We're starting in sha Allah tala on time, just a minute or so off. And we have a lot to get through today in sha Allah Tada. So, we're going to do this as efficiently as possible.
We begin today with sorta to Nikita where Allah subhana wa tada in this sort out, which is the fifth surah of the Quran. And tonight is which night of taraweeh who can tell us
fifth night as well. Right. So the fifth night of taraweeh sort of to me that from what I'm aware of the Imam recited last night began it I mean, I wasn't here for Tara we hadn't discussed it. But he began the beginning of sort of matter. And we concluded our Tafseer yesterday at the end of sort of tuning the set and we'll continue today was last night on Shark Tank. We said SWAT to murder What is the name of this sorta in English? What does it mean not a death? Yeah, like a table spread right or you know, the tablecloth, the spread where the food is, and we'll see how Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about food talks about the foods of different people and talks about any side and his son him
and his disciples and during that time when they requested food from Allah subhana wa Tada. So love begins in the soil not

tchi Allah subhanho wa Taala begins this surah with verse number one in to explaining halal and haram in terms of the animals, different types of animals and what is halal, what is how long for us, and he also mentions hunting in Iran as you'll see in the next verse, when someone goes for Hajj or someone goes for Ramadan, they're wearing their harem what is allowed to hunt for and what isn't and you should not be hunting or harming any sort of animals except for as we'll see later in the suit Allah subhana wa tanunda mentions that the slavery if you want to fish now I don't know where you're going to find water and fish in the middle of you know the desert of Mecca but for those that
are coming from different areas maybe around the unborn coming around the the the coastline of the Red Sea and they fish and you know catch the fish they can use that as food while they're traveling in head on so unless of how to what to add in this world our focus is on different types of foods what is permissible, what's not permissible not only from food, but what is not permissible or permissible in terms of consuming as in gambling, for example, is that permissible or not and we'll see that very shortly. inshallah.
In verse number three, Allah subhanho wa Taala Hana, he highlights a important part of this verse that most people know where he says a neoma commanded to laocoon Deen Akuma at mem to morality equanimity or ugly tuna como Islam. Medina. When was this verse revealed? Or this part of the verse?
The last Hajj, which was the first Hajj of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam How many times did he go for Hajj? Once right, Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam only managed to go for Hajj once in his lifetime. And that was literally right before he passed away right in the last year of his life. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us a beautiful example there that you know many of us tried to go for Hajj and multiple amounts of times when we should try and help others that have not gone if we have the ability in terms of wealth, and we can help someone else go for Hajj, we should try and do that as well especially or you know only really if we've gone once before, right so we shouldn't
be so greedy and tried to go every single year if you want to go for ombre, that's a different story. You can go you know a number of times and it's okay to go multiple times for Hajj as well. But as we can see, the restrictions have been
You know, tightened a lot more because the amount of people in this ummah, which is a blessing from Allah subhanho wa Taala has increased. So they only allow us to go now what once every four years or I think it's five years now, right once every five years, you can go for Hajj. So Allah subhanho wa Taala. Here, he reveals in this verse and this is a part of the verse that was, that was mentioned by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam during his football tournament that during his farewell football when he was standing at the alpha, and he was, you know, addressing the Muslim in during his last and first Hajj that he performed. And so he says, a neoma committed to the codina come to
LA come near Mati, what are the two electromech Islam Medina and here Allah subhanho wa Taala is showing us that the deen in itself was completed at this point in time, but that doesn't mean that versus, you know, sees to come from this point in time. All right. So what's important for us to understand from this verse, and many people don't understand it because they've never really been explained it in a simplified way. Is that Allah subhanho wa Taala here is saying, I have completed your deen upon you in terms of the Shetty aspect, the fic aspect, right? That you know what every aspect of the deen has been covered. And now the last and final part was hedge the hedge of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam right and so he completed Hajj and performed hygiene showed us how to perform Hajj through obviously the observation of the some of the Sahaba on the Alomar on home, and then also how to what to add it continued to reveal verses after that. Who knows what was the last verse that many of the companions and statements of the scholars claimed to be the last verse that was revealed from the Quran?
What's the verse?
Elijah, Allahu Allah. Okay, this is an opinion but not not
commonly, you know, quoted by the scholars, who knows, does anyone know this his homework inshallah for tomorrow, okay, homework. You don't remember it. You will know it very easily. You can find it if you Google it as well. And I don't like to use Google as as a as a, you know, resource.
Committed to electron Deena Comm. This is the verse that we're talking about now. But this is not the last verse that was revealed. This is where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is telling the companions I've completed this Shetty upon you.
And Allah subhana wa tada obviously, is a really this verse of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that our shediac is completed because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had not performed Hajj before that, right, this was the only time that he performed Hajj. So the companions that are the lower anahim are not shown in an example from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam how to do that, but here in this instance, he showed them and completed the Shetty out upon them. Right.
