judgment and people like to talk about exactly when it's going to happen, and exactly what is taking place. And we see that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when speaking about the Day of Judgment, he told us that we don't know exactly when the Day of Judgment is, this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, la Lama Matata whom, sir in the law, he said, No one knows when the hour will be established, except Allah. But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave us signs of the Day of Judgment. And the point was that we take heed from these signs, and that we learn lessons from these signs. And this is why when jabril la Salam came to the Prophet sallallahu

alayhi wasallam. And he asked him, he said a bit near and he said, he said, Tell me about this era. He said, madam

minister, you He said, The one who is being asked, does not know more than the one who is asking.

And then the Prophet sallallahu nslm goes on to talk about the signs of the Day of Judgment. And you see that when a companion came to the Prophet sallallahu I do send them he said Yasuda, la Mata says mazzara. He said, Well, you look, Ma,

he said, O Messenger of Allah, when is the hour, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Woe unto you, what have you prepared for it? Meaning what are you doing to prepare? Don't worry about when exactly the Day of Judgment is worried about what you're doing to prepare for the Day of Judgment. And this person said, ma de la in LA, De La Hoya Rasulullah. He said, I haven't prepared anything for it, except that I love Allah and His Messenger, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said unto me,

that you will be with those whom you love.

Now, when speaking about the the signs of the Day of Judgment, some scholars collect different lists, and there's different amounts. But there's approximately 50 or so authentically narrated signs of the Day of Judgment. And obviously, I cannot stand here today, and do justice to all 50 or 40, or however many odd signs of the Day of Judgment. So what I wanted to do was I'm going to skip over quickly some of the actual events that have taken place, the minor signs, the day of judgment, for example, the opening of Jerusalem, which happened in the time of arrival, the Allahu taala. And the plague that happened in the 18th year of his era when close to 25,000. Muslims died, and other

signs and other events that took place. For example, some of the comings of the false prophets, I'm not really going to get into that I'm not really going to get into specific events, but rather things that apply to us directly. And the only specific events that I'm going to talk about today are two events that I think are very, very important for us. The first is the coming of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa send them the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Where is to enter Sarah cotton. He said, I and the day have to end the day of judgment have come like this and he put up his two fingers, meaning they are that close. So we know that when the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam

came, the countdown started. The countdown to the Day of Judgment started with the coming of the Prophet sallallahu ala he was sending him.

The second major event that I want to talk about is the death of the prophets of the lawn mower. I knew he was sending them.

Often man he called the Ola hotel. He says I went to the profits of the lumber I need to send them during the Battle of taboos. The biggest calamities that this oma has ever faced, and this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said that if any of you is faced with a calamity, if you're faced with a calamity, then think of my death. This is how big of an issue it was when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam passed away, unnecessarily Allahu Allah and he says that when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam entered Medina, Medina lit up, he said, The Allahu taala. And he said, It is as if Medina was full of light.

And he says, when the prophets of love were, I didn't even send them passed away. It is as if the light was gone from Medina. And this is why until this day, some scholars say that when talking about Medina, we shouldn't call it al Madina, munawwara, we shouldn't call it a lighted city, because the source of the light was the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, rather, we should call it something like el Medina number, we're the city of the Prophet. It is because of the light of the Prophet sallallaahu name, send them an answer of the Allahu taala. And he said, that as soon as we bury the Prophet sallallahu eleison. As soon as we put the Prophet sallallahu, I didn't send them in

his grave, we felt the difference. We felt the difference in our hearts, that even not all the companions were always around the prophets of love, where I didn't send them. But the companions would feel the presence of the prophets on the love it send them in the city. And when the prophets of the law is sent and passed away on us all the love that he says, we felt it, we felt the difference.

So that are those are those two major events that I wanted to talk about the other events that I'm going the other signs of the day of judgment that I'm going to talk about, are signs that we can take a lesson from. And then one of the Hadeeth, also narrated by another of the Allahu Akbar and the Prophet sallallaahu name send them tells us of three signs of the Day of Judgment. So I want to quickly inshallah talk about these three signs that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam told us about, firstly, the disappearance of knowledge, and the appearance of Gen or ignorance. The profits of the lottery seldom told us that Allah azza wa jal doesn't take away the knowledge from this ummah, from the hearts of men. Meaning it's not like somebody goes to sleep one day and they wake up the next day and their knowledge is gone. The profits on the longer I do send them said, that knowledge is taken away from this ummah, by the death of the pious and knowledgeable people, meaning the scholars,

until a time will come, that none of them will remain. And the people will take the ignorant as their leaders, and when they're consulted, they will give their verdict, meaning they will speak on behalf of Islam.

