Episode Notes

Chapters 17, 18 and 19 are elaborated upon in this lecture of the book by Shaykh Yasir Qadhi.

Chapter 17 deals with the topic of intercession. Here various topics are discussed such as  the descriptions of rejected and affirmed intercession, the “Greatest Intercession” being the intercession of the Prophet ﷺ, description of what the Prophet ﷺ will do on the Day of Judgement and how he will not begin by making intercession but will prostrate and when he is given permission he will intercede, the blessed  and the happiest of people who will be blessed with the intercession of the Prophet ﷺ, failure of intercession who committed Shirk and much more.

Chapter 18 deals with the topic of how Allah guides whom He wills. Here we are acquainted with numerous topics among which are explanations of many verses such as : “Verily, you (O Muhammad) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided ones.” (28:56) ,the eagerness and intense desire of the Prophet ﷺ to convert his uncle to Islam, the harmful influence that evil companions can have on people, the harm of over praising ancestors and important personalities, how the arguments of falsifiers are the arguments of Jahiliyyah and much more.

Chapter 19 deals with the topic – Excessive Dogma in the Righteous Persons is the Root Cause of Infidelity of Mankind and its deviation from True Religion. Here the topics brought to the fore deal with the explanation of the verse in Surah Nuh (71:23), how human nature towards the truth weakens in the heart while falsehood increases, confirmation of the sayings of righteous predecessors that heresy (Bid’ah) is the main cause leading to Kufr (disbelief) , excess and exaggeration (in the righteous ones) is prohibited, and knowledge of what it leads to, the harm of seclusion at the grave even with the intention of performing a righteous deed, the prohibition against statues and the wisdom in destroying them and many more such points.

Bakr,

00:00:31--> 00:01:12

the next chapter that we have moved on to whatever so he is the chapter of intercession. Okay. And this is a very important chapter, which all of those that practice idolatry are almost all of those that do idol worship, they use it as an excuse to justify their idol worship, okay? So we have to understand that intercession or the concept of intercession is a concept that is used by almost every single group of people that practice idolatry or any type of shift. Because what do they say? Allah Subhana was added, there's no hold on? How will that issue for Atlanta in the loss these items that we worship or these deities that we worship, they are our intercessors in front of Allah

00:01:12--> 00:01:22

subhana wa, tada, what is an intercessor everyone knows what an intercessor is, is someone that you use in order to obtain a benefit or to repel an evil? So for example,

00:01:23--> 00:02:01

you wish to obtain a job at let's say, any company, okay? And you know, someone that knows the CEO of that company. So you go to that person and tell them, can you speak to that guy, the CEO of the company, on my behalf, he doesn't know me, can you speak to him on my behalf so that I can get hired for this job, okay. This is a worldly type of intercession, okay and intercession in this world. So that will go and he will intercede on your behalf, okay. Now, the point is, intercession is divided into two types intercession in this world and intercession. Or if you think natural intercession as supernatural intercession, just like we divided the previous chapters, right, natural fears,

00:02:01--> 00:02:39

supernatural fears, natural asking for help and supernatural asking for likewise, intercession is also divided into natural and if you like supernatural, natural intercession is the example that we have just given that a person goes to a contact, or another person that has more authority or more weight or more prestige than he does, and he asked him to intercede on his behalf. This type of worldly intercession is allowed if two conditions are met. Firstly, that the person who is asking for the interceding In other words, you that you go to that person, that person is in fact qualified for the job, it's not as if he's not even qualified at all. Secondly, that's what actually considers

00:02:39--> 00:03:06

more than three. The second condition is that the job is tough as hell and isn't understood, you can ask the entity to become a you know, pulling wine or alcohol or working in a bar. I mean, obviously, it's understood or even worse things exist, you cannot ask for intercession for these things. Third thing is that when you ask for this intercession, no rights of another human being is taken away from from him, okay. So for example, let me give an example. First of all, you have these three conditions with now the first condition is what Hearts The first condition,

00:03:07--> 00:03:41

the intercessor or the one that is being exceeded for In other words, you are the one that is asking for the installation to actually qualify for the job, he has the right degrees, he has the right experience, okay. The second condition is that the job itself is Hello, okay, engineer, Doctor, whatever, hello, jobs, okay. The third condition is that no right of another human being is taken away and given to you instead, let me give an example. A company advertises that we have five openings, okay. 50 people apply for that job. And that opening is high, does that mean that you know, the job is Hello. In this case, they are going to choose five people, in a sense randomly,

00:03:41--> 00:04:02

it's like no one has the right to get that job. So if you are interested for if someone goes and ask the CEO to put so until either the asset or hire isn't in this job, then you're not taking the right of another human being. Because no one of those 50 people actually deserves the job by nature, it's just that they're going to select and choose based on the criteria. Whereas on the other hand, for example,

00:04:03--> 00:04:34

suppose that there is a certain opening proposal working in a company and you are moving up. If you like the chain of command, you're moving up the ladder, slowly but surely, and everyone has a degree or a priority that Firstly, the one that has worked 15 years, he is going to get the job, then the one that's worked for 13 years and the one that's worked, in other words, there is a line or a rank or a chain, and then you are on the bottom or in the middle of that chain. If you were to ask them what they need to see to get you to the top of the chain, you are taking away the right of the person at the top of the chain marquisate example you're standing in line, okay, the teller or the

00:04:34--> 00:04:59

bank or wherever you're sending who knows you, you try to intercede to get to the front of the line. That's not fair. Why? Because you're taking away the rights of those that are before you. Okay, so the third condition is that you don't take away the rights of another person. So in this type of worldly intercession, this is allowed if these preconditions are met, luckless. But the chapter of this was a side point. The point of this chapter is supernatural intercession is essential for religious reasons and professions to come closer to Allah tada without

00:05:00--> 00:05:01

That's to come closer to

00:05:02--> 00:05:14

entering genda and to be removed from the fire of health, and the author is going to prove clearly without any doubt that any forms of religious intercession to other than Allah subhanho wa Taala is just

00:05:16--> 00:05:54

allow the Almighty said and warned there with those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord, when they will, when there will neither be a protector nor an intercessor for them besides him, so that they may fear a lot and keep their duty to him. Okay, so Allah subhanho wa Taala is commanding the Prophet sallallahu Sallam that warned with this born with this needle on when the pronoun referred to here is the foreign war with the Quran using the Quran to warn those people that fear the day that they are going to be gathered or resurrected in front of the Lord. And then Allah says they don't have any friend or protector or intercessor they sit at home and do anything what do

00:05:54--> 00:06:04

you what is your fear? They don't have a protector a lead or an intercessor no one can intercede except him except for Allah subhanho wa Taala. So in this first

00:06:06--> 00:06:12

all intercessors besides Allah subhanho wa Taala organized there is no intercessors except for Allah subhana wa tada

00:06:13--> 00:06:55

A lot of you already said, say to a lot of belongs Oh intercession okay another very explicit verse extremely explicit verse only nahusha Jamia, tell them or Mohammed commander or Mohammed inform them that all intercession belongs only to Allah. All intercession belongs only to Allah. It does not belong to another human beings. It does not belong to angels. It does not belong to deities, things, idols, it doesn't matter. This verse is extremely explicit. And the fact that Allah subhana wa Tada, that's true Allah belongs Linda shefa means that only to a modest amount. In other words, when the object precedes the subject in the Arabic language, wonder if we like to call that precedes them

00:06:55--> 00:07:22

better. But basically, when, for example, what do we say in the Koran, he cannot do what ya can assign you alone do we worship was originally you should say we worship you alone. But the fact that you alone has preceded we worship implies that we worship only Allah subhanho wa Taala. In other words, when we preceded the objects with from the subject, now we preach the subject precedes the object. Now the other way around, was to have a look at

00:07:24--> 00:07:42

the hover is the actual the actual subject, subject and the most the hover is the object and the monster is the subject. Basically when you reverse the natural order, instead of saying we worship you alone, you say you alone doing worship, okay? Instead of thing intercession belongs to Allah you think to Allah belongs intercession.

00:07:43--> 00:08:16

And you're someone, when you reverse the order of the subject and the object was this implies that the Arabic language is that intercession is only for Allah. No one else shares in the aspect or in the concept of intercession except for the last time it was added. This was like we said, is one of the most explicit verses for the all encompassing nature of intercession that only Allah has the right to intercede only Allah has this power to entities, no other object no other deity even the Prophet Mohammed Salah center as we will get to does not have the power to intercede on his own will.

00:08:17--> 00:08:29

Flavio mighty said Who is he that can intercede with him except with His permission? Okay, now, we get to the exception, we gave you the two verses I say the general rule and there are more verses in these what is the general

00:08:31--> 00:09:02

intercession belongs only to Allah subhana wa Tada This is the general rules, this is the absolute rules. Now there are there is only one exception, though and this exception as will be fulfilled with two criteria. Okay. This is important, this exception that other people can intercede only with two conditions when they are met. Okay. The first condition is mentioned in this verse. Men's and men's letting Yes, power in double in that evening, which versus isn't it? Who is there that can intercede

00:09:03--> 00:09:33

except with His permission? Or is there that can intercede except with His permission? So no one can intercede? No one can intercede for any person from a lack of data except with the permission of Allah subhana wa Tada. This is the first condition which is a very important condition. In other words, if Allah did not give permission to that person to intercede, he could not intercede. Okay, so what are we talking about? Here? We're talking about the person that actually intercede on behalf of another person. So for example, in the example we gave back,

00:09:35--> 00:09:59

a man goes to a person or friend that knows the CEO. Basically, what this verse is referring to is that middleman the actual intercessors, not the one who is interceded for that Allah Subhana. Wa tada is only going to accept the intercession of someone that He has given permission to someone that has given permission to to intercede on other people. So this is the first condition. The second condition is mentioned. You can write this verse down in your book or in your notes, the second verse, the second condition

00:10:00--> 00:10:36

As mentioned as sort of an MDF verse 28, sort of an MDF, verse 28, Allah Subhana without it says, Well, yes aroona illa demonios kalba that they don't intercede except on behalf of those who Allah is pleased for this, this condition goes back to those that are interested for will have two people involved in an intersection will actually three, you have the one who actually intercede the middleman. And then you have the ones that came or Aleksander without or the seals that you go to with the intercession. Okay. And then you have the third one who is actually interceded for on his behalf. You understand these three people?

00:10:37--> 00:10:58

Exactly. The first person, if you like, is the one that you go to for your introduction, in other words, the middleman that you will go to him because he knows or he has some contact with another higher authority. Okay, the second person is yourself, which is the one who is being interceded for. And the third party if you like an intersection in any intersection is who

00:10:59--> 00:11:00

has

00:11:01--> 00:11:41

the highest authority. In other words, unless I know a guy or if it's related to this world, some you know King or some CEO, the point is a lot of times it was either thing until two conditions are met. No intersection is going to the extremes accepted. The first the first condition involves the middle man the one who is interceding. Allah subhanaw taala says no one he says I have to go see who is it I can intercede except with His permission. So in other words, not just any middleman can intercede only the middleman from Allah subhana wa tada has given permission that this person can intercede Okay, the second condition goes back to the group or the people that are being interested

00:11:41--> 00:11:48

for us. In other words, the middleman goes on their behalf okay. And Allah says that, what is the second condition

00:11:52--> 00:12:10

that Allah is pleased with them, when is founder Illallah Mariota these people the middleman, the middleman, they can never intercede or they cannot intercede except for people whom Allah is pleased with except for people who will live peacefully. So not for example, can shave and intercede for anyone know why which condition has he failed to meet

00:12:12--> 00:12:19

the first condition because he is not given permission to intercede Okay, have a pious person or a prophet intercede for those that are committing shoot?

