Imagine yourself sitting on a first class flight to anywhere you want to travel to in the world. The air is crisp and clean, the food is good. And the refreshments instant. How would you feel?

I can tell you now if it was me, I wouldn't want that flight to for a difference to Economy Class travel right. Now compare that journey to a journey with the Quran.

Finishing the Quran, Ramadan is a beautiful thing, and we all should do it. But we shouldn't be involved in the process reading faster than our eyes can follow with our hearts connected to completing our target for the day before even begin.

There is a great reward in completing the Quran. But the real reward is in journeying with the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala and the connection you build with it. Make it your friend, something you live and breathe by a companion like no other. I know companion means the same thing as friend. But come on. We all can agree. It sounds fancy.
