Salam aleikum. This is Holly banana. And today I want to share a tip with you that will help you to take action. You know, many people write in and they ask me, What can I do I lack motivation. Many of my clients tell me, I don't feel like going to the gym, I don't feel like taking care of the kids or keeping up with the house, or making that business proposal. And it is very essential to see that when decisions are being made, they've actually done research on this, it really has to do not on the fact of what is beneficial and what is needed. Many people base their decision on whether they feel like it or not. And many times we don't feel like doing the things that we need to do. Now,
what is the role of a parent, a role of a parent is to get their child to do the things they don't feel like doing right? As a parent, I have to make sure my child takes a shower. As a parent, I have to make sure that my child goes to school as a parent, I need to make sure that my child eats healthy and doesn't watch too much television. So that is the role of a parent. And that's why it's so essential. Because if you leave it up to the kids, and if they do as they feel, they're going to stay in bed, eat junk, and play on their PlayStation or watch television. So when you finally move out, when you're finally on your own, no one tells you that you need to parent yourself because no
one is coming. No one is going to come and tell you, okay, it's time it's time for you to turn off on television and go to sleep. It's time for you to go to the gym, it's time for you to do your laundry, no one is coming. No one is going to tell you what you need to do. So you have to take on that responsibility. And parent yourself. Parenting yourself means you get yourself to do the things you don't feel like doing. You may not feel like doing the things around the house, you may not feel like disciplining your kids, you may not feel like responding to all those emails or writing a business proposal. But guess what, when you pair it yourself, you push yourself to do the things you
don't feel like doing. And that is the only way the only way that you can succeed and achieve your goals. Because if we wait for that feeling, we're never going to take action. So I encourage you to parent yourself on a day to day basis. Push yourself to do the things that are good for you and you may not feel like it because that's how you become a responsible adult.