00:12:20--> 00:12:50

No, why? Because of the second condition. Okay, so Allah subhanaw taala says that there are two conditions for any intervention to be accepted. Both of these conditions are mentioned in the Quran. The first condition involves the middleman that that person is the one that intercede, he is he has been given permission. And the second condition is that those that are treated for okay the people that whose intercession is actually being taken. I was pleased with them. Okay. And this is combined in the next verse that the author mentions these two conditions are combined in this verse, by the way,

00:12:52--> 00:13:29

he said, and there are many angels in the heavens whose intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given lead for whom He wills and pleases. Okay, now in this verse, Allah subhanho wa Taala says that how many angels there are, there's a question that tells you that there are many angels. In Arabic, this type of question is probably a rhetorical question, but it's succeed. In other words, you increase in other words, how many angels are there, there are so many angels that intercede on behalf of people on this day on this earth, the Muslims and the believers, but their intercession is never accepted. That tonisha I don't say, it is not accepted in the least accept

00:13:29--> 00:13:44

was, except after Allah has given them permission to whomever he pleases, and he is pleased with the people that are interceding for. Okay, you understand this, this first combines both of these conditions explicitly. The first condition is mentioned in which part of the verse

00:13:45--> 00:13:48

in the first condition which which section of the verse as I mentioned,

00:13:53--> 00:13:57

except the love given leave, in other words, he has given these angels permission, the second condition is

00:14:00--> 00:14:07

and he pleases with those that are interested for. Okay, so these two conditions that we mentioned are combined in this verse, okay.

00:14:09--> 00:14:12

The question might be asked now, okay, we'll move on to that.

00:14:15--> 00:14:36

He said, they call upon those whom you assert, besides a loss, they possess not even the weight of an atom, either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any sharing either nor there is for him any supporter from among them into session with him profits, not except for him when he permits. Okay, this verse,

00:14:38--> 00:14:59

even though Liam said, states that this verse has cut off every single excuse or every single argument of the machine, okay, very important phrase, you know, play in states that this verse in the Quran, or these two verses Actually, it's cut off, it destroys every single argument that the machines give forth for their ships. Okay. How

00:15:00--> 00:15:04

How is that the case, in this first lesson how to add dimensions for things.

00:15:05--> 00:15:44

And no one can commit ships, except that he believes in one of these 14. And Allah Subhana, WA Tada, destroys all of these four things. The first thing that a person will claim is that the one that I'm getting shipped with, or the one that I wish that in effect, Allah, He owns something, he owns me or he owns the power to help me or he has the power to do something. So Allah Subhana was added challenges them, they call upon those that you that you presume are Gods besides Allah, call upon those besides Allah that you that you think our gods, Allah says the first thing, lamb lacuna is called as a rotten system as well as adults, they don't even own an atom,

00:15:45--> 00:16:22

neither in the heaven or in the earth. So this is the first destruction. When you were to if you were to ask, now this goes against the will be it by the way, this goes against a the Ruby, if you're with us, for example, some of the hinges, why do they worship their evil gods, the gods that are gods and evil, they were to tell you that we believe that this evil god, if we worship Him, He will be appeased. And so he won't harm us. Because he owns the power, he has the power to cause us harm. So Allah says in this first section, on this first part of the verse, that whatever you call besides Allah, they don't even own an atom suite. They don't even own an atom in the heavens or in

00:16:22--> 00:16:54

the earth. So this is the first argument. The second argument that someone might say, of the machine again, is that what most they don't own it themselves, but they own it along with a lots of hydro with data, like a dual or triple owners, if you like, okay, so they are not single owners, but they have a shares, okay, they have a share of ownership. And this is what the machines used to say about their idols is that well, of course, Allah is the one that owns everything. But our idols they own also a portion of it, they are like, they're like mutual owners, if you like, the shareholders, if you're like in a company, that a lot of times that has the greatest

00:16:55--> 00:17:32

power or the greatest day, but our idols, they have a little bit of say also in the matter, so therefore we go through them. So Allah says in the next raid one night at home, see him in shift, and there is no partnership or there is no association that they have with their owners. In other words, these people, they don't even own a section of an ATM, they don't control. They don't have joint ownership of us, okay, that allows us in the next phrase, that will not ever feed him and * and they don't even have a portion or a say in this matter. In other words, full control is the left side of organic code, you understand the second argument, but then once you can bring forth is that

00:17:32--> 00:18:08

will some of them will say, well, are Gods they own something others will say are gods, they don't actually own it in complete ownership, but they have a partial ownership. So in this phrase, Allah says they don't even have this partial ownership. The third thing that they might say, Well, okay, the ownership belongs to Allah subhana wa, tada, but our gods are our idols, our deities are our pious things or our angels that we worship, they have some health in the medicine, did they help Allah subhana wa status in control of this ownership. And this also is a common theme of the, you know, of many pagan religions is that they will say, okay, the one main gods, he is the one that

00:18:08--> 00:18:42

owns everything and controls everything, but he passes out duties, if you like, to the minor cost, and the minor Gods help him out in his work. So this is why they go to these mighty gods, because they can help us out in some way. So lots of I know that invensense will not have a woman who misbehaves and he does not have any one that helps him out of these false deities, he does not need or he is not required in requirements of any house. Okay? The last point that the machine can come with, and this is the point of this chapter, is that they will say, okay, our guards that we worship, the prophets and the angels and the stones and the rocks, and for two purposes, they're all

00:18:42--> 00:19:13

the same. The prophets and the angels and the rocks, and the stones are all the same status for the set for them, which they can, in the sense that all of them are equally equivalent and should just because the Prophet is a pious person, and the store or a double doesn't impact person, it doesn't change the fact that when they commit shift, their sin is just as evil. There's been a committee shift is just as evil. And we've talked about this throughout three or four chapters, that on the on the Day of Judgment, the pious people will reject their shifts, and there'll be free of their shifts, and they will disassociate themselves from the machine. So don't be confused by the way,

00:19:13--> 00:19:46

this is high points still be confused by some babies and others that come to that how can you compare a prophet Muhammad Qasim to idols? You say we are not comparing the prophet to idols, we are comparing you to the idol worshipping the Platinum 100% is not making it to the left is the best of the creation and the most noble of the creation. But when you worship the Prophet Muhammad, you are doing the same thing that we should have been did to their idols. So we are comparing you with the idol worshippers. We're not comparing the prophet to idols, I was a villa. And he on the Day of Judgment, the prophet himself is going to disassociate himself from you. There will have nothing to

00:19:46--> 00:20:00

do with you. So don't get confused enough. The last one that goes with it. The last point that they wish they would use is that these things that we worship besides Allah, they will intercede for us. Okay? They don't own anything. They don't

00:20:00--> 00:20:36

share ownership in anything, they don't help a lot anything. But because of their status because of their power because of their prestige because of their nobleness. These are the ones that can intercede for us on our behalf. And this is the argument that the Buddha is and many of those that who shared with a prophet Muhammad doesn't have the us is that the prophet will intercede for us and his assistance must be accepted. Therefore, we will turn to the pocket Medical Center and ask him for our details to feed on our behalf. So Allah says in this case, in this verse, while as in fellowship, I do endo know intercession will be accepted. He led him in Edina, except for him, we'll

00:20:36--> 00:20:43

get him. For him whom he has given permission to. No intercession is accepted, except the one who Allah has given permission to interesting.

00:20:45--> 00:21:09

So this then destroys the argument of the machine, totally. No one can imitate when any object except he has one of these four arguments in his head. Understand this, this verse is a very important verse, underline it and write it down into it and said that using this verse, Allah subhanaw, taala has destroyed all of the arguments of the machine. No argument that they say except that this verse destroys it. The first argument was what?

00:21:12--> 00:21:42

That they own something and a lot they don't even own an atom's weight, and this hasn't owned yours. The second argument was, they have a share of ownership Well, okay, they don't own it totally. But they share with a lot ownership. And this two alliances refuted? The third argument is they held a Loki they might not own it, but they help a lot once they get a lot just towards it. And the fourth and the last argument, which is the most common, they intercede on our behalf, like Allah says, Look, what are you going to write this for yourself? Then we should at least to say, how that issue for Allah in the last, these are our intercessors inside of Allah, this

00:21:46--> 00:21:50

is the most? How would I should file that in the left? doesn't want to think

00:21:51--> 00:22:24

that these are intercessors in the sight of Allah. So when you were to ask them, why do you worship these idols, the pagans of all that part of the jaggedy, a pagan, they would respond to these idols, they intercede on our behalf? Just like when you go to these movies, and you ask them, why do you Why do you go to the partner system in this manner, they say the Prophet intercedes on our behalf and they go direct to the Prophet, so so in his grace, okay, and this is shift this shift, to go to the prophet in his grace and ask Him in His grace, okay, we're going to get to the proper way of intercession a little in a little while. Okay, another point I'd like you to understand before we

00:22:24--> 00:22:25

caught the last.

00:22:26--> 00:22:34

The last section, the last verse in this chapter, or the last statement of this chapter, is that intercession in and of itself,

00:22:35--> 00:22:41

has a number of implications to it. Firstly, you want me to write this down. Also, intercession implies that's

00:22:43--> 00:23:06

the one that you go to for the intercession. In other words, not the one that you go to. But the one that the intercessor is the one that's the big guy, basically, you want to say, like the higher authority, like the CEO, or whatever, it implies that he is unaware of you and your status. That is why you have to go through someone to get them you understand what I'm saying? Like you want the job, right? You want the job, right? Or you want to have something

00:23:07--> 00:23:40

that guy doesn't know you? How do you get to know him, you go through someone, so that he knows you that there is someone so I know him he's especially the guy hired. And this applies to a lot of data. No. So this is the first refutation that one of the implications of Mr. session is that it implies that the main person has a higher authority does not have knowledge. And this is refuted, Allah subhanaw taala knows everything. The second implication is that the one that is in the higher authority or the higher authority, he is not fully just is not fully just, okay. That is why, for example,

00:23:41--> 00:23:57

if you go to an evil intersection for improper cause, okay, and this is the way that politics in our times work is it works is that you rub my back called review, and it has an intersection, all around Congress in the Senate is all all that they do voting for each other's bills, if you study politics, if you vote for my blog post for you.