And they will not only lead themselves astray, but they will lead others astray. Now, there's a couple of things we learned from this heady. Number one, we learned that as time goes on,

there will be less and less people have knowledge. And this is exactly what we see today. And as a side note, this statement that I just made, and this is exactly what we see today. You're gonna hear me say this a number of times in my talk today, because a lot of these signs, we do see them today. So firstly, we see that the people of knowledge are dying out, and we have less and less people of knowledge. Number two, when people start to die out, when the scholars start to die out, people will begin to take their knowledge from those who are ignorant. So credibility isn't really a big thing anymore. So people it will not matter if a person has learned in Islam or not. That's not really an

issue.

So these people will be giving their verdict number three, that not only will the people seek out this knowledge, but those who are ignorant will will happily give out this knowledge, even though they have no credibility, and they have no right to speak on the behalf of Islam, they will openly speak and not only will they misguide others, meaning they will lead other people away from the truth they will misguide themselves they will fool themselves

the companions or the alarm data and we see that they took knowledge very, very seriously. Compared to our times, especially one of the Tetbury, he says that I was in the machine with

And this man says no. And he says, okay, when this happens, come back to me. And I will gather the companions who fought in the Battle of budder, we will get you an answer. Meaning Don't ask me useless questions. Don't ask me questions that have no benefit. And in our times, we see that people are interested in every single detail about everything, whether it applies to them or not, whether it benefits their Deen or they're done near their Aha, it makes no difference. But it remodeled the data and he said

Don't ask me about these things. Don't ask me about things that have no benefit to you.

Email Malik Rahim Allah to Allah. Mr. Malik

was the Imam of Medina in his time.

People would come from all over the world to come get the advice and the knowledge from Mr. Murdock Rahim Allah tala. One day a man came to Imam Malik. And he asked him a question

But come back to me, I will make sure I will make counsel with the other scholars of this area and I will give you an answer. inshallah, this man came back to Mr. Malik and Mr. Malik said listen, we have not come to a complete conclusion. And I do not know the answer. This man says to Mr. Malik, he says yeah, about the law, which is the cornea. Malik he says yeah, about dilla I have come all the way from mothership I've come all the way from Morocco. He traveled all the way from Morocco to Medina. He says, I have come from a people who told me there is no one more knowledgeable on the face of this earth than Mr. Malik. What do I tell them?

Any my Monica upset? He said tell them that Mr. Malik said law alone. He said Go and tell them that Mr. Malik said I do not know.

Because in my mind, like held knowledge at this level, a man asked him a medic for a illegal verdict. And he my medics and listen, come back because after research this issue, and the man said to my medic, why it's just it's just a small issue. It's just a light issue. Any mathematics said when it comes to religious knowledge, there is no light issue, as Allah azzawajal says in sanuki, Allah colons Akila,

that we have sent down upon you a weighty a heavy word. This is the knowledge of

I would view myself standing between heaven and hell, because of the responsibility of what he's about to speak about.

And in our times have had allow you see the exact opposite of this,

that people without even being asked people give their opinion regarding religious issues. And one of the amazing things, what we see very often is that you'll see people sitting a group of brothers or whatever, sitting in a room. And you might have a doctor in there, you might have a lawyer, an architect, etc, etc. And someone brings up an Islamic issue.

And you see that the lawyer will speak, and the doctor will speak, and everyone will give their opinion, they'll start putting their hands in their pockets and coming out with new opinions left and right.

And in this very same gathering, if somebody asks them a question

about medicine, and there's a doctor present, this doctor won't even speak, because he's afraid he might get sued or something like that for for giving medical advice. And if somebody asks a question about how to build their house, or how to put a new beam in their house, this person may or may not speak the architect and the engineer might not speak, because he realizes the importance and you realize that this is heavy, meaning he's gonna be held accountable for what he says. And this is just matters of the dunya.

You know, a lot of times when you when we see people talking about Islam, and we see people taking their knowledge from them. And when it is asked, What is this person's qualifications, meaning what gave him the right to speak about Islam. They will say, you know, he he has some

general knowledge about Islam he, he wrote a couple of books.

And I say to this person I say stupid a lot. Would you go to a doctor? Would you get surgery done from somebody who's read a couple books? Somebody who has, you know, some general knowledge about how to do surgery? Better how to cut open your body? No, obviously you would not. And that is a matter of the dunya. What about the ACA? What about our ashira and a lot of times when people speak about Islam, it's it has no basis when it comes to actual knowledge, we see that it'll either come from, you'll hear things like some kind of law. And this is always surprising. You hear well, I just heard this while growing up. Or I heard my parents tell me this, or you know, there's a brother, I

really respect him. And he told me once, and that there's no problem with that. But when you take that as a legal verdict, and you put it above the opinions of people who have spent their whole lives setting Islam, that's when it's a problem. And that's when it's an issue, if not a Muslim Allahu taala. He said one of the greatest sins for a Muslim is to speak about the religion of Allah azza wa jal, without knowledge. Abu Bakr radi Allahu taala and Abu Bakar, the one who the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that if you take his Eman and you put it on one side of the scale, and you take the amount of the rest of my oma and you put it on the other side of the scale that

Eman Abubakar will be heavier Abu Bakar of the Allah tada and he said, What earth will give me a place to stay and what sky will shade me if I speak regarding the book of Allah azza wa jal without knowledge or without that which I do not know.

