Virtues & Blessings – The Three Sacred Mosques – Al Masjid Al Aqsa

Believe it hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah who have you seen him similar to Russia do Hola Hola. Hola. Hola. Hola. Hola Chica shadow under Mohammed Abdullah rasuluh salatu salam ala. So we're concluding a series called virtues and blessings. Speaking about the three holy places in Islam. We began three weeks ago or two weeks ago with Chef with either the Sunni on a Masjid

Al haram in Mecca,

or the Haram of Mecca. And then last week, Chef Kamal continued with a mercy the number we are the Holloman Medina, and this week inshallah we'll be continuing with an MSc that Aqua in Jerusalem, speaking about the virtues and blessings of these places now beginning to speak about an MST that upset people are aware that it's the third holiest site in Islam. And so what this hadith did is it restricted the undertaking of religious journeys or pilgrimages or seeking reward from Allah subhanaw taala for the visitation itself of any particular message on this earth except for these three and it is the three that we know and mercy that haram in Mecca and mercy the newbie in Medina and mercy de la casa. Now, I wanted to share a number of qualities about LSD than absorbing before I did that I found it appropriate that you have to zoom

out because one of the things that makes it miss you that upside unique is that it is placed in a general region that is blessing and that region is the region of a sham. And so before talking about the blessings of and ministry that upset in particular, I wanted to speak about the blessings of a sham as a region. Allah subhanaw taala he says Subhan Allah the SRB Abdi Leila minute Masjid Al haram in MSG, the officer levy Baba Tina, hola. The first verse in Surah Al Islam, Allah says, exalted as he is the one who took his slave on a nice journey from invested in Haram in Makkah to administer the Aqsa to administer the opposite the one that we blessed its surrounding areas. here you notice that Allah subhanaw taala doesn't just call the message itself, bless it, but Allah calls the surrounding area of MSG than OXA bless it, that is the area of a sham. Now what is a sham? A Sham is the area that covers for modern day countries, and that is Syria, and Lebanon, and Jordan, and Palestine. And the sham is a blessing and sacred land that Allah subhanaw taala destined to be the place of revelations, the birthplace of prophets, and the refuge of godly men

of the virtues that ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada mentions of a sham and the fact that its blessing as mentioned in many verses of the Quran of them is so totally solid. The first verse that I just mentioned also, in sort of the MBR verse 71, Allah subhana data says with a J now who a lot and a lot of the metabolic Nafi Hydrolat Amin, Allah says, and we saved him meaning Ibrahim and loot to the land that we blessed for the entire world or for the world's and Ibrahim Ibn Taymiyyah Rahim Allah he says it is known that Allah subhanho wa Taala removed and saved Ibrahim and loot from the Arabian Peninsula and from the land of Iraq to the land of Hashem and even with Musa Allah subhanaw

In the Western ones which we had blessed and sought out a lot of verse 137. And so it has an adversity and Fatah that they both said that this land that's blessings that Allah is talking about, is a sham. And Allah Subhana Allah, Allah says about Musa himself that he says in Surah 10 made the verse 21, when Musa had been part of the Exodus, where he had led the Exodus, rather, and they had left Egypt, and they had approached the city of Jerusalem and Allah subhanaw taala commanded them to go enter, and if they were to fight, they would be victorious. And so Musa A tsunami says, Yeah, palm and hold all of them. But the seletti Khattab Allahu Allah can do either at the battery comfort

something interesting about this concept and this one of the main meanings of this is an Mobarak. And so we see that it is something that's consistent and this is appropriate. Why? Because one of the names of Allah subhanaw taala is produce, and it's translated as the holy and that's great, but how do you access that name? How do you access the name and could do so one of the main manifestations or one of the main aspects of this name is that he is the one who blesses and so ALLAH SubhanA data is the one who blesses certain times we heard the ultimate today about the edge of the 10 days of the edge or was the one who decreased times to be blessing whether it's the last

