So, I hope you all recall what we studied in class one in regards to this particular series. So we started off with the life of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah so for those of you who may be tuning in only today, a small introduction before we delve into the content. This series or this particular class titled Sahih al Bukhari is going to be a series of classes where we hope to discuss an amazing compile ation of a hadith of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and that is the compilation of Imam Al Bukhari. rahima hula. Now the completion of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah is dubbed and is known as the most authentic book after the noble Koran, the most authentic book after
the Noble Quran. So it consists of a number of a Hadith, a number of a hadith that have been compiled by Imam Al Bukhari or him Hola. So, in Episode One, we discussed certain number of features in regards to this particular book the compiler of Mr. Bahari, and without any delay we went into the life of Imam Al Bukhari or Hema hola So, the initial stages of the life of Imam Al Bukhari was discussed. So towards the end of the previous session, we discussed a few stories in regards to the life of Imam Al Bukhari
and the kind of an individual he was al Bukhari Rahim Allah, we spoke about that that C journey that he undertook, I hope those of you who tuned in last week or recall the discussions that we had to recall the stories that we shared in regards to the life of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah. So we mentioned that Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah he set out at the age of 16, with his mother and his brother, to the lens of Hejaz, to Makkah and Medina, so he basically set out on Hajj and then his mother and his brother returned whilst he stayed back to seek knowledge. So we're going to continue from there onwards so the Imam rahula he spent six years in the lens of hedges he was traveling from
Mecca to Medina. So he spent a great deal of time in during his young age in Baja where he sought knowledge and now that he's traveled to Makkah and Medina, he's seeking knowledge there are two from different scholars from Makkah and from Medina. So Manuel Bukhari Rahim Allah He traveled a great deal in order to expand his his knowledge, his horizons. He made trips to Egypt he stayed in in the lands of Arabia. He also traveled to Kufa he traveled to Baghdad, he traveled to Basra. He travels to all these places, he himself says to seek knowledge, I traveled to Egypt I traveled to Basra. I spent six years in Makkah and Medina. I traveled to Kufa and and Baghdad on so many occasions has
gone to Kufa and Baghdad on so many occasions accompanied by scholars of Hadith, accompanied by experts in the field of Hadith. And now Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah was becoming, you know, he was gaining proficiency. He was gaining mastery in this field by sitting with scholars of Hadith, by learning from them by by narrating a hadith by teaching others. So scholars they go on to you know, talk about Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah in the books of history, and they say that he would respond like lightning as in when someone would ask him about a hadith about a particular narration, he would give the answer like lightning of his memory, and it was almost as if he knew the narrator's
of the Hadith of the Hadith like his own siblings.
You see, a little bit of context here. For a lot of us we might think of the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, as in the Hadith, if you're not very familiar with the science of Hadith, you might think of the of if you take a hadith for example, you know, for example, let's say enamel armado been the, the Hadith that talks about the importance of intentions, the prophets are a long, highly valuable Selim, he says along the lines of these words, that your actions are based upon your intentions, it's a very powerful Hadith and many scholars go on to talk about this, this Hadith, and and deduce and glean lessons from this hadith and, and, you know, today, so Pamela, a
lot of us, we either don't have a proper understanding of this Hadith, or we have a flawed understanding of, of this particular Hadith. And, and that is why we go on to,
you know, do certain things that are not in, in line with the teachings of this prophet of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam in this particular Hadith.