There are there are different opinions. Yes. And one of them is as the brother said, he got a job in a school of law he went. But there is one verse in particular that stands out more than any other verse of the Quran. And this is the one that I want you to bring to me tomorrow. And
it's an important verse and I think I used it in my last clip, but not not last week, but the last month. Then in verse number five, Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on.
And he talks about the food from the people of the book, right? Leon comapany Berto, baramulla, Dena, kita berhane Allah.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala here says that the food of the People of the Book is halal for you just like your food is highlighted for the people of the book. Now, this causes confusion in a lot of people's minds, right? Are we allowed to eat food from the Christians and from the Jews? Yes, we are allowed to eat their foods. Should we prefer it? Well, if we have halal food, food that is slaughtered by Muslims, especially if it's hand slaughtered and provided from Muslims to the Muslims, then why would you opt for anything else? Like personally, you just feel more comfortable when you're taking your food from a Muslim, right? Someone that you can trust someone that you know
has has done this according to the ways that is most beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala. But that doesn't mean that the food of the Jewish meaning the kosher food, as well as the food of the Christians is not highlighted for us. And here specifically, we're talking about meat, right food as in what was slaughtered to eat, and not necessarily food once it's been cooked, because the Jewish will add alcohol to their food as well, just like the Christian will add alcohol to some of their foods. So that doesn't mean that
That all of their food, we can simply go and eat now and it's a blanket statement, go and eat it, take it, it's fine. You still need to look at the ingredients that are within that food, right? But generally speaking their food as in the animals that they slaughter, that is helpful for us to eat from the animals that we are allowed to eat. So a Christian might slaughter a pig, and then serve it to you. Does that make it *? No, it doesn't, because it's how long for you to consume pig. But if a Christian slaughters a cow, or a chicken and gives it to you to eat, then you can eat it. But again, is it something you feel comfortable eating? know most of us will say no, right? We don't
feel comfortable eating it. But is it halal? Yes, it is Hannah. Yes, it is Helen. Okay. So this is a very sensitive topic for many of us. And I know it's sensitive for a number of reasons. Personally, I mean, I'm half Pakistani. So I know, you know, we're very picky with our foods, right? We have to have the right food and the right flavor for the food as well. But then somehow you look at how the Christians and the Jews were at the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And many people think, Oh, you know what, now our Deen has been
our Deen has not been changed, sorry. But the Dean of the Christians and the Jews, they've changed it so much. Like you have the New Testament. And the next year, there's another New Testament and there's different versions of the Bible. And we know that that the Christians as well as the Jews, they would change the wording of their scripture and try to hide some of it sometimes the Jewish were very famous for that, as we'll see, as Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about it in verses 40 to 50. And so that was something that we know is done our time. But it was also done at the time of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. That's one thing. Then people say, Okay, wait a second. But the
Christians today they're emotionally keen, they believe in the in the Trinity, right? Which they're, you're putting Jesus, he saw his Salah, they're putting him at the same rank as a Muslim how to hold to Anna as the level of a god or the God, right. And so a lot of people will think this is something modern, that's being done now. But in reality, it's not something that's only being done now. Because when the Quran was revealed, Allah subhanho wa Taala says that they would render Jesus Isa alayhis salam as their Lord and He even questions he sallallahu Sallam as we see in this surah insalata Merida, he asks, rissalah his Salah, what it is, what is it that you taught the people?
What did you teach the people? Did you teach them to worship you? Did you ask them to pray to you? Did you ask the people to worship you? And as Anna has Sam says, No, I only call them towards the oneness of you. the oneness of Allah subhanho wa Taala, right. And so, at the end of the day, the food of the People of the Book is halaal to consume. But again, it's not something that we feel comfortable consuming, because we have had food. And honestly, when we look at someone who we would trust more with preparing our foods, we definitely would trust the muslimeen more than we trust anybody else. Right? So
that's with regards to food. I know it's sometimes hard to swallow. When we hear this it's hard to swallow is in the information is hard to accept. But at the same time Allah subhanho wa Taala is the one telling us this so it's not any you know, it's not our place to debate it. This is what Allah subhana wa tada has permitted. Right? And so if you're ever in a position where you absolutely need to consume the food of the people who have a book and you don't have, you know, halal meat present, then it's something that you should not feel guilty about. Don't think that you're sinning, you're doing something that is still had Allah upon you. It's still handled for you. So don't think that
you're sending in that case, in verse number six Allah subhanho wa Taala he orders us to perform otaku. Yeah. Yo Han Latina.

