And as for the students of knowledge, dear brothers and sisters amongst you, no matter how busy you may be,

whether it is a masjid that you are running, whether it is a halacha that you are running, whether it is an eyesore that you are cheering or any other position, it does not make sense that you do not choose select people from your community who you love and are dear to your heart. They may be just three of them. They may be just 10 of them. And you gather around the book of Allah, no matter how busy you are.

You are the shape of Sheikh Al Islam and you are the biggest imam in the whole of Wales, you really have to have a circle of prayer

that you commit to on a weekly basis also

So these are some of the introductions that I wanted to share with you with regards to the study of the book of Allah, why we have chosen the book of Allah. Now we want to speak about why we have chosen about Surah two we have chosen Surah Kahf

chapter 50 of the Quran.

Surah Kahf

is a very powerful Surah that has the ability perhaps single handedly

to soften the toughest of hearts

and to humble the most arrogant of human beings. This is the nature of Surah off.

And when you read the narrations regarding how the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam approached the sower

and the type of relationship that he had with it, it becomes blindingly obvious and clear

that he took every opportunity where Muslims were assembling like this, to recite upon them Surah Kahf.

Clearly, therefore, there are secrets within the surah that the messenger sallallahu alayhi. wasallam wanted to convey with as many human beings as much as humanly possible,

the contents of the surah he wanted to share with everyone, how we come. These are some of the questions that we would like we would like to answer.

Let us take a look. Brothers and sisters and the name of sort of Cough.

And what seems to be

correct is that Surah Kahf was revealed more so in the early parts of Maccha. But not so much the earliest part. How come?

Does anyone have an answer? Why would we say that sort of craft was revealed in Makkah? Okay, granted,

in the early parts of Mecca, alright, but not the earliest parts of my

So we cannot say it's the earliest part of Mecca, because sort of life is speaking about their contentions, their arguments that they're raising against him. So there's a given take. It means he's gone public now. It means he's gone to the next phase. And he's giving Dawa publicly and the Quran is supporting him with arguments how to deal with their contentions. Is this clear?

So this is roughly when Surah two calf was revealed with regards to the theme of Surah Kahf.

So this was one issue that they had from the aqidah theology perspective. Another issue they had was that they rejected the resurrection.

They found it inconceivable that bones

after they deplete, they become scattered dust, that somehow Allah subhanaw taala was going to resurrect the dead, which is obviously a contradiction if you believe in a God who is Isaiah is an ally, and Jabbar and powerful. Why can he not resurrect the dead Surah Kahf deals with that from one perspective. Surah Kahf will show us some of the rational arguments that used against them and you can use when speaking to your friends and neighbors. How the resurrection is perfectly logical. It's perfectly in line with the rationale that God will resurrect the dead.