You know, for example,
I was reading in the news that in certain parts of the world, and in a particular locality, as well, in our own country, that despite warnings being put forth now we're living in a landscape where we we have been asked to do what to self isolate, we have been asked to distance ourselves socially, you understand? So in such a situation, we're not allowed to congregate for the Friday prayer. We're not allowed to congregate for Serato. Gemma and that is why we had a reminder online we get that digitally online yesterday. But unfortunately, there are people today who are not listening to their governments. They're not listening to the advice being put forth by the health ministries. They're
not listening to their
Authorities they're not even listening to their own scholars Subhana Allah and despite knowing the risk and how contagious the sickness is, in certain areas, they're trying to organize Salatu Juma. They're trying to organize Friday prayers going against the law of the land, so hon Allah. This shows that these people they don't understand that this Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, my dear brother, my dear sister, the prophets that allow it it was me saying that your actions are based upon your intentions. So you are not willingly staying away from Salatu Juma, you want to go for Salatu Juma, but due to the current situation, due to the threat that is in place due
to the risks that are in place and due to the guide strict guidelines that are in place, put in place by the governments by the health ministers were supposed to respect our governments were supposed to respect the guidelines been put forth by our doctors by health ministries, and so many many scholars all over the world are saying stay at home and pray salata for her at home, you will be rewarded by Allah subhanho wa Taala for your intentions, but there are certain of us who seem to think otherwise. And Subhana Allah, risking their own lives and not just their lives. They're harming others. They're gathering their congregating. Disregarding all these guidelines disregarding
the advice been put forth by the scholars, this shows that they have a flawed understanding of the Hadith of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam all they have to do is stay at home and praise Allah Tovar. And they will be rewarded for Salah to Juma by Allah subhana wa jal because the situation is beyond our control, the situation is beyond our control. Are you willingly staying at home? Are you willingly or intentionally neglecting Serato? Juma? No, you want to pray Serato Gemma but the situation is such that it is beyond your control. You cannot go to the masjid you cannot pray Serato. Juma. So by staying at home, you actually you know what, it's my opinion that you're going
to be rewarded Double, double, you're gonna be rewarded double how so you may ask? One, you're going to get the reward of Salatu Juma by merely staying at home because the situation is beyond your control. And number two, by restricting yourself and staying at home and ensuring that you're not putting your life at risk and no, are you harming others, you're going to be rewarded for that as well multiplied Subhan Allah, but you go out, you know, trying to having this flawed understanding of the Hadith and thinking, you know what, I'm going to disregard what the government has to say, I'm going to disregard this and I'm going to go you're actually actually going against the teachings
of the deen. You're going against the teachings of the deen Subhana Allah.
Why? Because you're going against the law of your land, you're putting yourself in harm, and you are harming others. Subhan Allah, what if someone who has the infection, he or she does not know that they're carrying the infection and then they go out, they congregate, they meet with others, they meet 20 3040 other people, they infect all of them, and maybe they don't know and they've gone to infect you know, what you've been reading about social distancing, you know, the harms in this regard, so panela and as Muslims as believers, we need to be intelligent, many brothers and sisters in Islam, we need to act upon the words of the prophets of Allah values. And I would say the people

We went into these famous compile Asians now for example, we devoted an entire year to study the famous compilations that are in place like the book of emammal behind rahula The Book of Imam Muslim Rahim Allah, the book of Imam Abu Dawood Rahim Allah The Book of Deuteronomy, the Rahim Allah The Book of mmamoloko Rahim Allah The Book of Imam anessa Rahim Allah The Book of Emami Buddha Majora, I'ma holla we devoted an entire year or a little more than a year to the study of the Hadith in these compilations. And towards the end of the year, my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, we were given the chain of narrators until our teacher so basically, the teacher that I studied my a high D
from the Book of Abraham Allah he heard it from his teacher and he heard it from his teacher he heard it from his teacher, and this chain goes to Imam Al Bukhari and from Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah, it goes to the messenger salallahu alayhi wasalam. So now this chain this chain is what I'm talking about. Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah was so well versed with the narratives, that they were almost like his siblings. Now for example, if someone were to ask you about your sibling, you would know a lot of details in regards to your sibling, right, so imovel Bihari Rama, hula in regards to the narrator's of the Hadith,
that what the narrator's or what Ravi is the singular form of what basically which means the narrator's of the Hadith emammal Bihari Rahim Allah He knew the narrator's like his own siblings, so he knew who of them Because see, the generation of the Sahaba is one light, Allah, Allah Jeannine, no doubts at all. All of them, no doubts whatsoever, they speak the truth. But then, generation after generation down the line, I think I mentioned this in the first class, that after a period of time, you had certain people who came to understand that any in any situation, for example, if there was an argument in place, okay. The trump card would be to say, you know what, I have a hadith and
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says this and everybody would keep quiet. So certain people with vested interested in Western interests, went on to fabricate and lie against the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Allah subhana wa Adana, in his divine wisdom. He brings about legends like emammal Bihari rahima, hula to protect the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So remember Bihari Rahim Allah He knew, okay, this narrator is a narrator who speaks he's a strong narrator. He is not a liar. He would not lie against the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and he will also no narrators down the line. We're not talking about the galaxy of the Sahaba read
one of the Talmud. We're not talking about the generation of the Sahaba No, please don't get me wrong. sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa seldom, so, you have certain heidy that have been classified and categorized as as mobu as fabricated lies against the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and now if Allah subhanho wa Taala had not brought about the brought about legends, the likes of Mr. Malhotra Mr Lyne others today we would not know from the Heidi's we would not be able to sift through we would not know which had these are authentic, which I had this week which are high data moto which had data fabricated, but because this stringent science is in place Alhamdulillah the words of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam are protected. And as you will see, Mama Bihari Rahim Allah His memory was exceptional as well. Mama Bihari Rahim, Allah was exceptional.
