Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato. And welcome to the Ramadan reminders where we hope through every night of Ramadan to provide you with a reminder, which will benefit you in sha Allah and look at the different aspects of Ramadan. And obviously, as we were starting Rama, Lyon and Ramadan is just beginning it's very important for us to renew our intention, I think about why are we fasting in the past scholars have spoken about the importance of intention, because they said intention is necessary. In fact, it's a pillar to make the fast correct. But I think we have to think about in a bigger context, and that is the intention is not just about whether or not the actual action is

correct, but to actually make the intention pure, clearer, more sincere. We're trying to achieve as much as possible with our intention to make it sincere to Allah Subhana Allah to try and achieve taqwa to achieve piety, to come closer to Allah to be conscious of ourselves about others to be conscious about what's happening there as well around us so this Ramadan as we're starting off, let's take a moment to just stop and reflect about why are we fasting How can we achieve this fasting how can we make it the best that it can be? So we need to remember to login to Ramadan to make sure that our actions are for Allah subhanho wa Taala and to have the best intentions of all
