about

our deeds becoming a note, a previous parable that we covered, was on the same topic of how our good deeds are an old because of elemen Well, as

those who give in their sadhaka their charity, and then they remind people about their righteousness. So you gave to a poor person.

And then,

years later, you see that poor person, he's become well off. He's no longer a poor person. Let's say he's become rich. And you see him and you look at him, and you're like,

to remind him, you say,

Who do you think you are?

It was me who gave you on that day when you were in need. And so this is what we refer to as men.

And a woman mentioned in the, in one of the previous parables that we covered, how elmen it nullifies and, you know, causes our charity, that charity, it causes it to, to go to waste and other other is, you know, injury, or hurtful words.

Speaking to the poor people who we are giving our soda to speaking to them with demeaning and humiliating words.

Also, what uh, knows our good deeds.

And we mentioned this previously, doing good publicly but committing sins privately. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in a hadith in this regard,

he said, I know people of my own who will come on the Day of Judgment

with the deeds like the mountains of Tiana,

the mountains of the hammer, where they are a mountain range, stretching all the way from Yunnan to into Hejaz

spanning across hedgerows, which is which includes Mecca and Medina.

So these are humongous mountain. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said they will come on the Day of Judgment with good deeds like the mountains of Tiana but Allah will make them scattered link

below will make the rewards of these deeds become scattered like Deus

The profit

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied,

they are your brothers, from your race, worshipping at night, as you do. But they are people who, when they are alone,

behind closed doors, they transgress the sacred limits of a lot, meaning that

they commit sin.

They transgress against the limits of Allah, they commit sins behind closed doors.

So this is something extremely dangerous for those who put on a certain face in the public.

Going off their righteousness. People think that they are righteous, and then behind closed doors, they commit sins without hearing.

Also, among those things that nullify and cause our good deeds to go to waste is avoided. As we mentioned, wronging other

wronging others, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in this regard, he asked the companions, do you know who the bankrupt person is?

So the companion said, Yes.

The bankrupt one is

the one among us who does not have a single dyrham he does not have any wealth.

So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no, rather, the bankrupt of my oma

is the one who will come on the Day of Judgment, with prayers, with fasts with zetta. But

he hurled abuses upon others, he falsely accused others, he unlawfully consumed the wealth of others, he shed the blood of others, and he physically abused others.

And so his good deeds will be credited to the account of those who suffered at his hands.

And then, if his good deeds fall short,

then, if his good deeds fall short,

to clear, you know, the account of others,

meaning, you know,

their scale of good deeds, their scale of good deeds compared to their sins, their sins are still heavy, even after the scale of good deeds have become heavier with your good deeds, but their skill of sins are still heavier. If that's the case, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, then his sins,

the sins of the one who is oppressed, will be taken out of his account and thrown on to

to the oppressor, the one who wronged him.

And so, this is the one who is truly bankrupt. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, and then he will be thrown into the hellfire.

So we need to be really careful

of volume, because

there are two kinds of volume

there is a volume with respect to Allah. And then there is a volume with respect

to our fellow human beings, and our fellow brothers and sisters.

The one with respect to Allah is to transgress.

In terms of sinning

with regards to what Allah has made haram upon us, that which is between us and Allah,

Allah subhanho wa Taala, All Merciful,

and he will forgive us.

The chances of us being forgiven for that which is between us and a lot. There's a good chance there. But

when it comes to the rights of others, if we transgress the rights of others,

and the only way for us to be forgiven is by those other people. That's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us

to

fix our relationship with our brothers and sisters, before a day comes in which we will not be able to fix that up.

And Allah subhanho wa Taala will allow us to take place on the Day of Judgment. where, you know, this is an example of what will take place. So these are among the things that cause our deeds to go to waste. And so we need to be extremely careful
