And the second concern was, that, you know, I had talked about the Sahaba, I had talked about the Gambia, what about like us? You know, we are, we are not, we are neither from the Ambia we are needed from the Sahaba of the Quran home, and how will Allah forgive us and we're so sinful and so forth. So I want to tackle both of these questions today. Of course, both these questions, there is so much written about this in so many different books,

books, on theology, books, on, on to sell with books on Teskey, and so forth. But of course, I cannot cover all of them. I just want to share a few points with all of you, and hopefully this will benefit us. The very first thing that we have to understand when it comes to staying away from sin, or refraining from sin is that there is a certain Quadra or a certain ability that Allah has given us. And Allah subhanho wa Taala he has given us a choice to do what is right and what is wrong. If a person says the I will do wrong, and how can I stay away from it and Allah is not protecting me. We have totally misunderstood that how much ability Allah has given us. Each one of us brothers and

sisters, yes, our culture has been written, we don't know what our culture is written. And Allah subhanho wa Taala has given you an either choice. Allah subhana wa Tada has created something within us. Yesterday I talked about this known as innate human nature or fit crop, meaning that when I do something wrong, I know deep down inside that I am doing something wrong. Anything that is naturally from the core, it is wrong. There is absolutely no way that internally deep down inside you feel like you're doing something right. You know you're doing something wrong. And Allah subhanaw taala has given us this ability to make that decision. That Am I doing something right? Am I doing

something wrong? We know we're doing something wrong. But Allah has given us that decision and the ability making skills that we can either stay away from it, or if we push ourselves we will fall into that sin. I have to put in my own hard work in order for me to succeed. So likewise, when it comes to committing sin, the very first thing that we need to understand when it comes to committing sin is that there is a certain level of ability within ourselves that if we want we can stop from it. I want to share with you another beautiful idea of the Quran where Allah subhana wa Tada. He says,

You may feel like you are alone, but you are not alone. Why? Because Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran says LM Yeah, LM B and Allah Hira? Don't you know that Allah subhanho wa Taala is watching you. So Allah subhanaw taala is watching now think about this, if I am doing something wrong, and if there's some

other presence there, will I commit that wrong? If the answer is yes, I will not commit that wrong. Then when ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala is there at all times at all times? Then how can you commit that wrong? So first of all, always remember that Allah subhanho wa Taala is everywhere. And not only that, but even when we take the name of Allah subhanho wa taala. Take the name of Allah. I mean, think about this before you commit sin, just think about Allah is watching, say my other law. If I keep on saying that, I know that there's a certain time of the day I commit that sin. And that time, you go to the same place because sins are assorted

associated with places too. So it's not just time, it's also a place, and there's a certain situation. So if we are doing something wrong at a certain time of the day, on a certain situation, then we have to find that inner ability to stay away from that situation. If there's a certain place where I commit that sin, or a certain time of the day where I commit that sin, we stay away from that at all times, try to do something, try to occupy yourself with something else. Because there's a saying in English, an empty mind is the devil's workshop. When you are by yourself, shaytaan is going to overcome you in many cases. So occupy yourself with something else, you know, get on the

phone, call someone calls, call a friend of yours, you know, engage with them, talk to them, you know, go and you know, go outside, go for a walk or do something that will change your mind. But you cannot stick into that kind of situation. Another thing that we can do that can really help us stay away from committing sins is making sure that we change up our company. Our company has a really great effect on us brothers and sisters, whether you agree with it or not. Our company has a great effect, in fact, in South Africa have something that you may not realize, in the very first story. Last thing I want to quickly share, because this question did come up in this concern that, you know, the Sahaba were the Sahaba The Gambia, Gambia, what about us what Allah forgive us? I have one question for you. I have one question. And this is something for all of us. I talked about this yesterday, too. If there are two types of regret. One

is I regret that, you know, I did something really bad. You feel internally bad, that I did something wrong, and you want to make amends. There is that's perfectly fine. You repent to Allah subhanho wa taala. You make that strong resolve that you'll stay away from it. That is good, that's fine. But when you become so regretful that you feel like that, you know what, there is no hope. I'm so much in the sense that there's no way I'm going to step out of this. There's no way I can get away from this. There's no way I can escape from the sin. And then you start to think that Well, if there's no way I can escape the sin, then let me keep on coming to sin. Let me keep on coming to

sin. This is absolutely wrong. A person who feels that there is there is absolutely no hope for them. Once again. So Zoomer talks about this idea. And as I said yesterday, many of the Sahaba they felt that this ayah has the most amount of hope, the most amount of hope. So it does not matter. The Quran is for all times, is also for us. that we stay away from that sin. But no matter how many times we come to Allah subhanho wa taala. Allah is happy every single time. Allah is happy every single time. And I want to I want you to think about this. No matter how many sins we have committed, I can almost guarantee you that no one watching this video has committed probably 99 murder. They have not killed or they have not committed 99 murders. I'm sure no one has done that. We find a hadith a man who killed 99 people. He did not think about his brother and sisters. This man had not made Toba yet. He had not made Toba yet. He was headed for the land for the area where people are remembering Allah. He was headed to

the place where he will make Toba just the fact that he made the intention and he had a regret. Allah subhana wa Tada saved him. I am sure there is no one who's watching this video who has committed 99 murders. I'm sure that the sins that you and I we have committed is much less than that. If a person who has committed 99 murders and Allah found a way to forgive, forgive him. Do you really think that Allah is not going to forgive you? Deep down inside, if you have that regret and you have that sorrow in sha Allah Thumma in sha Allah Allah will forgive.