10 nights of Ramadan, Allah subhanaw taala is the one who decreased places to be blessed like Mecca and Medina and Hashem. Allah subhanho data is the one who blesses certain people and blesses their time and blesses their actions. And so when a person is seeking blessing, one of the beautiful names to access and to ask Allah by is his name a produce, you need your time to be blessed. You need your wealth to be blessed. You need your health to be blessed that you ask ALLAH SubhanA data by his name and produce nonetheless. So when we hear that a lot of them so we know now that one of the meanings of a lot of them, or even the name of the city itself is blessing. It is a place that is incredibly

fruit fruit bearing. It is a place that Allah subhanaw taala has blessed with Revelation and with prophets. And even after the death of the prophets. It's amazing when you think of and you reflect on how many of the great scholars of Islam, people whose names are pronounced on the tongues of every Muslim, whether it's imam or Novi, or even Tae me or the have your Eben cathedra, or many many, many famous scholars in the past and the present even hydroton Escalante. They were all from this region of a sham.

Nonetheless, suit a man's kingdom as well was in a sham.

Allah subhanaw taala says about suit a man who is today a man every house if I can teach you to be able to heal all the metabolic mafia. And

those cities that he's talking about our cities in a shop, and so many, many, many different verses are talking about this land being a land that ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada has blessed, but not just that, if you look at the hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu sallam, you'll find that he many times spoke about the blessings of a Shem spoke about the blessings of this region. And I want to preface this when we hear about the Hadith of the Prophet SAW Selim and all of these Hadith and I'm going to list them probably going to miss lists six or seven of them. I want you to remember that when the prophets of Allah do send them was alive, Hashem was not Muslim.

When he was alive, there was no Islam in a shop. So he was talking about a place that up until that time, no Muslims had approach no Muslim or there was no Muslim presence in a shop. And yet He is praising a sham and talking about a sham being this incredibly special place, this inspector incredibly blessed place, this place that is going to be such a, a pillar for the OMA of Islam and that is part of his prophecy, some Allah it is in them. So the first hadith is Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam has narrated by Zedi Minitab it he says, Kula Cananda rasool Allah is Allah Allah Allah has sent them not only for Quran mineralia car, he says we were with Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam

collecting the Quran on pieces of cloth. And then Rasulullah sallallahu sent them he says to buy the sham,

glad tidings to a shop.

Great news, fresh I'm glad tidings and they said you answered Allah what for? Why is that? And he said no Mala Ekata Rahman boss, ha ha ha ha ha. He says because the angels of man are spreading their wings over it. And so this is an activity and so

What are the law on whom their world is between Mecca and Medina and the Arabian Peninsula and the province of Elijah send them is telling them that the angels of Ramadan are spreading their wings over this area of a shot. Secondly, are the second Hadith, the province on the lightest and and tells us that a sham is the chosen land of Allah subhanho data, even how Allah he says that rasool Allah Allah Allah they send them he says, slay a sealed Unruh Isla and Hakuna Junu them with Canada June to bisha June Bill Yemen, Iraq, he said that there will come a time when you will be armed troops. One group of troops will be in a tion and another group of troops will be in an airlock and

another group of troops will be in Yemen. And so even however they said You also will Allah if I live to see that time when the Muslims will be in these groups. Choose for me which one should I go to? Which one should I go to and so the province Allah Allah is sent him he told him he said go to a sham. He said go to a sham for it is Allah has chosen land, I think can be sham for interfere to Allah him in our day. It is Allah has chosen land to which his best servants will be gathered. And the Hadith continues. And this isn't a Buddhahood authenticated by Sheffield, Barney, third Hadith here. The Prophet sallallahu is in the mentions that the pillar of the book was placed in a sham.

