Welcome to this latest episode of heart therapy.
In the last episode, we had
a discussion concerning the life and death of hearts and how the true life and death of a heart is not what the doctor is telling you
that once the heart feels physically,
the heart is dead. No, rather, the real life and death of the heart is that the living heart is the heart that recognizes its creator and submits to him alone.
And the real depth of the heart is the opposite of that. And that is the heart that rejects Allah subhanho wa Taala and does not submit to Him.
In this episode, we move on to look at the different kinds of hearts
and so, not all hearts are the same. There are different kinds of hearts
and
the famous scholar
from the 14th century
Abraham or Josie, may Allah have mercy upon him.
He basically
mentioned that there are three main kinds of hearts or three categories of hearts. And he explained it in quite a lot of detail. And so,
I found that it would be very beneficial, if we summarize what he mentioned regarding this. And so, he mentioned that, because the heart is described as possessing life or death, it is classified into three kinds.
The first is the heart that is known as a Saleem little called a Sally
or the sound or healthy heart. The second is the dead heart. And the third is the sick or the diseased heart.
As for the sound heart and called Saleem, it is that heart that is safe from every single type of shanwa or lustful desire that opposes the commands and prohibitions of
it is the heart that is safe from every kind of shubha or doubt, or uncertainty regarding Allah, and his legislations that would obscure or go against the narrative of Allah subhanho wa Taala. It is also the heart that is safe from displaying any rudia or servitude to any other than Allah subhanho wa Taala. And it is also the heart that is safe from seeking ruling
from other than the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
He goes on to say that this heart therefore becomes safe or secure, through loving Allah subhanho wa Taala and seeking the ruling of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
It also become safe and secure.
Through showing a law, fear and hope in his reward by placing his trust and reliance upon a lot Actos
by turning to Allah in repentance October and Inaba by humbling itself before Allah Allahu Shura, by preferring what pleases Allah subhanho wa Taala in every circumstance and distancing itself from everything that will displease Allah subhanho wa Taala, in every way possible.
And so, this is the reality of what is known as a liberal media or servitude, which can only be directed to a loss of Hannah who would Allah Allah.

whatsoever. And instead, it servitude is only directed to and purely for Allah subhanho wa Taala. Its desire, it's love, its crust, its repentance, its humbleness, its fear, its hope is for Allah alone. And its actions are purely for the sake of Allah subhana wa Tada. So when it loves, it loves for the sake of Allah, when it hates, it hates for the sake of Allah alone. When it gives, it gives for the sake of Allah alone, when it withholds from giving. It withholds for the sake of Allah, Allah. But this alone does not suffice until the heart becomes secure, from submitting to and going to anybody else, but the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for judgment. Thus the heart
does not put itself before him, in any matter related to belief, saying or action. And then he mentioned the verse where Allah says, Yeah, you have Latina Ave, LA to continue by in a de la hora Sol, or you believe, do not put yourselves before a law and His Messenger. Then he goes on to mention that the sound heart does not become sound or safe, until it is safe, from five things

