Foundations of the Sunnah #09 – Al-Mahdi, al-Dajjal, & the return of ‘Isa alayhi assalam

So inshallah I just want to address a couple of points before we move on from the issue of a Shiva the last topic we talked about intercession.

Can be a gateway towards what *can Allah Allah did hell and towards Allah *can Allah azza wa jal that one of the reasons why people will commit *can Allah azza wa jal worship others with Allah is because they will say that these things that we worship, benefit us with him. They will speak on

our behalf, they will intervene, they'll ask for our sins to be forgiven. They'll protect us and they will elevate us, right? So if you don't understand the topic of intercession properly, it can lead you away from Allah azza wa jal, so you want to have a balance between those who reject it and those who miss apply it and exaggerated. So we have to affirm as we said in the lesson, that there is a Shiva that belongs to rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he is the best of Shafi and then to the other prophets of Allah and to the angels and to the righteous.

cannot cross. Right? So we have to tell that person Yes love rasool Allah is Allah Allah wa salam. But that's not the appropriate expression of that love. There are other ways and other things that you can do. Right? So that's clear in sha Allah, the distinction between all types of love and that when love moves out of its bounds, is no longer approved by Allah azza wa jal and it does not lead to his bloody pleasure subhanho wa taala. So prophet tells you that such a person will exist then.

Now there are some Hadith that are not explicit about and mighty. So some scholars can attribute that to Al Mahdi and say that's him. Other scholars are hesitant and some scholars say that's not an Maddy. Like with everything, right, some who rejects him, and some who exaggerate them.

So those who reject Him.

They look first of all, first of all, at what Muslim sects believed about Al Mahdi and still believe

and they want to separate themselves from it as some young Muslim sect today, they still believe that Maddie is alive and he went into a cave as a baby. And he's still alive and kind of people were in communication with him and then that communication stopped. Whatever a person could fool and dupe the masses by pretending to be righteous by having you know followers by maybe even up maybe even having some supernatural things happen around him and could that could be the work of the devils or could be tricks. If he could convince enough people that he's in Maddie, enough people will follow him and it becomes a problem. So when some people looked at all of that they say we want to stop this. So there is no Maddie. And they also looked at how some people have turned l Maddie into a savior.

That is no matter what happens wait for L Maddie and he will solve everything for us. So that he said no, no. And Maddie, that's not a reality in Islam. So that's an extreme position. Because you have authentic hadith telling you exactly who Almighty is when he will come how many years he will rule in addition to other things in sha Allah will talk about that he will be performing. So you have to affirm what the prophets Allah Allah wa salam has affirmed

the exaggerations, dismiss them educate people about what is right and what is wrong. So we don't really fall our fall easily into the trap of everybody saying, I'm ill Maddie Amil Maddie, because we have what? checklist in a sense, right? What's your name? It has to be what Muhammad Rob Did Muhammad Abdullah, okay, what is he look like? Is he from the family of Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam or not? And is this authenticated or not? And you look at the circumstances around that person. Before you give yourself to that belief, you look at the circumstances around him. knowledge around confirming that then you can say yes, he is and Maddie, but don't be duped easily by anyone who's saying I'm an Maddie, even if you begin to see dreams, or even if he begins to see dreams, the dreams on their own, are not enough to establish Well, Maddie is right. Otherwise the prophets Allah, Allah wa salam would have said, By the way, if you see enough dreams about him, it's him. He didn't give that as a sign, right? He didn't give dreams as a sign. What did he say? He says, that's his name. This is you know what he will do? This is how he looks right. So you look for one and two and three, and be cautious before you believe that about him and you have the people of

knowledge who also should confirm all of that, because Allah azza wa jal will guide them through what they know. And through people's Dakhla as well. Now, l Maddie will continue to live right during the time of the jail and during the time of Isa alayhis. Salam. We said that there's an epic battle that will take place and Matthew will be a leader in that battle. So he said Allah has Salatu was Salam that you are going to have an alliance with a room.