What does that mean? From Abdullah? And how Allah he says, Thou Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he says, are a two layer letter, goosey they be removed and abiotic and Hulu and the middle America. He says I saw on the night that I was taken on the night's journey, a pillar that was white gutting the Hulu as if it is made of pearl. It was being carried by the angels. And

I asked him and I said What are you carrying? And they said to him, we are carrying the pillar of Islam. We are carrying the pillar of Islam and we were commanded to place it in a shot.

they said to him, the angels they said to him that this is the pillar or he says, I followed it with my eyes. And I saw that it was something that was being carried to and placed in a sham I Moodle keytab. And it is amazing when you think of

But he was informing them and letting them know that a sham would become Muslim. And then Iraq would become Muslim and Yemen would become Muslim. And an authentic hadith he told them and he said, because there's also a debate with regards to you hear all of these a hadith about a sham which one is better to live in? Is it better to live in a sham then is it better to live in these places? Or is it better to live even in a place as beautiful as Medina and so the Prophet sallallahu Sallam he says in an authentic hadith he says that you will

conquer an airlock and people will travel to it. And Medina is better for them if they knew and you will conquer

Yemen and people will travel to it. People are going to want to move there.

And Medina is better for them if they knew and you will conquer a sham and people will travel there and they'll relocate there and they'll resell it there and he says and Medina when Medina Tyrone down low can we add him on and Medina is better for them if they only knew. But nonetheless, the virtues of a sham are undeniable the prophets of Allah they're sending them. In our fourth Heidi is here he prayed for it to be blessed. our Yemen. We'll call you or they said God who will finance dinner and the Prime Minister Lolita isn't himself alone robotic and NFE SHA, Allah Mubarak Lana, if you have any not so the province of Allah de Sena missing Oh Allah bless our shaman bless Are you

And then and then the people who are with me said, What about Nigeria

and Niger is an area that's considered to add up. And so the problem is the law isn't and didn't respond and he just continued saying Allahu Allah wa even after he shot me, nobody can interfere me, Nina. And then they said, What about Nigeria and Rasulullah sallallahu sallam, he says

punakha Zilla as it will fit and will be held. Yet, according to shape on. He said he comment to them about Nigeria and he said there that is where the earthquakes are. And that is where the Phaeton are. And from there emerges the head of Satan

are fifth Hadith and so the prophets Allah Allah Allah is sitting in prayed for a sham and Yemen both to be blessed. But not only that, interestingly, and amazingly, a sham is a yardstick for the righteousness of the ummah. A Sham is a yardstick for the righteousness of the house. So rasool Allah, Allah Allah Allah Islam says in Hadith reported by Timothy, who graded it as he hasn't said Hadith, and Quran, and maybe he'll call Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam either first or the Arusha fella.

He says, When the inhabitants of a sham become corrupt, then there is no good in you. There is no good and in all, when the people of a sham, the people of these regions become corrupt, when their morality has become corrupted when their religiosity when their religion is become corrupted. And so the people of a sham are a yardstick and you'll be amazed to see that truly.

Allah subhanaw taala continues to test them and test them and test them in every time in place, right that particular region, you know, people, they look at the Middle East, and they say, Man, that place is full of conflict, and it's been conflict for 1000s of years. And you know, yes, and no, right? The answer is yes and no.

No, there are many times of peace there. But yes, there has also been many times of conflict. And it is indicative of Allah subhanaw taala testing them and bringing them back that particular region to their Lord and to their religion and to his religion.

And this hadith that I mentioned is reported by Timothy who graded it as a hessenthaler. Hadith. Our six hadith is that there will always be a host of people from this ummah who are upon the truth. They are not afflicted by those who forsake them. Those people who surrender them, those people who go against them, the prophets Allah, Allah do send them he says, as the hadith of Romilda behind he says, I heard from Alia even Abby Soufiane that more Alia said I heard Rasul Allah says Allah they are sending them say Lai Azhar aluminium Matthew on metal MMB amarilla Lai Allah Roman hada, whom Madame and high level whom had the idea

that there will continue to be from my ummah and OMA, a group of people who are upon

the Command of Allah, they will not be harmed by those who forsake them or those who will go against them until the Command of Allah comes while they're on that state. If everybody changes their religion, they're not going to change their religion. If everybody lets go of the rope of Allah, they're going to hold on, they're not going to change. And yet, while you may be Soufiane was told that more eyes even ejabberd, the great companion from the onslaught more or even the devil said, those people are in a sham, those people are in a sham. And the reality is with this particular Hadith,