that nullifies token, from innovation that goes against the sooner
from a shanwa lustful desire that goes against a loss command, from a love law, heedlessness that nullifies a vicar or the remembrance of Allah and from the Hawa from the whims and desires that nullify applause or sincerity. Finally, Allah mentioned the sound heart of Salim when he said, on the tongue upon the tongue of His Messenger, Ibrahim alayhis, salam, yo mela Yun, una Lune. One afternoon. Ibrahim alayhi salam, he mentioned that on the day in which no human being will be able to benefit from anything, not from his wealth, nor from his children 11 at a law her bill called bill Saleem, except he who comes to Allah with a sound heart. And so in this verse, Allah mentions
that heart which is known as called SLE, or the sound heart.
Moving on to the next heart, that is, the dead heart.
ebru came. He says that the dead heart is the heart that contains no life.
It doesn't know its Lord, and it doesn't worship Him by complying to his commands, and doing that which he loves, and is pleased with. Instead, it is a slave to its desires.
It's temptations, its pleasures, even if these things lead to the displeasure of its Lord and His anger. He goes on to say, as long as it fulfills its cravings and attains its worldly desires. He doesn't care if it's Lord is pleased or displeased. What does this remind you of? He reminds you of so many people in this world today.
Who don't care if they're committing a sin, even when they're reminding, even when they are reminded of the evil that they're doing. So they don't care whether what they're doing is pleasing to Allah, or whether it is displeasing to
me, okay and goes on to say, therefore it worships other than a law. It directs its love. Its fear, its hope, its pleasure. Its displeasure, its glorification. Its submission to other than him. When it loves, it loves for the sake of its base desires. When it hates, it hates for the sake of its base desires. When it gives, it gives, for the sake of its base desires, when it withhold from giving it withhold, for the sake of its base desires. It gives preference to its base desires, and these are more beloved to it. Then the pleasure of its master, its creator, Allah subhanahu wa Tada.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala has mentioned this dead heart in many different places in the Quran, referring to the hearts of the disbelievers and how he caused their hearts to become sealed.
And so even if you were to try to guide them, to remind them, to give them some kind of inspiration, none of that benefits them. Why? Because their hearts have become sealed. There is a cover on their hearts, their hearts are dead, you could consider their hearts to be buried in their bodies. And so for example, Allah subhanho wa Taala says cadair Lika jacoba Allahu Allah could legally be Muta kept beating Jabba Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Thus does Allah seal over every heart belonging to an arrogant tyrant.

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. welcome back to this episode of heart therapy. Before the break, we were mentioning the different kinds of hearts. And so we mentioned how a bloke like him. He mentioned how there are three different kinds of hearts, the sound heart, the dead heart and the diseased heart. We already explained the sound heart and the dead heart. Now we move on to the diseased or the sick heart. It will tell you mentions that the diseased heart is a heart that contains life, but also possesses a defect.
It has two urges, calling it one leading it to life and the other leading to its death. And it follows whichever of the two that predominates. And so it contains love of Allah. And amen in Allah sincerity to him, and putting its reliance upon him from those matters which are essential to its life.
But it also contains the love of its desires, giving preference to them and eagerness to attain these base desires. And so it contains jealousy, arrogance, self amazement, and love of ranking and sowing corruption in the land, through attaining leadership from those matters that necessarily lead to its destruction and devastation.
It is constantly being trialed, being put to trial by two colors, one calling it to Allah, His Messenger and the abode of the Ashura and the other calling it to this temporary, worldly world that we live in. And so it responds to the one that is closest and the one that is most predominant at that time.
And so the
are the three types of hearts and it is these three types of hearts that Allah subhanho wa Taala has mentioned when he subhanho wa Taala said, one out of seven amicably common Rasulullah. And well and Ambien illa irata min Alka shaytaan fi only yet, Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that
we do not ascend before you any messenger or prophet, except that when he spoke or recited shaitan threw into it into the revelation, some misunderstanding, but Allah subhanho wa Taala says, For young finance a whole wha hoo

hoo, yet, Allah says, But Allah abolishes that would shaytaan throws into the revelation. Then Allah makes precise his verses. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says