That's the bare minimum that you must do in performing your job. And obviously you have the Sun Tzu which is the son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam which is to perform these actions three times right the typical will though that we know of, so Allah subhana wa tada here he
orders us to make
in verse number 27 to 31 Now we jump a little bit because those verses are referring to Allah subhanho wa Taala there's some verses pertaining to Messiah has sent them and communication and then Allah subhana wa Johanna goes on in verse number 27 to 31 and he talks about the story of how veal and kabhi

la mina al Motoki and so I'll also kind of want to Anna here is telling the profits on a longer either he will send them to relate to us the story of the children of Adam, Allah has sent a bill in corbeil or called the Elan hubby and as we know Cain and Abel, right. And in this story to go through it very quickly in sha Allah hota Hannah,
who was the good brother and who was the one that was mischievous.
The good one is horrible. And the one that was a little bit mischievous was called the ill Okay, so hubby is the one that with his sister, so as the children of Adam alayhis, salaam were born, they were always born in sets of two they were always born in twins, right? They were born twins, and Adam alayhis salaam. And However, when they had children, not only were they twins, but they were boy and girl, so they were never two boys or two girls. It was always a boy and a girl. Twins, right. And so when the twins were born, and it reached have been amicable and they were born and they grew older, hubby was in love with sorry, called Dean was in love with his own sister. Now we
know at the time of Adam and his Salah, there were no other people to marry. So the Sunnah of Allah subhanho wa Taala in our creation was that the oldest two would marry the younger two. So the older twins would marry the younger twins, the boy of the older set would marry the girl of the younger, right, and the girl of the older would marry the boy of the younger. So let's just say the first two children of Adam and Howard were a boy and girl twins. Then they had two more children, right? A boy and a girl. When they grew older, the boy of the first set married the girl of the second set, and the girl of the first set, marry the boy of the second set. Makes sense. Okay, good. hamdulillah. So
as they grew older called vielen, haberl. They were at that stage that point in time where they're supposed to get married, right? And obviously, they're marrying their brother and sister but there's no one else to marry. This was how our being came around. This is how we became who we are. Right? They were our great, great, great, great, great, great grandparents. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala placed it in the heart of kaabil love for his own sister. Not for the sister of happy, right, his brother's sister, so the twin of being so he wants
To marry his own sister, but Javi was supposed to marry the sister of gabion. Right, who called the loved his own twin sister. And so he was jealous in that sense and he wanted to stop her from marrying his own twin sister from marrying this twin sister of COVID. And so they got into this dispute and to make a long story short call bill ends up raising his hand or attacking bill and habil he refuses to fight back he says, this is you know, something if you attack me, I will not attack you, Allah subhana wa tada has decided this upon us. And so he refuses to fight back. And corbeil ends up murdering happy, then Allah subhanho wa Taala sends What? a crow. Right? And the
Crow, what does he do?
Right, he digs the ground, and he starts to throw the dust around. And this is showing called deal, an example of what he's supposed to do dig the ground, and put the body of javion into the ground and bury it. Because what he had done initially was, he had gone away from from where they were living from where their family members were. And this is where they had their dispute. And he killed them over there, and no one knew about it and his body began to smell. And so Camila didn't know what to do. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala sent this bird to show him exactly what to do dig some of the ground, put the body inside and throw the dirt over it. And this was how we learned how to
bury the bodies of
our deceased, right people who pass away. And then we also know the son of the jenessa. From the death of Adam Allah has sent him When the angels came, and they buried the man in his center. So here in these verses Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us
the example of Calvin and Hobbes, and it's important for us to point out that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in a hadith and this is relevant to the story of happyland Colville, that there is no sin worthy of a swift punishment as a prophet sallallahu Sallam tells us, there's no sin worthy of a swift punishment, meaning that the punishment should come to you now on Earth, as well as later in the hereafter. So you should get your punishment quick, clean, and on earth when you're alive here, for who for the person who severs those ties of kinship. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam says there's no sin, or there's no sin that is deserving of the punishment to come
quickly or immediately, other than a person who cuts or severs the ties of kinship with their relatives. And that's to show us how important it is for us to maintain our ties of kinship. And we spoke about this quite often in the past few weeks or the past couple of months when we were talking about or going through other Burma friends, as we do outside of Ramadan, and will continue on Friday nights as well after Ramadan. We go through the book, other permafrost and we started off talking about the family and keeping the ties of maintaining ties of kinship. And we spoke about this in detail. So for those that were not present, you can join us after Ramadan in sha Allah, Allah right
here in this Masjid every Friday evening.
