A few days back a friend sent me a link to a recent BBC documentary called “Maids in Hell”. The brother mentioned that I should watch it as it was very disturbing. The documentary details the plight of maids who travel to the Middle East to find a better life, but many are treated worse than slaves.
I honestly could not believe that a human would treat another human in this way, let alone a Muslim.
Sharing my thoughts on the issue in the Jummah Khutbah. Detailing the amazing rights that Islam has granted an employee.

every year 10,000 maids run away from Saudi Arabia, just from Bangladesh. 1000 run away every single year from Saudi Arabia because the way they abused

inshallah, that's what really hit me. Because the vast majority of these countries are Muslim.

May Allah Subhana Allah give us the ability to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet Allah Salaam keepers united in this dunya reunited in general
