Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh you're listening to living Islam on radio and Sir, I'm your host a smile calm coming to you live from the Durban studio. And today we have a very interesting episode for you as we are continuing on our topic of the Beautiful Names of Allah subhanho wa Taala it is 20 minutes past nine and we will be going right until quarter past 10 with this beautiful episode part four on the series of the names of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Now for those of you who missed the previous episodes, what we are doing in the show is we are looking at the smart with the Beautiful Names of Allah, we are analyzing these names we are looking at what do they mean? What do
they teach us about our Creator? What should that mean in our relationship with Allah subhanho wa Taala? And how should that reflect in how we live our lives and how we live Islam. So we are looking at the names of Allah from a very practical manner. Many of us are familiar with the names of Allah in terms of memorizing them. But how many of us truly understand what each of these names mean? And how they should affect our relationship with our Creator. And the standard brothers and sisters. That in order to truly love someone, you have to know them and the means through which we know Allah. Therefore the means through which we increase in our love for Allah is through the smile
huzzah, it is through the name of Allah. And so over the past few weeks we discuss the name of Allah we discuss the name or Rahman r Rahim Allah Zack and with each of these names, our knowledge of Allah increase our love of Allah increase our practice of the religion increase inshallah. So we said Allah means the only one who deserves to be worshipped. And our man means the one whose Mercy is universal, whose mercy encompasses all of the creation. And we learned that the name of Rahim means the one who has mercy.
The one who has mercy, specifically upon the believers. And then last week, we spoke an entire episode about the name, our Razzaq, our Zach The one who provides for us sustenance. So today we are going to continue looking at the smell husana the beautiful name of Allah subhanho wa Taala and we are going to look at two names which are closely related to the name are Zack. Our Zach means Allah is the one who's always providing for us. Related to that, we are going to look at the name Allah hub, Allah hub, which can be translated as the one who is continuously giving gifts all the time, and we will discuss that in details later. And we are going to look at the beautiful name of Allah.
Allah Karim
Green, which means the most generous. And if we have time, we will look at the names, I'll haleem the most tolerant, and I'll, we'll do it the most loving. And all of the names are interconnected in their meanings. All of these names, show us the beautiful ways in which Allah subhanho wa Taala gives us different things in our lives. And so, this is the current theme that we are looking at.
We, as Muslims do not have any physical representation of our Creator. This is a,
a part of our religion that is unique to Islam, that our concept of the Creator is free from any anthropomorphism. We do not have a physical picture of our Creator. Rather, we know about our Creator, through his esteem, our support, through His names on these attributes. And it is through these names and attributes that we understand who he is and how he affects our lives and how we should be as well. So the first name that we are going to look at today is a very beautiful name. And it's a name that is often glossed over because unfortunately people have attributed
some of the some wrong connotation to this name. Right. And that is the name al Wahhab. Right, the name al Wahab. So what does our hub mean? Our hub comes from the root word Heba. What is HIPAA? HIPAA means a gift, even means a gift, what Hubei means to give a gift, what however, to give a gift. So, Allah Wahab means the one who is continuously, always constantly giving us gifts. This is the meaning of Allah, Allah hub, the one who at all times in ways that we see in ways that we don't see in ways that we understand the reason we don't understand, he is giving us gifts. Now the giving of gifts, is considered by people. A good characteristic.
It is considered a characteristic of generous people is considered a characteristic that increases love between people. In fact, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has told us to give gifts because it increases love. Therefore, when we understand the many ways in which Allah is giving us gifts, we should increase in our love of La subhanho wa Taala. And Allah subhanho wa Taala. He mentions this name, Allah hub, in the context of his treasures, in the context of his resources, allow us to have a handle with Allah in Surah. Assad, which is chapter 28, verse number nine, Allah Subhana Allah says, I'm in the home, Hosea in Madeira, Beagle. Azizi Wahab, right, I'm in the home.
He's talking about the disbelievers. He's saying, Do they have the keys? Or do they have the treasures of the mercy of your Lord Aziz, we will discuss al Aziz in a future episode. It means the most respected, the most high the most honorable al Wahab, the one who is giving gifts. Allah subhanho wa Taala. In this verse, he refers to himself as he's against Surah 38 verse number nine surah Assad but throughout the eight verse number nine, Allah refers to himself as a Wahab, the one who is continuously giving gifts. And he mentioned this name in the context of his causa in Ramadan, Arabic, the treasures of the mercy of your Lord. Right, the treasure of your mercy of of your Lord.