Then in verses 32 to 34 Allah subhanho wa Taala he goes on to talk about how humans should respect the sanctity of each other. Right mean edgeley, Danny Calcutta. Benny is more ina and
katell NFC can be avoided enough sin our facade you feel for Karen patelin sagamihara woman Yeah, fuckin
Jimmy so Allah subhanho wa Taala here after the story of Gabriella and Javi he tells us that it's important for us to look after maintain the sanctity of someone else. Mankato left behind enough sin Oh, facade infill fucka cotton and NASA gymea whoever takes the life of another person for no reason. You harm that person, you take their life away or you spread a facade, some sort of evil, you contribute to the beginning of the spread of an evil fucker and cotton and NASA gem era. It's as though you have killed all of humankind
as though you've killed everyone on the face of this earth, but then Allah subhana wa tada says, woman, yeah, if you simply look after one person, one person you
Take care of them, you maintain them, you help them in a difficult moment in their life. Right? You give them safety, you safeguard them against some sort of harm that was supposed to come their way or that they were in the middle of receiving an alien sagamihara. It's as though you've given life to all of the human beings on the face of this earth. Now, that is an amazing thing.
It's dangerous if we harm someone when we're not supposed to. But it's beautiful when we help someone out of a difficult situation. Now imagine how many times do we see people in difficult situations, people in many different parts of the world, we open the news every single day I know people come home and the first thing they do is turn on the TV, and they want to watch you know what's happening in back home in different countries, what's happening in the world, right? And we see many people being harmed in different parts of the world, what are we doing to help them?
How are we helping them the least that we can help them which is probably the most important, but we look at it as being the least meaning it's so easy to do, but we don't do it is to make dua make Doha? Doha is so powerful if we were to make dua all the time, and constantly and always, for ourselves, and for others, we would see a change on the face of this earth, but we're not doing that. And the people that are in need those that are struggling and suffering, they need to also make Doha and I say this because I've met people and spoke to people who have gone to places on the face of the earth that are suffering and struggling. And a lot of the time when they talk to the
people, they ask them what do you need, and they don't say do as the first thing not everyone, a lot of people will say, but some people are not convinced that Dora is going to help them. They're convinced that money is going to help, medical aid is going to help, assistance is going to help but they're not convinced that help is going to come from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So it's important for us to make dua and to encourage others to make dua and to see and welcome the importance of do in our lives.
Allah Subhana Allah to Allah and these verses 32 to 32 to 34. He also mentions the punishment for those who cause mischief in the land those who cause mischief in the land. In emerges Latina you have a boon Allah, what are Sula who is gonna fill out the facade and yakata Oh usando Takata ad him What are Judo, Judo community life in a uniform in and out,
then he can feed dunya
of them. So I'll also candlelight and it talks about the punishment for those who cause mischief. You can read through that inshallah Tada, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, the one punished, sorry, with regards to the person who is punished the person who did something that they received the punishment for. So for example, they stole something when they should not have stolen and their hand was cut off. And this is obviously done in other countries not over here, right because it goes against the law over here. So we don't apply this in these lens. It's only applied in lens that follow the shitty hat or apply the laws of Sharia.
So the person that does that commits a sin and they repent to Allah subhanho wa Taala. After the the punishment has been given to them, that punishment itself was remittance for their sin. So the the sin that they committed, it was wiped away because of the punishment that they received. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that that person, you know, the punishment that they received is expiation for their sin. As for the person who Allah subhanho wa Taala, covered and concealed their sin. So you committed a sin, but you didn't receive the punishment, your sin was concealed and covered by Allah subhanho wa Taala. Then it's up to Allah subhanho wa Taala, to decide if he wants
to give them a punishment later on or not. Whether they will receive a punishment in the hereafter or not. Now the person who, who makes Toba and seeks forgiveness, they should fully believe in there in Allah subhanho wa Taala that their Toba is accepted by Allah and they should get past their sin. That is a sign of acceptance of your Toba that you've moved past it, you know, you committed a sin, you sought forgiveness from Allah subhanho wa Taala you repented you didn't return to it, you disliked that sin, you don't go back to it ever. That's a good sign and you should move on with life and don't dwell and feel regret over that sin that you've committed and let it come back to you and
haunt you and disturb you and make you feel as though you can never get closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala and this is a hadith that is mentioned in Sahih Muslim, the Hadees that we just finished referring to that
Allah subhana wa tada in verses 41 to 44. He talks about the Jews, and how they say that and how they say one thing, but do another thing based on their scripture. So in verse 41 to 44, if you read through it, because you are all holding the Quran in your hands, right?
Right, you're either holding the Koran or a smart smartphone or tablet or whatever you want, right with the brand in front of you, those that have smartphones, I reminded everyone before, if you want to log on to en.com, you'll have the English and Arabic in front of you, that's what I'm using right in front of me. So called.com, you can follow along as well, right? It's a fairly decent translation. In fact, you have a number of different translations to choose from. So in verse 41, to 44, Allah subhana wa tada talks about the Jews, and how they would not stick to their scripture in terms of the judgment that was mentioned in their books that they should use to judge between the
people, and we'll skip forward inshallah. And so we can combine all of these together in verses 46 to 47. Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about a sign He has sent him and he praises the Injeel. Just like in the verses prior to that, that where we spoke about the Jews, Allah Subhana, Allah to Allah there he praises the tota. In those verses, then he praises the Injeel and says that this is a book divine Book from Allah subhana wa Tada. Then in verses 48, to 50, Allah Subhana Allah, Allah talks about the muslimeen.
