You know, I remember back in the day, Braveheart, it also had a lot of strength and might and power, and that is shown through or is recognized through the Army or through battles and the way that their people would conduct themselves.

So he had dominion, he had power over the east and the west, and the countries within them or the regions of the world within them. And other kings, you know, submitted to him. He was a powerful, wealthy person. Some people said that little codename was named or called vocal name, the one with two horns. That's that's what it means for to translate it literally. Because he reached the two horns of the sun as in the East in the west where the sun rises and where the sun sets

So he followed a route until he reached the furthest point that he could reach in the direction of the setting of the sun in the in the western part of the land where he was. So he could not go any further west.

So he says on the amendment as for the person who is you know, wronging themselves and doing wrong and this was our topic for the last week, right? We were talking about one and oppression and you know, so on and so forth. And then we were also this week talking about

he shall have the best reward, she's shall have the best reward that person will have the best as in, it will be treated with kindness with, you know, with respect and so on and so forth.

And that the scholar says referring to in the Hereafter, the person who's doing good, that person will receive goodness in the hereafter. We don't need to receive anything good in this world. We don't need praise from people. We don't need status and honor given from people of course, it's good to have right and we should strive to be as best as we can and to achieve great things. But what he's referring to is that in the Hereafter, Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah will give that person goodness, okay, what's an akula? Who was an a poodle, a woman, a marina you saw and we as invoked, I mean, he's right, he says, and we shall speak good words to him mild, you know, nice speech kind be

kind and gentle as I mentioned. So this brings me to a point that we discussed earlier today, our Juma football. And I think, you know, usually I try to give topics that are very light and very easy. How the Prophet said along there I think he was sending them says of law Judo, Allah Dini, really okay, the longer I think he was

sending them says that a men is upon the deen of their friend or a man or person is upon the way of their friends right.

So Diem can be understood as religion but it can also be understood as weight, like the way that a person lives, right? The the the typical way, if a Muslim is saying, Okay, this is the way I live, as in I live according to Islam, this is the way that I live.

The Way of Allah subhana wa tada is, you know, Islam and submitting to a lawn following the sun of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and so on and so forth.

So each of you should look at who your friends are, as in, look at who your friends are, and choose the correct friends. Why? Because we will be upon the way of our friends. Now what does that mean? That means that in this world,

we will pick up a little bit of who our friends are, I remember a study or research was done, that the average person is

is is if they have a circle of I think it was nine or 10 friends, a person is 90% of what who their friends are, as in 10% of every one of your friends is what you pick up on you only 10% of yourself, which is a really interesting study. So how a lot because when we look at our circle of friends, you know, they have influence upon us, and we can also have influence upon our friends. And that was the second part of my flipbook today. And, you know, the thing that I emphasized afterwards was, you know, we need to show a good example

We as Muslims as believers in Allah subhana wa tada we need to be the ones that are setting example for others, right? And

as much as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam tells us that

we will be with those who we are friends with. It's also not just referring to this world, it is referring to the Hereafter, that we will be with the people that we were within this world that those are the people of Paradise, we will be with them in paradise. If those are the people of john then we will be with them and john and what he has to be loved, right? We ask Allah subhana wa Taala to save and protect us. And so it's important for us to recognize

the choosing a friends is part of our Deen. Okay. And here in this little portion of of tonight's session, you know, we just highlighted a little bit that Allah subhana wa winter is showing us there are people that are good. And then we received, you know, goodness from a loss of hanaway data and hate in this world, you know, people will speak nicely about them and in the year after they will receive genda and goodness and so on and so forth. And then there are people who disobey Allah subhanho wa Taala. And if we are hanging out with people who disobey Allah, and that could be that could be people who

and I hate to say it this way, but it could be people who are Muslim, but just don't turn to Allah subhana wa Tada. Like when you're chilling with your friends, and it's time for sauna and no one gets up to pray and no one has the courage to actually say, hey, it's time to pray Get up. It's time to go. You know, MC Whoo, let's get ready and call the event pray Sana, if no one has the courage to do that, or the guts to do that, then are these really the best friends? People say? Oh, but they're Muslim. Yeah, but they're Muslim. But are they bringing you closer to a lot? Are they taking you away from Allah Subhana Allah, right. So that's something we all need to ask ourselves. The people

we hang out with, should bring us closer to Allah azza wa jal. And if they're bringing us further from Allah, when you're on your own you prayer slaughter, when you're with your friends, you're not praying you're set up, then they're probably not good friends for you.

Okay, if on your own, when you're when you're all by yourself, you're able to pray your nomas right, your prayers, your Salah.

But when you're with your friends, you can't, then they're probably not good friends for you. And they're probably not good friends for us. We ask Allah Subhana Allah to add it to strengthen every single one of us, and to give us friends that will help us and we will help them to get to paradise. I mean,

Allah knows best. The point is that the prophet SAW A lot of it, he was sending the saying that that barrier has now been opened right in cracked open. And

that good people could also be destroyed on Earth, because evil will increase. And this is again, taking us back to our topic of friends and being careful of who we hang out with and making sure that we have good friends around us. Because good friends will either encourage us and help us to become more righteous and connected to Allah subhana wa Tada, and bad friends, well, they will help us to also contribute in spreading evil on earth. And we ask Allah Subhana which added to protect us from that. Allah has been lucky Allah Subhana Allah continues by saying that full codename says, this is a mercy from my Lord, right after he built that role in that barrier. He doesn't say that

this is from me, he says, this is a mercy from my lord from Allah subhanho wa Taala ad for the people right.

And we have to still try to maintain that, despite sometimes us having family members or relatives that may even disbelieve in us.

Right, they may even just believe in a lot as Elijah. And so we have to just find that way. And I always use the example of a door and I tell people look, you know, leave your door open a crack. What I mean by that is

always have a relationship with your family, don't cut them off. Because we are taught not to do that, right. So leave your door open a crack if they ever need anything as an if your relationship with them is potent and very bad. And it's like harming you in the sense that, you know, they're inviting you towards sin and towards evil and towards disobedience and shift and so on and so forth. cut that off. But don't cut them off. Because the day may come where they're like, you know what I want to turn to Allah, they come knocking on your door and if your door is shut, how are they going to be able to receive help from you? And so I tell people don't shut your door fully. Leave it open

a crack, if that makes any sense.

We have to do that. Sorry. We have youth that don't know what we'll do is we don't know the That's true. We have lots of people who are still learning and Subhanallah that's why one of the things that we do have running is our youth program.

And it will be on Saturday as well as Sunday for one hour each day. And we will have our mentor program that will continue in sync with that as well on Sundays. So for example, Saturday will be from 11 o'clock until 12:11am to 12 noon, and Sunday will be 11am to 12 noon, for class as well. So those two days and then from 12 to 1230 will be the mentor sessions with our mentors Of course, in specific grades, with with the mentors, you know, brothers with brothers

and sisters with sister mentors as well. So that's something that everyone regardless of where you are on earth can and should take advantage of because Allah knows we may not have another online session for the youth program in the future we'll probably shot a level four we in January in January, reverts back to having the classes in person in sha Allah.