So that's the first sign the the the loss of knowledge, and the prevalence of gem. Secondly, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam informed us of the abundance of alcohol, or how alcohol will be consumed in abundance. And one of the things we see in this day and age is that alcohol and drugs, they become very, very common. And if you have travelled to the west coast, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Marijuana, for example, it used to be something really bad and really taboo. And now it's just become something normal.

The intoxication for marijuana is considered Oh, it's not really that big of a deal. You know, and there's laws being trumped the petrona pass laws to legalize marijuana, and alcohol and these things we see, this is one of the signs the Prophet sallallahu Sallam told us when this would happen, when people wouldn't think it's a big deal to get intoxicated. And you know, even I think back to five or 10 years ago, when it came to the Shabaab the young Muslims,

alcohol and drugs was considered something crazy. Like even a bad Muslim went and do drugs and alcohol. But now you see Masjid going youth, people who come to the mission, people who are involved in mshs, and youth groups and this and that.

Drugs and alcohol is not really that big of a deal. It's pretty common. Thirdly, the profits of the long run, even send them told us that Xena will become prevalent, that illicit sex will become prevalent.

And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, if you're a sinner,

meaning that it will not only be done in public, or talked about in public and shown in public, but that people will call to it in public. And this is something that we see today. We've seen that not only is Zinner become open and out for everyone to see, but people actually call to this. And you know, as a brother mentioned, I have a background in graphic design. And one of the things that I studied while studying graphic design was marketing and advertising. And one of the first things we learned was that sex sells.

That's one of the guy that's one of the rules and advertising, that the more provocative you make your advertisement, the better it's going to do. So now we see that in advertisements, we see it we see we see it's done all over. And we see now movies and music and and TV shows. The more the more provocative the more lewd it is, the better it does.

Right. The more nudity that you see in a movie, the better it will do. The more lewd things that are done in a movie, the better we'll do, the more nudity nudity that is shown in a TV show, the better it will do. The worst somebody's lyrics are of a songwriter or rapper. Whatever the worst his lyrics are, the more degrading his lyrics are towards women, the better his records are going to do. And this is the fulfillment of the Hadith of the prophets of the logo and even send them when he told us that illicit sex and sex outside of marriage, illegal sex, immoral sex will become

widespread.

And a lot of people think that this is, you know, this is an issue only for non Muslims. And Muslims are safe from this, you know, Muslims don't have these issues. But that's not true. Anyone who goes and lives in the communities and they live in this society, they know that this is an issue that applies to Muslims and non Muslims alike. It's not something specific to the non Muslims. And one of the things we see that as time goes on, we see that it's becoming harder and harder for people to get married, in the time of the Prophet sallallahu, send them getting married was very easy. You do the guy, there's a simple matter, and you get married. All that was asked of the man was that he'd

be able to provide for his wife, that he can clothe her and give her food, feed her and give her shelter, and they would get married. And this is why the prophets have a long way to send them. He said that if a man comes to you, and you're pleased with his character, and you're pleased with his Deen, and you refuse to marry your daughter to this man, then you will see that corruption will become widespread in this oma that corruption will prevail. Meaning if you stop people from getting married, if you make it so difficult for them to get married, you're going to see problems, and you're going to see issues in society. And this is what the profits on the long run you send them

told us unrealistic expectations. Isn't this not something just for the brothers or just for the sisters, it's on both sides, unrealistic expectations from people when it comes to, to getting married. You know, one of the problems we see in our communities now is that if a sister has been married before, nobody wants to marry her, or her sister has children, nobody wants to marry this sister. And we see so many sisters who are not married.

And we see at the time of the prophet SAW, I send them time the companions, the Sahaba on the lower end, who were very quick to marry women who are in need, how many of the prophets on the lower end they send him his wives himself? So the Lord send them were married before? How many?

The Sahaba they would not let a sister

stay single.

And they would consider this an act of charity. And they would consider it something beneficial for them and something beneficial for their Deen.

One of the other signs of the day of judgment that the prophets of love I send them told about told us about is the spread of Riba.