And he praises the Quran, and he commands the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in these verses to use the Quran for judgment with the Muslim mean, as well as with the non Muslims. And that's a lesson for you and I, when we have to govern or judge between two people, whether they're Muslim or non Muslim, we should be using the laws of the Quran, meaning whatever Allah subhanho wa Taala has stated, that's how we decide who is guilty and innocent, who is right, who is wrong, what should be done, what shouldn't be done, right, obviously, in accordance to what is permissible and allowed within the laws of the land of the country as well. So like we said, you use the Quran to judge
between someone who stole something,
but you can't apply the head upon the person in Canada, you can't do that. Right? You can't chop their hand off, that doesn't apply it in these lands, you can't do it. And so Islam allows us to not apply the head on those people, because the laws of these lands don't govern that. They don't allow us to do it. So there's a different punishment for those people and that punishment is applied by the state by the people by the country, right? So the nation itself will say, okay, you stole something, you are going to face, whatever, you know, a year, two years in prison, six months in prison, that is their punishment that's applied by the people, right of the laws of the land that we
live in. But Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us to use the Quran for ourselves as well as for the non Muslims when we're trying to figure out who's right and who's wrong in terms of justice, right.
Then in verses 54 to 56, Allah subhanho wa Taala threatens to replace me and do you.
Listen closely, Allah subhanho wa Taala in these verses, he threatens to replace me and you if we don't abide by the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala and so in verse number 54 256 almost accountable what to hide I says
yeah, Johan Latina
de for Sophia to become for Sophia Tina law will be economy
boom when you have buena de Latina parallel mock me Nina ERISA Tina lol caffine Naija Hito nafeesa been in

One more car on the so awesome. Can't wait to Anna here he says oh you who have believed whoever Have you should revert from his religion. Allah will bring forth in place of them a people who will love who he will love and who will love him. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us very clearly, those who live off the deen of Allah subhanho wa Taala and dis obey the command of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, He will simply replace us don't think ever for a moment that Allah subhanho wa Taala needs us. He doesn't need us. He placed us here for us.
To need him so that we can fulfill that, that test and pass the test that's upon us and attain genda eternal bliss, eternal, you know, enjoyment, but Allah subhanho wa Taala does not need us. The second that we turn our backs on Allah subhanho wa Taala there's someone else that's worshipping Him. And you'll notice if you ever analyze in your life, a moment that you've stepped away from Allah subhanho wa Taala nothing changed in the Ummah, there will still be people that will worship Allah subhanho wa Taala and so he doesn't need us. We are the ones that need a loss of Hannah who want to hide in versus 57 to 58 Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on.
And this also ties in with verse number 51. I basically brought 51 up to to mention it in the place of 57 and 58. Allah subhanho wa Taala forbids being loyal friends with the disbelievers. And this is an important topic for us to discuss. he forbids us from being loyal friends with the non Muslims with the disbelievers. But that doesn't mean that you can't have colleagues, acquaintances, friends, as in, you know, friends that you're going to school with, and work with, and so on, who are non Muslim. The point is, don't think that those are your best friends. And don't make them your best friends over the Muslims. Because when crunch when it comes to crunch time, when push comes to
shove, and you need to make a decision based on Islam, your non Muslim friends will not support you in that they will say this is ridiculous. What are you talking about? And I can give you live examples because I have not friends, but family members relatives who are not Muslim. And when someone is admitted in the hospital, and you need to decide is this permissible to take? Is this allowed? Are we can we take this treatment or not? Can we pull the plug or not? What should we do islamically? Is this permissible or not? The non Muslim family will say Oh, he's suffering, just give him the medicine, give him the morphine, let him take the morphine, don't worry, just give it
to him. You know, this is the that's nature nature let nature take take its cause. But as Muslims, we know that life is in the hands of a boss and handle what to add. And even when a person might be in the last stage of let's say, the treatment of a severe disease, he can still give them health, he can still give them life, he can still extend their life for many years. And so you'll notice when it comes to important matters. Those people that we take as friends or sincere close friends to us that are non Muslim, when it comes to a serious matter in life, they will differ from you. And that is just normal if you're if you're using and as we saw in the verses This is why last panel data
emphasizes the importance of governing and judging and using the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in making decisions in your life. When you do that, you will notice that the non Muslims will not agree with you. In the in the majority of the cases, you might have friends that will say you know what, we respect your religion, we respect your decision. If that's what you want to do, we stand beside you and we help you and support you. Okay, that's fine. But you will never 100% agree in terms of decisions that you need to make for your deen with someone who's a non Muslim. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us don't take as sincere friends, those who are non
believers,
have them as acquaintances, have them as people who you work with people who you deal with, that's fine. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that the profits a little longer. And he was telling him he would do business with the non Muslims, he would go and do business with the Jewish right with the Christian, he would travel in expeditions even before Islam after Islam, that's completely fine. There's nothing wrong with that. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Right. But don't make them sincere friends and think that they're going to be the ones that will make the right decision for you. If you are put in a situation where you need help. Let's say in a medical condition, you're put
in the hospital and you need someone to make a decision over you would you prefer Muslim or non Muslim to make those decisions? Ask yourself all right. So Allah subhana wa Tada. That's a simple example that I that I came up with, you know, the example of someone being in the hospital, illness, death times of hardship, where Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us the importance of having Muslims as our friends who will be there for us when we need them the most. Then in verses 72 to 75.