His memory was exceptional as as well.

okay, so there was this comment that's in place. Chef, how long after the prophets are long, widely available celebrated among al Bukhari Rahim Allah come about. So in the previous class we mentioned when was he born? We mentioned that he was born in the month of chawan 194 after the higit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So we're talking about almost 200 years after the hegira of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So after the hegira the calendar was established after the history of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam. So after they made hegira to El Medina, so 194 years basically after the hit of the prophets that along with them mm al Bukhari Rahim, Allah was
born and then in terms of the death of Imam Al Bukhari, Rahim Allah the passing away of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah, we're going to be
discussing that as well. He passes away in 256, after the header of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam. I hope that's clear. now we're talking about the piety of Imam Al Bukhari. Rahim Allah there's an incident that is mentioned in the books of history. One day mama Bukhari Rahim, Allah was praying as in he was with the students and they all prayed Serato for her and after

And as the student was checking a wasp or a B, you know, something like a bee or a wasp fell out, leaving 17 places which was swelling due to the violent stings of this insect.
One of the students immediately asked the the Imam share.
It's, you know, you could have stopped the prayer you could have discontinued the prayer to you know, address this and then gone on and at the end of the day, it was an optional prayer could have easily discontinued
the Imam went on to say, you know, there was this certain pleasure that I was indulging in Sala, which I was reluctant to let go of as in the intense sweetness that I was indulging in Salah was greater and stronger than than the pains of Hannah lopatok We are not talking about a mosquito here. You know, for a lot of us when we are in Salah mosquitoes and flies bother us and we just feel like you know, leaving the Salah, here we're talking about a poisonous insect. We're talking about a wasp or we're talking about a bee stinging him away 17 places and yes, he felt it but the sweetness that he was tasting and savoring in Salah was stronger, that he did not want to leave his Salah, so hon
Allah.
Another incident that is mentioned in regards to the piety in regards to the principles of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim over here I would say it's about the principles of empowerment behind him Allah that once a group of merchants so basically what happened was, remember Bukhari Rahim Allah along with his teaching he was also an individual who indulged in business he was also an individual was in involved himself in business. So one time there were certain merchants who came to the Imam and said you know what, here is our merchandise and you know, in your travels, you can try to sell them and you know, so basically they had a partnership with with Imam Al Bukhari, Rahim Allah because
obviously they trusted him they wanted to, you know, help him with what he was doing etc etc. They were number of reasons as to why they came in and trusted their goods by the Mama. Mama, say mama Bukhari Rahim Allah now sets out he had his own merchandise a lot of merchandise is basically a caravan so he sets out now he sets out he reaches the land where he is having to sell the merchandise the goods and as he arrives in that land, the merchants of that land who knew him they came to him and they were very happy that they had he had come they will come him and they do all of that and then they say, You know what? We will we want to offer you 5000 dinars for your merchandise
we will we will buy all of what you have for 5000 dinar so it was a killing. It was a decent and good profit and the Imam if he had bought it we could have closed the deal then and there. But then he thinks to himself, I just arrived okay. It was in the night it was late evening. I have not even seen what the morning holes. So he tells these people you know what, let's let's discuss this further in the morning and let's close the deal After further discussion. Let's keep it pending for now. So they go back next day morning. Another group of traders come and meet Mr. Malhotra hola and this group of traders now they offer the Imam 10,000 dinars. So the initial group 5000 dinars the
second group 10,000 dinars.