The spread of interests, even at birth or the alumna and Houma, he tells us that a person

This is what we see that, especially in our society, we see that it's you're hard pressed to find somebody who doesn't have some type of interest in their life, whether it's a mortgage, or it's a loan on their car, whether it's a couple of credit cards, whether it's this or that some way, one way or the other. Somebody has some interests going on in their lives. And the

Prophet sallallahu Sallam told us that a time will come when a person will not care where their money came from, meaning the person will not care whether their money that they earned the wealth that they earned, was it held out or how long? Was it permissible wealth or not, that they won't care? And this is what we see today. that a lot of times, it doesn't matter how we got our money, it doesn't matter what what kind of job we haven't, we have a lot of Muslims doing a lot of jobs that involve a lot of interest, and a lot of companies and all that kind of stuff, and it really doesn't matter. What matters is can I buy a nice car from my family? Can I buy a nice house from my family?

That's what matters. And we know that the prophecies send them and telling us about the people or the those actions that a person will be questioned about on the Day of Judgment. One of the first things we're going to be questioned about is our way

Where did we get it from? And how did we spend it?

One of the other signs

is the spread of bloodshed.

The profits of a law where you send them said, law Jacomo, Sarah had

called lumen Hello, Joshua law on a pattern, a pattern. The profits of the law when they send them said that the hour will not come, the day of judgment will not come until there's a lot of hedge. brother and a sister killing a sister. And when the Prophet sallallahu Sallam told the companions that it is the Muslims who are killing each other, the companions said, and the Dana akuto, Allah, He, they said, Well, we have our minds. And the prophets of the law, when you send them said, certainly, these people will have their minds taken away. And they will be lowly people who will think that they're following something. But indeed, they're not following anything. Meaning they think that they're fighting for a cause. They think they're fighting for an important issue. They're killing their brothers and sisters for an important issue. But the Prophet sallallaahu, I didn't

send them said that they are lowly people. And indeed, they're fighting for nothing. Meaning this cause that they think is so important, indeed, is not important.

And I know my time is short. And actually, there's there's a lot of signs, but I'm going to quickly run through a couple of them extravagance, in our machines, the profits on the lower and extend them said, larger homes, Sarah had data burner, stupid massagin, the prophet Sall Allahu anhu, send them as they're in bionis for the 11th hour. implications of this heading, then you will see the problem. And that's what we see today. The problem of people spending so much money, and so much wealth, to build the infrastructure. But there is nothing inside, as the Prophet sallallahu Sallam told us that nothing will be revived in these machines. meaning there's going to be no life in these machines. Yeah, they look beautiful, they look nice. There's a nice huge dome and millions of dollars were spent on this machine. But there's nothing going on inside. And you look at the machines of the profits of the law, who I send them, I would say 100 of the time, he tells us that the machine of the profits on the lower it has send them

would be covered with date palms, to the point where when it would rain, the water would come in

and the ground would get wet.

And it was only in the time of the alota that he sealed the roofs. And when it remodeled the law who thought it when he sealed the roofs, he told the builder he said to him, he said listen, seal it, but make sure you do not use the color yellow or red when it was not the actual colors of yellow and red. What he meant was do not beautify it to the point where he said it will become a fitna for the people.

It will distract the people. Because a lot of the love that I understood the message of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, he understood that what is inside the machine, the community, the people, the Muslims, the youth are far more important than how the machine looks.

And this is why you see that this machine of the past seven was very simple. It was immensely simple. But you see that it was the greatest machine to ever come about in the history of this not that the data was spread from the messages of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from this small humble Masjid. With date palms and mud on the ground. We see Islam was spread through all corners of the world that people were called and invited to Islam from this humble mustard, the mission of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

One of the last things I'm going to discuss is the issue where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that from the signs of the hour, is that people will only give set alms to those whom they know. And once again, this hadith can seem like it's not that important. It's not such a big deal. If you look at it, if you just take a look at it on the surface, but what this hadith is telling us of the prophets I send them is that Muslims

will become detached from one another, that the communities will fall apart, that people will stop to care about one another. So when you see someone, you won't feel the love in your heart for them, to give them sometimes you just think it's another person.

And Subhanallah This is something that we do see today. And I clearly I can recall at least a dozen instances where I was walking in a mall or in a grocery store, and I see a Muslim and a Muslim sees me and we make eye contact. And it's like, and the person walks away, because you're shy to say, set up.

Because the love isn't there. And this is what is missing from our oma today. You know, as as as, as being minorities living in the West and living in America as a minority. One of the things that we really need is the love and the bond between the Muslims. We need to build our communities and we need to be there for one another.

And when a Muslim gets harmed, we stand by their side, when a Muslim gets wronged, we stand by their side. We don't let them suffer on their own. And this is what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was telling us that this is one of the signs of the Day of Judgment.