Now, when you study the Quran, no word in the Quran is mentioned randomly. There's always a relationship between the words that are used and the the relationship between the sentence and the name that appears in the sentence. So Allah says that he has treasures of mercy. He has treasures of mercy meaning would Allah they are forms of mercy, that we may not be able to understand the our mercies that he
called treasures that he gifts to us and this is why he uses the word our hub in the sentence he is continuously giving us gifts of mercy, those that we see those that we don't see whether we understand it or not. We are continuously receiving gifts from Allah.
What kind of gifts? What kind of gifts? Well first is the gift of
Life. Each and every one of us who are listening to this, we are alive.
Who gave you life? Who decided that molecule mode doesn't take you before this moment? Allah, Allah is continuously gifting you with life, for every second that you are existing in this world,
Allah is gifting You and I,
all the time, with heartbeats, from the time you are in your mother's womb, until you leave this world, your heart continues to beat, you have no control over it, you have no control over it whatsoever. When Allah decides for that, how to stop, it stops. But at every second of the day, Allah is gifting us, our hub is gifting us with heartbeats. This is a gift. If it wasn't there, we'd be dead.
He's gifting us with air to breathe, didn't ask us ask us to pay for air, then ask us to pay him for every heartbeat. These are things that he gives what is a gift to give to something for free, something you're given, don't expect anything in return. Allah is not saying for every heartbeat, you must worship me. Or for every breath of air, you as most of you know, he's just giving and giving and giving to all of those who worship Him and those who don't, those who obey Him and those who don't, he continues to give all of us the gift of breathing, the gift of, of loving the gift of intelligence for many people. But for us as believers, there is one gift that Allah has given us
that is greater than any other. And that is the gift of a man, the gift of having faith in the true religion. having faith in the correct beliefs. This is the greatest gift because truly none of us deserve it. None of us can say I'm so pious, I deserve to be guided. No, it's Allah who has gifted us with guidance. It is Allah who has gifted us.
With this guidance.
We need to take our first break now. When we return we'll continue talking about the meaning of our hub and what how to illustrate reflect in our lives. And then we're going to talk about how we too, should have this characteristic of giving gifts. So we're going to talk about all these things in the second segment of the show. Don't go away. We'll be right back. after this break your station my station on station radio.

At the end of the day,
Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh you listening to living Islam on radio and Sir,
I'm your host smile conda and we are talking about the Beautiful Names of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Specifically today we are talking about the name Wahab, the one who continuously gives gifts, Allah subhanho wa Taala is giving us gifts every second of every day to all of creation. He's gifting us with heartbeats with air to breathe, with water, with food, which shelter was he man with knowledge, with abilities to work, he's giving us so much. And sometimes we don't appreciate the gifts until they're taken away.
Know the gift of health how many of us truly thank Allah for our health until it's too late, and it's gone. How many of us think all of our free time
it is a Hadees in which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stated
that they are to blessings or bounties or gifts from Allah, that people take for granted that people don't really appreciate. And those two good health and free time for doing good deeds, good health and free time for doing good deeds, how many of us actually use our free time to do good deeds, how many of us actually, thank Allah for that free time when we first actually realize that is a gift from Allah.
It's the same with good health. This is a gift if you have it. It's a good healthy, many people who don't have it, the many people who had it, and it was taken away. every second of our lives with good health is a gift from Allah, one, that we must be appreciative to him for. Now. This knowledge of Allah being our hub for lobbying to give off gifts. what it should do for us is that it should make us appreciate a lot more. It should increase us in sugar, in gratitude. And the beauty of this is that if your gratitude to Allah increases, the gifts you receive from Allah increase as well.
Well in Shackleton as Eden,
if you are truly grateful, I will definitely give you more. This is the promise of Allah in the Quran. If you are grateful, I will definitely give you more. So this becomes a cycle of growth,
a growth full of Baraka.
All it takes to start the cycle of growth is to recognize the gifts that Allah has given you right now. He's given you money. He's given you business. He's given you good health is given you family. He's given you this Dean has given you knowledge has given you the ability to pray, he's given you so many gifts. thank him for all of that. You will start thanking Allah for what we have is a gifting of what we don't have yet.
