that whatever Allah Subhana, who Allah has bestowed them, whatever they have, it is
a blessing from a loss of Hannah who attacked and so
they walk upon the earth in a modest way,
in a humble way. However, this does not mean
this does not mean that
they walk leisurely
or
in a slow manner.
Because we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from his Sunnah was to walk swiftly
to walk with firm quick steps.
And so this is the way to walk, not slowly, leisurely and not quickly, running rather, in a modest way,
and full of humility and humbleness.
And so in this connection, Allah subhanho wa Taala brings our attention to the first characteristic of a bad man the servants of man.
He brings our attention to the way that they move,
the way they carry themselves. And that is because
a person is known in the way he walks in the way he interacts in the way he moves.

And so even before a person gets to know you, he could tell you, he could tell a lot about you, just from the way you walk, just from the way you carry yourself, just from the way you move. And so, this verse, it basically means to imply that the servants of a rock man, they can easily be recognized, by the way they carry themselves, by the way, they move among people, their attitude of Allah's worship, and his obedience has changed themselves. And so they are changed
by the clock of a true believer. And so, it can be seen from first sight that these individuals,
they are noble, they are humble. They are good natured people. They are not arrogant. And so as a result, it is not expected that they would indulge in evil. Somebody who walks in a humble way. It's not unexpected
that this person he indulges himself in evil and the way of the wicked.

They address them. When the ignorant tend to foolish, talk to them in a harsh way. They reply back with Salam.
They reply back with mild words, with junk with gentleness.

And so Allah subhana wa, tada tells us, that when they are addressed with such people,
how do they respond? They don't respond in kind, they don't
respond, they don't reply and respond in vengeance in revenge. They don't try to get back at those who insulted them. Rather, they reply
with Salaam, with peaceful,
gentle words.
And so they don't want to fight back.
They don't want to respond in kind to the to these ignorant and foolish people.
And so the servants of Allah Subhana, who attended the true servants of a loss of Hannah who Adana, they don't get themselves drawn into fights, into into arguments that are useless.
They are those who have the best of manners. And so through such manners, they will be able to attract others, these foolish and ignorant people, they'll be able to attract them to the truth to the truth of the listener.

Why is it that these people are being mocked? Why is it that they are being ridiculed by these ignorant people? And yet these individuals are not responding in kind.
What's the reason?
What is this characteristic that these people have that caused them to do that?

And so in Surah facilite Allah subhanho wa Taala says, when a tester will have to witness a year, the good deed and the evil deed are not equal. They are not equal

if you reply with what is better,
it will become as if they are your closest friends.

they reply with gentleness, they reply
with what is better. And as we said, this is from among the greatest means that we can use to give Dawa.

We respond with gentle words.
We don't try to get them back. This will cause your hearts to become softened to the message of Islam. We move on to the next characteristic that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions.

it is the night Salam Alaikum.
And so if you want to pray any prayer that is most beloved to Allah subhana wa tada after having fulfilled the daily sauna, what, then get up in the middle of the night of the night, and especially in the last third of the night, when Allah subhana wa tada descends to the lower heavens, asking
who is out there who is calling upon him? Who is out there who is seeking my forgiveness so that I could answer him so that I could forgive him his sins. And I'll hassanal basri
he says that I have never found anything of a bad, more severe, more difficult than salaah in the middle of the night. So it was it was said to him, why is it that those who get up in the middle of the night to pray 200? Why is it that they are the ones with the most beautiful faces. And this is something you'll notice that those who actually get up. I'm not talking about in Ramadan, but outside of the month of Ramadan, those who set aside a part of their night to practically emulate, you will notice that they have a different face.
Their faces shine, their faces are bright. And so he was asked, why is this. And so he says it is because they secluded themselves with a man. They isolated themselves with a loss of Hannah, who were to Hannah. And so he clothed them

No, after Allah has mentioned that among their characteristics is that they get up in the middle of the night.

But yet,
even then, they don't think
that they have done everything. They don't think that they have done enough for Allah subhana wa Tada. And so right after that Allah subhana wa tada tells us that they are those who asked Allah Subhana who was the healer, to save them from the punishment of the Hellfire of punishment that they describe as being
inseparable from those who enter it. A punishment that they mentioned, is the most evil of abodes, the most evil of destinations, the most evil place to live and reside.
And so,
in spite of their worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala, in spite of their good deeds, in spite of the fact that Allah has praised them, in these verses, of having these characteristics, in spite of all of this,
they are filled
with fear of the punishment of the hellfire. And they ask Allah Subhana who would to Allah to prevent them from this punishment?
And so no one should think
that paradise and Jenna is guaranteed for them by their deeds alone.
And this is a common misconception that many have that the more deeds I do.
The more
guarantee I have that I will interject.
On the one hand, yes, this is true, but on the other hand, it is not only because of our deeds, that we are saved from the Hellfire, and we are guaranteed with gender No.
rather
more than that, it is because of a loss of bounty. Because Allah has chosen you to be saved from the Hellfire and to be guaranteed with gender.
And this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said
that no one shall enter Paradise. No one absolutely no one will enter
dies because of his deeds because of his deeds. So the Sahaba they heard the prophet SAW Selim saying this and so they asked, not even you Yasuda law.
And so he said yes. Not even me. unless Allah subhanahu wa tada bestows His mercy upon me.
And so we should always remember, no matter how close we are to Allah subhanho wa Taala
no matter how obedient we have become, no matter how many good deeds we may do, in the end of the day, if it was not for Allah's mercy, if it was not for laws, bounty, and blessing upon us,
we will not be saved from the punishment of the hellfire. And we would never enter agenda.
If it was not for Allah subhana wa tada choosing us and preferring us over others.
And so this is also very important when we give Dawa because a lot of Muslims they say to the Christians that
our salvation
is because of our deeds.
As all the Christians say, accept Jesus
as your Savior, and you will attain salvation from the Hellfire and live happy life.
So many Muslims they respond by saying no. In Islam
our salvation is due to work and action and deeds.
Yes,
in one way that is true. However, the proper way of responding is saying
that our Savior is Allah subhana wa tada
and Allah subhana wa tada saves us from the Hellfire
and admits us into Jenna, due to his bounty due to his mercy and due to him preferring us over others. We will we move on to the next characteristic that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions of very bad old man

