Salam or Aleikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh at hamdu Lillah wa Salatu was Salam ala rasulillah. Gabbard and welcome to the final episode in our journey we let you have to enable your claims beautiful book about how to gain the love of Allah subhanho wa Taala. In it he mentioned 10 ways or 10 reasons that qualify us to receive the love of Allah azza wa jal and Alhamdulillah. Within the last couple of weeks, we went through all 10, or at least all nine and today is going to be the final episode of the final sub or reason that gives us the opportunity to receive the love of Allah azza wa jal. And first and foremost, I just want to pray an Escalade so a gel to indeed count us

00:00:42--> 00:01:29

from amongst those who qualify, and who will receive His love always and forever. For the one who receives a loves love is protected, a less a less forgiveness is showered upon them. And ultimately, the ending result is ullas Jenna and we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to allow us to be there, allow him and mean. As you can probably tell from the title of this video today and shout, Allahu Allah, it's all about creating a barrier, or excuse me, protecting yourself for allowing a barrier between your heart and a lot so much else. So how to keep that barrier away. And what is the barrier that we're talking about. In Arabic, this is called an hour, an hour it literally means a barrier, a

00:01:29--> 00:02:14

curtain a wall or something that prevents you from reaching what you desire something that's good, and you desire it but you're unable to get there can't reach it. That's our our, and the scholars teach us that there are several Arwa that prevent us from keeping a relationship between us and our Creator. The first and foremost is the shaytaan. Alliance. silica gel tells us in so little out of that the shaytaan himself says to Allah thumbnailer tn Min benei ad him women healthy him wearing a manly him Wang Shama le him alarm Sergio says that the shaytaan himself is saying that I'm going to come to them from the front, from the back from the right side from the left side. And then a lot so

00:02:14--> 00:02:55

Adele tells us further that the shaytaan himself says that you'll find that most of them will not be grateful. In other words, those who are able to overcome the shade pun, they're still able to connect with their Creator, they're still able to do the things that they need to do to feel that relationship is there. Most of the people who have that are not going to be grateful to Allah subhanho wa Taala it gets absolutely profound. That shade Pon himself will say this to Allah, most of your servants are going to be ungrateful. May Allah protect us from ever being amongst them alone. I mean, so if you don't pay him, Rahim, Allah finishes off his book with this final chapter

00:02:55--> 00:03:40

of this final subject. And to be honest with you, it's amazing simply because we are here at this title. And we're only days away from welcoming the most blessed Sid time of the entire year, of course, after Ramadan, and that is the days of the ledger. And the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam told us that these are the days that Allah loves the most throughout the year. It's the first 10 days of the gem that Allah loves of any other time of the year when we perform righteous deeds when we do good deeds and righteous acts. And so start to think about what it is that you want to do and accomplish during these first 10 days. And since Hajj is pretty much closed, except with the

00:03:40--> 00:04:18

exception for a few groups, or the locals and things like that. The point is, is that most of us around the world who intended to go for Hajj, and especially go for Hajj this year, who knows what the story is going to be like next year. Unfortunately, this is not the case. And so the closest thing that we have is an opportunity to at least uplift our spirits and uplift our Eman is the first 10 days of low hija. And so start to think about the things that prevent you from connecting to Allah what those things are. A lot of it as we mentioned, as the show is from the shaytaan. Also distractions, see what are the things in your life that constantly take your time, they take your

00:04:18--> 00:04:59

concentration away from the things that you need to be focused on. Think about your company, a juicer. So think about evil company or bad company who are the people that you'd be friends with the people that you're talking to, that you're texting and connecting with. Think about that and think about how you can at least gain some control over that, or at least limit that level of distraction. Think about also not just distractions, but the things that you've had set in mind like goals and ambitions you've had and you've never been able to achieve them. You've had goals to memorize a certain section of the Quran or to perform certain duties or to give side up or charity. Whatever

00:04:59--> 00:04:59

the case

00:05:00--> 00:05:39

says, but you haven't been able to do that. Why not? What are the things in your life that are there or not there that have prevented you from achieving those goals? This is what they'll claim Rahim Allah wants to leave us with is at the end of the day, all of these 10 reasons will mean nothing if there are barriers between your heart and your Creator subhanho wa Taala. He mentioned specifically the heart because that's where it all begins. It's about the intention. It's about the sincerity, it's about the will. It's about the desire, all of those emotions, all of those feelings, they come from the heart. And so it no cutting him wants us to concentrate what's in your heart? What is it

00:05:39--> 00:06:22

that you desire? What is it that you want to achieve, and hopefully, everything that you think about has some connection between you and your Creator. So ultimately, no pain or human low one says that once we conclude, conclude this book, that we feel that we can establish and keep and protect and preserve some kind of connection between us and our Creator. That's really important. Because as we think, and we reflect on the world, and everything that happens in this world, and everything that we confront, and the things that we feel in this world, it's our connection with Allah that brings peace that brings a sense of tranquility that brings a sense of ease and calmness in our lives.