That's where it starts. You see many of us have it wrong. Many of us think that we need to complain about what we don't have to get it. But it's not complaining that gives you access to the keys to the treasure of Allah. It is thanking Allah, they give you access to these keys. It is tempting, a lot unlocks the doors of his treasure.
So if you want something, start by thanking Allah for what you already have. That's where it begins. If you want to get married, start by thanking Allah already giving you what you have for making you a good Muslim, for giving you a good family for giving you money, whatever it is, thank you for what you already have. And then ask him for what you don't have.
Because Allah says if you are thankful, I will give you more
from amongst the gifts of Allah,
in our lives, our families. In fact, Allah uses this word to describe the family in the Quran in a dua, in a duel the Allah commands us to make, or he tells us the righteous believers make he uses
Very word of giving a gift to describe the family. What is the Diwan surah Furqan? Allah describes the qualities of abajo man the true worshipers of man. One of those qualities is that every day they make the dua or a banner hub, Lana, again robina hub Lana, me as well Gina was Julia Tina kurata Argan Oh Allah hub Lana what is hub is from the same word what However, what hub hub, it's all the same Arabic root word hub Lana, give us as a gift. Such spouses and children that are the coolness of our eyes.
This is the door that we are taught to make in the Quran. Give us as a gift, good spouses and good children.
Meaning what, what does this verse tell us why Allah use the word how but not any other verb to tell us if you have a good spouse, that is a gift from Allah. If you have good children, that is a gift from Allah, everything you have is a gift from Allah.
And so when we ask Allah, we use the word hub, we use the word give us as a gift because we are not deserving but Allah, He is so generous, he is so merciful, that He gives and gives whether we deserving of it or not. And the more grateful we are, the more he gives us to from the gifts of Allah, our families, from the gifts of Allah is this Deen from the gifts of Allah
is whatever good we have in this dunya. Now all of it is a gift from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So will you not be temple? Will you not be thankful to Allah for what he has given you let us change the way we look at this world, let us stop looking at things from a perspective of what we don't have. Let's start looking at what we do. And being thankful for that. Because that's where abundance comes from. That's where increase comes from. That's where Baraka comes from. It comes from looking at what you do have, right? Yes, that glass maybe half empty, but it's also half full. And that's what we've got a look at.
The final thing to look at when it comes to the name of our hub
is how
do we
how do we show this in our lives? How do we
emulate this name in our daily life? You see, when we look at the names of Allah, we also have to look at how can we have these qualities on a human level of course, we cannot have these qualities on the same level. Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah is most merciful. We can't be most merciful, but we can be merciful. Allah is all knowing. We can't be all knowing, but we can know something. Right? Allah is most wise, we can't be all wise, but we can gain wisdom. Likewise, Allah is our hub, the one who is continuously gifting all of creation with gifts every second of the day. We can't do that. But in our human capacity, we can give gifts. And so in the beautiful hedis found in the in
Sahih Muslim, the prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stated, give gifts, because it increases the love between people. give gifts because it increases the love between people.
That's what you got to do.
Now, Allah is giving you so much gifts, what are you giving to others? Start with your family. When was the last time you bought a gift for your spouse? When is the last time you bought a gift for your parents. When is the last time you bought a gift for your children? start giving, start giving and you'll see the mohabbat code you'll see the love growing love increases through gifts.
And this is in any relationship with your friends with your family, whether it's with the community. Giving of gifts, is the way to build relationships in Islam. And just as Allah is always giving us gifts, we should not feel shy to give each other gifts.
In the marital relationship, this is so important.
It is so important to show your gratitude to your spouse by buying gifts for them. Even if it's something small, even if it's one flower, even if it's one chocolate, just the fact that you thought about them while you were out. That thought and the fact that you brought some people there. It creates marhaba increases love
this is
the beauty of Islam. And this is what Islam wants from us. Our creator is the one who's continuously giving gifts let us to be from those who give gifts.
