Roaming Ramadan #21 Uhud Loves us – Madinah – Uhud – Saudi Arabia

To my brothers, my sisters in Islam.

Another episode of Roaming Ramadan,

lessons on the road here in the beautiful

city of the prophet

in Madinah,

specifically

at the mountain

of Uhud

and the archers hill.

And as I'm standing here, I'm

recalling the battle of Uhud and how it

was in the favor of the Muslims

initially

until

the people who were guarding

the Muslims, basically the archers who the prophet

told him to hold your positions

even if we were winning the battle. Even

if you saw us celebrating the victory,

do not move from your position.

Because they have seen the Muslims were

overpowering the disbelievers

during the battle of Uhud,

they thought that that's it. The battle is

over. But they did not get any instruction

from the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, the

leader, to leave their positions. And as a

result, what happened is, as you can see,

this is part of the mount of, mountain

of Uhud.

So people came the enemies came from behind

the mountain seeing the Muslims left have left

their positions,

and the Muslims were ambushed in the middle

between

the archers

and between the Mount of Uhud. The lesson

is, my brothers and sisters in Islam, when

you

believe in your leaders, those who are

instructing you towards goodness,

so long as they are preaching Allah's words

and the messages of Allah's words and teachings,

stick to their

leadership.

Try to do your job to the best

of your ability. You may disagree with them.

They may annoy you. You may not like

their characters. Whatever the case may be, so

long as you all work for the same

cause, don't ever go against them unnecessarily. Otherwise,

a disaster

like the disaster of Uhud may happen because

what happened is initially we were we were

winning the battle. We were overpowering our enemies.

But,

after disobeying the leader,

the,

70 of the companions of the prophet sallallahu

alaihi wasallam were killed. 70 of the most

popular, most,

important companions were killed, and one of them

is the uncle of the prophet Hamza

ibn Abdul Muqtalid. May Allah be pleased with

him. Later, we'll come closer

and show you a

scene of the graveyard of the shohada of

Uhud, which all of them were buried behind

me. I will we'll go and and see

them inshallah. But, the beauty of this mountain

as we have seen so many mountains in

Madinah, but this is the only mountain during

the day you feel like it's a little

bit of reddish

in color, unlike other mountains that are a

bit darker when you look at them closely.

And, subhanallah, the prophet Muhammad said that this

mountain, the mountain of Uhud,

it loves us

and we love it. The prophet

attributed

an emotion

to an inanimate

object like the mountain.

Now you may wonder how a mountain, an

inanimate

object,

you know, collection of rocks, how could it

love or have that ability to love? Now

we may not understand this at all because

the prophet

also in his seerah,

there is a trunk tree that cried

when, he left its side,

when the Muslims built a pulpit in the

Masjid of Madinah.

They heard the cry of a tree. How

could a a tree cry? We don't know.

These are some of the miracles that Allah

subhanahu wa ta'ala

gave to the believers to

reassure their faith, to give them comfort that

you are upon the truth. The mountain of

Uhud was talked to by the prophet, prophet,

One day, the prophet was on the top

of the mountain. During the battle of Uhud,

he, Omar Ibn Khattab

may Allah be pleased with him as well

as,

Abu Bakr Sadiq And

the mountain shook, and some of the scholars

say the mountain shook a little bit because

it was very happy that

these personalities

are upon it. And the prophet said

Be still,

oh, for upon you is a prophet referring

to himself and a siddiq, an honest, a

truthful person, and that's Abu Bakr

was Shahidan and 2 martyrs.

And this was a reference to Umar al

Khattab who passed away, who was killed

while he leading the Fajr prayer in the

masjid of the prophet and

of man ibn Affan. May Allah be al

Qizr alimu was surrendered

by hypocrites,

and he was murdered. May Allah

accept

the

the effort of the early generation

who brought Islam to us and did not

leave us in the dark and cared about

the personal gains. Rather, they care only about

the message of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And

as a result, we come here day after

day, week after week, month after month, year

after year. People come and visit and see

those sites where Islam became victorious.

The station which brought Islam into existence,

So my brothers, my sisters in Islam,

this is the site of the shuhada of

Uhud, those martyrs who were killed during the

battle of Uhud.

Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib is

one of the shuhada,

and they were all buried here together. And

inshallah, on the day of judgment, they would

be resurrected together

for.

We greet them as the prophet taught us.

Peace be upon you, all inhabitants of the

grave among the believers,

males and females.

You

have gone ahead of us, and we shall

follow

We ask Allah

for yourselves and ours.

Mala'afiyah, forgiveness,

pardoning,

Ameenu Adrani.

We have sacrificed their lives to bring Islam

to us so appreciate their lives, study their

lives, and may Allah