nor are they stingy.
But rather they choose a moderate middle path between these two extremes.

in a moderate way, a middle way.

nor the other extreme of those who hold on to their wealth and don't spend
they're stingy even with themselves.
And so, the true servants of Allah subhana wa Tada. They know that whatever wealth they have, it is a blessing from Allah subhana wa tada and he Subhana who Allah gave it to them as a trust, whatever well we have, Allah Subhana who Allah has bestowed it upon us, as in a manner as a trust.
And so
the true servants of Allah subhana wa Tada. They spend this wealth that Allah has given to them as a trust as as a trust
in a way that is most pleasing to Allah subhana wa Tada.
And so if somebody gave you money as an Amana as a trust,
you would hold on to that.
And you wouldn't spend it. If he has given you permission to spend that money, then you would spend it in a wise manner.
You would spend it in a wise manner. So how about Allah subhana wa tada who has given us what he has given us out of his bed.
It is a trust in our hands.
How do we spend it?
Are we wise in the way we spend it? Are we extravagant, not caring about how we spend it?
Or are we the opposite not spending it, even though Allah subhanho wa Taala wants us to spend what he has given us. And so
the Muslim, his first priority is himself and his family. And so Allah subhana wa tada wants us to spend of our wealth upon ourselves and those who are under us.
And so we should not be stingy.
We should not be greedy in spending on our family members. However,
that doesn't mean that we become extravagant.
That doesn't mean that we let loose our money, not caring about where it goes, giving it to our children
without knowing where they're spending it. And so the true servants of Allah Subhana, who Adana they spend, what Allah subhana wa tada has given them in a modest way.
And according to what Islam teaches us extravagance basically means three things to spend, even the smallest amount that we have, but in unlawful ways
to spend,
what we have in unlawful ways in Iran,
whether it be through Riba
whether it be through through spending on harem items,
all of this comes under spending extravagantly. The second thing that extravagance means in Islam is to go beyond one's resources in expenditure, even if it be in healthcare.
And so some people they think, you know, I'm going to spend on my family, and
they need this and that, however,
I don't have enough.
But still I'm going to spend
or that I'm going to give to this cause and that cause and in the end, I'm left penniless.
This is not what Islam requires of us. Rather, what it requires of us is to be wise in the way we spend. And yes, Allah subhana wa tada wants us to give
in South Africa, and he wants us to give a lot.
But it doesn't mean that we give everything away until we're left with nothing. The third thing that it means is to spend in righteous ways to spend even in soccer, and to give our wealth in righteous causes, and in the way of a loss of handle with data however,
not with the correct intention

and so you worship Allah subhana wa tada not sincerely for Allah. Rather, you worship Allah subhanho wa Taala Anna, in order to show the people that you are worshipping Allah subhanho wa Taala the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that this is what he fears for us the most, not major ship, but rather this subtle,
minor form of shipping.
And so there was once a person he was praying in the masjid full of his shoe.
He was praying a perfect solo.
So two brothers, they enter
and they notice and they say Masha, oh, look at this brother.
Look at how perfect is Allah is
full of
praying, without any mistake.
Then he turns to them and he says, I'm fasting.
And so this is what you call a person of rehab.
This is what you call a person
who worships Allah subhana wa tada for the sake of showing off.
And so, the true a bad man, the true servants of a loss of Hannah, who were to Hannah are those who do not associate anything with a loss of Hannah who went ahead.
Even
their worldly desires,
even their worldly
dounia we pursuits, they don't allow their worldly desires to get in the way of worshipping Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so you find that at the time of Salah,
they leave everything of the dunya and come to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala they don't let anything to interfere in their worship of Allah subhana wa Tada. And so they don't let anything
whether it be gods, whether it be deities, or whether it be their desires, they don't have anything to be associated with a loss of Hannah, who, what

they are those who do not kill a life
which Allah has forbidden to be killed, except rightfully, except for a just cause. And so
they do not commit the crime of murder,

and it is not permissible
to kill someone to kill a life except
for a right cause. And so this refutes the allegation that Islam is the most violent religion
and that we kill people
wrongfully that we kill innocent people.

as being a major sin to take the life of a person wrongfully.

But who are they they are the enemy combatants, who he who he is actually fighting, and not innocent civilians. And thirdly, in self defense, Islam allows us that when someone tries to come and fight us, and try to kill us, we are allowed. Rather, it is obligatory upon us to fight back, even if it means to kill the one who is transgressing against us or our family members. We move on to the next characteristic that Allah mentions while is known,
nor do they commit Zina, nor do they commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And so they are those who only have such intimate relations with their wives and their spouses.
And so they preserve their honor and their dignity and restrain themselves from following their lustful desires.