00:06:23--> 00:07:05

Usually people who stress usually people who go through mental stress and depression, and they're overwhelmed with the world and everything that surrounds the world, usually, I mean, that could have a number of different reasons. But one of the reasons that's part of that is that loss in connection with Allah subhanho wa Taala. Why? Because he's the one that relieves you of the stress. He's the one that cures all of our problems. He's the one that is there for you to respond. He's the one that's there for you, when you ask, he will give and we talked about a lot of these concepts already. So usually, when people become overwhelmed in life, it's because they're missing that link,

00:07:06--> 00:07:53

or at least part of the picture is that they're missing that link between themselves and their Creator. Finally, the one of the last things that I want to mention on this subject is sins is a massive, massive barrier between us and Allah sins. And there are so many ahaadeeth so many, that are constantly encouraging us to repent, to make Toba to ask for forgiveness, to do certain things that at least extinguish some of our sins. The reason why all of that is there is that at the end of the day, every single day of our lives, we sin, and we will sin and some of the sins that we fall into, we may not even know or realize that we've said or done those things. And so to at least cover

00:07:53--> 00:08:37

some of the things that even us we're not aware of that we've done. constantly being in the state of is still thought and forgiveness helps us to navigate and purify our heart and our soul. So that despite the worst scenarios, despite how difficult life can be, that connection will always be there and give you hope, give you strength, keep you positive, keep you motivated. That's what that's what happens when you have a less pedal guitar that in your life. That's what happens when you think about a lot all the time. When you have that connection, there is nothing that can disconnect that from you. It's so strong, it's so meaningful. It's so pure, it's so powerful. You'll do anything in

00:08:37--> 00:09:18

your life to preserve that. And subpanel love for a believer. That's the strongest connection that we could hope for in our lives. That at the end of the day, no matter what happens, no matter what we experience and go through, just don't tamper with our connection between our hearts and Allah subhanho wa Taala. That's one thing we can never remove. Once that's gone, everything else falls apart in our lives. And so for those of you who struggle with that, the last thing that I'll leave you with is actually the opposite now, not the barriers, but the things that will help us keep that connection with our Creator. You know, something, I'm just going to mention one. One thing, if you

00:09:18--> 00:09:59

do this, in sha Allah huhtala that connection with Allah will always be there your entire life. It doesn't matter how weak your faith is, that connection between you and your Creator will never disconnect. So what is it called an urn portal and I can't say it enough. I don't even know how many times I spoke about the subject in the previous videos, but it's just about reciting the Quran. Just read the whole end just read it. And watch the miracle of this book, The blessings and the buttock of this book.

00:10:00--> 00:10:43

Watch it unfold in your life in your heart, watch what it does to you. Just when you sit there and you start reading your favorite soda, start off with your favorite soda, whether it's sort of noise or at a scene, whatever the case is right, and just start reading it, finished the entire sort of, so spend like 1015 minutes, just finish the whole store, and close the book and go back to your duties and your chores, or what have you, and see what happens to you, you'll start to feel the sense of relief, you'll start to feel a sense of calmness. And this hunger and this appetite in you will start to grow that one surah wasn't enough, you want more. And before you know it later on that

00:10:43--> 00:11:33

same day, you promised yourself you'll only go for 15 minutes. But later on that same day. That same sort of keeps rewinding itself in your brain. And you want to pick up that poor and one more time and start reading it again. That's what poor and does poor and doesn't just feed our appetite, it creates one, it makes you get more and more hungry, and you want more of it. And the blessings and Baraka of this book are endless. So no matter how much you try to fulfill your appetite, you still get more and more hungry, because that's how delicious and tasty and sweet the cornbread is. So this is really the best way to start off that connection, to preserve and protect that connection. And to

00:11:33--> 00:12:11

feel what that connection really is, I can't tell you what it feels like, I can't tell you that, you know, I have a connection with Allah. And this is what it is, I can tell you that. And those of you who have that connection with Allah, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It's something that's impossible. You can't find the words you don't know how to describe it, but it's there. And you know, it's there. Because every time you need Allah, you can establish that connection and talk to him. So many people will hear Hey, Allah Sala here, that fella come to prayer come to success. But how many people actually respond to it. And think about if you have those n clocks in your house in