this particular Hadith that's talking about a group of my ummah will always be upon the truth, you will find that different people said different things. So Imam Al Bukhari and the scholars of Hadith they said about this particular group of people because it's incredible brazen praise from Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi. Salam, they said that it this is talking about 100 Hadith, that this hadith is talking about the people of Hadith, that they're the ones who are holding on to the truth, and they're the ones who are not changing, they're the ones and the way to resolve that or a way to resolve it is that this group can be different people at different times and different places in the

domain. So my IT manager, but he said that this is talking about the people of the of a shop, and that is true. And he said it is talking about the people of Hadith and in reality during the mamas bodies time that people of Hadith, they served Islam in a way that was required at their time. Different times people didn't necessarily need Hadith to be served in the way that the great collectors of Hadith served during their lifetimes, right and during that period of Islam and so Islam as it continues to evolve and as the Muslim ummah continues to evolve, you're going to need people to serve the OMA in different capacities in different ways. Nonetheless, that is the hadith

of a

group of people amongst my ummah, the seven Hadith here, in the province of Allah to send them tells us that a sham is a land of many martyrs. It's a land of many Shahada. He says a tiny Gibreel Gibreel came to me with fever what Barun he came to me with fever and with the plague, and so the fever was sent to and Medina and Athar all was sent to a sham.

plake was sent to a sham for Tharun shahada to lumati Warahmatullah home which soon added caffeine. And this hadith is reported by Muhammad. He says Jabril came to me carrying fever and plague fever was kept in Medina and plague was sent to a sham and plague is a martyrdom for my ummah and mercy and wrath upon the disbelievers. And so plague

has touched the region of a shot many times over from the dawn of Islam as early as the army have obeyed them to Jarrah or the Allah Allahu Allah. Allah is one of the I shall remember she didn't me Jana is one of the 10 was promised paradise and his army in Syria was affected by plague in the year 638 to 639, after the hitch Allah and I'm leaving the hospital, the law and who because he loved obey, there's so much when he heard of the plague, he wrote a letter to obey. Then he told him, he said, come back, I need you for something urgent immediately in Medina.

And what everybody needed was for Agra VEDA to live.

So whenever they they heard of received the letter from a middle minute, he wrote him a letter back. And he said, I would like to stay with my, my, my troops, and 25,000 Muslims died in that plague, in a sham and 638 to 639 great companions passed away, like obey them to Jehovah himself. Like more I didn't have the Allah Allah

and His Son, Abdullah Hamid, they both died, died in that plague in a shot. But not only that, when you fast forward and you look at the you know, the plague of the Middle Ages, the Black Death, it touched a sham as well. And it was said that in the year 1348, between April 10 and may 10th 10,000 people died in Gaza, from that plague from the plagues affected in the year since then

asked for.

Or I think that's seven hadith is enough for a sham. I want to spend some time also speaking specifically about the beta and McAleese and mostly the lochsa. And so as for admission to the upside of the virtues of MST that OXA is that it was the second message ever built.

He said 40 years. And then the province of Elijah said I'm told Abu Dhabi he says and wherever you find your the time for prayer pray because it is all a masjid for you wherever you are.

This brought up the debate

of who built an Masjid Al haram and who built in Mr. de la casa

because generally fewer did a you know common knowledge is that the measure that held up and Cabo was built by Ibrahim and he said I met and mercy the opposite was built by Sudan man.

But this hadith here

causes a person to question that narrative. Why? Because the province of Elijah is Allah Martha authentically says that there's 40 years in between and Masjid Al haram and Masjid Al Aqsa. And there are over 1000 years between Ibrahim I didn't sit up and say, Man, I didn't sit up. And so how do we resolve this? How do we resolve this? The first

opinion is that Adam built the Kaaba, and then his children built an axon. And so when you have the building of Ibrahim that would come later and the building of shoot a man it is simply rebuilding, right. These are these are foundations that are there. These are houses of worship that had been built, and then they were simply rebuilt by their children who came after. So Adam built kava, and then his children built an aqua, another opinion and these are all mentioned by even hydrogen fadhel body. Another opinion is that Ibrahim biltwell kava, and then he built an axon. And so Ibrahim built both that he built both massages, and between the time between them was 40 years. A third opinion is

that Ibrahim built the Kaaba and yopu his grandson built at AXA and Sulaiman rebuilt that upside. And so Ibrahim built a cabin then yeah, he built an officer, and there are more opinions that the angels built them and, and others as well.