00:23:58--> 00:24:32

What is what's happening, the concession is this is that is showing you that the higher authority is unfair, is not just and that is why you need to go through another person so that he hires you, if you were fully justified, however you will based on their merit, then you wouldn't have to go through this intercession. So if this implies then that the higher authority is not fully just and not fully aware of the situation, from this apply to Allah subhanho wa Taala. No, but once again, from a logical point of view, from a purely logical point of view, right? We can destroy intercession in the sense that it doesn't even make any sense when it comes to a lesson that I love

00:24:32--> 00:25:00

and how to work out it will not increase his knowledge of anyone. If the programmatic system comes to him and his boys in Boston, he is fully aware of the situation. Okay? Likewise, a lot of times it will not increase or decrease in justice, no alert, always just even within Michigan when he throws him in the firewall, he is just with them. And when the believer at the end of the month agenda, he is just he does not even want an Atkins Wait, I'd like to hold on. So even though purely common sense point of view, intercession does not have any basis it repels the common sense into

00:25:00--> 00:25:26

Session can only apply in this life when they are imperfect creatures. However, when it comes to Allah subhana wa Tada, even logically from a common sense point of view is deficient cannot work. You understand this point, we proved it from afar. And so yes, we're all suffering from common sense. Okay, is that clear? A lack of Hiawatha is all perfect. Therefore he is not in need of objects or deities or false deities or human beings to come and intercede on his behalf. It's also implied by the waste and classification of intercession the common sense and

00:25:28--> 00:26:02

common sense way is that the one that is interceding the middleman, he has some weight or authority over the ones the higher authority. In other words, why does the higher authority listen to him in the first place? Because there's some weight or there's some favors that has to be repaid? Okay, so why would then the CEO or the high authority listen to this middle class? Because there is some worldly or some benefit to be gained off? There's no reason for him to do that. So it's as if the middleman he has a slight edge over these priorities, can this be possible with a loss of data with data? Obviously not. Okay. So either from a common sense point of view, either from a purely simple,

00:26:03--> 00:26:10

either a purely functional point of view, shift out or intersection does not make any sense. Now, the last quarter there's

00:26:11--> 00:26:46

a lot that said that Allah has equally negated all that the mushroom team has attached to their false gods, for he is negated that anyone has any Dominion or any share of it besides Him, or that there's any assistant to Allah and that there is nothing to remain except intercession. It is clear that there will be no benefit to anyone except for who has been granted permission by the Lord as he stated they will not be able to intercede except for him. Okay, with whom he is pleased. Okay, and this first paragraph is that they need the best by the way can you send me a checklist? What's the name?

00:26:49--> 00:26:50

My goodness.

00:26:51--> 00:26:52

But the funny thing is inside of

00:26:54--> 00:26:54

Medina

00:26:56--> 00:26:57

I've been heading to miss

00:26:58--> 00:27:02

Okay, Miss Amy hug good enough. What year did you guys love it? What year did you back?

00:27:04--> 00:27:04

700.

00:27:07--> 00:27:09

Use the phone. You didn't miss any of that?

00:27:14--> 00:27:21

No, it's not in the 728 728 or 724.

00:27:22--> 00:27:23

But you should know this take roughly

00:27:24--> 00:28:03

728 I believe I'm not mistaken. 728 Well, maybe 724 has come down in the line but 727 for the past two weeks. Okay. Then Samia said and this paragraph is an explanation of the verse that we just quoted is that Allah subhanaw, taala, negated. All intercessors are all associated devices. He negated everything that we should record they hold on to or they cling on to an indicator that someone else has power can you get someone else has a share in this power indicator that someone else is helping to unlock and nothing is up there except intercession. Basically, this first paragraph is what we just explained about this first, okay, so you understand this first paragraph.

00:28:03--> 00:28:08

And the thing is just summarizing, the interfacial diverse that just preceded the next paragraph.

00:28:09--> 00:28:48

And for this reason, the intersection that the mushrikeen believe in is rejected on the Day of Resurrection, as it is rejected by the Koran. And as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam informed us, He will come and prostrate to his Lord and praise Him and He will not begin with intercession At first, they will be said afterwards, raise your head speak and it will be heard, ask and you will be given his receipt and your intercession will be granted. I will vote at all the alongside on who asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who will be the happiest of people with your intercession, he the Prophet solarreserve and said, Whoever said La ilaha illAllah sincerely with

00:28:48--> 00:28:50

pure intention from his heart.

00:28:51--> 00:29:00

So this intercession is for those people with pure intent is a law so wills and will not be for those who can shift. Okay. And the second paragraph

00:29:02--> 00:29:18

in the Dania basically explains the concept of intercession on the day of judgment and this is one of the sisters asked this question yesterday also concerning the intersection on the Day of Judgment, how do we understand this Okay, and then this second paragraph, he explains it this session. So everyone should understand this is very important.

00:29:19--> 00:29:41

Concerning this principle, basically, the Prophet Muhammad SAW the low idea he was setting them when intercede for the entire mankind, okay? all of mankind the problem as if it went into seeds on what for what reason? So that Allah subhanho wa Taala can start the reckoning of the day of judgment on the Day of Judgment. As he says, everyone knows it's heady. Obviously, that the

00:29:42--> 00:29:59

the scenario is going to be very chaotic, very hectic, very hot, people are going to be the most scared that they have ever been. Because this is the day of judgment now. Okay, so obviously, all the mankind's and they are going to be in this state in this frightful, fearful state. They're going to be scared they're going to be panicking for what

00:30:00--> 00:30:30

Are they going to do? They're all going to go to Adam? Or they're going to ask Adam, O Adam, intercede for us intercede on our behalf to allow us to begin the day of judgment that is different has begun but to begin the reckoning of the dangers to begin the fact that Allah will start calling people to accounting and hits us. Why? Because it is judgment is so severe that punishment is so bad, they want to get over with a day of judgment. They want to know their fate, even though their fate might be jammed them or with Nikolas refuge, or it might be Dennis, and we have to call up virgin, but because of the of judgment is so severe, they want it to get over with as fast as

00:30:30--> 00:31:04

possible. So all of mankind's, every single one of them will then come together and they will go to others. This is reporting the quality and wisdom isn't authentic, it is without any doubt. And they will say Oh, you are our fathers and you are the one that Allah created with his own two hands and you are the one that Allah breathed life into. So go to your Lord and intercede for us intercede on our behalf. So that Allah begins to crease or Allah begins the resurrection, resurrection, accounting, the reckoning, okay, so Adam will say, I have committed a sin. And because of that sin, I am fearful of Allah subhanho wa Taala What's that? Did he commit?

00:31:07--> 00:31:36

He ate from the forbidden tree basically. Okay, so I have committed a sin and I have I am fearful of that sense, go to North, go to North. So they will go to North and they will praise Him and they will say you are the one that Allah saved from this flood. And you are the one that Allah blessed with, you know, whatever the blessings that he has. So they will tell North that's intercede for us on our behalf. Nor will say, I asked something that I should not ask Allah subhana wa Tada. And on. And because of that I am fearful for my work punishment. What did he asked?

00:31:38--> 00:32:14

He asked, that is moshtix MDC for the punishment. And a lot of times that are responded back to him. Yeah, no, no, listen, this son is not of yours project or the son is not of your family. Why? Because in the made up of a product or two, it's to the right tool. So out of that is that he has done an evil deed, he has done something that is not right. So you're asked Allah subhanaw taala, for something that he should not have asked for, he was fearful of that. So he said, I have done that sin. And because of that, I am fearful, go instead to Ibrahim. So they're going to go to Abraham and they will say they will praise Him. And they will say that he is 100 of a law, the

00:32:14--> 00:32:46

friend of Allah subhana wa Tada, we're gonna get to that next chapter. And they will ask him to do the same. Likewise, he will say that I said to realize that because of because of these lies, I am fearful of the punishment of this day. And in fact, these three lies that he said weren't really lies, but they, they were true in some sense, and they were false in another sense. And since we don't really want to get into that, we are invited to go back to hypercard in other books that have this extra scenario. So he will say go to mosa it will go to Malta, praise Him same situation most I will say I killed the person that should not kill. Remember, in his anger, he hit a person. And he

00:32:46--> 00:33:24

didn't mean to kill him, but that person died. So it wasn't, it was my progress, but it was an accidental to me, okay. And because of that I am fearful of the punishment of this page. So go to Isa, they will go to Lisa, Lisa will not mention any citizens, but he will say go to Mohammed Salah is to go to the final message of Mohammed Plaza. So then then they will go to Muslims. When they come to him with this statement, then he will say I am for this, I am for this, this is my job. This is my status. And then the fanaticism is going to go to the throne. He's going to approach the throne of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And like, like the same as the rice paddies, he is going to do

00:33:24--> 00:33:53

says that in front of the throne of Allah subhanaw taala. This shows you right away that the throne of Allah is a real throne, and not like these other states I'm interpreting and he's a real sort of how can the prophet who says this is in front of his nose, if it is not a real throne, he will do says in front of the throne. And then the problem with differences in a headache, he himself is saying, Allah will teach me a manager presence that I did not know before. Allah will teach me a certain way to praise him that I was unaware of I did not know before this date. So I will praise him using that praise

00:33:54--> 00:34:04

for what the prophet Mohammed solothurn gives this perfect praise of a love at a lower teaching right then and there at this point that that Allah will ask him Allah will tell him it aside, upset, raise your head,

00:34:11--> 00:34:51

raise your head, what will you smell and pay for it will be listened to what you say. Whatever you say will be heard when settled and asked for it will be responded to was to shut up and intercede for your intercession will be accepted. So who is the owner giving the process of the right to intercede? Allah subhanho wa Tada. So this fulfills what condition I'll be talking about the first one, whereas the second condition progresses and goes on and he mentioned and he says, If God had done, this is the alcoholic, that's a line or a demarcation will be made for me. In other words, those people that I'm allowed to intercede for a lower show me a line will be made for me to

00:34:51--> 00:34:52

intercede for these people.

00:34:53--> 00:34:59

So I want to see for them. Okay, so do you understand this though, that both of these conditions are being met.

00:35:00--> 00:35:34

Here's the first one that allows us to pause the process and then watch factors just back into seats during the session will be accepted. Not only that, the second condition has also been met in that the Prophet Muhammad will be given old be told who to intercede for, okay. And I will later ask when he heard this idea, or maybe when, when he heard another side effect, just another iteration, he asked you out of the law, who is the one that will have the most chances are the most luck or the most probability of getting your ship as the process of freedom answered, and this is a clarification of all those that can ship with him. He says, Whoever it says La ilaha illAllah

00:35:34--> 00:36:09

sincerely from his heart. And we know that one of the implications of the loss is that you remove or you negate every type of shift. So those are two shifts, whether it's with a rock or a stone, or an idol, or even the Prophet Mohammed Salah they will be the furthest removed from the right hand institution, because the Prophet said who is going to have the right and intercession he said, He who says law either high lost sincerely wishes are sincerely understanding its meaning implementing it, seeking the pleasures of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Because this process is also a verification of those that can achieve with any object including the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:36:09--> 00:36:11

Now move on to the last test.

00:36:12--> 00:36:28

The essence of the matter is that it is a loss who is above all imperfections, to favorites as soon as the people sincere in their worship and forgive them through the medium of the invocation of whoever he has given permission to intercede as an honor to him and to confer upon him the highest place.

