Fiqh of Hajj Episode 2 – Virtues of Dhul Hijjah

But if we can just delve a little bit into more details, I know, you know, what is better the 10 days of the hedger or the last 10 nights of Ramadan? You know, how can we manage it? Yeah, so the there are a number of the scholars have looked at this issue in some great detail. And they've said that the days of the ledger are better than the days of the last 10 days of Ramadan. But the last 10 nights are better than the nights of the ledger.

Why is that? They mentioned a few reasons. They say that the last 10 nights of Ramadan are better than the first 10. Okay, for those who are performing hajj, it is permissible, it is permissible for them to fast however, we know that there are authentic hadith that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam did not fast on that day. For this reason, we know that they're the messenger so I said them did not fast on this particular day of of Arafa. If a person does so then it is allowed for them and the fast is valid.