Allah subhanho wa Taala

One la de mean I mean saw. So here on muscle panel with Johanna and these verses, he confirms that he sadly has seldom called his people towards the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala he did not call them towards worshiping Him, He did not call them towards him being some sort of God sent to the face of this earth. And he states that and says that in the Quran and Allah Subhana Allah to Allah teaches us that in verses 82 to 86, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about the relationship between the Jews and the Christians
and the Muslims. So what is our relationship between the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims? I don't want to recite two verses 82 to 84 for us, and then we will read through them in sha Allah hota hai Allah because they're important verses for us to listen to and to try and comprehend. So in verses 82 to 86 this is where Allah subhana wa tada is talking about it and will recite two verses and chumba or three verses.

Allah Subhana which Allah says in the verse, who are they? The Jews, the Jewish, right, and those who associate others with Allah subhanho wa Taala had, then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and you will find the nearest to them
in affection to the believers, or sorry, the nearest of them in affection to the believers.
Those who say we are Christians, what does Allah subhana wa tada say here? What did we just hear? We just heard that Allah subhana wa tada says, Those who will have the most hatred towards us as Muslims will be the Jewish and those who will have more of a liking towards us, will be the Christians. How many Jewish do we see entering Islam? Not many, how many Christians do we see entering Islam? Many, and Allah Subhana Allah goes on in the next verse to say, when they hear the verses of the Quran, Torah, or you know, human Tuffy Illumina demaree, you will see their eyes filled with tears filled with concern. Why because it coincides so much with their scripture. And we
saw an example of that with who during the time of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, the negus than the joshy, right? He when he heard the Scripture, he was like, This coincides so much with with with Christianity and what we believe. And that's why he gave them listen to me in that went to have a shot, safety and security.
Because they had that soft spot in their hearts for the Muslim mean. And that's a reality. It's a reality that we see. And we continue to see now at our time, even though we're over 1400 years after the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala here in these verses, he tells us that you know, the Christians will have a closer relationship with us than the Jewish and the interesting thing that I'll tell you very briefly in sha Allah to highlight yesterday I was talking to Shane from the feed those of you that might know him shifting avita as he is right, currently lives in Calgary. So I was talking to him and he's actually enjoying
At the moment, actually, he's flying into London right now. But yesterday he was in Jordan. And he had tried to cross over with Bono, Mohammed into Israel. So they can go to must've axon because that's a dream of his he's always wanted to go to Monster XL. And if you go to his Facebook page, he actually ended up writing out the entire story last night. But he was saying he's like some kind of law, you can actually tell the fear that's in the Jewish, they have so much hatred for the Muslim mean. And that hatred shows in pride and arrogance that comes out because they want to show that we're better than you. And they only do that because they're scared of the Muslims, because they're
scared of the truth of the Scripture, not scared of, you know, being stronger, or fighting and battles, but they're scared of the truth in the Scripture, that they can actually feel that this is true, but they hate to accept it. So in their actions, they will show that they are, you know, mocking you and and boasting that they're better than you. But they only do that because they fear the fear that their scriptures are so close to the Quran, and that the reality of the truth is written in the Quran, but they don't want to accept it. And for those that have some time, go and read his his posts on Facebook, very interesting how they tried to cross over into Israel. And even
though they technically are allowed to holding Canadian passports are allowed to they were denied entry and driven back into Jordan and refused entry into Israel to go to
mustard Alexa.
