Salam aleikum. Tonight's name is Al kabhi. Allah subhanho wa Taala is I would can be, either can be or means the greatest, the biggest, the best. And
we think about this name a lot because we say something. Every time that we call the people to prayer and every time that we pray that reminds us of this name of Allah, Allah Allahu Akbar will
say, Allah is Akbar. What does this mean? It's a little bit different from Al Kabir. Allahu Akbar, literally means Allah is greater.
Say, Well, that sounds fine, greater than what
we say it again, Allah hu Akbar.
Allah is greater.
Greater than what? Tell us.
We don't give an answer. When we give the call to prayer, or during the prayer, because Allah is greater than everything.
We don't even
have to begin to talk about all of the things that Allah is greater than Allah is greater than you. Allah is greater than me. Allah is greater than the Earth that we live on. He's greater than the biggest mountain and the universe and the galaxies, everything.
So if we were going to start saying what Allah is greater than we would never end
because the law is greater than everything. And if Allah is greater than everything, then don't you think that when you're in trouble, a lot can help you.
And don't you think that when you're afraid,
a lot can
make you feel not afraid? And a lot can protect you from what you're afraid of.
And if you have a hope, something that you really, really really want.
If Allah is Allah Kabir
Don't you think that a lot can make it happen for you?
That's what I think of when I think of Allah's Name, and it can be and that's it for tonight. Salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah.