00:12:11--> 00:12:52

your homes, then you hear the event, but the TV's on, or you're on your phone or you're doing something, and you hear how yellow solar hail and failure. This is one of the reasons why I personally don't have an event clock in my house. Because I don't think that it's possible for me to always be able to respond to the call when I hear it. And I try my very best that even though it's a digital digital version version of the event, even though it serves as a reminder, even though it's nice, and it's beautiful. But at the end of the day, I want to respect the call. And I want that call whether it's coming from a digital device or an actual person, I want to treat the call the

00:12:52--> 00:13:29

same way as if I was in the masjid hearing the call from an actual person. And so that's just the way that I've trained my heart and my discipline. So personally, I like to keep track of Salah, I like to keep track of the time I like to make sure that you know on my phone, it'll just give me an alarm, okay, it's time for prayer. And then I will give the man or somebody else will give the event and do the whole thing ourselves. Because the experiences that that it's it's much more sacred, it's much more beautiful in that sense. So think about those things. Don't just treat the event clock as just an alarm and that's in and then you can just shut it off and continue doing what you're doing.

00:13:29--> 00:14:11

And before you know what you end up praying late, because then now you've you've defeated the purpose, you've lost that connection. And ultimately, that will continue with your connection with prayer, you'll lose that connection there. It'll just be a like cardiovascular exercise. Then in the Salah itself, you're concentrating on everything else except Allah subhanho wa Taala you don't want that to happen, poorer and cleans all of this up, or and puts everything together. it organizes your heart. it organizes your thoughts and your feelings for a lot and brings everything together. You know, it's really hard for somebody like me, somebody who spends time studying and you know, I've

00:14:11--> 00:14:53

gone to study for some time, and I'm engrossed in this kind of work, it's very hard for me to imagine that we as Muslims, we have this miracle in front of us the Quran itself. And still there are Muslims that will never read it, who don't even know how to read it. And that's fine. If you don't read it and you don't know how to read it. That's okay. That's a starting point. The question is, what are you going to do about it? Do you see that there's a need to change that state. Okay, I need to learn how to read, I need to at least develop a consistent relationship. Do you see that that there's a need for that, that you should have an intention to do that. That's one thing. But

00:14:53--> 00:15:00

then those who do have the intention, they'll say things like, Yeah, I know. That is important, but I don't know how to read it. I don't have time to go to a class. I know.

00:15:00--> 00:15:38

I should be connected. I know she should study this book. But I just don't have the time. What are you going to tell the last panel with Tyler? You're going to tell a lot that out of 24 hours of the day. Well, I just I couldn't find the time. I couldn't find 15 minutes of my day. You know, it's really something to think about. And this is why with this poor and in front of us, the prophet alayhi salatu salam will complain to Allah, on the day of judgment will call of Rasool era be in a coma todo Havel por Anima, Judah, He will say to Allah, all my master, my own people took this poor and, and they've abandoned it, they left it, they ignored it, they had it on their shelves, they had

00:15:38--> 00:16:24

it on their phones, there were apps that will place it was that easy. They just had to click on it, and they still made hedger away from it. It was the one app that they barely clicked, it was the one book that they barely picked up from the bookshelf. Those are the things that you have to think about. You know, I could go on and on and talk about other things that help us keep that connection. But quite honestly, if you don't have the recitation of the Quran in your life, nothing else you do, will be meaningful. You won't find the blessitt feeling of Okay, I'm going to give sadaqa and it feels good mighty men increases, you won't get that you'll just be giving money away. And you'll be

00:16:24--> 00:17:04

like, yeah, I've done my part Alhamdulillah Let's go eat. Like you won't experience sudden, but you'll just perform it. And so that's the same thing that's going to happen with all righteous deeds, you'll be patient, but you don't feel patience, you don't know what that feeling is, it's not uplifting you. It's not making you a better person. It's just an act that you perform, you just do it for the sake of doing it. And that's a tragedy. Because you're doing the action, but the heart is sleeping. You know, the heart is not active, the heart is not doing the action with your body. And this is what hypno playing wants us to think about and to reflect on. And so with that being said, I

00:17:04--> 00:17:41

want to at least conclude this appropriately by saying May Allah subhanho wa Taala accept from us our efforts, all of you who have been joining me and listening to me every single day. May Allah azza wa jal bless you and honor you and everything that you've heard, just understand, you've heard it from somebody who is subject to mistake after mistake after mistake. If something I've said or have taught you that didn't come off that right or it didn't sound clear, or it was confusing, just understand that that's my weakness. You know, that's something in me, it's nothing wrong with the book, it's nothing wrong with what I'm trying to teach is just a fault and a weakness that I have in