In verse number 89, Allah subhanho wa Taala. He tells us the importance of keeping our oath. And if someone was to break their oath, what they should do so Allah subhanho wa Taala, in this verse, he talks about those who make an oath. And you know, when someone is making an oath, they normally will say, as Muslims will lie, right? What law he'll do this what law he'll do that what law I'm going to meet you what law he you know, a promise to do this. And so when someone says that, and they take an oath by Allah subhanho wa Taala, but they break their oath, meaning they didn't fulfill, they didn't come through with the truth of what they were saying, what should they do? That's actually a sin
upon us. For those that didn't know, you are sinned, if you break your oath. And you say, Well, I am going to do something and you don't do it. And you give your word to someone, and you swear by Allah subhanho wa Taala. So if you don't do that, or you don't fulfill what you said, you were going to do, what? Or what process Do you need to cleanse yourself from that sin. And Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us in verse number 89, very quickly, the expiation from that sin of breaking your oath is simply removed by feeding 10 poor people, that is the first thing that you do, and Allah Subhana Allah reveals them in stages, not for you to pick and choose which one you want to do, you do the
first first, if you can, so feed 10 poor people, if you can, if you can't close 10 people, right? So either feed them or clothe them here, Allah Subhana Allah gives you the choice, not if you can, or can't either feed 10 people or close 10 people. And when you feed them, you feed them the food that you eat as well. When you close them, you close them the same types of clothing that you wear as well.
If you can't do that, then Allah Subhana Allah says free one slave, no, who's gonna find a slave to free, right? So you can't find a slave to free and you can't do the first one you can't do the second one. If you absolutely can't do any of those then fast for three days, fast for three days, if you break your oath, and this is something that we need to learn to do, because as Muslims, we tend to give our word a lot. And we say we're going to do something and we say, well, ah, he'll be there. Well, Makita wamba I know when I was in Saudi everything was Wallah. Every every sentence had one law in it at least twice. Not every sentence began with Well, it began and ended with a lie,
right is
everything. Okay? Right. So So cattle Allah subhana wa tada shows us the importance of
keeping our oath and if we break it, what we should do, in verses 90 to 96, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about certain prohibitions. Yeah, a young Latina woman in America may see one on one as lamudi resume in Armani shape on fujitani boohoo Lauren Lacan, tuifly so Allah subhanho wa Taala. We said, this is the surah of
the spread, right? The tablecloth filled with food, things that you can consume, and things that you shouldn't consume. Those things that you can consume are sitting out there waiting for you in a few minutes in
Sharla write the things that you can consume Allah Subhana Allah mentions, and he says, don't consume intoxicants. drugs, alcohol, things that are going to intoxicate the mind. Right? don't consume what gambling. Now you wonder consume gambling? Yes. When you gamble, what do you get wealth, you consume that wealth, that wealth is how long for you to consume, don't consume it. Other things that Allah Subhana Allah mentions are forbidden for us, altar stones. And these are places where people would go that were known to be you know, religious or famous places where they would offer sacrifices. This is not permissible in Islam as well. As well as lottery's hunting while in
your home or when you're you know, in the house from the boundaries of Mecca and Medina, then this is also forbidden to do in the state of the home. Then in verses 101 the last panel attalla talks about the dislike and disapproval of asking, constantly asking questions with regards to things that Allah has made very simple. So Allah subhana wa tada says very beautifully in verse 101, yeah, levina
lattice and Warren,
to build eloquent. So don't keep asking about things that have been made clear to you that the more you ask, it's going to become a burden upon you. It might become a burden upon you that now the more that you keep asking, Okay, wait a second, okay, because you said this, then you have to do that you have to do this, you have to do that no. loss of habitat has made something clear. Take it as it is and do that. And just simplify it. The Deen is simple. Don't try and complicate it for you. And a lot of people end up complicating a stem for their own selves. But what about this? What about that? What about here? What about there? What about that? What about it? And it just becomes so confusing.
Especially for someone who's newly practicing Islam, I wouldn't say a new Muslim, because it is like that for new Muslims as Muslims, we complicate it too much for them. But someone who's let's say born Muslim, raised Muslim, but not really practicing. All of a sudden you start to practice Islam. you confuse yourself by making it more difficult upon yourself for absolutely no reason. Right? Take it step by step, step by step learn it slowly, slowly, slowly. Right? And especially what Allah subhanho wa Taala has made clear, let that be easy upon you and don't go and question too much of the deen make things easy upon yourself. Then in verse 112, to 118, Allah subhanho wa Taala. Here,
he talks about a Sally has sent him, his disciples and how they asked for the metadata from heaven. And we say that this is obviously Sora EDA.
And so Allah subhana wa tada that shows us in these verses, how they ask for food from the heavens, and they're provided those food from the heavens. And that is what is known as the Last
Supper, The Last Supper of a Saturday has sent him with his disciples. He was sitting there with them, they asked for this food from Jenna. And he told them right, if I ask Allah Subhana Medina, he will give you the food and he gave the food, but on the condition they have to believe, right, they have to believe. And so they were given this beautiful food and he sat there and he enjoyed himself with the his disciples, they enjoyed a meal. And this is known as the Last Supper. Why? Because after this incident, Judah one of his disciples went off and decided to
tell or was going to use a different term, the more common term for the youth is rat out. Right to rat out to the side. He said, I would say where he was, tell him tell the
the those that were against a Saturday has sent him we could say, they were against him in terms of his preaching the oneness of Allah subhanho wa Tada. And so he went to them and told them, the whereabouts of eSATA has said them, and they came back and they sent him inside Judah inside to go and see if a Salah Hassan was really in there. And if he was in there, he would come out and tell them, and then they would go in, they would barge inside and grab a salad, I guess, set up, right. So they did this as a decoy, so that he sallallahu Sallam would not think, Oh, you know, what?