Imam Al Bukhari Rahim, Allah after after, you know,
taking in their their proposal, he tells them, you know what, last evening, so and so group came and offered me 5000 dinars. And I had already made an intention this morning, before you all came to give them the merchandise and to close the deal. And given that I have intended that I do not want to deprive my brothers from this particular deal. And given that they had made the initial proposal, I would like to go ahead with them. And he disregarded the 10,000 proposal and went ahead with the 5000 proposal, because he was a man of principles, a very humble and respectful individual. One day he was he was teaching a class and he had people seated with him. He was seated in a class teaching.
Now there was one individual who was in the class and he was, you know, playing with his beard, if you will. He was he was, you know, just
running his fingers through his beard. And there was something in his beard like pattern.
a strand of miswak or something like that, that fell from his beard. And he takes it and he throws it onto the ground. This is in the message. This is the house of Allah subhanho wa rahmatullah. Ramallah was very, very vigilant, he observes it. He observes it and he waits, he teaches, he finishes the class and once the class is over, once the class is concluded,
the people get up to leave and once everybody had left him, I'm Al Bukhari rahula.
He goes to the place where this man was seated after everybody had left not only his close circle of students where he takes the strand of miswak, that was on the ground, he picks it up, he picks it up himself. He goes and throws it outside, a very humble and respectful individual he respect respected the sheer are the symbols of the dean, the massage in the houses of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Because obviously, if every single individual would come into the masjid and do that, we would have so much of debt and but not in the masajid. So, the Imam was an individual who was humble, he was respectful, and he had strong principles in place, and he was an extremely generous individual as
well. So once emammal, Bihari rahula was practicing archery, you know, and this to again to act upon the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. But did I say he was very zealous and very ardent in terms of following the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and we had the Hadith that Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah Himself records in his compile ation the prophets that along really, really well Salaam once passed by some people of the tribe of Benny Aslam, who are practicing archery, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, Oh benu is my real practice or obon is my practice archery as your father is mine was a great Archer. keep on
practicing, keep on throwing errors arrows and I am with Benny so and so. So in that particular Hadith the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam goes on to encourage the practice of archery as a sport. So remember him Allah one day he was practicing archery with his students, and he aims at a particular target and he shoots the arrow hits the target Bullseye hits the target splits the target into two and goes on to hit a peg that was behind it and splits that into two as well. Now this peg, this peg, it was like a tent pole if you will belong to the fence of someone else's property. Say mama Bukhari Rahim Allah then immediately calls for one of his students and says, please go to the
owner of the tent or the house and tell them that you know, we were practicing archery and it has damaged one of their tent poles one of the pegs of their fence that we would like to do what we would like to either repair the peg for him or we would like to recompensate him by perhaps purchasing a new peg for him or installing a new peg for him to please get his permission in this regard. Because this will happen accidentally. So the student goes and and knocks on the door the owner comes out and the student relates the entire discussion that he had with the moment because Rahim Allah so now the owner says okay, so who was the one who shot the arrow who sent you basically

We don't even bother sharing it. So hon Allah you're disregarding Firstly, the words of the prophets that allow it very seldom. And number two, a good message, a message of light, a message of faith, a message of hope. But on the other hand, we don't we don't mind liking half nude pictures, we don't mind sharing nude pictures of men and women Subhana Allah exposing their bodies and whatnot. We don't mind sharing indecency we don't mind sharing videos that that contain haraam messages and
whatnot we don't even think twice Allah, but then positive and good messages no Subhan Allah so my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, I would like to remind you as I usually do, to please share these streams across on your platforms across your circles of influence, and inshallah loudhailer. you know, well, if you think I'm wasting my time, I can narrate to you every single narration that our teachers have been teaching us from day one.