00:36:29--> 00:37:04

Okay, now in this in this sentence in the Tamia is describing the purpose of intercession, someone might ask, what is the purpose of this intercession? When Allah subhana wa tada will decide who would intercede and he will decide who will be interested for someone might ask, what is the purpose? What what size? Or what benefit does it have, when Allah decides who is going to intercede? And he decides who will be interested for? Right? The answer to this is like anything he has said, that's the essence of this intercession is that a lot of what data shows his favor and blessings to the people of so Hades by causing them, there is a section to be accepted. And he shows his

00:37:04--> 00:37:38

blessings to the interceding person, by the prophet Mohammed for the lowest by causing for him to rise to this level, understand that all of mankind is going to push you on the Day of Judgment, the carpets and the believers, the hypocrite and all of mankind is going to come to the Prophet Muhammad says, and this is why the Prophet sets the low it would set him said, I am the leader of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgment. And no, Eric, I say this without any arrogance, the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu it was and it is the leader of the children of God. So there are two benefits into this intercession. What is the first benefit? What is the first benefit?

00:37:41--> 00:37:47

It shows a love mercy to the people that still hate because they essentially will be accepted. What's the second benefit?

00:37:48--> 00:37:49

Yeah.

00:37:51--> 00:38:20

It shows the status of the Father Mother system and all whose intercession is accepted. Okay. So there are two benefits to this type of intercession. You might someone might ask what is the purpose and if Allah will decide who intercedes and who will be interested for the response to this is that each one has its benefit. This is a type of mercy or a type of pleasure joint Allah subhanaw taala is showing his pleasure to those wanting to seated for at the same time, it is a type of raising of the raising of the status, raising of the dignity of the one who intercede the fanaticism and all of the others.

00:38:21--> 00:38:55

Anything that interesting meanings like the pious people and dangers we're going to get to that now. I'll finish it up into a session which is rejected and denied in the Quran is that which involves shift and this is why intercession is confirmed and affirmed by the permission of Allah in many places, the problems come from this alarm. So that made it clear that this intercession will not be for other than the people who have no hate and this loss Okay, so obviously in this case, or in this sensitivity Nia has been describing the shutdown or the intersection that Allah has negated throughout the Quran is the intersection of either there are two, there are two types of

00:38:55--> 00:39:28

intercession that quota has been negated both of them are shaped. The first one is when you intercede to other than our last when you go through an object or a walk or a pocket or anything. This is the first time in intercession and this is exactly what many groups do with a brother and sister and with other pious people, they go to, you know, pious saints and intercede to them instead of Allah. The second type of introduction, which is rejected is when you intercede on behalf of the people of ships, on behalf of the people or headquarter people of innovations or these type of people, their decision will not be accepted. Only those intercession will be accepted, who have to a

00:39:28--> 00:39:46

class to have it's like a narration says that who that the only one who will be accepted or the one who has to make more sense of, of his intercession being accepted is He Who says the last sincerely from his heart, before we move on to the next chapter. All of you should write down the types of intercession.

00:39:47--> 00:39:59

Firstly, we're talking about the types of intercession in general Firstly, that which is allowed and secondly that which is not allowed, okay. The intercession in general is divided into two categories, that which is allowed and that which is not

00:40:00--> 00:40:35

allowed, we already mentioned what has to be two sessions are not allowed these two conditions either it is done by the people, but it is done to a deity or false objects or it is set on behalf of the people of ship. Basically, they go against the two conditions that we mentioned. Okay, the intersection that is allowed is then divided into two categories underneath it. You have the specific intercession for the prophets of the law you send them and then you have a general intercession for everyone else. Okay. So do you understand so far we're going to stretch them into sections Firstly, prohibited intercession. Secondly, allowed intercession, the intersection that is

00:40:35--> 00:41:05

prohibited we mentioned that you either call upon other than a lot basically this might involve shifts, you either call upon other than a loss or you intercede on behalf of those people who are people of shift. So, this is the perimeter type of intersection, the allows that intersection once again divided into two branches. The first one is specific for the purpose of the law it was and then the second one is general for all of mankind. The specific for the province of cinema is divided into three categories 123, okay, so underneath the specific for the provinces, one, two, and three, the first one we have just mentioned, what is it

00:41:09--> 00:41:46

on the Day of Judgment, this is called an Mohamad mode, or the holy or the or the praised fascist states, that status, the praise status, the holy location, in other words, the profits of the love it will be blessed with that practice, in which he will intercede on behalf of all of mankind. So that Allah starts the resurrection, he starts the record. This is a Muhammad metamod spell we pray for us after the event. We should pray for after the event. This is the first special thing that is only for the prophets of Allah life and the second special intercession that is only for the prophets. Listen, him and no one else amongst Santa kind is what Who knows?

00:41:47--> 00:41:48

What is anyone knows?

00:41:53--> 00:41:58

What is the second special intercession that only the prophets are going to have and no one else will have?

00:42:01--> 00:42:05

No, that's not sufficient. The second intercession is that the Prophet says, I guess,

00:42:09--> 00:42:16

while you're getting there, but that's the second that the general discussion we'll get there. And then the second is we're talking about the specialist position that only the Prophet has this right.

00:42:18--> 00:42:26

We're rated as Muhammad. The second is that only the prophet SAW the love it said and has the right to knock on the doors agenda and open the doors.

00:42:27--> 00:43:04

In other words, all of the believers when they come to the gates are going to after the reckoning, after they have crossed the path to set off, and they come to the gates agenda, what man is going to come and knock on the door, it will be the Prophet Mohammed Salah Larsson, the angel will act from behind the doors Who is this and the pocket is a symbol of a Hamlet for the angel was a I have been commanded not to open this door except for you. So the door of gates or the doors of practice will be open after the Prophet Mohammed Salah law while he was not on those gates and not before so this is the second special intercession that no other person of most mankind will be getting. Step above

00:43:04--> 00:43:39

the opposite of has the rights or he has the honor of being the one to knock on the gates of Paradise as it gets a pirate will be open for him so all of the videos will enter after the pocket is open the gates department does the second special position the third special intersection is the intersection that the problem is the Leviathan and did was uncle Abu pilot. Okay, his uncle Abu validatable got it done with similar classes. A cafe he died anonymous No, we're going to get to this chapter right now in two minutes inshallah. And we're going to talk about that, then. But basically the prophets a little low has said and prayed to a loss to decrease its punishments not to

00:43:39--> 00:44:06

remove it. The profit could not even cause an aunt uncle to be safe in the firehouse. But what Allah did as a favor to Abba Father because of the fact that I thought it protected the profits and he gave a lot of His love and His time and sacrificed a lot of things for the profits. Because of this. Allah subhanho wa Taala caused a robot to have the least amount of punishment in the firehouse. No person that enters the firehouse will have a lesser punishment that will punish and what is the punishment of a robot it

00:44:08--> 00:44:43

is wearing shoes that are so hot, that his demand his brain is boiling, not just the blood, his actual brain is boiling, that the issues are so hot. We take a look refuges This is the lowest person the firehouse, what do you think we'll be asking? And I will thought it was the one that is beginning that has been given the least punishment, no one will give will get a lesser punishment that will punish and this is a special intercession that the purpose of it is because we are not allowed to intercede for any wishes as a prophet below the sun because he is a prophet I because I will help him so much. Okay, Allah subhanaw taala accepted a slight a small decision not to remove

00:44:43--> 00:45:00

the firehouse not to forgive his sins, but to give them the least amount of punishment. And even that punishment is so severe, we take a lot of refuge from that. Okay, we finished with a special intersection of the pockets of the law and we move on to the general education that the angels share the price the lever share all the profit share and the profit

00:45:00--> 00:45:32

I'm it's a little book and it also has, in other words, everyone that is pious. So Naresh has mentioned the Shaheed some we've never even mentioned the what has been like before on pious people basically the angels, the prophets, all of the prophets, including the Prophet on this listener and the pious, they share these type of intersections. These are also categories, the first category or the first intersection. Again, you might want to write this down This is very useful. The first intersection and this is the general intersection, which Allah will grant if these two conditions are met. In other words, if Allah has given you the right to intercede, then you will have the right

00:45:32--> 00:46:08

entity, and he will tell you who you can intercede for, okay, if these two conditions are met, this is a general ledger session, which all of the prophets, all of the angels, all of the pious believers, if Allah wills, they will be allowed to, okay, the first type of intercession underneath this is to intercede on behalf of those peoples that have entered the fire of health to be removed from it before their time expires. In other words, a person was sinful, he was a Muslim, but he was sinful. He entered the firehouse. So a relative is a pious relative of his oil, pop in the hummus, listen, because he also has a major stake a major decision in this thing, or the other prophets for

00:46:08--> 00:46:43

their peoples or the angels. Okay, they will intercede on behalf of certain people that have entered the firehouse to be removed before their time expired. Suppose your furniture was 4000 years past ad after 500 years, there will be accepted and there'll be a lot to remove from the fireplace, the first category, we don't have the time to call the evidence is just by yourself and inshallah later on, you can look up the evidence. The second category is to divert certain groups of people that have been ordained that they're going to go to house that they are removed from hell before they even enter it. So on the Day of Judgment, Allah has decreed that this person is going to go to

00:46:43--> 00:46:58

house, okay, it is possible that alone might accept the intercession of an angel or the prophet or a pious person, a relative of his, he might accept their confession that he was decreed to go to hell, but because of that person's intercession, that decree was changed and he was allowed to intragenic

00:47:00--> 00:47:01

clear, let's get to the questions at the end.

00:47:04--> 00:47:16

Yes, everyone's General, as long as obviously there are Muslims, you know, so hated is in their hearts. Obviously, you should, should negate any intercession, you can never execute on behalf of a Muslim. Okay? The third general type of intercession is when

00:47:18--> 00:47:53

certain people, their evil deeds and their good deeds are equivalent, their scale are exactly in the middle, they have balanced their evil in good deeds. Okay. So certain people or certain angels or certain prophets might intercede on their behalf, to cause them to agitate. So they're, we're going off from the worst to the best case scenario, right? The one who entered into paradise, the fire of health, the one who was supposed to enter the fire of hell, but he was diverted. He's the one who's basically weights are in balance, I mean, his his knees on or his skills are exactly imbalanced, someone might intercede for him to estrogen. The fourth and the last category of the general

00:47:53--> 00:48:26

intercession is to and this is a very common This one is probably one of the most common sense of intercession that many of the believers will be able to get because the one on itself mentioned this is to intercede for your relatives or your wife or your children or your brothers or your father to be raised in the ranks of gender to be to be in the same rank as you. So they have entered gender, okay. But suppose your wife was in a lower category or vice versa, or your father or your brothers or your close friend, it is possible if you are a truly pious person and Allah allows you to intercede that you will be you will be allowed to intercede for their behalf to be raised in

00:48:26--> 00:48:34

general, so that they are in the same rank or level as you Okay, and this is mentioned to a number of reasons One was that we go on to the next chapter in

00:48:36--> 00:49:12

chapter number 18. A lot of the Almighty says very early you guys not whom you like, but a lot of guys whom He wills and he knows best those who are the Goddess. Okay, in this verse, Allah subhana wa Tada. Basically, the point of this chapter, is to once again reinforce or show you the status of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam know no one loves the puppet more than we do. No one respects the puppet more than we do. That is why we did not put his position above what he deserved, normally predisposition lower than what he deserved. In this chapter, the author is now diverting funding from the concept of ship ass, and he is showing you that even the Prophet Muhammad

00:49:12--> 00:49:47

Sallallahu wasallam, cannot guide whom He wills, a lot doesn't hold on, you do not guide whom he will, whom you will, but rather Allah guides who he will write, you cannot guide who you love. You cannot say the people that are close to you, or was the one that gets it. So if the Prophet Muhammad Allah said that he is who he is, cannot guide those that he loves. Is there any point in asking him for Shahzad directly? Is there any point for voice for him for help without even guys people that he loves? And like we mentioned before, he cannot prevent punishment from falling upon people that he loves? Even if he wasn't not allowed? He could not remove the punishment, you could only lessen the

00:49:47--> 00:49:53

punishment. Okay, so this chapter seeks to show you the status of the Prophet Mohammed Salah low it says that the Prophet of Allah

00:49:54--> 00:49:59

even though he was the most noble and the greatest and the leader of the children of Adam, he is still a human being

00:50:00--> 00:50:05

If not a guy who does not possess the right attributes, so he cannot die who he must. Okay.