Who is this random person who's coming into this place? This place of worship that we have, right? Who is this random person? So they said, you go in just to confirm that he's there. He will not suspect anything. He's AlHassan will not suspect that something is up, right. He's about to be, you know, grabbed and taken. And so when he went in, he didn't see or he saw a center. So he turned around and when he came out
Allah subhanho wa Taala had changed the face of Judah to resemble the face of Isa Allah has set up just like that movie back in the day. I remember it was called face off, right? face off that movie where the face was changed into someone someone else. And so Allah subhana wa Jalla says one mercato one Masanobu Willa king should be heard on that we change the face of Judah, his disciple that had gone against the eSATA his setup so that he would resemble Aretha. And when he walked out when when Judah walked out, he looked like he sallallahu sallam, and they jumped on him and grabbed him. And it made it seem as though they grabbed a Santa has set up and hung him or crucified him. But Allah
subhanho wa Taala said, well, not Cthulhu they didn't kill him while Masanobu they didn't crucify him while that can should be heard on that it was made to seem as though it was him when it wasn't really he said, I lay his setup okay. So that is that brings us to the to the end of the sutra
and he said to his Salaam, he reaffirms his he reaffirms his belief in Allah subhanho wa Taala Just give me a second to go to the next suit on Chavo town and get those verses up.
We'll start sort of, very briefly in sha Allah, Allah will take a few verses Allah subhana wa tada begins at 111 Livia Hanukkah somehow it will
automatically wander for millennia capital buildup in the Arduino. So Allah subhanho wa Taala begins the surah by praising Allah subhanaw taala This is what we do we begin the sutra praising Allah Subhana Allah to Allah.
In verses four to 11, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows the idol worshippers that even if they were sent signs of their liking, so they would say send us a messenger send us this send us a sign that we can believe on Mohammed that what you're saying is true. They wouldn't believe. So Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about that, and talks about some signs and some miracles that were given that even though they were given, they still didn't believe. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala says no matter how much they're going to ask for the signs, they wouldn't believe. And then Allah subhana wa Taala goes on in verses 17 to 21.
Talking about his status, so the status of Allah subhana wa tada and his abilities and what he's capable of doing. And in verses 27 to 32, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us that wishing those who received a punishment in the hereafter those that disobeyed Allah subhanho wa Taala, and they will be shown the fire they will be placed close to jahannam, they will see Johanna they will wish to return to this world so that they can do what was good and beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala but it will be too late. It will be too late. There's no coming back. And so he uses this as an example for us in the Quran that you want.
Sorry, you will you will want to do good now, because I'm telling you later on those who disobey, they will see jahannam and they will wish to return. So do good now, before you wish to be from those who would return to earth so that you can simply do one or two good deeds and have Taqwa in Allah subhanho wa Taala in verses 37 to 39 and we'll conclude with this and shuttle back to Allah. The machete keen asked for signs from Allah Subhana Allah to Allah again. So we saw earlier that Allah subhana wa tada said, that even if we were to send signs and miracles, they still wouldn't believe it wouldn't be enough for them. And in verses 37 to 39, the mushrikeen asked for signs of a
muscle kind of what
they asked for signs of his greatness, ask for signs to be shown that this is the truth, that Islam is the religion to be followed.
Yet the interesting thing is, Allah Subhana Allah to Allah has made this entire world as a sign, everything on the face of this earth that we see and don't see is a sign of a loss of power regarded as greatness. And so every aspect of this world, and the signs that he's showed us, and the signs that we don't even recognize, that are right in front of us that I've given you examples, those that attend regularly, because of the shortage of time, we're not going to go through any examples, maybe tomorrow, inshallah, China will do that. But this world is filled with signs of the greatness of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Yet we don't recognize it. We don't see it. We don't understand it. We
don't comprehend it. Right. And so this is where we conclude recognizing the signs of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And from those signs is the ability to taste food that we will be able to taste in a few minutes in sha Allah. And you'll notice when you have a cold or a sinus infection, you can't taste food, and that
The only time that you realize yeah Allah, please take this away from me so I can taste food again, right make my sinus infection go away so I can taste the food. And in a few minutes we'll go and taste the food that Allah Subhana Allah has blessed us with. And it's one of the good signs from Allah subhanho wa Taala that he loves you and He grants you this food to break your fast with because you are the people agenda. So we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make it easy for each and every one of us to enter agenda and to accept our fasts and to grant us from amongst those who will be forgiven on the Day of Judgment, meaning out of anatomy or some long cinematic anatomy and