Nonetheless,

it was the second message ever built for Allah Subhana Allah on earth. And our second virtue of AXA, is that it is where the pride

If it's intended and migrated to, it is the place where they migrated to. It is where Ibrahim and looked at him as salam they migrated to. It is where Musa alayhis salam intended to take Benny slightly. In fact of the prophets of Allah Allah has sent them in Makati. He tells us that Musa it is set up when the angel of death came to approach Musa

when the angel of death came to approach Musa Musa didn't recognize the angel of death, and he slapped him a slap that blackened his eye

or defiled his eye.

And so the Angel of Death returned to Allah and told him he said, You're you have sent me to a servant who does not want to die.

Imagine that Musa de cerami punches the angel of death or he slaps the angel of death. But it was said that the Angel of Death came in human form. Because the angels many times they come in human form and so Musa all he knows is this guy approaching him and he doesn't know who he is. And so he slapped him and then you know, people ask the question, Well, how did how does Musa slap an angel? Like, how does that even work? The scholars they answered that by saying Allah subhana Tada allowed it. That's how it works. Allah allowed for Musa to slap this angel. Nonetheless, Allah subhanaw taala told him, he told the angel of death. And he said, return to Him, and tell him to put his hand

on the back of an ox. And for every hair that he will, that will come under it, he will be granted one year of life. So tell Musa to grab the the hairs from the ox, and whatever he can pull out, however many hairs will end up being in his hand. That's how many years of life he will have. And then Musa he said, Oh, Lord, what will happen after that? And Allah subhanaw taala said to him, then death. Musa said, if that's the case, then let it come now. And then Moses then requested Allah to let him die close to the sacred land, so much so that he would be at a distance of a stone's throw away from it. Let me come close to outputs. Let me be just a stone's throw away from a mystery that

Oxon, he never he never got there, he never got the chance to actually enter it. Because Benny as long as they rejected his offer, when he told them to go in and fight and you will be of the victorious they said, Oh, Musa, you and your Lord, go fight. You know, there's a tyrannical people in the city. So you and your Lord, go fight, and we are here.

We're going to simply be sitting here. And so what ended up happening was they then had to wander in the desert for many, many years because of that. Musa it set up at the conclusion of his life, and he never entered into the holy land. He says, oh, Allah, let me then just be a stone's throw away from it. And Musa Instagram passed away a stone's throw away from it. And Abu Huraira says that also loss of Elijah sent him said, If I were there, I would show you his grave, below the red sand hill, on the side of the road.

So the prophets of Allah they send them knows where Musa is grievous.

Interestingly, another virtue of this place is that it experienced a miracle that no human being ever experienced ever before. And that was that the sun stood still. The sun stood still in its heavenly course, for the conquest of Jerusalem. The prophets of Allah they have said them he told us, that a Prophet from amongst the prophets carried out a holy military expedition. And this man this prophet is you shall be known, you shall be known, was the the young man who was the assistance of Moses in Surah 10 calf, when Musa is talking on Allah subhana, ALLAH is talking about the fact that the young man that's with Moses, on his journey to visit, this man you shall be known,

would grow up to be a prophet, and after Moses, passing away, you shall be known would lead his community, the children of Israel, to capturing or conquering the city of Jerusalem. How did that happen? The prophets Allah Allah has sent him he says Gaza and Abune millet and BIA, one prophet from amongst the prophets, was in a lesson in a military campaign. And he said to his people lie at biological Melaka. Bilbo, Emirati, well who are you really do a Yemeni Bihar. Well, I'm Yemeni Bihar. He said Let no man follow me. He's addressing his his army now. And he says Let no man follow me. Who has gotten married to a woman like you've done the contract, but you haven't actually lived

with her yet?