We need to take our second break now. When we return we will move on to the next name of allah which relates to the giving of gifts and that is the name of Allah Karim. The most generous Don't go away we'll be right

Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh you listening to living Islam on radio and Sir, I'm your host the smile Condor coming to you live from the Durban studio. We have about half an hour left on today's program. In the first half of today's episode, we are discussing the beautiful name of Allah subhanho wa Taala Wahab The one who continuously gives gifts Allah subhanho wa Taala is giving us gifts at all times of the day. whether we realize it or not. Our heartbeats are gifts our air that we breathe is gifts. The water that we drink is a gift. The very life that we have in our bodies is a gift our souls are a gift. Our sight is a gift. Our yearning is a gift our our senses whenever we
have a gift from Allah. And even when you make dua, we are encouraged to make dua with the same word hub learner gives us as a gift. Right? This is how Allah teaches us to make dua in the Quran, that we ask Allah for gifts because he is a Wahab He is the one who continuously gives gifts. Why does Allah continuously give gifts? That takes us to the next name. The next Name of Allah that we want to discuss is Al Karim, which is often translated as the most generous. Allah is the one who is continuously giving us gifts, because he is the one who is most generous. Now in reality, the name al Karim is perhaps one of the names of Allah with the most meanings because this word Kareem means
so many different things. There's no one translation for the word, Kareem. No, we use the translation generous. In reality it means so much more. There.
Word Karim comes from the word karma. Karma means honor. It means nobility. It means virtue. It means every kind of goodness. It means
generosity. It's it's actually far more expensive than just generosity. It's it's, it's a much deeper concept. Allah uses the word Karim to describe the Quran itself, as he called the Quran, Allah Kareem. Right? And kita boo Karim is a honorable book. It's a noble book. It's a generous book, but not generous in the sense of the of the human sense, but generous in the sense that this book just keeps giving you more and more wisdom and knowledge. The more you read it, you can read the same verse over and over again and you just keep getting more out of it. That's that's the how Kareem how noble this book is.
And so, this word Kareem is found as a description as an adjective, for all things that are noble. And it is taken as a name of Allah when it is in the definite form when it is Al Karim. Allah Karim is the name of Allah. And this name.
It stands for much more than just generosity. emammal ghazali Rahim Allah is a very beautiful explanation of this name. On Imam Al ghazali. states that Allah Karim number one, it means the one
who forgives
The one who forgives. Right? Number two, it means the one who fulfills his promises.
Number three, it means the one who gives you beyond what you imagined and hoped.
And number four, it means the one who doesn't, who doesn't really care about how much he gives, he just gives doesn't count. He doesn't keep a scorecard of how much he gives, he just gives, you know, when we talk about the word Kareem, in a human sense, and this was understanding on a human level, then, you know, multiplayer to understand what it means for Allah, the word Guardian when we describe a human being as Kareem. What we mean is that this person, he is forgiving, even though he has the power to take revenge. That's that's one meaning of curry. Right? When you had the power to do something, but you forgive anyway, that's honor, that's nobility. That's generosity. That's
being Kareem. As calm.
In one sense, the second sense of being Kareem, is
when you make a promise, you always follow through with it. So someone who's always fulfilling his promises. That person is described as Kareem. He's an honorable person. He's a person who, who sticks to his word. Yeah. So another translation be someone who's principled as someone who's principled would be Kareem.
Kareem would be used to describe a person who he just gives charity. You know, he just gives gifts and charity and, and he gives to others. And he has no idea how much is given. You know, no, the common metaphor in Arabic is that his left hand doesn't know what his right hand gave. What it actually means is he himself doesn't know how much is given in travel. He doesn't keep a scorecard of it. You know, you get you get those people who know you I give that person 20 rounds, I give that person five grand, I give that person to Iran, and he owes me for life because I gave him to run. That's not been Kareem. I mean, that that's, that's giving sadaqa that that's giving charity, but
that's not being caring being Kareem is you just, you don't really care who you've given how much you given you just giving because you know, it's the right thing to do. I
so this is Corinne when it describes a person. Now, magnify that with understanding.