Okay, a room or a room. A room is a description of that European Christians, anyone from that site? Or who looks like

that those are a room. So you have an alliance with them and you will fight an enemy together, and you will win you and a room will win.

And then he said Alayhi Salatu was Salam, and then the room will betray you.

And there will be a battle between you two, and that is that epic battle that take place. The other side refers to it as what? Armageddon, right? The Battle of Armageddon, right?

So that battle will take place, and he said, Alayhi Salatu was Salam that the Muslim army 1/3 of them will flee. Allah will not forgive them for that, right? And 1/3 will die.

And these are among the best martyrs. So imagine with me, the intensity of that battle, I when you have 1/3 of the Muslim army, running away,

what does that do? Right, and then 1/3 dying, right, and only 1/3 is left and that 1/3 is the third that wins the battle.

And that is a very decisive battle. And or fly solo is seldom right. He said that they will gather all I mean, all their might to fight you. And I don't remember the number of the army right now. But if you are kind of like multiplied it exceeds a million, that will bring a large army to fight you. And you will fight them as well. But alhamdulillah and then Maddie will be the leader in that in that battle. And the Muslims will win. As soon as they finish. They will hear the news of at the jealous out.

All right. So that's that's the sequence of it at the jail has come up.

Now the data, the jail, that's another story. The jail that's another fitna, right, because if you think that that barrel was bad, right, or it is intense, or it's difficult outcomes at the job,

So what does he say about him Allah He Salatu was Salam now first of all, at the jail is a human being or not

a human being a human, a human being, except that Allah azza wa jal had given him abilities as a test. A cat in fact, as a test first for him, but also as a test for everybody who's around.

And what is distinctive about him is that he has flaws in both eyes, our line iliamna. So when we say one eye, right, he has two eyes, he can only see with one one eye

is flat, and the other eye is protruding.

And he said also about Emelia salatu salam that His eye is green, the color of his eyes green. So one eye is protruding as if it's a floating grape. So it put a grape on the water and it floats, right. That's how protruding it is. The other one is flat, right? It's not protruding, and it's not sinking in. So there's something wrong with both of his eyes, but he could see only with one.

And also what is written between his eyes. The word cafe

that he will come to people and he will say, Do you believe in me, as what as God? He said, Yes, we believe in you. So he will command the sky to rain and to it will what? Rain and the earth to bring its crops and plants and it will do so. So who will leave them because he passes by he leaves them richer than they were before. Animals are fat, they have water, they have things to eat, meaning they are blessed. And he passes by a village or a town and he says, Do you believe in me? And what do they say? No, we don't believe in you. And he will command their crops to stabbed to stop growing, the rain stops, the sky stops raining. So he leaves them impoverished enroute and poor. So

they are far worse than before him and those who believe in Him, see blessings coming because they believed he will say to someone, I would say to his followers, he say Would you believe me? If I kill this person, split them in half and then put him back together? They'll say of course if you can kill someone and bring back to life, then you're what?

Who else could do this? Right? God, so he will do this. He will kill someone split it, split them in half. Move him far to the two House far away from each other so that people could see and then brings him back. Glue him back like that. And then he stands up.

And he will go to the Nomad, the Bedouin and he says, If I bring your father and mother back to life with you believe in me.

The what does he say? Yeah, of course, right. So we will command and then two devils will take the image of his parents and they will say Oh son, he is Allah azza wa jal believe in him, so obviously what he believes in.

So he said Alayhi Salatu was Salam. There will be no place on this earth except that he will reach except Mecca and Medina. And there's a hadith another Hadith that also says Al Aqsa and Otto okay, it adds to those. But when he wants to come to Mecca and Medina, he finds what, that there are angels, protecting Medina so he cannot enter.

But Subhanallah I mean, it's not enough for you to be in Medina to be protected because if you're in Medina, but you're not a believer, you'll go out to see him.

Many women will follow him to the extent that a man would go home, and will tie some of his relatives or his wife before he leaves out of the fear that she will sneak out to join at the job.