So the colleagues were like, Okay, fine.

narrators of Hadith number one and swap it with Hadith number five, and you know, so on and so forth. Basically jumble up all the chain of narrators and and present it to him and let's see if he picks up on it.
So score number one comes forward and he reads out the Hadith with the jumbled up chain. Remember before the hammer hola he listens to Hadith number one. Now the audience the people around. How come you don't know all these are high these a lot of these hobbies we know it ourselves.
How come you don't know of it? Say mama Bihari Rahim Allah now stands up and he says, well,
scholar when he explained he says, I said I'm not aware of these narrations, the way these individuals presented to me berada I'm aware of it like this. And then what does he do? He mentions Hadith number one. He says this individual mentioned the Hadith like this. And he mentions the jumbled up version. And then he says, but actually it's supposed to be like this and he gives the corrected version. He does the same thing for number two, he says so and so said Hadith number two like this. This is wrong. The corrected version is this. This person mentioned Hadith number three like this, the corrected version is like this wrong version. Correct question wrong verse version,
and the right version wrong. Right, wrong. Right, wrong. Right for all 100 narrations. The people, media, brothers and sisters in Islam, the scholars, the students of knowledge, the entire audience was flabbergasted. They were astounded they were desert, they were shocked so much the extent that they did not know whether to be surprised in regards to how in that city itself, he had memorized the wrong versions and he was able to give the wrong versions or to be surprised with his articulate memory of the right versions. Somehow he had memorized the wrong versions then and there and he gives it to them he did not get confused. You know a lot of us have a lot. For those of you who are
memorizing the Quran, you will know that at times there are ayat that are, you know, similar ayat where you get a little bit confused. You start off in one surah and you end up in another surah for those
You know, for the students of little haoran they would relate to what I'm saying. Here he is memorizing the wrong version and giving the right version wrong version right version wrong version right version without any confusion without any mix ups without any any contradictions whatsoever. souhan a lot. In other words, the Hadith are not going to come to your doorstep the way you want it to come. Here are the classes in the masajid that I am conducting.
You can come to the class and listen to the words of the professor Lombardi very seldom, the words of the Prophet are not going to come to the doors of the palaces.
Now the governor
was offended.
He sends another message now saying, Okay, if that is the case, if I have to send my sons who are like princes, royal family if I want to send them across, I can't have them seated with the common people with the common folk. Once you are done with your class, I want you to have an exclusive session for my family. Arrange that immediately.
Remember Bihari Rahim Allah responds again saying I'm not going to be swayed
by all this, I'm having my class for example, from this time to this time, let's say from 1030 to 1130 or 1030 to 1230. If you want to attend, you can come and attend and I can't stop people and I can't segregate people saying that you know what, this class is a special class and this class is a general class. everybody listens and learns at the same time. So he reached out to certain people like certain students of knowledge, certain scholars, even if you will, Subhana line this is why none of us are free from the traps of sharpen. There were certain people who are jealous of the progress of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah jealous of the fact that you know, his gatherings were so good and his teaching style was so was so amazing and that his eloquence he was at another level, his mastery and proficiency in a heartbeat was at another level. There were a lot of people who are

He had even written books against it, where he established that the words of the Quran they are Colombo law, they are the speech of Allah and they are not created. the value of a property would actually go up. If the property had a Muslim neighbor Subhana Allah, the value of said the property would go up would actually appreciate if there was a Muslim neighbor. Because if you're buying this property, you get a Muslim neighbor with the property, its value would be considered higher because Muslim neighbors were that good. And with that his soul passes away in Nadella he was in La Jolla, Raji own to Allah we belong and to Him return. May Allah subhanho wa Taala have mercy upon him. He says, I asked Yara Sula, who are you waiting for? And then the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he responds, I am
waiting for elbow hurry. I am waiting for L Bihari for Mr. Buhari. And after a few days, this scholar says I heard the news of Imam Al Bihari Rahim Allah passing away Allahu Akbar.