Allah subhanho wa Taala says, that is so he saw that Allah may make what shaitan throws into it, a trial for those for who little leadin a few Hulu be him moron. Well, of course he at Hulu.
Allah says, Why does Allah allow this? Why does he allow shaitan to throw
some falsehood into the revelation? A law says so that
Allah may make what shaitan throws in as a fitna as a trial for those within their hearts is a disease and those whose hearts have become hardened.
And so, Allah subhanho wa Taala says we're in a volley menial official coffin buried and verily the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension, then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Wali Yeah, lemon larina Ooh, too late. And so those who are given knowledge may know may know what, and who will help Kumar Robic so that they know it is the truth from your Lord, for you mean will be for to PETA, Allahu kulu boom. So that, therefore they believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to.
And so here are three verses, what do we gather from these three verses? What do we notice here? We notice here that Allah subhanahu wa taala divided the people into three categories
concerning these efforts by shaitan, to throw some misguidance into the revelation of law, to cause confusion,
a lot divided the people into three into three categories.
And so I mentioned two types of hearts that are put to trial that are put to trial, and one type of heart that is victorious. And so the two types of heart that are put to trial, or the diseased and the harsh, the hardened, and the dry heart and the victorious heart. It is the heart of the of the believer, that is humble before its Lord. And so it is at rest and satisfaction with Allah subhanho wa Taala, submissive and obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And so here Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned the three types of hearts, the sound heart, the dead heart and the diseased heart.
Now, if we also were to contemplate we realize that these three kinds of hearts are very similar to the three kinds of souls that the scholars mentioned. And so, the souls of mankind our souls are of three different kinds. We have what is known as enough's Amar be suit the soul that is prone to evil. The soul that is prone to evil as Allah says, In the nafsa that are narrow to be su Ilana Rahim Allah be
that indeed the soul is inclined to evil or prone to evil, except those upon which my lord has mercy.
The second kind of soul is enough to lower the soul that always blames itself.
As Allah subhanho wa Taala says, swearing, taking an oath by that soul without oxygen will be enough Silla one and I swear by the self
accusing soul, the soul that is always accusing itself, always reminding itself that you know, look what you're doing is wrong.
And then the third type of soul and knifes ultimate man in the soul that is at peace. And this is the soul where Allah subhanho wa Taala will call it on the Day of Judgment. Yeah a year to hand in all reassured soul, all soul that is at peace and contentment. era de la Viki rabita Maria returned to your Lord, well pleased and pleasing to Him. So Hannah, who, what?
And so if we notice,
the hearts are similar. And so the diseased heart, the ill or the sick heart is similar to enough's. elewana, the one that is always accusing itself. And the dead heart is similar to which heart, the heart or the soul, that is the soul that is prone to evil, enough cell ammara the suit and as for the sound heart, it is similar to an ultimate in the soul that is at peace and contentment.
Now,
we also have the categories of the believers. And so the believers, the believers, I'm not talking about the disbelievers, but only among the believers. We have different kinds, based on their actions and their good deeds as Allah mentions. When he says something that automatically tabula Dino Stephane, I mean, he died in then we caused those we have chosen of our servants to inherit the book
for men whom Voluma Lena, among them, is he who wrongs himself, woman whom McDowell said, and among them is He who is moderate woman whom Sadie COVID hierarchy in Allah, and among them is He who is foremost in good deeds, by the permission of Allah. And so also hear a lot divides us into three, those who are for most and doing good deeds, and those who are in between, they are not, you know, on the forefront of doing good deeds, nor are they lagging behind they are in the middle.
Now,
there is also another different categorization that we can mention regarding the hearts. And so the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it is authentically attributed to them, that they divided the hearts into four categories, as is authentically reported from the data evenly and then rhodiola Wang, who said that the hearts are of four types, the first the heart that has solely been illuminated by a blazing torch, and that is the heart of the believer. The second is the heart that is in case it is encased in golf, and that is the heart of the disbeliever. The third is the heart that is inverted, it is inverted, and that is the heart of the hypocrite, he knew and then he
rejected, he saw only to become blind.
And the fourth is the heart that has two urges calling it an urge, calling it to a Nyan and an urge, calling it to hypocrisy it belongs to the need that predominates it. And so, this categorization is very similar to the categorization that we mentioned earlier of categorizing the hearts into three, the sound heart, the dead heart and the diseased heart. I asked Allah subhanahu wa taala to grant each and every single one of us which heart, the sound heart so that we come with this heart, on the Day of Judgment before Allah subhana wa tada so that we can benefit on the day in which nothing will benefit a person, not his wealth, nor his children, nor anything else. And so we conclude here for
this episode.