Like if you have something that you're waiting for, then don't come with me. And let no man follow me who has built a house and he hasn't completed the roof over it.

At Let no man follow me. And he says and let no man follow me who has sheep or sheep camels and he's waiting for the birth of their young ones. So you shall be known as basically saying if you have

Anything that you're waiting for in this world, there's anything that you're looking forward to something that you want to come back for then don't stay home. Don't come with me. He's not looking for numbers. He's looking for sincerity. He's looking for a class. And so the Prophet sallallaahu send them says that this prophet carried out the expedition. And when he reached that town, or the time or nearly at the time of the apostle prayer, he said to the sun, the sun was its time of vessel, and the sun is about to set. He said, Oh, son, you are under Allah's order. And I am under Allah's order, oh Allah stop the sun from setting

and the sun stopped, and this is an inquiry. And so this man

said to the sun, you are

under Allah's control and am I under Allah's control because he didn't want the Sabbath to Congress, the Sabbath came then everything would be halted. And so he commanded or he asked Allah to make the sun stop in its course. And the prophets of Allah it was setting up the Hadith itself and body doesn't mention you shall be known. So how do we know that it's you shall be known because of Hadith reported by Ahmed Abu Laila says that Rasul Allah Allah idea of setting up says, Mojave such a Shem su Allah Basha, caught Illa Allah you shall be known lady Salah innovative practice, he says that the sun never stood still for anybody ever, except for you shall be known when he was campaigning,

to conquer beta and muck the score Jerusalem and so beta and MK This is the abode of the prophets, the abode of Yaqoob, the prayer place of doubt, the prayer place of Mary, and the abode of Sudan Solomon and Zachariah and John the Baptist and Jesus, all of these prophets walk through that land. All of them lived there.

Either migrated there were born there or died there. It's an incredibly blessed place. What then when a person goes Tibetan monk this when you go and you pray there, what's the what's the reward? What do you get? The Prophet peace be upon him he told us Salallahu Alaihe Salam of the prayer of Sudan man and so whoever built the beach would make this the first time

since a man rebuilt it that would began rebuilding it but Sudan man is the one who completed rebuilding it. And when should a man built based on this he prayed for three things. The Prophet sallallahu Sallam tells us as reported by even imagine that Sudan man prayed for three things. Number one, he prayed for judgment that would be in harmony with God's judgment. He wanted his ruling to be in accordance with God's ruling.

And they're still praying towards Mecca, and Ahmad Allah and who rejected that idea forcefully? And he said, No, absolutely not. We are going to pray. Because aroma is so sensitive, right? Because if the Prophet sallallahu Sallam simply the next morning told them, I ascended to the heavens, there would have been no mechanism for which the Mushrikeen or the polity is to test him. Because they don't know anything about the heavens. They've never journey to the heavens. No one's ever journey to the heavens, what questions are you going to ask about the evidence. But when he says to them, I've traveled to Jerusalem tonight. And I came back last night. Well, then the machine again, they've traveled to Jerusalem to and they know Jerusalem because of their trade and because

of their travel, and so they can ask him and quizzed him about veteran muchness. And they know that he's never been there, and he's never seen it so they can ask him about it and mark this and they did. So they quiz the prophets of Allah, they send them where they tested him about veteran matters and the prophets of Allah, they said them, he says, When they asked me about it, remember this, I became scared, or I became very apprehensive because he was worried that he wasn't going to remember. there are a few things that I wanted to conclude with and these are questions that come up a lot with regards to the admissions officer. this hadith is encouraging us that even if you can't pray in messy the lochsa, and at the time of Maimunah, it was a time of war, that you can still serve messy the lochsa. And so the province the Lola de Selim encouraged us to send oil to light it's it's lamps. And there's much that can be done to serve Mr. Than OXA. Now, and one of the

greatest ways or if not the greatest way is there.

But the question that we have to ask ourselves is do I even make dua for me to mock this or the people who create a mock this we just prayed mother?