Allah subhanho wa Taala it, Allah Subhana Allah is the one who forgives us every day. Whenever we praise Allah, He forgives us. Whenever we make we do, he forgives us. When you go for O'Meara, he forgives you. When you go for him. He forgives you when you pass on the day of RFR on the day, on the day of assura He forgives you. When you give charity He forgives you when you see a selfie like he forgives you. It's just forgiving us all the time. And Allah has the ability to punish us right here right now forever since we've done today. But he continues to forgive us. This is this is what's meant by Al Karim. When it comes to describing Allah, He is so generous that he just keeps
forgiving a lot of handleless in the Hadees that even if your mountains you know even if your sins to be equal to the mountains, allow us to forgive you asking for forgiveness. So this is the kurama terraces, the
nobility and the honor of Allah Karim of the most honorable, the most generous.
Allah Subhana Allah is the one who always fulfills his promise
to say something you have to have firm belief in. If Allah has promised something in the Quran, he will fulfill it. And we see this in our lives over and over again. He fully
fullness of the promise of Allah Allah has promised that with difficulties in Allah has promised that whoever has taqwa of Allah Allah will make for him a way out and provide for him for me he did not imagine Allah has promised that he will forgive the the righteous and integrate me to paradise. Allah has made promises Allah always keeps his promises. This is part of being al Karim, in that Allah never breaks a promise. Allah never breaks a promise. This is what makes him out Kareem.
The next part of a loving allegory
is that Allah subhana wa Taala gives us every day more than we can imagine. And alert does not keep a scorecard of what he's given us. He doesn't write down every heartbeat that he's given us. Every bit of air that he's given us, every drop of water He's given us. And he's not going to ask us for all of that. Okay, what you're giving me back in return? No, I was just giving, and he's giving and he's giving all the time we discussed earlier. He's our hub, the one who's constantly giving, but he's also al Karim, the one who gives without really concern of how much he's giving into who is giving he just gives because that's who Allah is. Allah is generous. And he is generosity on a level
that humans can't imagine and and perceive he is the ultimate
generous
he's the most generous as it gets. in accounting you find English words to describe how generous Allah is that that's, that's a lie is beyond human description. Sometimes, the English language just doesn't have the words to truly convey what you're trying to say about our how amazing our Creator is. We talk about loving, generous, I can't think of a Exact English phrase that is befitting of the generosity of Al Karim, about beautiful creator, the most generous Allah subhanho wa Taala.
So how is Allah honor this? And how does this go to your karma? this honor coming to our lives?
Allah told us in the Quran laqad kurama, Bonnie Adam, we have given honor to the descendants of Adam, by providing for them of all good things, and preferring them over much of what we have created. To Allah says he has honored us. Firstly, he's taking orders, he has honored every human being. This means that humans have honor and dignity not just Muslims, but but humans. And based on this verse, are we not allowed to harm people, regardless of where they're from, or what their background we are the nation that doesn't harm. We are the nation that guides that brings people towards the right part, not the nation of harm, right. So Allah has honored the children of Adam.
And he has preferred them over much of what he has created. So part of Allah's honor, is that he has given a higher status to human beings over much of his creation. If Allah wanted, he could have created and he can, he has the ability to create things that would dominate this earth, and they could enslave the entire human race, and there will be nothing we can do about it. But Allah has honored us over much of his creation, he has made the human being the dominant animal on this earth, He has given the human beings the abilities to be the ruling
creature on this planet. Allah has honored us over much of his creation, and he has given us honor over the other creatures, and he has provided for us this is part of how Allah has honored us and how generous he has provided for us at all times of good things. So Allah uses the word kurama ovia, we have given honor, and we have been generous, right? We are we're referring to Allah individually, we have been generous and giving honor to the human race, by giving them good things. And by giving them a higher status that much of the creation. So Allah has given us this honor, and even shaytan has recognized even shaytan has recognized the algorithm has given some honor, and he's generous to
the human race. When shaytan refused to bow to Adam.
He said that this is the one kurumba that you have given honor to more than me that you have given more to me. She done, he believes was jealous of Adam, because of what Allah has bestowed upon Adam. And so he used the same word to describe a la carte rungta you have shown more on and generosity to him.
So this means the human race, the generosity Allah given us even she recognizes it.
Do we recognize it? Do we recognize the generosity and honor that Allah has bestowed us with?
We can look at a few examples. I mean, look at our acts of worship Allah
created us to worship Him.
Despite that, Allah rewards us for worshiping. And He grants us more than we can imagine if you worship Him. Now,
think about even when human beings make things,
we don't normally reward what we make for doing its job. I mean, if you have a pencil and the pencil writes, we just gonna write to you, you're gonna say, Good job pencil you wrote, let me give you something, because it's there to write. Allah created us to worship him.