And if you want to think about it, I mean, what would a person do if the person hears God is right outside the city? God, go and see him

joining to understand the fitna because we may be talking about it today. And we may not think that is much of a fitna, but once you actually to imagine that God is outside and you know what he can do? And you know how he can help. And he know what he can show you. God is outside the intensity of the fitna where you just want to run and see. And the prophets OLALIA Sydenham, by the way, he also said And that's from the thick of the gel or the fitna of the gel, men semi abit the gel if you hear about it, the judge should you go and see him. We run away to the mountains right to the top of the mountains, because he said Alayhi Salatu was Salam because a person

He would be, would think that they are have such a strong faith, they would go and meet at the gel and they end up following Him because of all the things that he has with him. Okay. And so if he's happy with someone who will put him in that Jana and that Jana is what the opposite is hell. And if he's angry with someone, he will throw him in what appears to be the fire and that fire is what the opposite there's water, he said, sallAllahu sallam, it's water. It's beautiful, cold water. But that is the appearance that he goes with. And at the gel is not simply strong, because he's only at the job because everybody believes in him. Everybody believes in him. And everybody defends him. And everybody, you know, attacks those who disbelieve in him.

And he said Alia salatu salam, he said, How long will he stay? He said, 40 days, 40 days, right? But 40 days a week where he can take control of this entire earth or whatever is left of it. We don't know when continents are still you know, inhabited or not. Whatever is left. He takes control of all of it except these spots that we talked about one, two, that's it. 1234. So you said 40 days they said oh prophets of Allah are these regular days. He says no. One day is like a year.

Actual year. And one day is like a month, one day is like a week, and the rest are regular days. So this is how long he will stay.

And everybody believes, and it's an intense fitna. And who's the only one right who's the only one that can kill it the

Before that, also, there's an incident it says where

someone comes out to meet at the jail.

Protesting code the jail is so first he meets some of the helpers of the jail and he says, where is that person? Who is claiming that he's at the jail? Or his mercy? And he then brings him back to life. And he says, See, and but he also he predicts and he says, I'll bring him back to life. But even after that, he's not gonna believe in me. So he brings them back to life. And he says to His followers, see, and they say we testify that you are Allah that You are the rub. But that person who is brought back to life, he says, Now I know more than before, that you're at the jail that the Prophet sallallahu selama talked about. So he wants to go and kill him again. And the

Prophet sallallahu wasallam. He says that Allah as it will protect him will be shielded with copper along all of his body, he cannot reach him. See, we'll take him by the feet and throw him in what appears to be hell, but it's not. And then the prophets Allah, Allah wa salam said, He will not be able to kill anybody afterwards, he will not be able to kill anybody afterwards, meaning that's the last person he could kill. And that is the signal the beginning of his loss of power, because he can't kill anybody. And then ASA Alayhis Salam descends to kill him. We'll talk about a Sallys. And I'm shortly.

But before we move on to isa alayhis, salam, and the death of the JAL, there is also what we call the fifth, the fifth the understanding of the fitna of the gel, because the gel is not just simply about a man who is going to come and he can do these things. It's also about learning about fitna altogether and how to protect yourself from fitna. So how do first of all, how do you protect yourself from the gel? What are the things that you could do to protect yourself from the gel? So first of all, the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. He said that if you meet him, you read what Surah or the beginning of what Surah Elka Surah Alkaff. So this is something that if you're afraid about the

fitna of the devil, you go back to Surah til calf, and you memorize at least the last 10 years in it, and you try to understand what it means, right? And how Allah azza wa jal protects the people of the cave and how Allah azza wa jal

You know, no talks to Musa and then God nine or what have you because in it there is guidance and can protect you from danger. So that's that's one. Second of all there is the fear of avoiding the fitna. Don't not testing yourself and not bringing yourself closest to what could tempt you even if you think that your Eman is strong. If you think that you have all the answers, there's a difference between finding yourself in the fitna

because it was unavoidable, and another where you seek it yourself.