00:50:08--> 00:50:50

In this will hear him say he has reported from his father. When death approached Abu pilots, Allah's Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came to him and found out the lagna in Romania, and I will gentle in his company, the profitable long it with him said, Oh, uncle, say there is no true God except a last word, which will enable me to plead for you with him. And the two of them said, Would you forsake the religion of your father of the mill flooded, the profit risk, deposits are large and repeated the request, and the two of them also repeated their questions. The final word of avatar that was about being on the religion of Abdullah most brothers, and he refused to say la ilaha

00:50:50--> 00:50:53

illAllah, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

00:50:54--> 00:51:32

but I still continue to pray for your forgiveness as long as I am not prohibited to do so. It was then that Allah the Almighty revealed the verse, it is not proper for the prophet and those who believe to ask God's forgiveness for the mushrikeen even though they be of kin, a lot also revealed concerning I will call him very early you guide not whom you like, but a lot of guys whom he will and he knows best those who are guided, okay, this verse or this incident, this headache, shows you or informs your tells you about the reason that this verse was revealed, the reason that you did not go home and please but Allah guide to me will was revealed. And that is that I will call it and I

00:51:32--> 00:52:03

will thought it was the one that the processor loves the most of is somebody that were not Muslim, okay. And this was a natural love, it was not a religious love, because you're not allowed to religiously, love any person. Even if your father is a non Muslim, you're not allowed to love him a religious love, you can love him a natural love. So we're going to get to that in a later chapter. But the point is that he loves him greatly, because he loved him so much he wants it to guys. So when he found out that everybody was on his deathbed, this is before his death in the sense that this is before the pangs of death starts, because when the pangs of discards and doba or repentance

00:52:03--> 00:52:38

is not accepted. So this is right before when you see that the signs of death are upon a person, but he is not in the last threshold of life. Because when a person is in the very last stages of life is dobos. Or his repentance is not accepted, as you know. So right before he died, you can say like a few minutes or half an hour, whatever, right before he died, he came to a halt. Unfortunately, a botnet had within presence to have the greatest enemies to the Fokker hubitat Division of Islam, Abu jihad, and I believe in IV omega. Okay, at that time, they were the greatest enemies to Islam, and they also had a lot of respect in the Quran. Okay, so he ignored their presence. And he said, Oh, my

00:52:38--> 00:53:04

uncle, or my uncle say now in the last, killing you the importance of districts, they love to hide the loss. This is going to be a word that I can have some argument or some proof to help you on the day of judgment to help you against the punishment of almost nine out of 10 images, just one word that I can have some type of supports to save you from the punishment of health on the Day of Judgment, just they just laid out in the last. Now when the Abuja whenever

00:53:05--> 00:53:18

they heard the profit from the last set of command, which I have this command double thought of this excuse me, they both told him Are you going to turn away from the religion of Optimus politics, so they knew exactly how to misguide him. And you have to realize that those times

00:53:20--> 00:53:49

ancestral pride, the pride of their forefathers, was something that the Arabs had greatly. And unfortunately, many Muslims today, if you quote them something this has been added to innovation, this is should there is a Who are you to tell me my father was incorrect. I saw my father doing this. Okay. And this is exactly what they wish to get older. And if everyone used this excuse, the Jews and the Christians and all of these would never, they would never convert itself. If they use the excuse of the machine again, Allah has blessed you with an intellect just like aggressive body with an intimate with your father was intimate. If your father made a mistake, are you going to make

00:53:49--> 00:54:15

the same mistake again? No. So these people who unfortunately they knew exactly how to disguise our thoughts, and they said, Are you dare? Are you going to dare to turn away from the religion of your father I've done with buddies. So when the prophet SAW kind of heard them say this, once again, he tried to convince him, oh, I will say that in one word, one statement that I can use as a proof to help you on the Day of Judgment. Once against the two people repeated what

00:54:16--> 00:54:50

they repeated what they have said, Are you going to leave the religion of your forefathers or of your forefathers and the religion of your father, I've done both but it and then he died. The last thing that he said was he was upon the division of political parties. In other words, this is a clear, explicit statements that have been that's a body of guide in the state of ships. And this reputation of the she has, every single she advisor was not just the extremists, everyone believes that everybody dies as a Muslim, whereas the Quran itself clearly says you do not guide whom you love, rather Allah guide. And this verse is in reference to a robot that the Prophet was in was not

00:54:50--> 00:55:00

able to guide a move on it, even though he loved him so much. Rather Allah guides whom He pleases. So the Prophet says that a werewolf on a dice, he said of a shorty, I'm going to ask for your for

00:55:00--> 00:55:13

Given this until Allah forbids me, because at that time Allah had not forbade the Muslims to ask forgiveness for the machine. He had it was allowed at that time. So when the Prophet said said this right after while Allah subhanaw taala revealed this was

00:55:14--> 00:55:48

sort of toga, which is actually one of the last words to be revealed a lark and how does it reveal it is not proper, it is not allowed for the Prophet himself, or those who believe, to seek forgiveness for them, we should again, even if they are close kin, you can ask forgiveness for shifts. the sin of shift is so great if your father or mother was his icon instead of shift and we think a lot of us you cannot ask forgiveness to them. Like the father sets, I asked Allah to seek forgiveness for my mother's your son, this is insane. Listen, I asked Allah to seek forgiveness for love and he refused me this permission. And I asked Allah to visit her grave and he loved me.

00:55:50--> 00:56:27

So even the Prophet Mohammed Salah says he is who he is, could not seek forgiveness for those that he loves so dearly like his mother and his uncle, once does this show you this shows you the gravity and the dangers of shift when even the prophets have been refused permission. Forget about being accepted, he has been refused permission to seek forgiveness for those that have imagined the gravity and the dangers of descent of ship over and over again, these people that are committing ships, whether it is with idols, whether it is with the Prophet Muhammad suffering, what it is with the Sufi ship, they don't understand the gravity of the sin, that the property has been refused

00:56:27--> 00:56:31

permission, I can't even say I have suffered a lot from my mother, and for my uncle.

00:56:32--> 00:57:07

So imagine now and the point of this chapter, though, is that study showing you that the process of harm could not guide will be lost. No guidance is from illustrator with data. Now, before we move on to the next chapter, I'd like to point out that guidance is of two types. guidance is of two types. And although we should understand this, because this will remove many doubts and misconceptions that people have, there's a type of guidance in which you show the person the way you show the person, the weight of the truth. In other words, you go to a non Western or you think Islam says this Islam says this is the concept of Oh, hey, you have guided him in a way, but you have not really guided

00:57:07--> 00:57:40

him in another way. You have guided him in a sense you have shown him this is a path. This is in the hands of everyone to talk them out of them and all of them listen. The second type of guidance is actual physical or spiritual guidance in which a person actually convert to Islam. This type of guidance only Allah subhanho wa Taala can get it. Okay. So for example, a lot doesn't hold on, and you guys to the straightaway, Nicaragua de la silahkan, was telling you guys to the straight path. In another verse, this verse, Allah says, you do not guide whom you love, for how do we call How do you reconcile these two verses? Okay, how do we reconcile these two verses, you know, as

00:57:42--> 00:57:44

we just mentioned, is how do we reconcile these two verses

00:57:45--> 00:58:19

in the one verse, the pump is another thing, a lot of something the Prophet you cannot guide who you love, in the second verse, Allah Thank you guys, everyone to the straight path. Hardly with this, obviously, it's talking about the two different types of guidance. In other words, you can guide the people in the sense you can show them the guidance, this is a straight path, this is a hold on, this is a fitness, this is a job, but you cannot change your heart, you cannot physically spiritually guided is that that guidance is only from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So every single one of them can show the guidance to mankind. But no one including the prophets can actually spiritually guide them

00:58:19--> 00:58:19

in their hearts.

00:58:22--> 00:58:29

Chapter number 19, excessive dogma and the righteous person is the root cause of infidelity, of

00:58:31--> 00:58:35

infidelity of mankind, and it's deviation from the truth of the true religion.

00:58:37--> 00:58:38

Transition

00:58:39--> 00:59:20

chapter number 19. And this is one of the most important chapters in cadavers to hate, because this is the basis of shading in 99% of all show scenarios, the basis of shifts in almost every single scenario should take place. Is this chapter 19. Chapter 19. is concerning the evidence is that the primary cause I'm translating in my own translation, I don't like it. translation, the primary cause for the disbelief of the children of Adam, is that they leave their religion and they exaggerate in the status of the pious people of the saints, the primary cause, Chapter concerning the evidence is that the primary cause of shift and of course, the primary cause of disbelief of the children of

00:59:20--> 00:59:27

Adam, is that they leave the religion that are revealed to them, and they exaggerate the status of the saints and the pious people know

00:59:31--> 00:59:40

the statement of Allah the Almighty most exalted, O People of the Scripture, do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allah, anything but the truth.

00:59:41--> 00:59:44

And in this law, he is now best all the time oma.

00:59:46--> 01:00:00

In this verse, Allah subhanho wa Taala describing the Christian is describing the Christians or Jews both of them, yeah. Old people of the Scriptures, meaning the Jews and the Christians. Lack of Oulu see the nickel. Don't exaggerate in your religion.

01:00:00--> 01:00:32

Don't go beyond the balance in your religion. What are the hoodoo Allah in the talks? And don't make statements concerning a lot of substitutes? Don't make statements concerning a lot based upon your desires. I feel this, I think that this also does reasonably so many of us should be careful. We shouldn't say well, how can it be allowed in Islam? Well, I feel detached to be religious. This you're speaking about a low without knowledge. Okay, we should say we don't know. Go to an island, go to student knowledge and ask, don't make rulings don't make statements about a loss from your own head. And this is Apollo, the Jews and the Christians don't speak about a lot except with truth. And

01:00:32--> 01:00:46

then Allah talks about what he's referring to that barely the Messiah, Jesus, the sound of marriage is a messenger of a loss is not the sound of a lust is the Messenger of Allah and a word that he gave to marry and a spirit proceeding from him. What is the word in mind?

01:00:47--> 01:00:48

Could be what is the Spirit?