But when we worship Him, He gives us more. This is the generosity he doesn't have to give us we doing what we were made to do, but he just gives us more and more and more, because he is so generous, that the more you worship Allah, the more gifts he gives you. Whether it's spiritual gifts or material gifts, gifts in this world or gifts in the next world. All of it is a gift from Allah, and everyone is gifted in different ways. But Allah continues to give us in all of these different ways.
We see the gift of Allah in food. If Allah wanted food could be something that we just mantra with no taste. But Allah has made food such that there are so many different delicious tastes out there. The ability to taste is a gift from Allah
and the different tastes that he has exposed us to a gift from Allah. And this is a pleasure that Allah wants us to experience and that itself is a gift from Allah. Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wa Barakatuh you listening to loving Islam Rachel and sir I'm your host smile calm. And we are coming to the end of today's episode we only have about 13 minutes left for today. And if you are enjoying this beautiful series on the Beautiful Names of Allah subhana wa tada as much as I am, you know, we wanted to go on much longer to handle this really so much to say on this topic. It's really one of my personal favorite topics to discuss because the more we know about Allah The more we level up and the more we appreciate what he does for us the more we want to worship Him and the better people we want to be Allah subhana wa tada descriptions that he's
attributes are the most perfect and noble of attributes. And you're really you know the, the role model of what type of attributes we should be aspiring towards. So today we discuss two of the Beautiful Names of Allah, Allah haben Allah Karim
Allah hub
means the one who is continuously giving gifts. Allah subhanho wa Taala at every day of our lives all the time, he's giving us gifts.
Do we appreciate these gifts of Allah?
Do we recognize these gifts of Allah? Do we realize how much we have in our lives to be grateful for? Do we understand that
gratitude is the beginning of abundance. Gratitude is the beginning of increase. That's where it starts. Allah
is the one who gives us gifts all the time.
The second name that we discussed of Allah subhanho wa Taala is Al Karim
and algoryn. There are many different translations for it is a very wide verb. Karma is a very wide verb in Arabic means many different things.
The two most common translations for this name is the most generous and the most honorable. And both of these apply to us. He is the most honorable, he's the most generous. Allah is the one, our hub who continuously gives us gifts, because he is our Karim, the one who is most generous, more generous in any creation can be generous people give a lot of gifts. But there is nothing in this universe that can compare to the number of gifts that Allah gives it every second of the day. And there's nothing in this universe that can compare to the generosity of our Creator in our lives. So knowing that Allah is our
house, should this affect our lives? It's a very important question. How should this affect our lives? Number one, it should make us recognize the generosity of Allah in our lives.
It should make us recognize the generosity of Allah in our lives. How many times Allah forgiven us, when we are not worthy of forgiveness?
How many times has Allah given us? Chances are when we kept on falling back into sin?
How many times in our lives has Allah gifted us with wealth, with properties with good things? When we know at that point in time, we're not worthy of it at all.
A lot of generosity is beyond our imagination. So will we not be thankful?
To the first thing we can do? When we realize that Allah is Allah Karim, the most generous is that we should recognize the generosity of Allah in how he forgives us in how he gives us chances in how he takes care of us and how he continues to provide for us despite all of our sins. This is number one.
Number two,
knowing that Allah is algorithm, and he is most generous, and recognizing his generosity in our lives, should increase our sugar, our gratitude, to just like our hub, knowing that Allah is the one continuously giving gifts should make us more grateful. Knowing that Allah is Allah Karim should also make us more grateful.
The third way in which this name should affect our lives, is Allah is Allah Karim the most honorable and he has stated that he has given honor to the human race.
Allah has given us honor.
So we must live a life of honor.
Do not degrade yourself. Do not do faulty actions. Do not live in immoral life. Do not become an embarrassment to humanity. Allah has given honor to the human race. But we have dishonored ourselves. We have dishonored ourselves. Every human being is capable of loving, loving and honorable and noble life. Every human being is capable of, of being a dignified individual.
But we live in a time when so many people have debased themselves. So many people have dishonored themselves. So many people that have no dignity, no shame, no morality.
