You have the mother or the father, all practicing people, focused, they went through the month of Ramadan, taraweeh, etc. But one problem with that is the child or the children, they're in

a completely different world. She's up in her room all day. He's in and out of the house all day and nobody really knows whether they're fasting, whether they're focused, whether they're even praying, nothing. How do you change this focus on one problem at a time, most people like to solve all of this in one or two days. Look at the sun, talk to him understand what his issues are, understand what the problem is, he's dealing with, look at the daughter sit down and speak to her understand what her issues are and deal with them once at a time you do that a lot. you know what that child is going to do if they're not willing to listen to you. They're going to pick up the phone after you're done and call their boyfriend, call their girlfriend and say to them, you're the only one that understands me. You're the only one that listens to me.

I can't listen to anybody else. Every time my parents talk to me, all they do is lecture me. This is an indication your child's not willing to listen. So you have to ask yourself, you're hearing all of these yet and Hadeeth is it actually instilling or igniting any change in your heart? If not, then understand one thing. There's a possibly possibility, Allah azza wa jal has stamped your heart, from hearing the good things, from hearing the things that will benefit you. Your heart has become desensitized to good information. One of the reasons this happens is because our heart is already cluttered with filthy information. Our minds is cluttered with useless information. So there's no

room for good information to be there, you can appreciate it anymore. If you listen to a lecture about the Day of Judgment. Some people compare that to a movie they saw and say, Look, I saw 2012. So what's the big deal? This is because your mind is cluttered, you can't see it. So it's really important for you to ask yourself, if you're willing to change, stop for a moment, and really, really sift out what's in your heart and what's in your mind. You do that.