01:00:52--> 01:01:30

The Holy Spirit, what is the Holy Spirit? Do you know? The angels you believe? So Allah subhana wa tada sent the angels debrief to be up to millions. And he said, we've heard the word kenema. The code though the word code, and this code was the cause of return. And code is not racist. If you don't understand that, don't worry about it now, but just write another one. That couldn't was the cause of ASAP. And coding is not a PSA. The standard color code means v. Code is the Arabic word for B. And it is Allah says we don't desire something except that we say to a B, and it is good fire code. So good was the cause of Isa. And Kuhn is not a good is a statement of Allah. It's a word of

01:01:30--> 01:01:42

Allah. It's an attribute of a state that is a creation of a law. So there are two different things. Okay. The point is, a lot of the author in this by quoting this verse is talking about the ship of the Christians, what is the ship of the Christians based upon

01:01:43--> 01:02:23

exaggerating the status of one of the mightiest messengers of God? You realize we mentioned the five mighty messengers of Gods north, Ebrahim Moosa is that and he is one of the five mightiest messengers of God. And on the Day of Judgment, he will not even be able to mention a sin of his, he will not even be able to mention anything that he did. This was how mighty and how powerful that he is, he is of the market and the most blessing. But the problem is that the Christian took him above his status, the Christians exalted him to a status way above what he deserved. And by doing that, they gave him up to this of divinity. They said that because of him, our sins are forgiven. And our

01:02:23--> 01:02:32

prayers are accepted through him, elements pray to Him, and they gave him out would have been led to status as a son of God. The point is, I remember when I was in talks that I was giving a lecture.

01:02:33--> 01:02:52

Box, none of it was really a lunch unfortunately, full of * and full of data. And I say that by experience, everyone knows this. And I told them that even asking the Prophet so so this is just a person, my cousin got very angry. He said, How dare you compare the socket to idols? How can you compare the puppet to an eyelid to say that is just like she's telling you what the Christians?

01:02:53--> 01:03:25

Tell me what the Christians believe in the sin that they have fallen into? Those the Christians do the exact same thing with their prophets, and doesn't look closer at CIC? Do you believe in Jesus Christ as a prophet of grace? Yes, of course. Was he not the one of the best prophets of Gods? Yes, of course, can you not exaggerate his status? Because Allah calls the worship of Jesus Christ. And he calls the people of the books that they're going to go to 500 Let's accept Islam. For just like the Christians, the over exalted status of Jesus, it is also possible for the Muslims to obey as often as possible.

01:03:26--> 01:03:29

Okay, you understand where we're coming from here? Okay.

01:03:33--> 01:03:35

Everybody's talking on the phone. Let me just read the next

01:03:36--> 01:03:54

verse that the author post that in the comments on the verse, and they have said, You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave what goes to x nor Yahoo, nor Yahoo, nor necess. Okay, this is the next verse that the author quoted in this chapter. That is, now Bucky interpreted

01:03:55--> 01:04:33

a verse original for us, that he said that you will not leave your gods and you will not leave what or Suba, or your voice or your ohana. So these are five names. These names in that that said, in the narration, these are the names of some righteous persons, or some righteous people from Noah's people, familiar tribes, when they pass away shavon inspired their people to set up to set up statues and their honors, and set them in their gathering places. In other words, capon came to them and whisper to them, to draw images and to draw icons of these pious people, and to place these icons in their gathering places and their place of worship. And to give these statues the names of

01:04:33--> 01:04:59

those departments for just like what was enabled by sources, when he died, the people that built an idol that looked just like him, and they called it what, they did this, but they did not worship them. So they made the idol. They made the statues. They made these images, but they didn't worship them because they knew that they were human beings. They did not worship them, until those people that died. It was the first generation they died and they passed away. And the knowledge of the origins of these items was forgotten after the knowledge

01:05:00--> 01:05:42

These of the origin of these items were forgotten. After that they worship them. What is this incident talking about? Basically, this incident is talking about when North came to his people, he found the worshipping five idols, and know that these five idols was their first title ever to exist in mankind, to the history of mankind. In other words, no * was committed before these five vitals existed. It had been stated that up to other generations, for 10 generations that people will have harmful heat for 10 generations, after Adam and 10 generations after him, that people were upon peurto hates children did not exist. So how the ships creep into this, how the ship starts. What

01:05:42--> 01:05:55

happens, these five people went and sue us and Yahoo, and Yahoo, and NASA, these five people, they were pious people, if you like, they were scholars, they were safe, whatever you want to call them. They were pious people that used to worship a lot when they died. What did people do?

01:05:56--> 01:06:30

there? People said, Why don't we build their images? Why don't we build this statue? Why don't we do something to represent them, so that these people can remind us of the good deeds that they used to do so that we worship Allah subhanho wa Taala. So they didn't build them to worship these idols. They didn't build them to make them entire. They built them to serve as a memory jogger, if you'd like to remind them of the pious acts that these people used to do. So for a number of generations, these idols are these not even over at this point, these icons they stood, but they were not worshipped as a generation what advice to people forgot what the purpose of these idols were?

01:06:31--> 01:06:48

associates on came to them, and said, do not know what these things are. They said no chiffon told them. These are idols that your forefathers used to worship for you to worship them. So they started worshiping them, so inauthentic people, he found these five piles. Okay. The point is, the point of this chapter is that

01:06:49--> 01:07:25

the process through which kick started was by exalting the pious people, by exalting the saints by exalting the Sufi worshipers that existed in the past. And that exists today, by exalting people that are pious and holy. But when you exhaust them, when you give them a status above what they deserve, then you might fall into shape. And this is a basis of shifts, look at the shift that is rampant in the Muslims today. Like I said, 9980, even 100%. Well, I don't know any Muslim right now, that actually does this as a two o'clock, I says this luck is my creative. And yet, if you go to Pakistan and India, and Egypt and Syria and so many countries, you find people worshipping grave

01:07:25--> 01:07:37

worshipping pious people, quote, unquote, pious people calling out on the names of the saints. In other words, this aspect of ship to exalt the status of the pious people, and read the mystical things done.

01:07:38--> 01:08:17

There's no claim said that most of our predecessors have stated after the death of the righteous person they can find, as their graves and made statues and after much time passed, they started worshipping them. In other words, the worship did not start immediately after they made these icons, rather, the worship started after a number of generations. Okay, the worship of these people they started after the icons will go, and this is why many of them as they prohibit even those that allow photographs, many say if it's a photograph of a person, that is of a high nature, or a high status amongst people such as other hearts, okay. And such as these type of people, it is prohibited to

01:08:17--> 01:08:50

take their photographs, even those that allow it there is a difference for you. Because any photograph, you notice, even those that allow photographs, many of them they say that if it's a picture of a of a person that is considered a saint by people, this is prohibited. And if you go to any other honey house, or any other honey restaurants or any other honey store, even at 711 you're going to find a big picture of alcohol with Garland's and woods, you know, and I can tell has any Sufi saint? I've seen this even sort of stuff other my relatives houses, that you walk into their house and you find a big picture, you ask Who is this, it goes into Zacchaeus. And they have his

01:08:50--> 01:09:22

picture Garland's with roses, and they have the you know, they might even offer instances of pure breakage chips, just like the man who gave the flights to that idol and was entered in the firehouse. This is exactly what they're doing to this picture. They're making it into an icon. So the point is that we have to be extremely careful when it comes to religious people, religious scholars, that we don't exalt them above their status. Of course, this means this doesn't mean that we don't mention the names after that, for example, you have the values that he passed away recently. We paid him and we extol him, but we draw the line. We are careful how much we praise Him.

01:09:22--> 01:09:38

We don't go too extreme about his praise. He was a human being and we hope the best for him and this and despite what he used to do, and we hope the best for him in the archives, but we don't you know over exalted status, we don't we make sure that our love for the real good enough does not lead us to shift.

01:09:39--> 01:09:41

With that. There's one more thing that's actually

01:09:42--> 01:09:59

I'm gonna do a couple of the loveline who is reported to have said that a lot of messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Do not exaggerate in praise of me just as the Christians exaggerated in the praise of Jesus, the son of Mary. I am but a slave. So call me a lot of slaves and His Messenger

01:10:00--> 01:10:18

Love messenger colada. So in this had this this is a portable hottie and was from Osaka and this Hadith, the prophet Mohammed, both of them is x, this elite prohibiting the Muslims from excessively praising him. Don't praise me Don't excessively praise me just like the Christians did to the son of Mary. Don't do this why?

01:10:20--> 01:10:21

why Paul knows.

01:10:23--> 01:11:01

It needs to shift, just like the Christians are doing instead of marriage, this leads to shift. The Prophet is only a messenger of God, he is not God, we love him and we give ourselves and our lives for him and our mothers and fathers maybe the sacrifice enhancer for him, but he is still a prophet. He is not God. For the Prophet Sultana, saying, don't praise me, like the Christians praise us and of marriage. rather say that I am a slave and I'm a slave of Allah. And what is it abdulsalami we talked about this, the perfect worship of Allah, I am the one that worship Allah, meaning I am one that worship not the one to be worshipped. I am one that worship How can anyone worship Me, I am the

01:11:01--> 01:11:16

one that worship Allah still worship Me, I am a slave, I am a servant, to say that I am the servant of Allah and His messenger. Abdullah you what a suitable and we said that goes to extremes are negated by saying I believe was sued if you remember the two extremes are negated.

01:11:20--> 01:11:54

Exactly the two extremes that are that you claim that he is above a profit like web for example, they claim that what is he is made out of the Divine Light. They claim that the profit is made out of divine lights, and therefore English there is a theater that exists at the book of Prophet biography. The title of that theater is the Prophet Muhammad, the shadow of his prophet, the shadow this prophet. Why because he was like, in and of itself, apparently, of course, the prophet doesn't matter shadow. This is proven in many areas. But the point is these but it is in many of the exalts of that level of the promises that are much more than what they deserve and they give him divine

01:11:54--> 01:12:27

status. The Prophet says in the Quran, Allah says in the Quran, I am only a human being in them and a bishop I am only a human being. And the various comments I know he is not just me is made out of like, he is about being a human being. Okay. And the validity This is such a ridiculous thing that shows own ignorance. One of them I met he said that, how dare you say that the process of went to the bathroom? He never went to the bathroom? Okay? The algorithms of nervous that he went to the restroom and they never did. How does he watch himself in the narrative how to wipe ourselves out of love? Did you love the process and more than just the hover? Did you see the pocket from unlike the

01:12:27--> 01:12:59

Sahaba does. The father was a human being. Of course, he was the most noble and the best of the human spirit, he was still a human being. He slept, he ate, he drank, he married, he had children, he was a human being. So we avoid the two extremes of the non Muslims who claim that he wasn't the Prophet, we say no, he was the prophet of God and the best of the prophets. And we avoid the extreme of those Muslims and those two things and others, that exalted status, and we take the middle path that the prophets open with the best of this creation, but he was still part of this creation.

01:13:01--> 01:13:11

Hello, Mr. Silva lohani with them said beware of executor. Beware of exaggeration, your predecessors perished on the account of their exaggeration and

01:13:13--> 01:13:30

that's the the author or the author that says the hyperbole method halakhah is more tied up to your own as a district times that the moutoku would have perished them was enough their own have perished. them within their own has perished. Who are the most out of their own them without their own. One of the aspects is

01:13:32--> 01:13:34

extremely extreme.