When you understand that your Creator is the most honorable
then you as his creation, who he has stated in the Quran that He has given honor to you must live a life of funnel. You must live a life of honor. How do you live a life of honor? Number one, have good manners. Be a person who is well mannered a person who is polite. A person who is respectful, a person who carries himself or herself with dignity. Be a person of good character.
This is how you honor yourself and your religion.
This is how you portray honor in society. Number two, be a chaste and morally sound individual. I know we are living in a place in time where moral decadence is all around us. And it's so easy to fall for temptation. It's so easy to fall into the immorality. Don't do it. Be an honorable individual. Keep yourself chaste. Keep yourself pure. Keep yourself away from this evil. And if you fall into it by mistake, make a stick part and try again. Try again. But Allah, he's so generous, you keep forgiving you, you keep trying again.
So it is
part of believing that Allah is most honorable, that we ourselves live lives of honor and dignity.
The fourth and final way
in which we can change our lives after understanding that Allah is Allah Karim.
Knowing that Allah is most generous, is that we become generous.
Our creator is most generous to us.
Everything that you have, Allah has given you.
So will you not be generous to his creation? Will you not give to others. And there's a cycle that Allah has created, the more you give, the more you get. The more you give, the more you get. Allies so generous that when he sees generosity from you, he becomes even more generous to you. The more Allah sees you giving with good intention, the more he gives you. And this is a cycle of upward cycle of increase and increase an increase in Baraka. Because this is how generous your Creator is.
So where
is our generosity?
Really, there's no life there's no room in the life of the believer
for miserliness for stinginess, these are not at the dealer attributes of a Muslim the other attributes of the believer know, the believer is generous.
The believer gives an expects nothing in return. The believer gives as much as he or she possibly can, to be evil gives them the enemy forgot who they gave you, because you're not keeping score. You're holding it against the person not telling the button I gave you You owe me for life. No, the believer gives and gives and gives or continues to give. And Allah algorithm continues to give that believe and continues to give and give more to that believer. And that cycle grows. You know, if you want to know how to save an economy, how to save a society,
when you become a society of givers, that builds a stable economy in the early years of Islam, when the Muslims were Korean, when the Muslims were generous,
you would have to look very far to find the single poor person who was able to collect the cup who was worthy of receiving the cup, because everybody had a lot. Why did everybody have a lot because everybody was Kareem, because everybody was generous. This is the result of a society that is generous and honorable.
Everyone increases, we as Muslims, we do not believe in the scarcity, factor of risk of sustenance. We do not believe that, you know, if you get something that has nothing left for me, no, we believe the resources of Allah unlimited. He can give you everything and he can give me everything he could give everyone everything. So I will continue to give him our continue to help and I will continue to be generous with Allah, his treasures are endless. His treasures are endless. So believe us, be people of generosity be people of honor, be people of dignity, the people of forgiveness, the people
who others look up to, in the early years of Islam,
in many places, Muslims did not have to actively do dour. Now listen carefully to this point. In the early years of Islam, in many different countries, Muslims did not have to actively do that. They did not have to deliver lectures about Islam. They did not have to have public debates about Islam. They did not have to study comparative religion, their dignity, they honor their generosity, their manners was did our people would look at the honor and dignity of the Muslims and they would want to become Muslim. People would look at the manners of the Muslims and they would want to become Muslims. People would look at the generosity of the Muslims and they would want to become Muslims.
Today, do you know why we need to do so much power? Because people see our lack of dignity. And they say I don't want to be like those people. They see our lack of manners and they say I don't want to be like those people. They see how miserly we can be and they say I don't want to be like those people. So we have to talk the talk because we know walking the walk. I guarantee you we become a nation that
Truly practicing this religion that truly follows these aspects of our religion, we will not need to talk about Islam, people will see Islam and people will be attracted to Islam just by living near us just by interacting with us. Just by being within our circles, I will visit existence would become our
that's how it was for the early Muslims. People became Muslim because of what they saw, not because of debates.
When you become a person of honor, when you become a person of management, you become a person of dignity, you become a form of power, your existence becomes a means of attracting people towards this religion.
So my president says as we come towards the end of today's episode, and we have about one minute left on the clock, reminder to you and I
allows names and attributes
beyond
what we can imagine,
and we can only talk this much about we only have limited time, but really, each of these names and attributes are worthy of hours upon hours of study.