00:17:41--> 00:18:22

my life. So what you'll forgive me, just keep in mind, I'm not the only speaker out there. If there's somebody else out there that can explain certain concepts better, then by all means, continue your journey and continue learning from everyone, as long as it's beneficial knowledge. And finally, Maillard xojo continue to allow us to do this and continue to speak about our Deen learn something about our about our religion, and just to uplift ourselves to make us feel better about ourselves that at the end of the day, no matter how messed up I think I am, at the end of the day, as long as I'm alive, I can always improve. I always have the potential to be the best believer in

00:18:22--> 00:18:46

the sight of Allah once and as long as I am alive. And so with that being said, ally, so what you'll accept from us our deeds, our efforts, our righteousness alone, I mean, may Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive us of our shortcomings and our mistakes alone mean just up from a low height and and with that being said, before you all go, I got something I want to show you guys. Now, take a look at this.

00:18:48--> 00:19:41

You're probably looking at this and wondering what in the world is he holding? So this is a box and in it, it's got a bunch of cue cards. Okay? So just take a look at that. A bunch of cue cards are all in here. Each of these cue cards, there's a chunk of them maybe about five or six at a time, that are put together with paperclips. Okay, so let me pull out one. So it's got paperclips. And this is our next series, this box. Now what is this box all about? This box has all of the first lectures and hotbeds and talks that I've done. When I first started speaking about, I don't know about 15 years ago, I used to write down every single word that I would say so literally you I was

00:19:41--> 00:19:59

the guy that would be sitting there and the Prophet it is Salatu was some and rarely make eye contact with the audience. And over the years as I got better with it, then I started finding I found myself that I didn't really need to depend on the cards too much. However, this box and everything in it is more important to me.

00:20:00--> 00:20:41

Then if this box was filled with money or filled with gold, like what's in here right now is more dear to me. And this is why I've kept them so long. And I've preserved them. And I've put them away. And now what I want to do is I want to create a series called, let's be inspired, or let's get inspired, I haven't thought exactly what the title is going to be. But it's going to be along the lines of inspiring one another. And that's what this is all about. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to go through every single one of these, and I'm going to redo them. So these are all different topics, every single set of cards here is a completely different topic. And I'm going to

00:20:41--> 00:21:19

share this with you, and then I'm going to go through them. And it's a mixture of a whole array of different subjects. So don't think it's just about the horror end, or it's just about one subject here or there. No, there's heavy their stories of the self stories of the slab stories of the quarter. And there are different subjects about Amen, you name it, I've got every little bit of everything in this box. So I'm going to call this series either be inspired or get inspired. And obviously, the title speaks for itself. So that's going to be our new series insha Allah tala is I'm going to go back down memory lane, and pull out some of the old school stuff that I used to write

00:21:19--> 00:21:31

and have. And I'm going to show it to that as I'm reading them when, you know, flash them in front of you so that you get an idea of exactly what I'm doing. Believe it or not, guys, let me just see. See if I can pull one of these out.

00:21:32--> 00:21:54

Okay, I've got that. I really want to show you guys. There's one particular one that I have here somewhere. Look at this. Some of these things, I've written them in hotels, you know, the the notepads you get in the hotels, I've written some talks in there. So I've got that with me. And check a check this out.

00:21:55--> 00:21:58

I've even got like these weird shapes,

00:21:59--> 00:22:29

of papers just sitting. Let me just take a look at how this looks. So I have like, cut out half a cutout of a piece of paper stapled together, then I've got more of that I've got more notepads from different hotels and places that I've stayed at over the years. And I even have one sitting in on a paper towel. Because where I was at one point, here it is. Check, check this out. I've even got one of these guys.

00:22:31--> 00:22:34

Check this out. I wrote an entire course

00:22:36--> 00:22:37

on paper towel.

00:22:38--> 00:23:20

And you know what this course is? This course is about the Shahada so actually taught and I remember this, I taught a two day course, full two days on let ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasool Allah off of a paper towel. It's not the it's not the material that you use, but it's the quality, it's the knowledge that counts. And I did this intentionally because of stories I used to read about how scholars would write on pieces of wood, slabs of leather tablets here and their stones, and I'm like, okay, I don't have any of those things, but I got paper towel. So let's see, I'll write it on here. And it's been over 15 years and I still have it so I'm going to share all of this with you in

00:23:20--> 00:23:39

sha Allah hotelera so with that being said, Guys, this concludes today's final episode of this particular series and look forward in sha Allah hotaru tomorrow when we start our brand new series of get inspired by Chuck malo hydron May Allah azza wa jal bless all of you stay healthy. was said Mr. alikum warahmatu Allahi wa barakato