01:13:36--> 01:13:37

Okay.

01:13:38--> 01:14:11

Are you ready? No, I'm sorry. Excuse me, I skipped I skipped ahead. Is he is he a viewer exaggeration? Obviously, these are surprises what we just say. Beware of exaggerating in anything in anything. Okay. And exaggeration is a sign of the people of the guests beside of the people, the big guys are going to take one aspect ignore all of Islam, whereas as soon as they take everything in perspective, okay, so those are called one Islamic khilafah we have to establish a philosopher we have to become divisors of along this earth, you find that they neglect to hate and ignore the needs of shifts, and they forget what's in it. And they might they don't mind doing do that. Okay.

01:14:12--> 01:14:44

Likewise, those that are made any group out there, you will find that they have exaggerated in some fields, those that are always always always calling for jihad. jihad is a part of a religion, but it has certain conditions. It has certain preconditions, okay, you can't just be a new retention Golden Globe right now this is against our religion. This is against the religious to be terrorists, quote unquote, in this country. This is against their religion. And yet these people spent a building a building and doing this everything, just you had as a part of a religion, but there are certain conditions for it. Don't exaggerate in one thing and ignore everything else. exaggeration, is the

01:14:44--> 01:14:59

root cause of every innovation. Understand this little exaggeration, is the root cause of every innovation. Look at the bakery that extract some of its profits per se. On this one day the 12 that was that supposedly love the profit profit of the most Okay. Are you

01:15:00--> 01:15:26

The rest of the year and I'm not exaggerating, you find them smoking and drinking and not offering their prayers and dinner no matter what's on this one day Subhanallah miraculously, they all love the process and everyone else hates the process. And how about the one who throughout the year follows the profit center throughout the year, he loves to learn his messages throughout the years, he is constant and forever the sudden he's you're gonna choose the beach, and the web is they call everyone decidability a prophet hater. That's exactly the name of

01:15:27--> 01:15:59

the Prophet hater. Every single person, that is not a business they consider to be a prophet hater. As for us, when they call the wahabis, Edison, there was a lot, they consider us go fast, literally, I'm not making this up. They consider us non Muslims. Because a step below we defend the Prophet according to them. And we keep on saying the Prophet says when he is the best of the creation, but we don't exaggerate the distance. Okay? The strange thing is, look at the extreme that they go through many of them, I have been to their gatherings a little bit, I would look at these people, most of them, you will never see them throughout the year in the next year. Throughout the year, you

01:15:59--> 01:16:14

will never even know this guy's a Muslim. And yet on this one day, he's going to come and dance and you know, do whatever he wants to do promises, thinking that this is the love of the prophets, exaggeration. So beware of exaggeration. exaggeration is the root cause of every innovation. The last edition

01:16:15--> 01:16:32

is what hits Muslim on television, the pharaohs will be a loved one who reported that allows messengers for the long run a one set of them said, destroyed or those who are extreme, he said it three times. Likewise, in this howdy the process of repeated three times had to like we said, is that would have been destroyed.

01:16:34--> 01:17:11

Then within up there are those that there are many, many words in English that might discover and without they're nitpicky, they go into extreme details. They go into basically the concept is they go beyond the level that they should they become too nitpicky, or do they go too extreme. Okay, so basically, once again, tying into what we're saying that what is the chapter title Now, what is the point of this chapter is that the basis of most of the ship on the face of the earth is to exhaust the status of the pious people. And we said that we have to be careful when it comes to these type of assets, that we put everyone in his proper place. If he was a person of this enough, its color of

01:17:11--> 01:17:31

this homeless then we praise Him and we defend him but we don't over exalt Him. And we are careful. Even the public as Adam said, don't praise me excessively if we're not allowed to praise the father Mohammed was an excessively then how can we praise other people? How can create other people's successes and this will be talking about ingredient in greater detail also in the following chapters to panic along with a shadow Allah in

01:17:32--> 01:18:07

order to in a first question, for those for those given permission to intercede Is there a specific number of people who they can intercede for? Yes, there is that is the number that Allah subhana wa tada will give us, for example, the Shaheed or the one that died as a martyr, the loss of avocado the prophet SAW Selim said in an authentic hadith, that they should eat and intercede on behalf of 70 people of his family okay. And there is an original Timothy which is slightly weaker than the one who memorized the Quran he can intercede for 10 people of Islam is a slightly weaker Heidi's likewise any person that lots of times either wishes fantasies that he can intercede plus i thought

01:18:07--> 01:18:29

it will come in the amount of the numbers, but there is no specific number that is reported in general that this amounts of people will be interested for. Rather it is open and up to the will and the permission of Allah subhana wa Tada. Now please tell me the Hadith number in which a lot says he Muhammad is for some is the is the one to intercede for mankind. These numbers

01:18:32--> 01:18:33

go ahead

01:18:34--> 01:18:59

and go to the chapter of the intersection of the positive sides of it. I don't remember the actual numbers. This whole long story of they're going to add them and then going to Abraham and going to do everything is reporting Bukhari and Muslim. Go to the calculator profits intersection, go to the day of judgment as a child is a type of book of about the Day of Judgment, you know, and decide the the, the actions that will occur the agenda and there's a chapter title inside the party itself so you can look at that.

01:19:04--> 01:19:07

Question asks, Is it helpful for a Muslim to pray

01:19:09--> 01:19:43

and or give prayer to a non Muslim person who is not a Muslim, and all the Christians consider mushrikeen and we pray for them once they die upon Christianity. It is hallel to pray for a non Muslim in this life that Allah guides him. You can pray for a non Muslim friend, a non Muslim relative a non Muslim but you don't know it doesn't matter. You can pray me Allah guide with Bill Clinton's Islam, okay? We sincerely pray that Allah is not going to guide you know, especially major leaders that it's not because it's going to help Islam, like the promises and embrace that Oh Allah blessed, blessed Islam with one of the tools, one of the tools

01:19:45--> 01:20:00

one of the trouble he shows that one of them was early one of them was a Buddha. Okay want to do a shout out I was. One of them was number one is in the process of specifically pray Allah bless this religion with one of these two minutes because these two men were the most respected. So he prayed for what you

01:20:00--> 01:20:34

Even though he was in Russia at the time, and there was an accepted Islam after the pocket majors, okay, so yes, definitely we are allowed to pray while that non Muslim is alive, what do we pray for we don't pray that likely This is money or give them a job No, there are more important things than this we pray that Allah guides into Islam, okay. And if a close one of the of the relatives die, so, we are not allowed to pray for that relatives if a friend of ours dies and in his own anonymous and after his death, we cannot pray for non Muslims. Allah clearly says in the Quran, like with the words that we put the verse that we mentioned, not counted and maybe he will lead in a sterile field

01:20:34--> 01:20:59

in which they can it is not permissible that's in the profit and those that believes seek forgiveness for them wish to kill. So it is not allowed once the mystic has died to pray for him in any way form or manner or fashion. Nothing You don't say anything about okay while he is alive, you can pray for one thing only and that is that Allah guide after he died, you can only remain quiet nothing the Christians do they come and ship

01:21:01--> 01:21:36

if the Christians will commission who does the Christians definitely our wishes, okay. The difference though is that they are a special category or a special status of moshtix and they are that is keep that that is that many Muslims are confused that the Muslims are only the Hindu worshipers, the idol worshippers know, a mystic is a non Muslim that can shift any person that can shift his emotions, the Christian commission, of course they do. So the Christian arm wishes, but they have a special status. And they are called 100 feet up so we can eat the meat that is slaughtered properly, or we can not either women, or we can take Judea for them. Unlike the Hindus

01:21:36--> 01:22:09

and unlike the idol worshippers, we cannot not reason we cannot eat their meat. And according to the correct opinion, we cannot take jr from this Islamic State. Okay, there's a difference between what the juicy aspects but for sure we cannot marry them. And Easter meat for the added keep us the Jews in the Christian. They are a special status of the koufos a special status of the machico. They are still good folks, and they are still machines. But they have a special status above that of other missionaries. Even though they're all different. They're all going to go into fireball eternally if they don't have to stop the Prophet that's an event that by him in whose hands is my soul, not a

01:22:09--> 01:22:11

single Jew or a Christian, he was about me

01:22:12--> 01:22:26

and died without believing in me, except that he will be in the fire of hell. That is a clear, exquisite Hadees that every Christian or Jew that dies in this state or religious will enter the fire of special messengers which will deliver

01:22:30--> 01:22:35

into the reoccurring question. Can you give examples of minor shirk that applies to cities like

01:22:36--> 01:22:40

my new shirt that applies to today's life. There are many.

01:22:41--> 01:23:15

If you go to a doctor, and you think that he is going to cure you, okay, and it says that he has the power to cure you, through the permission of Allah is the type of mentorship if you say that he's going to kill you, but in and of themselves, this is major shift. But if you put your past right there that this person can have a surety journey, through it all our knowledge or whatever, this is the type of mentorship. If you go to a person or you put your your total trust in, in the sense that this person can save me or protect me, from whatever problem I have. This is a type of issue, the true believer will go to the doctor will go to this person with his trust in Allah. When he goes to

01:23:15--> 01:23:51

the doctors, he knows just like oh my sister, that's don't you cannot harm me. You cannot give me any benefits. But I saw the function of kisser dislike is likewise you go to the doctors in case you did they, you cannot harm me or you cannot cause me any benefits. But Allah Allah has blessed you with a type of knowledge that I don't have. Therefore I go to you not relying on you must realize that I take basically I take as much precautions as I can and getting myself to like was when you go to a policeman or you go to a person to protect you. Your real trust your heart isn't a lesson title. But you realize that Allah has blessed this person with certain things that he has not

01:23:51--> 01:24:07

blessed you with. So basically, it's a very fine line here. It all goes back to your hearts, how you truly feel when you place your trust in this person. When you place your trust in this doctor or this person. These are all types of money shifts. Obviously, money shapes that exist in our time, likewise, is to read the prayer.

01:24:08--> 01:24:22

Once in a matter, they're showing off that you're reading a prayer and someone comes up to you to make your period longer than you make your backyard like the example that we gave you a few days ago, or you sign up for us someone walks in all of a sudden you start resigning with, you know, a lot of

01:24:24--> 01:24:50

on but you call it the desk, that all of a sudden the person comes in and you start shaking your head, I shall your voice becomes like 40 of the boxes. This is Yeah, this is mine is showing off. Okay. So this type of showing off is always going to exist that you show off a religious piece. You're giving money to charity, right? You make sure that you write your check everyone can see it. And it's announced, you know in public that also and they'll donate this much money if you're doing it for the sake of showing off is showing off. Yeah. No.

01:24:51--> 01:25:00

You keep mentioning Pakistan, India, Egypt and Syria and the acts that occur there. What is the relevance of studying these subjects when we do not find many of these things here in America? We do.

01:25:00--> 01:25:35

Find out I mentioned that there is a shrine that is opened up, Muslims have opened up a grave Worship Center in Houston, the Muslims. And I know that you'll find it here. Also, we should understand just because me or you might not be practicing ships personally and humble enough, it is still mandatory for us to know the dangers of ship, it is still mandatory for us to know how dangerous this is. Ibrahim I didn't set up and he is Lee is right in his classes, he is praying to a lower Let's save me from ships. If the sister the brother were here, he attended that class, Ibrahim is playing to a lot of favorable ships. And like you blame it's a one of the some one of the setup.

01:25:35--> 01:25:45

He said, Who can who can feel secure after Abraham, who can feel secure that he's not going to come to the cafe for him. And this is something that the Muslims have to realize is that just because

01:25:46--> 01:26:17

this act of this, you know, supposedly is not present, or we don't need it right now, doesn't mean that we still stood. On the contrary, it's different, even more reason for us to study, it's so that we know it's dangerous. Let me give an example of what happened in certain countries. In the beginning part of the century, when the current when colonialism took over. I think it was Algeria, or some countries, I'm not sure when colonialism took over. Okay, and the Muslims was pure puppets to the powers of the West pure puppets. Their leaders were installed by the West and taken away by the West, not much to do when it's remote control. It was physical control. Okay, today's remote

01:26:17--> 01:26:49

control from far away. But back then it was to control the Italians of the French I think the Italians they had Algeria, the French had, basically the Muslim world was divided like a pack of cards. Most of the people thought after World War One, during this time that scholars permit the ignorant scholars if you like, they said hard. We don't have studied you have any more, because there's never going to be jihad. We are totally powerless. We don't have guns, we don't have weapons. What's the point of that in jihad, so they didn't study jazz. They left this in the book system. Okay, when the next generation came, and the time was you had could actually occurred, and

01:26:49--> 01:27:21

it actually started, they had no idea how to do it. They had no idea how to do it. And to this day, you find extremists in Algeria, for example, right? killing innocent Muslim women and children in the name of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Because they don't know that way, the proper way of doing jihad. So just because something isn't, quote unquote, relevant right now. And I say no, it is relevant. It is relevant, because you see, sure every time you pass by a church official, we're not just talking about the Sufi grave worshipers of India Foxman, every time you pass by a church that is shipped, every time you pass by a Hindu temple, that issue it is present and present all over the

01:27:21--> 01:27:57

world. And even many Muslims are politicians, you think that there are no grades being worshipped in Houston fights, how many trophies exists that call upon the soup eating? How many calories are existed in Houston. Just the other day I went to the doctors house, Doctors Hospital, and I saw this and told us that we learned yesterday, less than 24 hours ago. Don't think that ship doesn't exist ship is routed. Perhaps you don't practice it if somebody laughs But look around you. Every single religion besides that is besides the Islamic community, many Muslims themselves like a lesson. Most of them they don't believe in a lot of stuff that the Commission is wearing that that we believe

01:27:57--> 01:28:12

that that was on the childhood putting something all of this is just don't presume that just because you don't see this, it doesn't exist. And even with even if it doesn't exist, then there's even more reason for studying so that you are aware of it, you are cautious of it and you are careful of falling into shifts now.

01:28:13--> 01:28:19

From what you said, is it how long to celebrate the publicized son's birthday at all? Or can you celebrate it in moderation.

01:28:21--> 01:28:56

It is how long to celebrate the coffee's birthday. This is an exact example of innovation. If the process birthday does not qualify as an innovation that I don't know anything that qualifies as an innovation. And innovation is every act that has been that has been added to the religion of Islam, with the purpose of coming close to Allah subhanho wa Taala when the baby is unbeatable, they celebrate his birthday. They're not doing it to get money. They're not doing it to increase their jobs and they're doing it because they think that they're going to get rewarded by Allah subhana wa Tada. Okay, so to celebrate the prophets birthdays is a pure 110% innovation. There is no doubt

01:28:56--> 01:29:31

there is no room for HDR here. I don't know of any refutable scholar that holds another opinion about this. Yes, of course, you're gonna have the other scholars that there's causes that allow us but no refuels color as intelligent as allow some of these properties per se, in any form or fashion on the 12th. Who what is just like the 11th of the viola as a 13th of April, nothing special about this particular day. And by the way, historically speaking, we don't even know for sure when the Prophet was born. Some people may say he was born the year of the elephant, some people would say was born 1020 years before that, you can always ask Excuse me. People say one or two years after

01:29:31--> 01:29:59

they're the ones we don't even know the year that he was born. And then people said that he was born in Russia. People say that was born in Cuba. That was one of your standing people. He was one of them. We don't even know the month that he was one for sure. And then the date itself. Some people said test some people they fall for this a 14. The point is if you go to the books of history, you find so many different opinions. Yes. The strongest opinion is that he was going to 12 who was in the year of the elephant. Okay, but this is not the only opinion that it sounds. There are many opinions on many, many opinions and in fact, there's a whole booklets

01:30:00--> 01:30:06

Written on the different narrations about profit versus domain, it is related to what we just said. Okay.

01:30:09--> 01:30:49

Next question. I've seen some types of good innovation at such and such messages in such and such city, should I stop going to it? Am I allowed to pray in it? Or am I allowed are not allowed to pray in such a question. They must say that the brother or the sister mentioned is a newly mastered in history of English to the north. And this is the primary question of the very least. Okay, this is the stronghold and the main center of the political system. And I would strongly, strongly, strongly discourage anyone from ever setting foot in that message. Every single prayer of theirs they offer, they offer innovation before and after it. These people, many of them have extreme beliefs. Well,

01:30:49--> 01:31:21

the problem is, is that I'm not calling them classes, I'm not saying they are costly. Please understand, inshallah many of them a Muslim scholar, they're still in the fold of this stuff. But they are an extremely deviated group. Okay. I would, I would strongly discourage any Muslims from ever praying behind them from ever going to the masjid. And if you are at a person's house was barely tried to lead the prayer yourself. I would not even want you to pray behind these types of people. Okay, the extreme political abilities for sure they are really wacky, really out of it. Okay, the minor but it is essential that, you know, they don't really know what you're talking

01:31:21--> 01:31:52

about. Like we say we'll always make a differentiation between the one who is knowledgeable, but one that is calling to his faith and his Aveda. And between the average Muslim woman to differentiate with the Shiites to just make a differentiation between the average guy who doesn't know his own religion, he was just going through the family. Of course, be gentle, be kind, but just try to guidance. As for the one who is knowledgeable and knows that fit inside out. This is the one that be aware of and be cautious and don't even mess with, you know, the posits instead, remember, we talked about the taboo this isn't always the pocket phenom said, a person is upon the religion of expense,

01:31:52--> 01:31:55

to be careful who you choose, as your friend. No, don't go to this.

01:31:57--> 01:32:06

Me personally, me personally, if there are no matches around me, except the metric of the Shias and the machines or the babies. I would be personally Okay, I will not go.

01:32:07--> 01:32:09

Of course try the guidance. Of course.

01:32:11--> 01:32:33

They will not accept you anyway. And this is an extremely deviated group strike me personally, I would not even go to the masjid. Even though when I was a teenager, I wanted the chairman to attend the mahatama number of times, actually. But that was what I didn't realize just to see what they were doing beating themselves and you know, getting an elevator, they beat themselves, you know, I didn't see any of that shock. So because in fact, some of the actually have many trucks with knives and

01:32:34--> 01:32:36

anyone, okay.

01:32:37--> 01:33:12

Since we're not allowed to celebrate our children's birthdays, can we take some Friday out of the year since Friday is a Muslim aid, to invite their friends and have a party for them, celebrating children's birthdays is an act of the non Muslim, okay. And celebrations in general comes under religion, because apart from when he came to Medina, he found the people, they had two days of celebration. And this celebration, by the way, was not a religious day. Why the proof for this is that the Jews and the house and the husband, the mosquito Medina, they would come together on this day, it wasn't a religious celebration, these two days that they had to in the process and then came

01:33:12--> 01:33:32

he said Allah has substituted two days better than these two days. And he forbade them from those two days. And he gave them either apostrophes or celebrations in general, they fall under it's not celebration for a specific reason, such as a birthday, they fall under Islam, if you just call people to your house to have food, this is not a celebration, okay, this is fine just doesn't want any innovation. But to celebrate

01:33:33--> 01:34:06

some type of incident like this that we have taken from the non Muslims. This falls under innovation because the our pious predecessors are set up the Sahaba, who the scholars is passing, never did. The first Muslims, the celebrity birthdays, took it from the Cathars. Within this century, I don't know the history of this act. But within the century, they took this celebration, and they started taking it from the non Muslims to do it. So I would say even what the sister said, you should you should tell your children you should instruct your children upon the correct belief that having birthdays is not of our culture, it is of their culture. And in fact, to have birth is effective

01:34:06--> 01:34:07

rather.

01:34:09--> 01:34:39

And you should realize that every year that goes by you one year closer to death. So instead of celebrating, you should ponder over what that year has done to you every year that goes by your one year closer to death, every year that your child's life goes by. That is one year of his life that he has wasted. How much hold on has he learned how much has he learned? How much of his time has he learned, instead of celebrating you shouldn't cry on that day? That what how much time have I wasted? You know what, I'm not telling you to take this as the apprentice thing. Even common sense wise, no first days are definitely not a part of our religion at this time. And this is the opinion

01:34:40--> 01:34:45

of the major enemy of our time. You mentioned that some Muslims do shift what is their position as far as email?

01:34:46--> 01:34:59

So I was asked this question yesterday or two days ago. Is that ignorance an excuse for sure. You know, is ignorance an excuse for sure. And I know that there are two major opinions yes or no. I know that some of them are they say that if a Muslim does major shift, not mine.

01:35:00--> 01:35:30

Just major shifts that he calls upon other than a law school he makes a draft rather than a loss or he puts supernatural love and fear other than a loss. Okay? This person is considered a non Muslim and ignorance is not an excuse, and he's not going to be very integrated out of the movement and his wife will automatically be divorced from it and that his money would must be inherited all of these things that he's not treatable when he dies, he has not giving it back all of these things. Some of them I say, other than they say that ignorant is an excuse. If you see a person who says that in Allah Mohammed little silver This is the key for Christian as a Christian as a captain, no doubt

01:35:30--> 01:36:01

about it. Okay, the Christians and the Jews and those that are openly not Muslim, we treat them openly as non Muslims best practice. We're talking about now Muslim to say that Allah Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah, and yet they come with an asset as an act of shift, do they have an excuse or not because of ignorance, some of them I say, Yes, they do. And that So, when you see a Muslim community shift, then you should go to in a nice and polite manner, okay, start off gently with him explained to him the dangers and the gravity of should explain to him the error of his ways and then guide them to the trade path, once you have established the

01:36:02--> 01:36:30

proof against them after this issue calculations, so suppose you're worshipping idols, you have tried and you have tried and tried to convince them and you have caught him upon a guy and you know, you are sure that he understands it. Okay. you ensure that he understands the dangers and he still does does that. Then cut off your ties with him? After that, you know, as you're calling him a catheter, not obviously he's doing an active corpus, but a lot of you don't mean like I said, you will never have a different opinion about this issue. So basically stated,

01:36:31--> 01:36:35

according to the second pillar, Mr. Dooley is doing a major
